It is a very nice park to hang out and enjoy a stroll along the lake. Theres a well-made dock that is the perfect spot to wet a line. My grandson and I tossed a couple of lines out to see if we could entice any bites and we managed to land a couple of channel cats. It is a good place to walk dogs, and there are picnic tables to sit, relax, and take in the view.

Wonderful lake side park. There are tables to sit for eating or just enjoy the area. Every time I went, it is quiet. There is a trail to walk. A pier to fish. Dog-friendliness: Dogs need to be leashed. Picnic area: Several tables spread throughout the area to give space.

Great place for leisure kayaking. Beautiful wildlife and ecology. There is a dock, but not a boat ramp, so be prepared to carry your kayak about 200 feet. The park has a few BBQ pits and is nicely shaded.

Nice little park next to the lake: it s great for kayaking, fishing or just watching the water. Street parking only, but who cares? Park slopes down to water: excellent place to launch a canoe or kayak. I just went out in mine from there today!

A quiet and private area. Not for swimming though. Close to sidewalks in the neighborhood. Picnic area: The lawn is well manicured. You could easily have a med/large gathering here. I saw people actively catching catfish. A scenic backdrop for photos.

Small community park. No amenities but great for a picnic or to fish. Steet parking only unfortunately, exasperated by folks parking on both sides of the street and drivers who seem to be in a big hurry - no doubt trying to bypass FM 1960/W. Lake Houston Pkwy.

Cute little lake with a small park. Its a residential park (meaning looks like its meant for and maintained by the residents) so not really a public attraction and as such no real parking. Its still fairly serene. If I lived there I would be there everyday.

One of those places that give you peace...in addition to being beautiful, it is extremely enjoyable for various activities...picnic, sedentary lifestyle...cycling...sailing...there are so many activities that will undoubtedly make you come back like I did in this one. occasion we came to take photographs that by the way turned out incredible!

Theres always birds to watch and fish to catch. People of all ages come out to bike, walk, fly a drone, RC boats, and frisbee. Pretty much what any family would want in a park is here. I spent 3 hours there just sitting today.

Great outdoor area to meet with the fam! They have posted grills and a new dock if you brought a boat. Definitely bring your own activities and necessities. Trashcans are also posted so pick up after yourself.

This park is obviously by the lake, .. and its great for photography.in fact my wife is a professional photographer was testing out a few new Nikon lenses. While she was snapping pictures of the birds across the lake, there were 3 other photo shoots going on at the same time. Its a wonderful place because the lake and trees make a perfect background for photography. Im sure you could manage to have a picnic at the many tables around the park. Its a really nice park. ... Take a walk .. bring your camera.

They need to empty the trash cans more frequently. Raccoons tear them apart. There s also no parking- so you will have to park in the street. Be careful when getting out of your car. People like to take off fast from the stop sign, I ve almost been hit multiple times.
