Fun spot to go play some karaoke. Only complaint is the the rooms needs stronger ac. They provide a fan but still needs better AC. Longer hours for booze would be the other complaint. But still over all a fun time

Families beware! I would give 0 stars!. Unfortunately we went to the Round1 in Arlington tonight they put us at a broken bowling machine #17 we had to call service over 5 times then wait after each bowl for them to reset the pins, or wait for two agents to walk behind the lane and fix it on my son s birthday which is ridiculous! Next since we came in late I asked to speak to a manager to get our lane extended because it s not our fault that this place is not only under construction and, a big mess however; that this company has a broken bowling machine. Finally kim the manager here didn t even really make eye contact with me after saying because we didn t purchase hourly there was nothing she could do and, didn t move us to lane #18 until my kids last bowl! This woman manager Kim had her hair in a sloppy falling down ponytail, shirt untucked and, had a nonchalant attitude! This comes after we rendered payment for a machine of their companies that as broken and, even worse after all the calls to the machine, pauses & breaks in between that they were well aware of we shouldn t have had to ask for a refund, another 30 mins with a uninterrupted bowling game or anything. Round1 has gone down however; we go to the grapevine location and, it s sufficiently ran and, since she s did they hire managers that have a ear piece I heard the employee that we asked for a uninterrupted game or a credit to compensate from the broken machine speaking to this racist manager Kim! I was polite and, what does it matter if we purchased a hourly credit to only hear is we would extend the time if you bought hourly vs a game when our game wasn t a game and get this they moved us to machine #18 on my kids last bowl. I m furious all that waiting cut into my kids game time also they should be ashamed of themselves.I will be charging back the bowling portion of the evening what a very negative experience and, I did inform their corporate office as well! It s like we get your money upfront and, if the machine is broken we move you when we want , give you 0 when there was only 30 mins left to bowl and, your machine was broken! Even worse they didn t even mark it broken when they moved us to #18 on our last bowl! Trashy manager Kim, awful place don t get Machine 17 and, they didn t shut it down either or mark it broken either worse! The company dropped the ball big time operating a broken machine and scamming us awful experience

!!I went last night with my girlfriend and some friends and i played a couple games and eventually asked some employees if they could adjust the stuffed animals a couple times which they did but one of the employees lost their keys after helping us and i asked another employee if they could adjust it again which is when she asked if we seen some key and we answered no but we asked if we found em could we have the toy i been playing to win and she answered yes, so i stopped playing for about 15-20 mins and helped 6+ employees and 2 security guards look for the keys and i ended up finding them and returned em and after 5 mins Pronda which is one of the employees name came and tried to press us asking if we took the key or if we found it and we were honest about everything and told him we found it in another machine which we were no where near and about 15 mins after that, ryan, pronda, and another woman i didnt catch her name but came up to us and demanded us to leave because we seemed suspicious which im sure was just a way for that employee that lost his key to keep his job. They told us the GM demanded if we leave and i asked if i could speak with the GM in person and they did not want to come speak with me and told me i could not play the rest of my points that i purchased. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! I dont blame the employees expect the boy that lost his key and the management especially the GENERAL MANAGER MATTTHEW SOTO AND ALL THE OTHER MANAGEMENT FOR NOT HANDLING THE SITUATION WITH ME DIRECTLY THEMSELVES!!!

Last night my boyfriend, friend, and I got kicked out for being suspicious bc an employee we had asked to adjust the stuffed animal in the machine had lost their key after helping us and another employee that had helped us previously asked us if we had seen that key and we replied no, but if we help find it can we maybe get the stuffed animal we wanted and they laugh and replied sure . After we walked around looking for it, my boyfriend found it left in the keyhole in another machine not even really near us and gave it back. After we returned it they gave him the animal he wanted then went to play more games. a few mins later another worker came up and asked did yall HAVE the key already or did yall find it after telling him we found it and showed him where we found it, it was nothing for a good 15 mins. About 15 more mins after, we had won quite a bit of stuffed animals so we went to get a bag then a few mins after we got the bag 3 workers came up to us and said were suspicious and have to leave. After asking why and to see the general manager since they were the one saying we were suspicious and had to leave, we were told they didnt want to come out and speak to us even though thats what managers are for but my boyfriend and friend talked to them more just asking why and to still see them or if we can get a refund then since we cant play the credits we just bought, we were told they cant do that and that we can come back tomorrow but why would we want to come back the next day after being kicked out when we helped the worker find the key they lost in the first place.

