First time! Parking lot was packed. I was nervous about a wait but we didnt have to wait long at all for a party of 5. The food was amazing! The second we sat down, our server Jillian went over everything with us. She was really nice, helpful, and on the ball! She was half the experience! The food came out so fast and fresh. Its new so it was busy BUT the food was wonderful! Deciding what to try was a little tougher than another all you can eat sushi place that has pictures of most of their sushi. Thats the only thing I wish they would add to the menu. We tired the deep fried Oreos and the deep fried cheesecake. They were a little chewy so not exactly my cup of tea but still a nice treat to have as a dessert option. Will try again maybe after they slow down a bit.

Went here first weekend after opening to celebrate my son s birthday. We were seated quickly and drink order was taken along with food order as normal. They brought out the food little by little so none of us enjoyed the meal together. After over an hour of waiting on 3 sushi rolls we cancelled our order. As soon as we did that the food was being brought out. Management explained they didn t know how to use their ticketing system and when they realized it was messed up they lost our order. The server seemed nice but clueless never checking on our food, or if she did she didn t communicate it to us. She also never came to provide the table refills. Then the manager told us we could keep our food since it came out. To make it more frustrating the server just asked for my debit card prior to bringing the bill. She brought back the slip that only had the total and right away I knew that it was to high. I had to go track her down and request a print out of the order where they did accidentally leave one of the sushi orders on the bill. I showed the server and then she argued with me that I was given the food and so I should just pay for it. I told her the manager had told me he would remove it then she told me that she wasn t able to remove it I then had to say can you ask the manager. She was friendly but didn t seem she understood her job. The manager came by and removed it and again was super friendly apologized for the poor experience. They did sing happy birthday to my son but honestly at that point we still hadn t received our orders and were really annoyed and hungry.

the decor is so pretty!! lots of wooden elements and lights. the all you can eat menu was a full sized selection, the attached image is JUST the all you can eat half of the menu. if you love mango sushi you have to get the i-10 roll, first mango roll Ive had that was ripe and absolutely full of all the good ingredients. skip on the lucky budha roll tho, very mild jalapeño flavor. the little tokyo roll was the biggest we got and also really good. Our server, Byrd, was very knowledgeable, polite, and on-the-ball! He was a professional in a sea of sophomoric waiters in Beaumont. We went in hungry, so we both went for the all you can eat for $20.95 each. We tried 7 rolls and I couldn t have been more impressed with the lunch selection and quality of each roll. We tried the 225, Bon Temps, Little Tokyo, the Red Dragon, Baby Tiger, I-10, and the Snow Crab rolls. All were amazingly fresh and made to perfection. First visit at Sushi Masa and BEYOND worth it! Prices are great, whether it be the all you can eat or ordering a regular meal. Rolls that are called half orders are bigger than any other restaurant s full orders. I highly recommend the snow crab roll and the 225 roll. Plenty of cooked rolls so no worries if you can t get with eating it raw. Nothing but smiles out of the staff. They re all great but a special shoutout to Byrd! He went above and beyond. Im telling you, the food here is unbelievable and the service is perfect. Our bartenders name was Tommy, and the man puts every other mixologist back in first grade!!! The sushi is made as soon as you order, and there clear soup is was divine. I enjoyed the conversation very much. Tommy is confident in his abilities, and rightfully so. Delicious foods, addictive drinks, and overall, an extremely enjoyable experience all the way around. Come see them down here, its definitely worth it! Had lunch here last week and was so excited to try this place, it was a complete let down! Hopefully it was just a bad day in the kitchen but the hibachi chicken was horrible, the noodles just as bad.. sour tasting. The tuna was good, and appetizers were good. I did expect a better menu for the buffet, the regular menu is big but not the buffet menu. The fried cheesecake was fantastic! We got two sushi rolls and a sushi combo, all of which were on par with something I could get at a gas station or at HEB. The shrimp fried rice was alright. Below average experience. Went with my girlfriend and there was a line at 6:40pm (not a problem). Wait would be 30 minutes but we were able to sit at the bar immediately and get service. Obviously the restaurant was busy, but there were significant inconsistencies in when the food would be served. we both ordered the all you can eat option. My girlfriend got her first dish (avocado roll) at 7:25pm. My dishes did come quicker but there was again about a 10-15 minute wait per ordering period. One of my dishes (chicken katsu) did not arrive at all. Overall food was mid. Other than the wait, service was attentive. I recommend that if you want an All You Can Eat experience you go to YUKA in Port Arthur. Food quality is higher and they have a good system in place between orders coming in and food going out.

This is a great addition to the area, and the food was worth going for, but the service needs a lot of work. I ate at the bar and went unnoticed for almost 10 minutes with dirty plates in front of me from the last customers. My husband and I decided to eat here for a Friday night date and everything was amazing. We couldnt stop raving about the quality of the food and staff. Seating was also comfortable. Went as soon. As they opened. Seated quickly. Service was amazing. We got the dinner all you can eat which is about $33 per adult. All the fish tasted fresh! Megan was our server and she s fantastic! We went for lunch on a Saturday and ordered from the dinner AYCE. They were very busy but did a great job. We only waited about 15 minutes for a table. Our waitress was super friendly and even remembered us from a previous job she worked. The kitchen was running a little slow but again they were really busy so that is to be expected. The food was extremely good and great quality. I love the way they added little details when plating the food. We definitely will be back.

Very disorganized restaurant. Upon arrival, the counter was full of employees hanging around the counter looking at their iPads. It took more than 5 minutes for one to acknowledge that we were waiting to be seated. We ordered the Dragon roll and it had a good taste, however, the eel was full of spines. I ordered the Steak Udon and waited 45 minutes for this cooked to order plate that tasted like a microwave TV dinner.

Went to Sushi Masa Beaumont by myself on opening day. They just opened and werent that busy and I was the 7th in line. It was my turn and the guy at the desk asked me how many I said 1. He looked at me and said you want the bar? I said I prefer a booth, I wont be long. He then looked at his tablet. Then he looked up and looked at the family behind me and asked how many. The family told him I was first and he didnt say anything so I told them they can go ahead since they have little ones. After he got them in he ignored me and got the next family (they still werent that busy yet) I said excuse me and he ignored me so I walked up to the desk and stood there waiting till he was done with them so Im next. Then the guy ignored me while I was directly in front of him and tried to get the next guest that literally just walked in... I said excuse me, you passed me up twice now this is not fair. He then gave me this mean look and said ok. Whats your number whats your name? I gave him my info and he said ok and he looked at the next guest and said next out loud in front of me... How rude. I was very nice and let him take the other tables and didnt make a fuss. They werent even that busy... So what? Going by myself Im not important? Anyways, besides that bad seating experience I had a very good server, her name is Cynthia and she was wonderful. The food was ok. Very bland barely any taste to it. I will give it one more try and if its still bland and I have that experience again Im definitely going to not recommend this to anyone.

This is the first time I have been to an all you can eat restaurant and given a list of rules when I sit down. Like if you order something and leave more than half of it un eaten you will be charged extra. We decided to just order ala carte. The sushi was very basic, and very little flavor. We asked for a roll but asked that they leave off the cucumber and was told there would be an extra charge. We were so excited to try this place and left very disappointed. I will say the staff was very nice and the manager did not charge us for the 2 bites of sushi we actually ate and we did appreciate that. I think we will stick to Yuka Sushi in Port Arthur. We have never been charged an excess fee there and the quality is much better.
