Dirty, Booths have Holes in them. Service was weak and food was absolutely terrible. We asked for the check after taking one bite of cold food with weird aftertaste. They didnt charge us for the food and I still felt cheated. New management or just go out of business please. The place was deserted so we should have known....

Wonderful experience. We tried so many sushi rolls (I forgot the names & forgot to take photos } ..but lawd! They were good. I also ordered the beef pad Thai, and its a large order. 2 people can share & my goodness, it was delicious. The beef was thick, and a good portion was mixed into my pad thai.

If you want the table side grill with your own chef, may I suggest having a party of 6 or 7? If you dont, you will have to share your grill with strangers Dont get me wrong. Foods good The chefs are great. For me personally think its a little overrated if youre sitting back where the grill tables are at, and you have 3 parties in there at the same time, it gets louder, then going to babes to eat.

This place has totally fell off, this was our fav before Covid, went at least 3 times a month, after Covid we still went just started getting to go s, one of my favs was shrimp fired rice, but now they are putting lil cheap salad shrimp in there and still charging the same, if you want normal size shrimp you now have to pay more, this is horrible, the one time I paid for bigger shrimp, I feel like they did something to my food, I got sick after eating, I m looking for new sushi places to dine, this is no longer my go to, there was also times they would mess up our to go orders, but if we called they would credit for next time, not sure if there is new management after covid but definitely needs to take it back to same menu and portion size pre covid!

UPDATE: Delicious again. Credence was great! Delicious. The smoked salmon and Super White Tuna were a generous size and free of any tough connective tissue, making for a buttery smooth texture. The Dancing Eel was delicious and so large I couldnt finish it. I had 2 Matlrtinis. The Ultimate Cosmo was great as usual, but I wish i had started with Leeche as it was even better. Sharon gave her usual stellar and friendly service. When coming to the Sushi Axiom, ask for her. The decor is clean and estheticly pleasing. I would like them to do an update, but it is kept clean, and nothing looks old. They did NOT play the radio, which, for me, is a BIG turn-off. There is nothing like experiencing fine dining while being subjugated to ads from Auto Zone. No, Sushi Axiom played upbeat modern dance type music (no ads) that were in the background, making conversation easy. I will return.

First time here for a date night and it was the perfect low lit atmosphere. We originally wanted hibachi, but we did not realize that you needed to make reservations so if you want hibachi definitely make reservations before going. We had combination soba noodles and they were delicious! 10/10 Sushi was delicious and so fresh! Spicy tuna roll 10/10 Sesame seared tuna 10/10 Smoked salmon 9/10 Octopus 10/10 Lychee sake 10/10 Orange chicken 1/10 unfortunately this had no flavor or spice at all. Went here on a Wednesday afternoon for a late lunch with a friend. We got side fried rice, crab puffs, double happiness roll, tuna roll, Burleson roll. Everything was delicious! The waitress was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean and pleasant.I definitely recommend, give it a try! They have some unique rolls that worth trying and a nice bar selection.

Love this place. I had the Madori, Stardust and my wife had the Fresh Jalapeno made with soy paper. Also had the spring rolls. Everything was great. And the staff were tremendous. We talked to one of the chefs and she even shared some of her own asian homestyle recipes with us. We will be back.

We kept checking for cameras to see if wed been punkd the service was so bad. We would have been happy to continue ordering additional cocktails and sushi; however, our server kept ghosting us. When the menu item I wanted wasnt available or would have taken too long, I asked for suggestions. I made it clear that I do not like salmon. It was suggested I try (Midori?). If you are a small party requesting hibachi, dont go. They will seat you with a larger party and your group will not get the hibachi experience. My son and I went for lunch today and the chef prepared everything on the cook top in front of the larger party and only turned to us to put food on our plates. Oh, he turned to us to sing happy birthday to me and that was it. So we did not get an hibachi experience. We had been going there for years but that ended today!

Some of the best sushi in the area, but the service was terrible. Our glasses were never refilled, We ordered a second saki which never arrived, they never cleared off any of our appetizer plates and we had to stack them up on the side of the table so they could put our entrees on the table, they never took a single dish off the table the entire meal. They added a 20% gratuity on our bill and when we inquired about it, were told that we had 6 humans at our table and they automatically add 20% gratuity for 6 human beings We did have 6 humans at our table but two of those 6 were children age 2 and 7 which did not order food?? They charged us for items we never received and then added gratuity on the items we never received. We waited 20 minutes for the waiter to come back so we could get this cleared up and finally went to the front and asked for the manager. The manger sent the waiter back over and he handed us a $10 bill and said that should cover the mistake. Never in all my years of eating out have I had this happen. Not a single Im sorry this happened, they were rude and didnt want to bother looking at the bill. I would rather drive an hour and eat at a restaurant with food that was good but not great and get better service. What a terrible experience for our first visit we will not be returning.