If I could give negative stars I would do 5 minus. I would swipe the card to play the games and the balance would decrease but the game wouldnt play. Went to multiple workers to address the issue and none were helpful. Asked for a manager that obviously wasnt interested in the problem since no one came out to talk to me. Went to the bowling alley and the screen would just automatically skip players and add points. Instead of an hour it turned out to be a little over 30 minutes. Again, tried addressing it and the worker said he didnt know what was the problem. Went to the bar to get beers and the bartender wouldnt comprehend what I would ask for. A dressed beer? Salted rim on the glass, I dont know what was so hard to understand. Asked for appetizers, nachos, cheese sticks to start off and that was just lame and lazy made. The cheese on the nachos was cold and clumpy, and the cheese sticks were still undercooked and frozen together. And i tell the girl by the counter that I wanted some fresh made food and had the audacity to tell me to put in the order myself on the tablet while she was just talking to a coworker. Ive never had these problems at the San Antonio location. Who runs this place? Because obviously no one wants to work but for sure take our money.

Service was horrible people working there acted as though getting a bottle of water was the end of the world. Would have gotten drinks but food and bar were closed at 9 pm when they close at midnight only thing you can get after 9 is a bottle of water. Bowling was fun and a good price. That s the only reason I m giving 2 stars.

The excuses the people at the bar give to why its closed every single time. I went twice for that reason to enjoy a drink and play and both times I asked before purchasing a bowling lane and they said it should be open so cool and when it wasnt and I asked for a refund they wouldnt give me one so I feel like I was robbed and would not recommend you go if youre trying to have a good customer experience along with a good experience in general Poor attitudes every single time I have gone and just not something to do for a fun pass time any more Good concept horrible execution

Time to bring out the child in us. Such a fun place, had a blast on my recent visit here. Had been there with two of my friends for almost 4 hours, and every minute and every penny we spent there worth it. Bowling - Check Ping Pong - Check Arcade - Check If youre with your friends, just go for 1 hr, unlimited credit card on each game. Youll have maximum of fun. The staff was helpful. The environment was clean. And since our visit was on the weekday night, there wasnt much traffic inside the area. Worth giving a try.

Me and a group of friends , 4 total of us came around 9pm on April,13th, 2024 to go bowling. We get to our lane and played for about 10 minutes before our lane malfunctioned we got a nice attendant to fix the lane it took about 15 minutes and we asked for an accommodation since we had to wait and was losing time that we paid for he did give us 15 extra minutes to bowl. We appreciated the accommodation but then the same lane malfunctioned again and then we waiting for about another 10-15 minutes before he told us he couldn t fix it and will move us to another lane. We were moved to another lane and told we were given 15 extra more minutes to play again. We played at the second lane for about 10 minutes then that lane malfunctioned as well. At this point we were pretty disappointed and didn t want to bowl any longer and just asked for a refund which the attendant was very nice to walk to the counter and explain to the cashier ,as did we, to process the refund. The problem started when Gabby, identifying herself as the supervisor there came to help us . We tried to just give her a rundown of the issue bc she asked the cashier rudely what s the problem with them , she kept interrupting us and told us she can t do anything without a receipt knowing we did in fact pay bc you can t even play without paying first . Mind you our receipts were in our hand she never even asked for it directly she just assumed we didn t have them. Gabby the supervisor was very rude and tried to hurry up with us and never apologized she was unwelcoming and seemed racist , we are People of Color and as soon as she seen us she frowned up and started talking down to us as we didn t know the process of a refund and also explained the reasons we may not get one even though we were already told we can get a refund bc again we paid to bowl couldn t bowl and of course we had our receipts. Me and my group of friends were very displeased with the lack of concern, understanding and sympathy from Gabby the supervisor. I truly hope these are not the type of employees this establishment hires nor the attitude their employees display regularly . Overall the experience went from okay to outright horrible due to the lack unprofessionalism displayed by Gabby. We never tried to argue and remained patient and respectful even though she questioned and talked down to us. We will not be returning back and I advise any other People of Color to remain cautious if you are going to go and keep your receipts in case your ever questioned if you payed or not.

