I was disappointed in the meal I got yesterday. I ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer. The sauce and the mushrooms were hot, but the stuffing inside was not. I ordered the Manicotta as my entree and there was absolutely no seasoning on this dish. Its been a while since Ive been in. Im not giving up. Ill go back, hoping it have better luck.

I had a less than satisfactory experience with my recent order. When I added shrimp to my daughters kids size Alfredo pasta with extra shrimp, I was informed that it would include 7 jumbo shrimp for an additional $9. Upon receiving my order, I was surprised to find only 4 shrimp. While I appreciate the quality of your food, I believe its important to ensure that the information provided to customers is accurate.

This is by far the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. The owner Aaron is charming and accommodating, I had the pecan chicken with orange cream sauce and it was the best meal Ive had in my entire life! I am a customer for life now I will be coming here once a week definitely and the prices are very inexpensive especially for the portions that you get and the taste of the meal itself. This restaurant was absolutely amazing and very affordable. My daughter and I were out running errands and decided to eat Italian cuisine. We googled and stumbled upon this amazing gem. My daughter ordered fettuccine Alfredo and I ordered the chicken Florentine. It was absolutely amazing, fresh and hot. The complementary rolls are huge and very fulfilling. From their menu: [HOMEMADE PASTAS All include Homemade Garlic Rolls Add Tossed Salad $2 or upgrade Caesar Salad $3 Spaghetti, Angel Hair, or Penne 12.95 Choice of Marinara, Mushrooms, Meat sauce, Meatballs, or Italian sausage] I was charged $15.45 for Spaghetti-L Add sausg instead of $12.95. I was charged $3.65 for Tossed Salad(H) instead of $2.00. If you really need the money, keep it. I will not return to ask for any money back nor will I ever eat there again. DISHONEST AND DECEPTIVE PARACTICES dont sit well with me so Im just letting others know, thanks.

Great, comfy, and homely atmosphere. Our waiter, Nishi (sorry if I spelled that wrong!), was incredible. Extremely polite, inviting, and attended to our needs ASAP. Great service and amazing food. Our entire party absolutely loved our waitress. She was incredibly attentive to our table and treated us with outstanding hospitality. We ordered a large Chicken Murphy Pizza and the portions were incredibly generous. The bread we were served beforehand was also incredibly appetizing. Will be visiting again!

I recently visited this Italian restaurant and had a delightful experience. The Chicken Murphy, paired with a freshly prepared small salad, was absolutely enjoyable. Enhancing the Chicken Murphy with a bit of Tabasco turned out to be delicious. Additionally, the coffee was good, complementing the meal perfectly. The pricing was reasonable, and the ambiance of the restaurant was very comfortable and inviting. Im looking forward to my next visit!

We were served bread on a table with no plates or silverware. There was no salt or pepper, and we had to request parmesan. One shaker was brought for the table of 10. Drink refills were never offered. It took a half hour to get checks once it request was finally acknowledged.

My wife and I had a wonderful evening celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary at the Italian Villa in Carrollton. We love Italian food and they did not disappoint! The service was wonderful as well, with our server suggesting some yummy choices to try. And, it was nice to sit in a restaurant with nice music(Sinatra, swing type music) playing that was just loud enough to hear but you could still have a conversation with people at your table. One of my pet peeves is going to a restaurant and the music is so loud you cant have a conversation. So, thank you Italian Villa for a wonderful evening. We will be back!

1st time here and never returning. I ordered the Chicken di Napoli to go. It was the worst Italian food I ve ever had. I ve never had horrible Italian food and I m 43 years old. I m in utter shock. Bland, no seasoning or flavor at all just tons of olive oil. They didn t bother to wrap the roll they just threw it in the bottom of the paper bag. The salad didn t look appeasing to the eye. I paid $19 for this lunch. Wishing I would have went next door to the Mexican restaurant.

Walked in and Loud Mexican music was coming from kitchen. Waitress was clueless about the menu.The pasta with garlic and olive oil was covered in unmelted butter. HORRIBLE! Not awful. Not great. The waiter was polite and friendly. The food was bland and palatable. I imagine it would be lovely fare for an old folks home where seasons and flavoring must be kept to a minimum. If the portobello ravioli weren t smothered in regular sliced mushrooms, I might be led to believe there were some portobello in it. If I happen to forget why I am avoiding this place and mistakenly visit it again at some point in the future, I may revise this review. For now, I ll be content to get my ravioli from a fan before I come back here. This would otherwise be a two-star review, but the waiter was genuinely trying.

