Ordered the chicken parm and it was the worst I have ever had, the so called marinara sauce looked and tasted like it came out of a can and the chicken was dry and not pounded down like it should be and the spaghetti was sticky and not cooked all the way. The wait staff appeared to be good. The rolls were awesome that is all I have to say but I was nice and paid and left

The drive is sooo worth it! We drove 2 hrs to visit my nephew and his family, they live right by another Italian restaurant that I thought we d go to and he said No Tia, there s another place we need to go to, it s a little further, but will be worth it! . He was not kidding! The soda drinks came out in HUGE glasses, then the free bread they bring out are very large portions and we got Richie s sauce which I highly recommend! The dinner salads then came out and were very large portions! We should have seen the common denominator of large portions and adjusted our orders but we didn t.. And holy toledo when our dishes arrived we all had mouth drops!! To go containers for everyone at the table! we all took desserts to go! For the price the trip was very worth it! You can t beat their food, their service, their portions and their prices!! We ll be back!

SUPER disappointed that they changed their calamari. It used to be my all time favorite calamari from anywhere. They completely changed it from a lightly fried, almost flakey batter to a super deep fried Captain Ds fast food, onion ring version. I picked it up and took it home and after I took one biye, threw the whole thing in the trash. Tell your staff to warn people when they order a menu item that youve completely changed. My husband called to ask if theyd changed their recipe and told them that it was no longer good, and the person was just like, well, sorry. I gave 3 stars because I like the other menu items Ive tried but I was extremely disappointed when I got home and opened it up to find a completely different recipe than expected. Unfortunately it was my main reason for going to Villa Diana so we probably wont be back very often anymore.

Dark, dingy, lacking in service, and the food is horrible. They ve had the same excuse for 3 yrs our whole kitchen staff quit, and we can t keep kitchen staff. They keep quitting . I only come here upon the request of others, otherwise I d have stopped coming 3 yrs ago. If you can t keep kitchen staff for that long, the problem is you. Before they lost their kitchen staff the food was pretty good. But, it hasn t been good in years.. I was recently there with several other people, and the server asked everyone for their checks back because the server messed up (their words not mine) everyone s checks. Of course they noticed it AFTER we paid for our food, which was made incorrectly twice. At that point we didn t care. We just wanted to leave. I had to ask for silverware 3 times. Had to ask for menus twice. Had to ask for a to go box 3 times. I ve held off doing a review for a very long time because I m a big supporter of family owned and operated businesses. I believe wholeheartedly in supporting your local small businesses. But after this many years getting the same excuse of why the food and service lacks, I decided to write a review in the hopes that they might see it and make the necessary corrections to improve.

If you have a big party dont bother. The manager was very rude said that none of the waitresses wanted to work a big party n then she says they wont separate the checks more then 5 times. Called back n she was even more rude n wouldnt even let us complain to the owner about her rudeness. Needless to say they our business of a party of 16 and any future business which most of us go there a lot or know those who do.update-- I guess owner doesnt care his manager ran off a big amount of money. Update-No one reached out to us to even make this right.

I ordered a lasagna n it was all flat no didnt taste good.i return it for a cesar salad n the salad had no shredded parmesan cheese. Forget it .la madeleine has yummy si Please cesar salad..also my husband food bad taste. Never again. The manager was rude .we should had not had to pay for anything. It was after church generation church that we went to eat..like it changed ownership or chef or they started buying cheap stuff.like the olive oil n garlic.tasted bad cheap oil.we went there like a yrs ago n it was very good. We had a very uncomfortable sun..but we learn.we should had not pay for nothing only the ice tea was good.oh n the calamares yucky. I am not a complainer, in all my 54 years, I have never felt the need to write a negative review about anything, until today. The food reminded me of a microwave dinner, the the lasagna noodles were hard and rubbery. My girlfriends meat sauce, tasted burnt, everything had an odd taste. The cook came out and took no responsibilty, actually told her she ordered her dish wrong. The experience reminded me of a Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares. Everything just tasted old and microwaved, for the price, we left very dissapointed.

