Was craving pozole. Place was quiet outside and inside. I thought it may not be open. It was a walk up to counter and order your food type restaurant. But the cashier did bring my meal to the table. I really liked their freshly fried tostadas accompanying my meal. My red pozole could have been warmer. It was room temp, while the green was nice and hot (temperature). Red pozole just tasted like canned enchilada sauce. Service was good.

Our favorite taqueria in north Arlington. Glad to see its open consistently now since their reopening a while back. The street tacos and enchiladas are excellent. My wife really likes the menudo. Terrific salsa verde too. Employees are very friendly.

I have about ten percent on my phone but I needed to write this immediately. Ordering food here was a completely dreadful experience. After deciding on what I wanted and waiting several minutes to place my order, I was told that what I wanted was no longer available despite being on the menu. This place was not busy at all except for a couple of tables and the staff could have used some spare time to make a note anywhere, like maybe on the menu, that the rancheros deluxe was no longer an item they were offering. Since I wasted so much time and saw how grueling it was to place an order, I decided I would rather go elsewhere than to try to find something else I might enjoy on the menu and to not give this place any business, since they do not deserve it

Tried to charge us over $62 for two adults and a child and then Make us pay for it and not tell us what she charged us for. Come to find out she doubled charged us. Then say that she couldn t show us unless we pay first. Claimed she didn t speak English. This was bad for a business to make Money. I don t recommend this place. Missing items on my order, the food is bleh. Truly love this place when my husband first turned me on I fell in love then when I went back, they were closed down well today while on my lunch break I seen that they were open hurried up went in. Ordered our food. Oh my God it s a 10 out of 10 I love this place the atmosphere the food is clean and they also allow your service dog to come in and they re very friendly to this place. You have to go eat there. It s really a family environment. Had tried this place a while back. Wasnt impressed. But this go around my friend was wanting to go here. Of course I was hesitant but I agreed to what she wanted. So we both ordered an enchilada plate and asked for an extra cheese enchilada separately. Not once did the lady ever explain to us at the counter that we couldnt ask for elan extra enchilada. So we get our order. Her plate enchiladas were correct mine on the other hand were only cheese, and I had ordered a beef enchilada plate. Nor did we get our extra cheese enchilada we both ordered separately. Mind you I was charged for all the extras. Yet when I brought it up that our order was incorrect. She tells me she had already explained at the counter that we couldnt add extras. And that they could not mix different type of enchiladas on the plate. I told her I ordered a beef enchilada plate, I didnt want any thing extra, just a separate cheese enchilada. I wasnt making alterations to my plate. She refused to correct my order, or make it right at least. I paid $38 with decent tip, to get the most unprofessional service. I was in shock how she spoke to us. I told her that it was ok. I just ate the the cheese enchiladas she brought me although that isnt what I had ordered. I had never felt so belittled by someone at a restaurant. I was not in any way trying to argue or asked for my money I just wanted my order correct. The way that lady spoke down to me made me feel so little.

My only complaint was having to pay for chips & salsa. Best breakfast burritos, authentic ingredients... everything tastes fresh and homemade. My favorites are the huevo con papas y chorizo con queso fresco, and the frijoles con huevo y queso fresco. The nachos with their picadillo is great as well, and you know youre at a good Mexican restaurant when they have cafe de olla. Highly recommend!

This place environment when uphill while the customer service went downhill. Great place if Spanish your first language but someone non Spanish just expect yo order to be wrong or something missing. No refund even if they at fault. Used to be my favorite place but the lack of effort to get it right or make customer happy gets me. Gave it a 3 cause the food is still good but the tacos favor decline can get that taste anywhere. They always got to be right for how they treat you. Update 3/6/23 been there since this review found plastic in my food. Sadly it was the bottom after I nearly ate everything. They gave me a lemon instead of lime to go with my tacos. Went in to order to go, the two men in front of me were offered both types of salsa. I ordered enough food for two to three people and waited about ten or fifteen minutes. When my order was ready, she handed it to me and I asked if there was salsa, there was one. I asked for more salsa and she said it costs extra, so I bought a container about an ounce for forty five cents. When I got home the food was lukewarm if that, the chicken in the enchilada was slightly likewarm and the sauce was cold. My mom said hers was hot enough. I was really disappointed that I paid a twenty per cent tip for counter service, waited quite some time when they werent busy, and then had cold food. My thought is always, what am I waiting for so long to get cold food? Used to be my favorite Mexican in Arlington and now Im sad. Do only men get free/extra salsa here? What Texan only wants one tiny salsa for four items. They no longer have a drive through, I thought they still had one based on Googles review system.

Cute, clean, friendly staff, good food, and good music. They were playing a Joan Sebastian playlist while I was in for lunch on Friday. I wanted a torta but they didn t have milanesa so I asked for the chicken flautas instead. They said they were working on adding milanesa tortas to the menu so that s cool it seems like they re receptive of customer feedback and preferences. It was a nice lunch, I ll be back.

I was born and raised in Mexico so I am always looking for authentic Mexican food. The authenticity and flavors transported me to my abuelita s kitchen. We tried the nachos, barbacoa tacos, chilaquiles, pozole, even thr kids were enjoying every bite. The rice and beans are delicious. We also tasted the desserts and everything excellent! The margaritas and the pineapple mimosas are fantastic. Kid-friendliness: The owner let us used a little corner to keep the kids. Also, their kids dishes are delicious, they devoured them.

I visited this place while on the Texas State campus. Unfortunately, it wasn t good. I ordered a quesadilla with the beyond meat. It was terribly bland as well as the rice. The beans were ok. The other person with me ordered the beef taco and didn t even it eat. Where s the flavor? A little, tiny, pinch of salt goes a long way. If not salt, what about some other spices.

Have I seriously never rated this place? I ve been coming here for 3-4 years. 100% my favorite restaurant. Maybe ever. I love San Diego Mexican food and this is on par to that (no I m not from CA, chill). I highly recommend the taco plate with carnitas, and definitely slather everything in the green sauce they bring to the table because it s the best. We bring everyone here.

We come to this place regularly and most of the time get the barbacoa and cheese quesadilla plate, it s really good. Their taco s, refried beans, frozen margarita s, and green salsa are great too!
