Ordered 2 six finger plates and asked for 4 EXTRA zax sauce. With the 2 that come with each plate, thats 8 total. Got home and found a bag with three in it. Not too bad until I opened the plates and found 0 in them. 3 out of 8 sauces, so 2 out of 5 stars. Even thats only because the chicken was juicy. Still irrationally angry about my sauce, though.

Horrible customer service, was waiting in line for 10 minutes with one person ahead of me and waited another 10 minutes for my food, the person gave the person ahead of me 4 free strips for them for the inconvenience but then when I asked for the same she gave me some excuse to not give them to me.

Food was good. I had the Cobb salad and my daughter had chicken fingers. Had an issue with customer service. I watched Cody as he helped another customer in front of me. I couldn t believe his rudeness and lack of ability to simply be kind. Then it was my turn. Lord, I guess I should have known how it would go but somehow I was appauled! He was certainly very rude to me too. Zaxby s needs to have a talk with Cody!

Love the place but prices are too high for what is served. Tasted good and the employees were very helpful at this location. I might go again but I was disappointed to find another chicken restaurant in the south that did no offer gravy. White cream gravy is a southern staple with chicken. Hard to want to eat here again if a major chain can not include a side of gravy. The local franchise has a nice building and design inside too. Wheelchair accessibility: Facility is handicap accessible for parking and ramps, but the outside doors are not. They do not make it easy for a wheelchair user to get through. No push buttons or wide enough space to turn around in larger wheelchairs.

So Ive been at this location a few times. I stopped coming here for a reason and I recently went and I realized again why I stopped coming here. The service here is not great honestly I dont know whats going on with the people that work there or what but they dont have great customer service. The food there is mediocre and not always fresh but when you do get it fresh it still doesnt taste as good as it could. I recently went through the drive-thru and asked her for a large root beer light ice to which they said when I got my drink and I realized it had all this ice in it I asked if they could put less ice in it and she said that its because the ice floated to the top and I said thats not how that works but okay and I didnt want to argue so I just drove off. The price is honestly I feel like not entirely reasonable The meals are pretty expensive overall theyve had multiple times where its left me bad taste in my mouth and I think from now on Im just not going to come to this spot.

Cashier was super rude and slow. Could barely hear her. Their drink machine was done. I waited in line for a refill for almost 10 minutes. Only one person in front of me. They ended up skipping me and helping the guy behind me. The cashier was trying to ignore me and it wasn t until her manager told her to help me that she came by. I have no idea what her deal was. Also doesn t help that the prices on their menu are wrong.

If you had canes this is 10x time better plus the variety the employees are very communicative and help you out if you live in Austin I promise you its worth the drive not to mention those loaded fries were A1 delicious you will not regret it but will regret if you keep eating at canes and dont come here and try it for yourself you will make that drive I promise you! Their chicken salad is truly the best!!! We are from Arizona; where there is no Zaxbys, so anytime we travel and we see one, its pretty much a done deal! We dont even need to think about it. The salad is always fresh, and the chicken is delicious. I cant say anything else about the other food because I tried the chicken salad once while visiting my mom in Georgia and didnt need anything else.

Their self-serve Drink Machine is obviously not maintained and cleaned properly because it sprayed syrup all over my clothes. My daughter who was with me works at a restaurant and said that it was clear that theyre not cleaning it so I would probably avoid this place again altogether because if they cant clean or maintain their soda machine who knows what they do in their kitchen. I tried to address the issue with the so-called manager on duty. Apparently this wasnt the real manager and this person refused to give me the managers full name so that I could contact this person when they return from vacation in the event that my expensive custom shirt was permanently damaged. During our conversation she admitted knowing that this machine would spray syrup out which I find even more concerning because they clearly dont care to clean it or maintain it if they knew the problem exists. This person obviously was not a manager of any kind and if they are they shouldnt be, let alone be representing this company. I certainly hope the owner of this franchise sees my review because as you could observe Im not a low-level reviewer and I dont leave bad reviews that arent deserved. Its a shame because the food is excellent however I will never go to this location again out of fear of getting sick and knowing that if theres any kind of issue employees treat you terribly.

Are first time in we heard lots of good things about this place well we will never be back you send out coupons and we were told that we could only use one per visit I was like whatttt. When you get a beverage you get and you have to get a full cup of ice because the beverage machine only serves hot pop and the mix isnt right had to get are beverages from the counter no ketchup and the chicken n fries were cold and I got a salad that was hot hmmmm kinda backwards needless to say we wont be back wasnt very expressed with anything with this place so thanks

Tried Zaxbys for the first time today. The menu was a bit overwhelming. Two young ladies, Natalie and Alicia, took the time to break it down for us and gave great recommendations. we ordered a number 1, a #3, and a Philly sandwich. Gia even brought everyones food out to their tables. The chicken was delightfully juicy. The wings were tangy, and the frys were crisp, add theyre zax sauce, and you wont stop at just one. The sandwich was different but a must try. Overall the food was good but the service was great!