I have no idea why this place doesnt have 5 stars! Friendly and attentive (but not intrusive). Interior is pleasant not too dark or interrogation bright. Prices are still SUPER reasonable, especially given our current economy. Oh my goodness GIANT portions and DELICIOUS! My 17 year old vacuum - I mean son was full after 1/2 of his meal eaten. I could only finish about 1/3. Homemade big soft rolls fresh baked. In a selfish way I thought about giving 1 so others wont come here and spoil it (maybe thats why its missing a star?) Its out on a county road and totally worth the drive * UPDATE * Still such an amazing and delicious place to dine. We have been back many, many times with friends as well. The portions are still gigantic and so yummy. ** UPDATE ** Jan 2024 ** Always the best service and delicious - generous servings! Villa Dianna has been a go-to place to take our large family for the last several years, even though the covid years. We love everything about the place. When you walk in, its a bit dark inside, but your eyes will quickly adjust and feel the romantic ambiance. The food is always well prepared, very large proportions, very reasonably priced and always good. Note that my wife is picky with meat and dont really care for their chicken. She really likes the eggplant and the pasta with pink sauce. They have great and large pizza. The owner and his family are almost always there, and they have an amazing staff. We go with as little us to or up to 20 plus, and the food is always hot and fast. We highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic night out or a family gathering. Either way, it is always exceptional. And they have some of the best custom cheesecakes.

Not my favorite place. Too much marinara sauce on EVERYTHING. The poor waitress was the only one on duty taking care of a party of 21 plus the rest of the tables. The food is actually bland. The bread was mediocre at best and really had no flavor. The spaghetti was undercooked and the chicken parm was soggy. We did manage one refill on drinks before the bill was delivered. Overall, the entire meal just wasnt good. The marinara has a sweet flavor to it that was a little surprising but it was everywhere...on everything...too much. Just too much. Ive been driving by this place for years now and they are always busy so I thought they would be good. I was wrong. I guess they are busy just because of the location since there is nothing else close until you get into Burleson. The value of the food would be in line with others but when the food is mediocre at best, it really isnt a good deal even to experiment with trying. In all honesty, Olive Garden is a few miles away and, as bad as they and their corporate food are, is a better choice. At least you get good bread sticks and a salad with your meal at Olive Garden. Chances of ever going back to Villa Diana are very slim. EDIT: Ive decided after my initial review to change my 3 stars to 1 just because of the ownership and their replies to, not just mine, but all reviews left that are under 4 stars. Theres nothing but defensive behavior with no sincere attention given to the issues. They are very arrogant in their replies instead of looking at what and where they could improve. They certainly dont like constructive criticism one little bit and try to make those who dont care for them out to be the villains. But, hey, they have their opinions and I definitely have mine. After their reply I most certainly wont be back nor will I recommend it to anyone-ever. Sorry, not sorry. EDIT 2: Rattled? Nope. Not in the least. Again with the arrogant and condescending attitude towards paying customers never ceases to amaze. Customer service is a lost art these days anyway. As a mom and pop operation you would think they would go out of their way for those paying the bills just to better compete with the corporate joints but that just isnt the case. At least the corporate places care enough to want contact without posturing. Im from Texas and I know what God bless means in this context. Who knew you could find such solid Italian food in Burleson? Place feels like a hidden gem. Dark and quiet inside, plenty of tables and booths. Servers were on top of it the entire night. Extensive menu with plenty of options. My wife and I split the tortellini bolognese and our table split a large pizza. The portions are *massive* and can easily feed 2. The tortellini was fantastic, perfectly cooked and the bolognese sauce was amazing, lighter pink ish in color and was full of flavor. Pizza was solid, crispy crust and undercarriage but it is extremely oily. Overall great experience.

Decided to try this place for the first time last night and will never return. Everything tasted extremely microwaved and in lack of flavor. Ordered calamari and the pasta combo SPECIAL. Calamari was fishy and very rubbery. Side salad was all core, 2 tomatoes, and 2 Peperoncinis. The special was not special and in fact a huge disappointment. Bread was scorching hot but was the only enjoyable thing.