They fixed the AC finally so thats nice, but both the Arlington and the grapevine locations have made their crane games significantly harder while reducing the quality of the game rewards quite a bit since after COVID. Additionally theyve added a new Japanese style menu, which is a great idea in theory but unfortunately the employees making said menu seems to have had no training on how to make it, or even understand what the items are called. I ordered Takoyaki and had to argue for five minutes that its supposed to come with a sauce on it when they tried to give me a plate of dry Takoyaki balls. The karaage was burnt, and also came without sauce. The employee gave me a plastic cup gyoza sauce when I kept asking for the dipping sauce. TLDR, games are okay, crane games are meh, the food is terrible and the employees hate their jobs.

I don t normally leave reviews, but sadly I ll have to for this round 1. One of the service technicians ruined the experience for my family, while we were trying to bowl. Our aisle was having problems and dude started berating us for not knowing the issue. It was some of their first times bowling, so how were they going to know what was wrong. I hope the technician and managers see this review and do something about that guy. Miserable dude not happy with life, so he goes around spreading his negativity. Manager gave us a little bit more time for bowling to make up for the technician being rude to us, but honestly I should ve asked for a refund since we kept having weird problems while bowling and the service guy ruined the mood for us. Keep an eye out for the Asian service technician, I wouldn t want him ruining anyone else s experience. Update: Okcfrenchie account is very clearly the person who affected us or someone connected to them trying to save themselves. Very clearly that comment is conflict of interest.

Went to Round 1 today to bowl, and when we started the balls started to pile up and we assumed that once the balls reached a certain limit, they would start coming back. The machine was letting us bowl like normal so we didn t think nothing of it. Eventually after a few balls didn t come back, we called the mechanic to come fix it. This dude was the biggest ******* to us for no reason. I m not sure if his parents don t love him or if he s having a bad day, but that doesn t mean to take out on us as customers. He yelled at us with attitude saying why would you throw more balls knowing it wasn t working? Surgeons don t yell at us when we don t know how to fix ourselves , so why are you mad at us because you have to do YOUR job??

If you want to have a racist experience here is the perfect place (try it), the staff receives you reluctantly, when you want to use the facility, only with a TX ID, when you show the Mexican ID the attitude changes from friendly to disastrous, clearly this place It is not for tourists. I showed them my INE and my visa and even so the person at the cash register told me that it couldnt be done (with a bad attitude) and we had me and my cousins. Fun for the kids. We like their time play card. The kids can spend an hour and can play as much as they want. Their claw machines always have different items so it is nice. We usually go once a month for the kids to pick up some stuffed animals. I know its cheaper to buy outside but our kids enjoy it. Expect to spend about $50-100 there. Unless you just want the time play card which is about $10/per hour. If you sign up for their membership then its $10/90mins.

The Japanese crane games seem to be mostly out of order or haven t been set up yet. Surprising to see this on a weekend when that s the busiest times. Saw a lot of people walk to the area, see nothing is set up and leave. Of the ones that are working, I did win a prize. Will be glad to see this place with fully set up machines.

Had a blast with my little nachito. Great place for the family or even just some friends to hang out with. Went bowling and it was a great time. Lanes are well kept and always have a nice amount of oil. Good spin on the balls.

