I go to this location frequently, this time it was crowded and we sat at the bar, the service could have been a lot better, when my food came I told the waitress that I was supposed to have honey Chipotle chicken but it was plain, she replied it is they just put the sauce on the side (never has it came this way before) then when I received the side of sauce it was awful and I was glad it wasnt on the chicken Update Went yet again, ordered an app and after waiting a really long time we asked if about it they said let me check, I told my daughter they would come back with it and surprise it was finally ready but unfortunately also cold so we sent it back, wait times were bad and it wasnt crowded either. When it came time to pay I had something happen that has never happened to me before, they came with the bill but at the table they realized a mistake (didnt take app off) then manager comes to table and ask who was paying I responded so she told me they had a split screen and had our table and the one next to us on the same ticket so they split it out , one thing for sure, they didnt over charge us.

Today was the first day of a reset and new menu. The potato soup was delicious, fresh, and no longer too salty to eat. The $10 lunch is a great deal and you can add a mini lava molten cake for a few bucks. Went at my end request did his birthday lunch. I hit the three for $10, potato soup, old timer burger, and the fries. The soup was great, the old timer burger was phenomenal ordered as they come, no subs. The meat was delicious and crispy on the edges, the bun toasted crunchy but soft. It was amazing. The fries mid. My son got the bacon rancher and it was huge but nearly $20 for one burger and no one needs a burger that big but he said it was delicious.

My family and I were on a trip from Austin to Louisiana to visit family. We stopped at this Chilis location at Baytown, Texas. The food was great, and the service was amazing! Our server, Keesha, was so polite, kind, and had a bright personality! On our way back from the family vacation in Louisiana, we stopped again just to the Chilis of Baytown, Texas just because of the people, Keesha, and the environment. I would highly recommend this Chilis at this location for any occasion. Parking: Lots of space in the parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu options.

Service was okay but not great. Most food items came out hot and fresh. The Texas fries came out with ranch drizzled on the side when we ordered no ranch. Fries also looked old as if sitting in the kitchen window for 10 minutes. Not bad but not great. Better off skipping this location. I won t be back, ever.

This place harbors criminals. Robbed in broad daylight while eating lunch. Car parked in front of doors and no one seen car break in. No cameras outside. This has become a common practice at this establishment. Would not recommend. I am happy to announce, that after going through the process of writing a negative review. The Chillis representative has acknowledged that this store is high on crime and there is nothing they can do. Cameras outside an establishment is a false sense of security and does not WORK according to the representative. In a nut shell, DINE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I am updating my experience and increasing my rating from an older review made several years ago. My family and I have eaten at this location for many years. My wife and I yesterday visited this Chilis location for a lunch date. Due to personal budgeting needs, we do not eat out at restaurants nearly as often as we used to. My wife is disabled and dependent upon the use of a powered wheelchair. The hostess/greeter saw us entering the vestibule and was quick to open one of the inner doors for my wife. She also knew to lead us to a table closest to the entrance, sparing my wife from having to unnecessarily weave her large wheelchair through the congested dining room. Despite the table being built for six, the staff had no qualms in giving it to the two of us as it was best configured to accommodate my wifes wheelchair (as she cannot safely be transferred into a booth or upon the open dining room chairs). My wife was nicely accommodated in a manner that did not draw undue attention or embarrassment but permitted her to easily eat from the table while remaining seated in her wheelchair. One server, Jackie, recognized us from a previous visit made (I think) last year. She greeted us warmly and remembered details of my wifes order preferences. She was kind and attentive to us as well as other customers seated nearby. Her approach and familiarity with us presented a sense of community that we appreciated. Our food was cooked to order and all went as expected. We were very pleased with our experience and plan to return in the near future. Wheelchair accessibility: See my main review for details.

Update 4/20/25: picked up a to-go order and I should have checked it because they forgot the loaded mashed potatoes. Every time I go to Chilis something is wrong with my order. :( Previous Review: I placed an order using the app and immediately called since theres no place on the app to put any comments and talked to a gentleman in the to-go area to tell him I did not want any chives / onions in my baked potato soup. He said they had not made it yet so he will make sure theres no onions in there. Boyfriend picks up the order and I open it up and its full of chives. Also I ask for a bowl and I received what looks like a tiny cup. Very disappointed! Happened on 2/7/24 around 8pm.

After a horrible experience at Salt Grass waiting 30 minutes with not even a glass of water and walking out we went to Chilies where the staff and service was excellent. The waitress was quick and super friendly, the manager came by twice to make sure we had everything we needed. The entreat was working as one and providing excellent service. Are waitress was awesome. He was very attentive and respectful. I give him a A++++. It s our second time at this location and I can say the worse experience with Liz and Rachel. Literally Liz doesn t have great representation when serving food. She threw out plates on the table and didn t care, but some guys sat next to us and she is the nicest person like did we have to be men to get good service? If she doesn t like helping other waitresses then don t bother to bring the food out. When it was a dress to Rachel she didn t care and said she would talk to her and rolled her eyes. I came here yesterday and had a triple dipper, only to find that I had a small metal rod in my food. I probably should have taken the photo of it in my food before I took it out, but I thought it was a piece of plastic. I had my 2 year old son with me and I was extremely frustrated at the lack of empathy and overall customer service provided to me by the MANAGER at the time. The entire situtation was rushed, she hardly let me talk when she first came out, and I didnt feel valued not only as a customer, but as a person first. I feel as if she was only concerned about the bill and telling me that she would take care of the triple dipper and remove it as if that solves the situation. I would have really appreciated an actual apology and for her to take more than 30 seconds of her time to come out and talk to me. My son could have gotten seriously hurt and she said the best case scenario happened i.e. me grabbing the metal off of my food before we could have eaten it. The best case scenario for me, personally, would be not having any metal in my families food!! We, as a people, work hard for our money and should NOT have to worry about hazerdous debris in our food and it only makes it worse when the manager of the establishment has ZERO empathy and rushes the entire situation. My server actually spoke to me like a human and I felt he actually cared. Im sorry I dont remember his name but I really respected him. My visit yesterday, 07/09/23 around 4pm was extremely dis-heartening. I will tell everyone I know about this experience and treatement and I initially felt inclined to reach out to a GM or maybe even corportate due to how bad I felt after.

We sat for 10 minutes and no one would take our order them mu hubby went to check and they said we only serve on specific tables you need to come in the central area. We moved and waited again and they asked us to move again!!!!! We had one waiter, the rudest one ever african American male with earings and short hair. Check your cameras and you will see it. Finally, We had a nice young lady with braids and glasses who waited on us, the food was delicious. But the wait time and that rude waiter would prevent us from going to this place again. Ps. I am muslim women and I was the only woman wearing Hijab in the store and the moment this waiter saw me entering he made a disgusting face and I thought it was his regular face until I saw the way he treated me. Food portions have gotten smaller and smaller. The chicken tenders are now like baby tenders, they dont even give you a full tender like they used to. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Oh.. And the salads will ALWAYS be given to you old. We gave up after our 4th time getting old brown salad. Nasty..

As always, Chilis, hate em or love em. We always get the same great food and service no matter what city or state we are in. Not high end, just comfortable where they are. Easy and fast. Fajitas with beef, chicken and shrimp is perfect to share, and still have leftovers.

We ordered takeout and the steak was like rlly hard? I could hardly even bite into it. The side salad we got was horrible, the lettuce looked like it had gone bad? How do you just give ppl bad lettuce? They also got our order wrong too. I do not like broccoli.
