Can I just say that my waitress, Ariana had the most immaculate service Ive experienced in Austin. I really enjoyed my time here but coming down to the lobby and continuously seeing her made our stay so joyful for us. Will be coming here for now on when traveling. Pretty Latina!

Great atmosphere and service. My wife and I snuck down to the Lobbyist one evening and grabbed a couple of drinks. The waiter helped me with a bourbon drink selection, also gave some additional advice on other drinks choices. Great vibe and seat choices; you can sit at the bar or at high-tops as well as chairs with cocktail tables.

Ordered one shot of Blanton s Bourbon. $64.95 was the bill. I didn t ask prior, and the bar tender gave me no warning. What a complete rip-off!

Im not sure why the Lobbyist has so few reviews. I saw this bar when I was on my way to Zanzibar and thought, I should make sure I stop in here! The liquor selection is fantastic, they have a decent amount of options and enough bartenders its basically one bar staff per guest. Edward was my bartender, the cocktail list was light, but they were more than willing to go off menu. I ordered a gin fizz, which despite being Edwards first gin fizz he made it on point. If youre looking for a decent bar, this is worth the pop in. The service is on point and the selection is available.