We had lunch at this place. The ambience was really good. It quiet and calm. We had conversations very easily. We ordered Special Sushi Bento Box. We got sashimis, some salad, and an orange. Please. I was rendered silent while eating the baked salmon sushi. It was that good. Went with my sister. She had a type of Thai noodle, which she raved about. I ordered the baked salmon sushi, edamame,quail egg (its raw and you only get one; it was so cute and little)-comes on a wasabi bed with sauces dipped into the egg, and avocado sushi; restaurant was clean and dark-very classy yet relaxing and cozy simultaneously, staff were wonderful, very attentive and laid back, but seem to take pride in there work. The chefs hands are gifted. Wherever they received their training, it shows in the food. Everything was nice and affordable. I paid roughly 50+ dollars for both my meal and my sisters meal together. Tip is not included in the total I mentioned. Just the raw summary. Vegetarian options: Vegan options are clearly marked on menu or can be made vegan in some way. Disgusting. Restrooms were a wreck, no soap, paper towels laid on the wet sink left soggy. Trash overflowing, toilet paper sitting on the floor soaked in liquid by the toilet. Sat in the Hibachi section, cook top was left dirty with chunks left on it. Top side of unused napkin was still dirty with dried crust. Once the chef started he used a towel to brush the leftovers to the side, but then carelessly mixed them into the rice later. Did the typical toss the egg into a guests mouth, but it bounced off the random guys mouth right back into the rice. Mixed it in again like it was nothing. Contacted Sushi Axiom via website and got no response, so here you go.

They scored a 24 from the health department. Incredibly dirty. Ice machine to plates to the table all improperly cleaned and sanitized. They also have no soap or towels and use their hand washing machine for other things other than washing their hand. They also aren t keeping food storage containers clean and are cross contaminating food for example raw shrimp uncovered next to another container of uncooked meat. Please read the health inspections!

I prefer the hibachi joint across the road. This place doesnt offer a hibachi plate on the non hibachi side. If they had more than 3 hibachi stations I could understand that but even the hibachi joint across the highway offers hibachi plates on the non hibachi side of the resturant...if that makes sense. Very good and fresh food. Lots and lots of items to choose from. My daughter, granddaughter and myself are really pleased with this restaurant in Burleson. Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from and mix together fried rice with shrimp and veggies!!!!!

We stopped by for an unexpected late lunch. We have been there se real times before when we lived in the area. We ordered Beef Tataki as an appetizer, it was very well prepared and seasoned. Really delicious! We ordered a sashimi dinner, spicy tuna roll and crunchy chicken. Everything tasted and looked fresh. I really appreciate that the quality of the food and the service, is consistently good. They also are the only Japanese restaurant that have ice cream tempura in other flavors then the traditional vanilla. I had chocolate there before. This was the first time I tried strawberry. Both are very good.

The atmosphere was nice. The staff were great. Id give them 5 stars for that. The food...bland. I ordered the veggie and shrimp tempura. It was the only item I ate. The egg rolls were dry. For my main course, I ordered shrimp and crawfish fried rice. I did not like it at all. Soy sauce didnt even help it. It was flavorless. I wasted $50.

Great atmosphere, and good sushi. The waitress we had was phenomenal despite us showing up just an hour before closing time she was very patient and allowed us to stay past closing to finish our meal. The rolls were great. The rolls are on the smaller side which I actually prefer and they have some unique flavor choices. Overall a great place, with goof drinks and a fun atmosphere.

Looks can be deceiving as this place is quite intimate and relaxed inside. We ve been here many times as it s become our favorite sushi place with its freshness and quality every single time my wife, friends, family have been here. A diverse array of Japanese cuisine that tastes as good as described in a well thought menu. Honestly good food that satisfies me no matter what I order. Attentive and friendly staff from start to finish. I definitely recommended this place.

They charge 20% in my ticket, in a party 4 adults and 2 kids. I talk with the manager, he didn t care. The table was sticky and the place looks dirty.

I love this place. Me and my husband sat at the bar and enjoyed the spring rolls with tofu and 2 rolls (Burleson and California) . Our bartender was on top of it, even though I am sure we were the annoying drinkers. He was still sweet and very helpful recommending items from the menu. I wish I remembered his name but he is awesome!

Well, this is my 3rd Sushi Axiom restaurant (7th and Donnelly), unfortunately thats its ranking...3rd of the 3. I went for lunch shortly after they opened for lunch, I ordered the specialty box. The California roll was ok, my shrimp tempura was not very good. The shrimp was so small I couldnt taste it, and the tail piece revealed that the shrimp itself was cold and the crust was not crisp at all. It was as if it was cooked shrimp tempura from the day before. Beware of being the first to dine after a restaurant opens for the day, Im sure they shouldnt sell yesterdays food but you will likely never know. I was disappointed because my previous food experience with Sushi Axiom, (7th St.), was so phenomenal! Todays food was not fresh, perhaps because this restaurant was markedly slower than 7th St. On the plus side I love the building and ambience, spacious and great lightning. Oh well....did not satisfy my sushi fix...
