Have gone to this location 20 years and they have always been considerate, professional and more than trust worthy. At times they give me a list of car needs & let me know what order to accomplish them. Quite often its the cheaper item at the front of the line. Chris helped me today with a new to me, old car I just bought. As always he & his team did a terrific job of making me feel I was in a competent & honest place.

I came to this location concerned about my AC issue. The ac was not blowing. I felt anxiety about how much it was going to cost me to repair. There is a new manager who greeted me. He was very attentive. He was able to research and much to my surprise, it was a minor thing. I am so very happy with the professionalism and prompt service I received. I will definitely come back to this location if I have any other auto issues.

I took my car in today cause I had a knocking noise. I found that the sway bar was hanging, so I took it in. The mechanic Chris did a quick efficient job on fixing my sway bar. He was able to fix it with a nut since my sway bar was missing a nut. I would recommend coming here. Hes awesome.

Went in for a beake job since my brakes were making a rubbing noise. They did a free 4-tire inspection and then showed me what my brakes and rotors looked like before starting the work. Since my car needed to stay longer than expected due to needing parts, I was provided a complimentary Lyft ride home. Car was finished that day without issues and car is noise free. Very happy with the work and will definitely be back if I ever need any future work on this vehicle or my next one. Thanks Chris and your team.

Deeply disappointed - frustrating, time-consuming, and misleading experience. We brought in our car to get diagnosis on the AC because it did not work; we received a diagnosis and a quote for $1k to get our AC fully working. We decided to go ahead and leave the car for a couple days to get the problem taken care of, when we picked it up, they assured us that it was working, and if anything stopped working, to take it back to the shop. After a couple hours of driving around the AC stopped working (on the same day we picked it up from the shop), we took it back to the shop and they supposedly fixed it again, only for by the time we picked it up and drove on it for a couple hours the AC had already stopped working again. We made several trips to the shop over the next couple of weeks and the diagnosis kept changing, they said other things were wrong in the system and that it would be another $1.6k to fix this apparently was not covered by their warranties and these problems were never brought up during the original diagnosis. Obviously we were upset at the fact that they misdiagnosed our problem and wasted our time for a couple of weeks, just to end up with a totally different diagnosis from the original problem and with our AC still broken. I cannot in good faith recommend this establishment and their practice, at least for their AC services. Now we are down $1000 and the AC still broken.

I visited Breaks Plus in Carrollton, TX for brake service on May 25, 2024. My experience was unfortunately less than satisfactory, and I have concerns about potential damage to my vehicle (2015 Toyota RAV4). Red flags appeared from the start: The appointment was only scheduled for inspection, not brake pad replacement. I had to leave my car overnight, picking it up the following day after lunch; instead of replacing the breakpad while vehicle was already lifted and wheels taken out for the inspection. The most concerning issue arose during the inspection. I believe the staff attached the lift incorrectly on the drivers side, though they seemed to realize their mistake quickly. However, this error appears to have resulted in my drivers door becoming misaligned. It no longer closes as smoothly as the other doors, and hits door-lock section with a noise. I noticed several staff members trying to open and close the drivers door during the inspection, which reinforces my suspicion about the misalignment issue. While I appreciate that mistakes can happen, Im disappointed by the damage to my vehicle and the overall lack of transparency. I would caution other customers to be vigilant when using this shop and to thoroughly check their vehicles after service.