TLDR; Go to round 1 grapevine mall for rhythm games Me and my friends used to frequent here for the rhythm games daily but lately a lot of the machines have been worn down and its become unplayable. The older IIDX cabs have multiple busted keys and screen tearing, a drumania snare misfires, the guitarfreaks strum misfires, the DDR pads don t register frequently (no surprise), and WORST OF ALL, the sound voltex valkyrie model has a non-oem screen so it has the wrong resolution, screen tears, and timing is very off. The rest of the games are aged so its a little bit more understandable, but the VM is the newest version, so its unacceptable that it is broken. As I m typing this my friends and I are waiting in a 7 person sound voltex line at the grapevine round 1 location that we all drove an hour for because it really is that unplayable. Theres also a 4 person line on guitarfreaks/drumania and the DDR machines are flooded. These are all familiar faces form APM round 1 The one thing to commend them on is the AC a lot better works now

This is my first review ever. I have had bad customer service at some places, and Ive played rigged crane games before, but the experience I had here today was unprecedented. I spent 40+ dollars trying to win what I can only imagine was a completely unfair crane game that no one, no matter how skilled, could have won. After 20+ tries I moved onto some other games before running out of credits. At the end I had won nothing, so I thought I could go to the front desk to ask for one of the prizes from the game Id started on (20+ tries), but the manager looked through my plays and determined I hadnt spent enough money on that particular game. So I left empty-handed. I think there are certain crane games there that are not meant to have winners. Ive never seen that before at a Round 1. Also, Ive never left empty handed after spending $40+ failing at crane games. The prize I wanted was shown to be 300 yen (i.e. equivalent to $2.06 USD as of the time Im writing this -- maybe $4 with generous import tax and shipping), but the manager refused to give it to me. Each play was roughly $1.49, and at 20 plays that would around $29.70 (not including the other $15+ I spent not winning anything because I suck and the games are rigged), but the manager would not budge. I will not be coming back to this location, I hope it loses money and that eventually only the superior Grapevine location will remain. Also, this is the only location I know to charge for game cards. Theyre looking for pennies in the wrong places, and it shows in their lack of staff, customer service, and how badly they have to rig their crane games to keep afloat. I would avoid this location like the plague.

Its an ok place to take the kids, without having to go somewhere far and super packed during the week. Sometimes the machines arent working and dont look maintained. The main thing I dont like is that the prizes are labeled incorrectly. The kids took a long time to look through everything and add up the total, only for them to tell us that what we got was worth so much more than what the label said.

Smaller than the grapevine mills location, it still has a healthy variety of games and a lot of crane games. Their food selection is disappointing but a quick trip to the mall food court can serve as a decent break. The bar has friendly staff and serves beer and wine. One drink per ID is their policy which is understandable.

I went with a friend and its a good arcade in itself, but my friend had a card he saved over 100,000 tickets on. He went to the register, they updated his account, and he lost every single ticket. They made no attempt at recovery. The email sent to corporate was ignored. We were robbed out of hundreds of dollars worth of ticket-redeemable products. Boycott this place. Do not support corporate apathy.

I come hear about every 2 Weeks and the staff are always there to help when you need them. There is multiple employees walking around and if you need assistance you dont need to go to the front counter and you can just stop an employee and they will gladly help you. I have been going here constantly for about 2 years and the service is wonderful and I never had any bad experiences. The arcade cabinets are in prestine condition and the rhythm game community at round1 arlington is really nice. I 100% recommend this location if you want to celebrate or just hang out.

