A1! Got the chicken shawarma over rice and beef gyro. Both were so good! Hot & fresh. Pretty good portion size as well! I ll be eating it for the next 2 days! Austin deep cut for sure! Parking: Availability depends on what time you go. We were there around 1230a and got a spot right in front of the truck, but not many options to park as is. It s a food truck kind of embedded in the row of buildings and I didn t see a sitting area. It is paid parking. from order to pickup was about 10 minutes do with that what you will. You can also order ahead and pickup.

Was visiting Austin Downtown and before returning to Houston, we went there to have dinner. Best thing is it is halal. I didnt see any parking, so we parked at street near the food truck. We ordered Falafel and Beef over rice. The food was actually weird, not the normal kind we eat. The rice had a biriyani flavor rather than normal yellow rice which comes with beef gyro. They also provide south asian Achari pickles with the food. Not saying its bad, just weird. Falafel was a bit too dry though.

It was 2:15 am on a Saturday. Rather than slog through the Whataburger line on S 1st, I checked this place out. Right as I walked up to the window the owner handed me a hot plate of food as if he knew I was coming! Lamb, special rice, vegetables and pita bread. Unbeatable at this hour. Tried this place a couple times after I noticed it parked near by. The food was delicious. Falafel was so crunchy and flavor-filled. Chicken and beef shawarma was good and covered in spicy sauce. I would request a little more lettuce on the shawarma. The prices are a bit high, but worth it.

I ordered the chicken shawarma dish; however, I received the beef shawarma dish. Upon receiving this incorrect order, I called the restaurant, but to no avail. The cook/food truck chef was rude and did not offer any concessions. I am extremely disappointed and this was an unfortunate waste of money. The staff is very nice! I ordered a gyro over rice and the boss wasn t around with the card reader but the guy on the truck took my $10 for the food. The boss showed up with the card reader but he insisted I enjoy the meal. I even got some cash from a nearby atm to pay them back but he still insisted i kept the cash. C Boys is one of the best clubs in the nation (little known fact, Jack Black s favorite club in the nation - specifically the Jade Room), it s only be fitting that it have one of the best Halal food stands inside. Can t go wrong with the beef gyro; they may run light on the chicken late; but some like it hot and if you do all you have to do is agree when he asks or ask him to make the rice special and you will not be disappointed. I love spicy food but didn t feel like my hiccuping being mistaken for the wrong reasons and told him so; he made that rice as perfect as it gets; just hot enough to keep your eating till it s gone, and plenty full once it is. Five stars easy.

They really hook you up with a lot of great food food for a fair price. Since finding this place, I ve been twice in the last week and a half. Thankfully we weren t charged for the falafel because it was very dry. The beef gyro wrap looked/tasted like dry ground beef and didn t taste like there was any lamb. French fries had good seasoning, but were super greasy and soggy. The white sauce was good thankfully since most of the food was dry. I went here because of the good reviews though weary since it s at a bar. Those people were definitely drunk. I was not. The guy was really nice and I m hoping for his sake this was just a random bad day. If not, it s at a bar and drunk people will eat anything and think it s the best thing ever

Amazing and quick experience. He took care of us and the portions on the 2 person combo could really be a three person one so it s a major win. 10/10 plus their open til 3am. Come to C-Boys for the vibe and the halal after.

Saag runs an amazing setup. Not only is he the nicest guy around but hes an absolute master of his craft, everything on the menu is spectacular. Halal Yall never fails. Not to mention the fact that its got a killer atmosphere. Located on the patio of one of the best live music joints in the city, CBoys Heart and Soul. You could be enjoying the best Halal in town sitting next to Gary Clark Jr. or Shakey Graves while watching Jimmy Vaughn tear it up on stage. I 100% recomend you give it a go, you will not be disapointed.

A couple months back, I gave the guy a bit of a hard time because he charged me more than the price listed on the old menus they had inside the club (sorry about that!). He put up with my BS and told me next time Ill hook you up. Last night, idk if he remembered and purposefully put extra meat in my gyro, or if hes just always that generous, but DAMN that gyro hit the spot between bands as the clock approached midnight. Great food, great dude. Do yourself a favor and grab some food the next time youre out at cboys, or if you just happen to be walking past on South Congress.