This was my first time coming to Brake Plus which was strongly recommended from another business Discount Tires. I needed a screw to be taken out from the week and costed me $70-71 which was a reasonable deal due to it took me 3 hours and no luck. When I left my car was starting to make a weird sound as metal scratching over metal and it frightened me driving like that. I am writing this review to express my profound disappointment with the service I received from your establishment. The lack of professionalism exhibited by the sales representative and the inadequate diagnostic skills of the mechanic were utterly unacceptable. I want to emphasize that I have a recording of the conversation I had with the sales representative, which I have listened to numerous times to ensure the accuracy of my claims. My primary concern was to identify and resolve the source of the screeching noise coming from my vehicle. I specifically asked the representative to determine the origin of the noise and address it accordingly. However, the sales representative claimed that my rear brake pads were extremely thin and the rotors were significantly worn, recommending a complete replacement. Additionally, he mentioned that the front rotors were also nearing the end of their lifespan, but still had some brake pad remaining. When I inquired if the rear rotors were the cause of the screeching noise, the representative affirmed that they were, given their poor condition. While he did mention the deteriorating state of the front rotors, he did not attribute the screeching noise to them. It is evident that neither the representative nor the mechanic had a clear understanding of the issue at hand. I opted to replace only the rear rotors and pads due to budget constraints and the assurance that they were the source of the noise. However, upon completion of the repair, I heard the mechanic parking the car and the screeching noise persisted, audible even from inside the building. Despite this, when I inquired about the noise, the mechanic denied hearing it, contradicting my own observations. During a test drive, I immediately heard the screeching noise upon applying the brakes, confirming that the issue had not been resolved and the root cause had not been properly identified. When I confronted the sales representative about the situation, he displayed a complete lack of concern and changed his stance, suggesting that the front rotors could have also been the problem. This contradicted his earlier assertion that the rear rotors were the definitive source of the noise. Had I been informed that the front rotors were the issue, I would have prioritized their replacement. The crux of the matter is that your team was incapable of accurately diagnosing the source of the noise, as they failed to conduct a test drive before commencing the repair work. This led to an incorrect assumption and resulted in the customer spending money on an ineffective solution. While I acknowledge that the rear rotors would have required replacement eventually, that was not the primary reason for my visit. I came to your establishment to identify and fix the source of the screeching noise. When I attempted to discuss the issue with the sales representative and point out the error in working on the wrong rotors, he refused to admit any fault and instead dismissively told me to take the keys and leave. In light of this experience, I have no choice but to give a 2-star rating, solely for the labor of replacing the rotors with new ones. By the way, I went to another local brake shop and guess what they did, without me telling them where the screeching sound could be coming from (now I know it was the front since I changed the back rotors to new ones), they did a test drive really quick to hear what the sound was and tried to verify where the sound was coming from. This is the very basic step that YOU did not care to do.

Unfortunately, I can t give you all my best review. I don t believe my experience is as good as I thought it would be. I m very disappointed that a brake service took five hours which caused me to miss work. I got there a little bit after 9:30 am and left after 3pm. As far as customer service it could ve been a bit better. I don t feel like I was prioritized at all, and was the only person sitting in there waiting that long and it seemed like they just were taking their sweet time getting the work done. I will not be returning to this location.

Fantastic service. Went in for A/C recharge, oil change and radiator flush. Mechanic call me over to see the oil pan leak and had that repaired as well. Very good job and the prices cant be beat. I would recommend Brakes Plus to all of my friends in Carrollton.

Upon arrival I already had my brakes checked so I had already knew. Trish has my car checked and shows me usage of my brakes. She says you need to replace your rear pads and your front could use it too. Mind you I already knew my front pads were at 30 percent usage and my rear was at 70 percent so I knew my rear was getting close. She proceeds to show me estimate for both front and rear brakes. Rear brakes is over $500 I look at that and say that s more than Volvo dealership. She looks puzzled and says really, but are they changing your rotors? Immediately I tell her to put my car back together! I m not an idiot I know rotors don t need to be replaced! That alone lets me know this place and TRISH is dishonest and just looking to boost her sales numbers! I don t recommended at all!!!

Very impressed with this shop, never thought of going to a brakes plus for anything other than brakes but I had taken my car to two other places and it still wasnt fixed so some recommend taking it here and Im glad I did. They diagnosed it and found out that it was actually a computer problem which sounded dreadful and expensive but to my surprise they were able to locate a used one at a great price. Now Im back on the road and its running better than it has in a long time. Shoutout to the manager there (Ryan) and the tech that worked on my vehicle (Braydon)!

The experience I had at this location was beyond great customer service. I came into their location on a rainy day and needed an alignment REALLY BAD. They informed me from the get go that the service time might be a little longer due to how bad my alignment was. I had the opportunity to have a great conversation with Frankie and other customers while I was there. On my way through Texas to Arizona, I had to stop. My brakes were grinding something fierce and were not going to make it the rest of the trip. I came in and spoke with J. He took me through everything they saw that had an issue, not just the brakes. I got to see my van from the underneath and actually see everything he was talking about, which let me take pictures of parts that need maintenance. They got it all done in an afternoon on a Saturday. J was super straight forward with cost and worked with me on what was 100% necessary to do today vs. what can wait and be saved up for. He printed out basically a to-do list for work that needed to be done and how much it would cost, and even which jobs to do together to save a bit on labor in the future. On top of that, the office was nice, I got a hot cup of coffee and they have wifi. I drove off with silent brakes and am so happy I stopped in. Thank you!

They diagnosed my car s problem, gave me an honest and fair quote / estimate on the work, and even stayed well after closing hours to finish so that I could have my car back the same day! And unexpected customer service - Brake Plus paid Lyft to transport me home and bring me back! This was a real benefit to me because the work to fix my car was going to take 3+ hours to complete! Work done right. Work done on time and at the quoted price. I don t know why I would ever go back to a dealership to get my car repaired!

Before my last service with them it had been down but I needed some quick service and they are really close to my house so, I stopped in about a month ago.