My only reservation for never stopping in here was the darn lines. My Goodnes on friendship nights it seems like the line goes all the way to centennial. Okay so not quite that far but man it gets long So we just finished my boyfriend officiating the most beautiful wedding down the road. We were hungry and on a Saturdays night at 730ish pm the parking lot seemed empty. So we were hesitant for no good reason, over dressed (we just left a wedding) we parked and went in. The lights were very dim. Very very low. It was nice for me as I m dealing with a corneal ulcer and bright lights silently but painfully kill me. We were seated right away in the far back and since we were hungry to the next level we each picked the first thing on the menu that sounded like we love it and orders that. He chose the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and I choose the chicken Parmigiana. This included spaghetti too. A couple moments later we were each served a big hot fluggy Deliciousssssss roll. Boy could I have eaten my weight in those. But nonetheless I was given just one. Why? Wasn t offered more but I also didn t ask for more. Maybe because gluten s like me willl just eat me eat them till They realize they have lost all their profits for the day. When the food arrived, I will say for as empty as it was maybe 10 Customers , 5 total Tables out of over 100 taken, food took I d say no less than 25 minutes. But when it arrived the taste of everything was far beyond what we were expecting. We occasionally go to a different Italian restaurant a couple miles away on 1187 rendon crowley rd and this place put them to shame in every way except speed of service. I guess you get less than this level of greatness when you get it in under ten minutes but when you till you re pretty sure your insides are eating each other you get food thst tasted straight outta Italy. I ve never been to Italy but I d imagine the cooks thst served me have The Alfredo is my next plate. That sauce was to die for and I mean after eating part of mine and part of his too I felt like I was dying in a food coma. The portions were gigantic too. We he and I could probably ask for one more if the amazing rolls next time and share that Alfredo plate no doubt. He took some leftovers I took some of his and mine. And mine could have and did feed three more servings once home and we only paid under $30. That alone is worth clapping for these days. Goodnes. Thanks yall

Sweetest , kindest, respectful, and professional waitress. Very attentive to my 5-year-old grandson and made sure he got extra lemonade with his large lemonade. Have always heard great things about Villa Dianna for years so finally decided to try it. Was unfortunately disappointed all the way around. Salad was ok at best, just took a few bites and was done. Lasagna was good with a big portion. But the biggest disappointment was the tiramisu. This is my favorite dessert and hard to mess up. The tiramisu at Villa Dianna looks very nice and has a large portion. But its dry, lacks a coffee flavor and I didnt even eat a quarter of it. I will come back at least a few more times and will update my review accordingly. I always support locally owned and operated businesses. I hate my group was disappointed with the food as we were all really excited to try it! From what Ive had, there is much better Italian food at another locally owned restaurant.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Smelled amazing, friendly staff, feels warm and welcoming. Prices were about normal if not slightly cheaper than other Italian restaurants. We ordered the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti. The portion was huge, enough for two meals or to split. Chicken was soft enough to cut with a fork and very tender. Their marinara was not chunky with tomatoes and had a tasty herb flavor. Husband ordered the pasta trio and said it was great! Pasta was cooked well and very flavorful. The complementary bread was soft and fresh. Any extras will cost but it so worth it. We will definitely be back and bring the whole family.

I hate that I have to post this because we have been fans of this place for years. But we did a to go order earlier this week, Alfredo pasta and the vodka ziti pasta. I took a couple bites of the Alfredo pasta and it tasted so bad. The sauce definitely went bad. I ended up getting super sick about half an hour later. Great food. Reasonable price and HUGE portions! Fast service, piping hot and freshly made to order. Youre gonna need take out boxes for left overs and, probably, a nap when you get home. Pick up some dessert for later on your way out. We went back for round #2 today and thought wed each get a salad and an order of calamari to share. We brought home enough for lunch tomorrow! Dietary restrictions: Ok, if you need to mind your caloric intake, be READY to use some self discipline. Portions are huge yet nicely seasoned. Not over salted like some places. I did not enjoy the food. Yes they give you enough food in one plate for like 4 meals. But I would have rather had quality over quantity. The shrimp didnt taste very good, like it wasnt very fresh. The sauce tasted more like a soup rather than a sauce, I prefer it to be thicker. I ordered a side of sausage and it was very touch and smoother in a different sauce than what came with my shrimp so that wasnt cool, it shouldnt have had any sauce on it. The garlic bread was not very good either. It was hard as a rock on the ends. The only good thing I can say is that the meal was spicy as they say it is. I will not be coming back tho.

Wonderful Italian food is very authentic and has nice portions. The salad was just lettuce and a few tomato slices, no ham egg or onion. But It had a great house dressing. The 5 stars are for the main meal, I had the lobster and shrimp ravioli, and the meal was outstanding, I couldnt eat it all, so I took enough for lunch home. Our waitress was very attentive, and even though we arrived about 30 minutes before closing, they were very accommodating