Tried this place on way home from work, and the food smelled great but got home, my son loved his spaghetti, and meatballs-marinara sauce wasnt bad! Veal and sausage was okay-just no flavor, my husbands shrimp scampi tasted like fish, no flavor...if I wasnt tired, and felt like going back, I would have returned it for the 60 bucks I spent not worth it. This place belongs on Gordan Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares. I ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, baked ziti, and stuffed mushrooms. The alfredo sauce tasted like it was poured straight from a jar. No flavor whatsoever. By the time I got my food home, the sauce had spilled all over the flimsy packaging and I couldnt even locate the stuffed mushrooms. The bread was stale, and no silverware or napkins. Damn. The Owners need to invest in quality to go containers, fresh and not frozen ingredients. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Totally disappointed.. placed orders to go..the lasagna and sampler.. I love this restaurant! I love to order their pizzas. The veggie pizza is very good and they are flexible with modifiers and dietary restrictions. There is so much variety in the pizzas and I also love their pasta dishes. Their food has plenty of flavor and is is very fulfilling. The restaurant staff is very kind and attentive. Italian Villa has a warm and welcoming environment and treats costumers which much respect and care.. I love the vintage aesthetic and the jazz selection of music playing. Went here for lunch which was a mistake. Pros-the server was very nice Cons-the food took forever but there was only 3 other tables The personal pizza barely had any sauce and the crust was tasteless Wife ordered veal pasta, order was wrong And the mens bathroom was absolutely disgusting. It was okay. The olive oil appetizer seems to be cooking olive oil, no flavor of virgin olive oil like you would expect. The food was pretty good but something was forgotten from both orders at out table. There was no fresh cracked pepper or red pepper flakes. We came in for their lunch special on a Saturday when Heather was working. I wear a headscarf and it was evident she didn t like the fact we are Muslim. When we came in she wanted to gave us the regular menu when I told her we are here for the lunch special. It was only then she gave it to me. She gave us water and brought the bread. I sat there waiting for the salad that is included and she wasn t planning on bringing it for us. I go up to her to ask her about it, she was texting and says oh, what dressing would you like. No sorry no nothing. Then shortly after she brought us the food she asked us how it tasted and if we wanted the check. Didn t wait for us to enjoy it just immediately indicating she wanted us out of there. Mind you while we were eating, two older white ladies come in, and she brings them water with lemons and the regular and lunch menus. She tells them about all of their salad options and what they can mix and match. When we were leaving and ready to pay, she charged us for the drinks, which are included in the lunch special. We told her this and she removed it from the receipt. I told her so other people get lemons in their water, a salad, and good treatment and we get charged for drinks that are included in our meal. To this she just told me husband to sign the receipt no care whatsoever. Not even trying to hide her discrimination. Worst customer service experience ever, if you aren t white apparently.

Ate here a few days ago! Always impressed with the quality of the orders. My family decided since it was too cold & rainy, so we decided to order from our favorite local Italian pizza place. We decided to get (2) Large pizzas, (2) meatballs, Manicotti, some Toasted Raviolis, Fettuccine Alfredo & the Spinach Artichoke for an appetizer. The food and service was good. I have some little concern about the pricing. I order a lunch special paste with alfredo and beef, which is $10.95. I replaced the noodle to Angle Hair, and add some spinach and mushrooms. When I checked out, I surprisingly noted it is $18.95. My family has been going to this place for many years and over that time the quality of the food has remained constant - always excellent. We have taken friends and house guests to the Villa and there has never been even a mediocre meal. We had a wonderful house salad with hit rolls and butter. Fir our main course we ordered a Supreme pizza without green peppers. Our pizza came out and was so yummy. It was some of the best pizza you can get in n town. We are our fill and boxed the rest to bring home to enjoy again. Our server was Abbey. She was very attentive to our ordering needs. We will go back again.

Ive been here well over a hundred times over the last 15 years and the experience is almost always perfect. Sadly, due to the pandemic, I hadnt been here since early last year. I did curbside pickup here and was not sure what to expect. Well, everything was great. The service was good, the food tasted as great as it always had and I cant wait for this pandemic to be over, so that I can go back and visit this place regularly again.

This place is worst than cafeteria food. They put imitation crab meat which is actually not crab in their seafood pasta dish. The pasta portion are a joke and the spaghetti was so watery and tasteless my kids refused to eat it. Will not go again.