Ok.... but slow. Tenders were tiny compared to competitors. Drink tower is a Freestyle but didnt taste like it was balanced right. Excellent value for chicken tenders. Get for a family of three the family pack of tenders is more than enough, it likely feeds 4-5, but is an unbeatable deal for below $40. Comes with everything an individual plate would come with and I order extra sauces for more variety. Fantastic service! The manager on duty was on point the day we came by. Super friendly, patient with my little girls, and the food was perfect - super moist chicken and just the right amount of breading. My kids dropped a drink and made a mess - I tried to clean it myself but the manager came over to clean it and laughed about his kids being messy as well. Really great service at a time when thats hard to come by. Will definitely visit again! Kid-friendliness: Cheap kid menu with a good variety of options - my daughter loves grilled cheese sandwiches!

Food is amazing - Aside from the fried cheddar not being cooked all the way through* Fingers were perfect! Even the Coke tasted better than average. Customer service is not good I forgot dipping sauces and asked for them at the window - there was some confusion on my part about how may sauces they offered (I asked for one of each *eyeroll* haha) So I apologized and ask for three of the flavors that stuck out to me. After paying 75 cents for the three sauces - I drove off without checking my food - they didnt get my original order right and gave me sauces I didnt ask for. I didnt go back bc the cashier made me a little uncomfortable - seemed to be annoyed that I was confused about the amount of sauces. . . They had someone else come to the window to finish up our transaction. Its sauces - not that big of a deal - but the lack of quality in the customer service makes me question if I ll be back.

We tried zaxbys for the first time in Buda. We were disappointed with our experience. It was very cold in the lobby upon arrival. The ice machine was out of order. The floor was wet and slippery with no wet floor sign in sight. We ordered it Togo due to the temperature in the lobby. Our order came out only to notice grease and sauce spilled out of the containers in to the bag covering our condiments in mess. We were not given napkins or utensils. The fried pickles were hard and greasy. Wont be back.

This place is hit or miss. Usually the service is amazing. The past few times I have gone, they have not given me items that I have ordered. My kids wanted Zaxbys so I trekked on down to Buda to go get it. I had both of their orders. I wanted large drinks with no ice with both and had ordered a cookie. I pull in and they have two young girls working a podium outside the speaker. They took my order. I pull up to the window. The young lady working the window was friendly. She mentioned she was in training. She repeated my order to me and then hands me the order. I did not think to double check the order. I did notice when they handed me my drinks, they have me one medium and one large. I explained I wanted both large. As I pulled away, I did notice they did not even add the cookie to my order. The food was hot and was given to me quite quickly. If the young lady at the window is going to repeat my order, she should make SURE I have everything in the bag. I should have double checked it myself, but was giving them the benefit of the doubt. Little did I know, I would be shorted a cookie and not given the right drink. I was not going to drive back to Buda for a .99 cookie. It seems that every time I come to this place, there is always someone new at the drive thru. I am not sure it is because they can not keep good staff or there is high turn over. Whatever the issue is, the need to nip it in the bud quickly because the service has been lackluster for quite some time.

I used to love Zaxbys, but I havent eaten there since I moved to Texas. Disappointed. Maybe inflation. Maybe avian flu. But the chicken tenders were about 40% of the size they were two years ago. I paid $11 for a plate of four nuggets, cold fries, and a coleslaw that has an odd tang to its aftertaste. Im from SC. I know coleslaw; it aint my taste buds. Oh, the toast was okay. This store has always been one of the cleaner stores in the area. The staff is friendly, clean and attractive. The management is top shelf and very attentive. We were helped by Jacqueline. Ive gone several times and they always forget something. I dont want to drive back once I am home. I called to tell them to refund me and they left me on hold the first time for 9 min while they got the manager. The manager never picked up the phone. I called back and waited another 7 min before getting the manager. The manager finally came on and told me he could not refund me, that I would need to come get the food or bring in receipt to get refund. This whole process I was on hold for 26 min while he tried to figure out if he could refund me over the phone. Needless to say I have to go in for the refund. Yesenia and her staff went above and beyond for a big order that I had for our company. I can t thank her enough for her patience and understanding and willingness to help me. Yesenia was extremely professional and helpful and did it with grace and a smile the whole time. Zaksby s really needs to implement a tipping system for big orders especially catering orders to show appreciation for these employees that go the extra mile.

I ordered 2 salads in the drive thru and sat and waited and was asked to pull ahead to wait. It took them over 15 minutes for 2 grilled chicken salads mind you they got 4 orders out in the time it took them to make my food this place is a joke Update gave place second shot jesus its over 80 in there lobby and other customers say that is how it always is

Joe and the team there was a breath of fresh air after a horrible experience at another establishment down the street. He and his team were very attentive we came in to no one inside but were greeted and helped quickly. Then a rush of customers came in, the workers there did not miss a beat they took care of everyone inside while keeping there busy drive thru flowing. Food was hot and fresh we enjoyed it. Thanks

Went to zaxbys Yesterday (5/27) and today (5/28) both times ordered a 5 finger plate. one online one in drive thru and both times they only gave me 4 chicken fingers. wouldn t normally care but when you buy a 5 finger is obviously because a 4 finger isn t enough. Tried to call both time to say something and they never answered the phone.

The more egregious part is that the meal was $15 and the fingers were very small. A 4 piece chic fila has more food than a 6 piece here. However, the quality of the meat here was very good.

Just went to Zaxbys in Buda when we pulled up to the drive through at 9:53 they told us sorry we just took our last order for the night. My husband said what? And she said it again. Hate this restaraunt. Online is horrible with a thousands cinfirmations only to have errors occur. I will NEVER be back to Zaxbys. Bad business with expensive subpar tenders & practically no side item options.