The best part about this place was Gavin one of the workers, and Theodore, the other person who helped us. Claw machines are so outdated. they shake every time. They also have games that are just not meant to win at all. At other locations, they at least try to make the game somewhat playable a lot of these were non-playable games. Most of the games that I enjoy to play back in my own city we re not working. I just think this place needs a major overhaul, new upgrades, new machines, or at least retool the ones you have

I don t know who let the girl dressed in all black be manager, but they need to upgrade to someone whos more customer facing. There was one worker at the register working the line for cards+points , one worker that disappears from the food court area, and no one on the floor but the maintenance man. The manager couldve helped out instead of walking around waiting to get a headset call about a customer complaint. The small machines are not worth 9 points thats a scam smh. I didnt attempt to play them , but I know theres no grip to those claws cause theyre the same ones from the one in Carrollton. The tiny claws changed from the last time I played a few months back . They were the easiest to win at but now it s impossible to grip the prize. It ll will drop when it hits the top. Definitely, i am salty about loss live and learn. I hope others check out the grapevine location or spend their points on the other games.

My recent visit to Round1 Bowling was an absolute nightmare. The staff was unprofessional and unwelcoming, showing no interest in providing assistance or guidance. Within minutes of arrival, we were subjected to baseless fall allegations, leaving us humiliated and unwelcome. To make matters worse, we encountered racist behavior and were tricked into leaving, resulting in the blatant theft of our money without receiving any service. Even the manager refused to address the situation or review the video footage that would have clearly shown the truth. Our birthday night was ruined, and we feel completely cheated and robbed. This intentional act of theft is a breach of trust that cannot be ignored. I strongly advise others, Save yourself the trouble and find another venue that respects its customers and values their satisfaction.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please feel free to go if you want to get a taste of racial discrimination. We went there to celebrate my friends birthday and to have a good time. We bought beers and went for bowling and within 5 min the security person who I must tell was very rude said that he received multiple complaints about us. He tricked us to come out to talk and afterwords didnt let us in. The employees and management is also extremely rude and I would definitely say racist. The employees intentionally lie and tell fake complaints to the manager and the manager also trust their words without even knowing the exact scenario. They refused to give refunds as well. They made very sure to ruin our time.

The worst place you could ever be in. When we entered the area the guard misbehaved with us. After going inside we bought 1 bowling lane & we had just played one bowl & the guard came and asked us to walk out without giving any explanation. After asking what happened he started giving vague answers like you were bothering other people & you were misbehaving with them. Well there was just one group other than us & we did not even talk to them. We asked him to get the manager. She came and gave us another reason that we bought beer from them for 6 & that we mixed beer with water just to hide from them. I mean is that even humanly possible. Why would somebody mix beer & water. They just wanted to throw us out at any cost because of our skin colour. We asked for a refund and they said we do not do that. FYI this all happened in 15 mins. These people are thieves. They cant be anymore disrespectful. They are racists.

I want to preface that I love and have been to round1 in different areas. The crane games are typically my game of choice. I can t help but think they re a scam at this location. This is the fist and only time I was not able to even pick up any of the prizes let alone win any. The figure games are ping pong drop, all of them. They re made to have 0 chance. I understand that there s suppose to a certain degree of difficulty but not like this. I can t believe this place would be so greedy. In addition, I have yet to see one staff member walk through, tend to, or even just pass by the crane games. Which kinda adds what I explained above. I am in no way upset for not winning anything. I have had a fair level of success of other locations and even walked away empty handed at some crane games with only myself to blame. The blame has to be entirely on this location. I doubt anything we change here. So, I ll be saving my points for another round1. I cannot say much about the other game types since it was very discouraging. This is also the only location to charge for a new game cards.

Racially profiled at this place twice at this place. Its the second time I go and the security always threatens to kick us out if we start anything. My group and I never have done anything other than play the broken games that eat your credits up and rarely ever work. The food is terrible too. Everything was fine until we went to the prize counter. Manager needs re-training: a lovely employee gave us the amount we had in total for all 4 cards which was 3,936. As we came back to redeem our tickets, the manager rang us up but only gave us the amount for 1 card. We kept insisting that is not all the cards but manager kept being stubborn but we begged her to do it again and each time she tried again, we would get a different amount because she was not swiping all the cards!! And even that, she would keep speaking to us as if we were wrong. After her trying for the 10th time she finally got to 3,936 and walked off because she knew she was wrong. Round1 please consider on getting a new manager!