Visited this place for the first time with my husband and my sister on 06/17/21. The atmosphere of this place is great; we re all a fan, especially my husband! Customer service was also very friendly and great. Price is also very reasonable. We ordered chicken parmigiana, spaghetti, chicken alfraedo, tomato and basil soup, salad with their house vinaigrette sauce, and we had their garlic bread with butter for appetizer. My husband LOVES this place, my sister and I do too. However, if I have any complaint, I would say the food is not quiet perfect. The food is very good, no doubt about that. Unfortunately, if you were to compare the spaghetti, chicken alfraedo, salad, and chicken parm to OG s, you can tell that IV is a bit lacking in terms of flavor. I m not saying their food is bland(maybe the spaghetti was a bit on the bland side), because their food is really delicious, just not on par with OG, but the price is better than OG so if you re tight on budget, choose IV. Also, the atmosphere is so nice that we re willing to chose this place over OG. We ll be frequenting this place for sure:)

I ordered at 650p and was advised delivery would be at 730p, at 746p I called for the status and was advised it would take another 30 minutes. Its already past dinner time and they only offered a free dessert??!! Refund my $41 and it would have been nice had they called and communicated any issues. I wanted to try it, but this experience was horrible. Its unfortunate as I will not attempt again. What a waste of time, and now I have to figure out dinner for my family on the fly. Updated: I received a call from Abigail regarding my review. She did apologize for being short staffed. She also offered $20 food credit to try their establishment. It would have made a greater impact, had someone called prior to my delayed delivery. Then, I received a voicemail shortly after, requesting to remove my review as they are attempting to accommodate my poor experience. Im not sure how I feel about that. It was a solicitation to maintain good reviews versus make amends for my unpleasant experience and being rectified genuinely. No thank you, I am not seeking a free menu item and found this offensive.

Cool, rainy Texas nights call for Italian comfort food. I m on a mission to support as many small businesses around our area and I m so glad we did. Such a great vibe to the restaurant even though we were picking up our food. The lasagna was very flavorful and my husband and teenage daughter enjoyed their cheese tortellini and fettuccine Alfredo but the spinach and artichoke dip was a bit underwhelming. Maybe because we got our food to go so I ll save my negativity for the next time we come and I have to force myself to eat the chocolate cheesecake or the cannolis. Disappointing meatlovers pizza. Dough was not made the same day. Crust was tasteless and did not rise during baking. Meat ingredients were poor-avg quality. Sauce was regular thin tomato sauce from a can, no flavor. Cheese had no flavor. Too much salt added to top of pizza. Perhaps this was done to compensate for the cheap ingredients. Pizza was slightly undercooked. I hope the owner reads this and fixes this pizza disaster. Train the cook and use quality ingredients.

This was our 1st visit and if i could give Zero Stars I would. The bread was dry and burned on top, no taste what so ever, horrible cheap butter spread. I ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo no taste what so ever. The chicken is boiled not grilled as they claimed, looked like fake chicken out a can. I asked for Italian dressing and was told they dont have any, what Italian resturant doesnt have Italian dressing? I could not eat the food and the waitress or manager didnt even ask if the food was ok or if there was a problem. Do not spend your money here...not worth the drive or the time! WASTE OF MONEY

We are new to the area and I was craving Italian food. I went in with relatively low expectations and was blown away. I had the shrimp scampi and it came with a house salad, I m normally a ranch girl...let me tell you go with the tomato vinaigrette. Italian cream sodas were awesome as well. Ordered for takeout yesterday for the first time, and the food was delicious! We had the chicken marsala, stuffed mushrooms, and tiramisu everything tasted perfect and hit the spot for us :) There was a bit of a wait when I was picking the food up and I saw a lot of multitasking while working the cash register, but I figured they were understaffed and had a lot of orders to fulfill. The ambiance of the restaurant looked super cute and quaint, so I ll definitely be stopping by to dine in soon! Highly recommend!

Weve been dining with Italian Villa for years now, since we moved into our house near this shopping center. The pizza and pasta are great, and we love how close it is to our house. Sometimes dine-in service can be iffy (could be we were just there on a few training days or someone was having an off-day). Weve asked a few times about off-menu items using the same ingredients, but they could not accommodate. However, if youre looking for great food, we highly recommend any of their pizzas, the lasagna, specialty raviolis, baked ziti, and the cheesy garlic bread with tomatoes. Ive read some reviews about the decor - this is a local restaurant in a shopping center, so its a small space. I think theyve done a good job giving it a cozy feel. In pre-COVID days, if they were really crowded, it was probably too cozy, but if you visit at off peak times or go for delivery/take-out, youll have a great experience.

Very disappointed. New to the area and wanted to support local businesses, the pizza crust appeared to be store bought, it wasn t cooked enough and tasted gummy. I took two bites and couldn t eat anymore. When I walked in to pick up my order I noticed the lady behind the counter making my cream soda with 2 different types of syrups one was red and it had a pink foam on top. I tried it and it tasted like seltzer water with pink foam. (I didn t drink that either). I ordered a Caesar salad and tiramisu too. I liked both of those but It s not like you can mess up a salad. I m sorry to say I won t be going back.
