Our Route 66 travels took us to Amarillo where my wife and I were craving pizza. We found Big Jim s after a quick search and we certainly weren t disappointed. The food hit the spot and the service was excellent (small blonde server). Really made us feel welcome and was great to talk about the differences (and similarities) between Scotland & Texas. Highly recommend!

We got the Cold Pizza, which was yummy, and they made it the way it should be made...after the pizza comes out of the over, more cold cheese is put on and the heat from the pizza slowly melt this cheese. There could have been more sauce on the pizza, but it was still yummy. The cheese curds were a little overcooked, but the fries were perfect, and their homemade ranch dressing is fabulous. The workers were very nice and fun to tall to. Parking: Place is part of a strip mall so plenty of parking.

For starters, I would not order from this place again. I ordered a pizza for delivery and was told it would take an hour 2 hours later we still didn t have our food. The pizza didn t arrive until about 2 hours and 20 minutes after the initial order was placed. The pizza was lukewarm and honestly, not that good. My husband and I ended up eating about 2 slices and then giving up on the meal. It s very unfortunate because the pizza looked really good online, but it was a complete waste of $40.

Always drove by this place but never actually stopped. Kids wanted pizza but our usual spot is closed on Sundays. Super glad we stopped. This place has amazing pizza! Definitely recommend!!! The smallest sizes were way more than a family of 4 could eat.

Stopped there on 8/9/2024 at 7:03 pm ordered a 14 inch pizza was told 20 to 30 minutes 40 at the most well it was 58 minutes and the damn pizza was so damn floppy you had to use a fork to eat it. The service as for as getting it out in the time frame giving to me when I placed the order was lousey. The first and last time I will go there.

I was stoked when I saw they had cauliflower crust, and even more stoke once I tried it! It arrived 20 minutes early and tasted AMAZING! Will def be making this my new go-to! Update: I ve been back a few times since, and let me say, this is genuinely one of my favorite things in Amarillo. I ve ordered some to my work for my coworker and I, and he was very impressed. I also went with my mom and she enjoyed the cauliflower crust! Our waitress was also absolutely amazing. Every time Ive ordered from here, it s ready on time and the staff has been friendly. It s been really consistently amazing. Ive gotten to a point where I order it at least once a week. If Big Jim s has 1000 fans, I m one of them. If Big Jim s has 1 fan, it s me. If Big Jim s has no fans, I m dead.

This place has been around for a while, it was under a different name, but the 1 thing that hasnt changed much was the quality of the food! Some may say that its better or some may say the opposite, but for me I think the only thing that has changed is the taste of the pizza sauce, I fell that it has more flavor then than now, but other than that I have no complaints. The service is great, they have expanded under the new ownership, which is a plus, they now have a bar area to make your stay even that much more better, the food is still very good, and good portion sizes, and they offer either the biggest or the 2nd biggest sized pizza in the area , feeds alot of pizza!! Now majority of the food we order is the pizza, but have tried the wings, and they are good, great to some, they are great if your in the mood for something a Lil different on top of the pizza We always get the meat lovers pizza, and man do they pack on the toppings!! Thats 1 great thing they do well is they dont skimp of the amount of toppings. You can dine in, pick up or have them deliver, Ive never had amy complaints on any of the many times I visited the establishment, and neither should you!! Such a great place! My husband and I were just passing through looking for a place to eat. The pizza did not disappoint!! As someone with a gluten allergy I was so delighted with their gluten free crust! The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was very familial. They really care for their customers. We chatted casually with the owner who was so kind. Highly recommend stopping here for some great pizza!! Dietary restrictions: Seldom can you find a good gluten free crust that doesn t resemble cardboard. They went above and beyond to make it feel & taste like a real pizza crust! They texture was great and the edges were nice and crispy!

Service was so bad, our server/bartender was more concerned with having conversations with the two big tables. The other bartender brought our food and looked puzzled when we asked for another beer. Unorganized circus, dudes didnt seem to care, felt like we were inconveniencing them! Food is always good, but service was beyond poor! The room has like 3 or 4 tables and the bar....come on!

Im a huge fan of Labellas pizza. This is not LaBellas anymore. They claim its the same great food but different name. I ordered a large salad without olives. They chopped up a head of lettuce gave me half of it and tossed half a tomato sliced, no longer cubed, left off the all the toppings that comes with it, cheese$$, bacon$$, banana peppers, red onion, croutons, cucumber etc, they charged me 13.00 and I gave a 2.00 tip at pickup. I paid 15.00 for a 2.00 skimpy salad. This is pathetic. Dont go here. Find a*** REAL LA BELLAS*** The salads are far better bigger and under $10.00!!!

I ordered a Taco Salad last night and it was delicious! One of the biggest perks at this restaurant is that everything is able to be customized. The traditional taco salad has taco meat, Refried beans etc... I changed it up completely. I changed the meat from ground beef to grilled and crispy chicken. Basically I did a regular salad with chicken. No beans or anything like that. Their ranch is delicious. The taco bowl was cooked to perfection. It was golden brown and crispy. I cant wait to try the taco salad the way its made on the menu. Big Jims is pretty pricey, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. My husband and I shared the taco salad and was enough for us both. As I try new stuff, I will leave more reviews.

Came here last year when it was LaBellas and the food was overall great. This visit was mediocre at best. The corn nuggets were really good (4.5/5). Spicy bbq wings (4/5) but expensive. Pizza had a thinner crust than it used to. Not quite thin crust but it was thin. Jim s special pizza (3.5/5) flavor was ok. I would order this again if the crust wasn t so thin. Margherita pizza (1/5). I figured with how good this place was last time I would try it. It was the worst Margherita pizza I ve had in my life. The sauce has no flavor at all and I only had one slice because I was hungry and threw out the rest. Way too expensive for mediocre food.

Very weird pizza delivery situation. The lady on the phone takes my order and for a taco salad and a 12 pizza its $47.00. i ask her to have the driver call me when he is here i cant hear my door.... So he calls and proceeded to bombard me with jokes and over the top circus atmosphere. He then gives me my food and I get up to my door he asked me to bring the food back down for another skit. And went to the restaurant. Because I live so close, I knew it wouldn t be ready. So I talked to Aracely and she said, we can bring it out to your car. I said, let me just go to the bar and wait there. I had a fantastic beer. They really had an eclectic selection of beers! And then Aracely brought my pizza to the bar. I popped the box open and was staring at a beautiful pie! I decided to heck with taking it home! And I ate a few slices there with my beer. The first bite was amazing!!! I put in a special order and it was perfect!!!! I was so impressed and pleased! I went and told Aracely how pleased I was! And she was extremely pleased to hear it! I am back home with the rest of a killer pizza and am going to share the rest! Thank you for making my night! There will definitely be a return visit in the future!

We ordered on a road trip while staying at the Oasis RV Resort. After 3 weeks on the road, we were ready for some pizza. Not only did we get great pizza, buy our delivery driver Brett was punctual, funny and a breath of fresh air after a long day of driving. I highly recommend, and ask for Brett as your delivery guy!

Ordered chicken strips, anti-pasta salad and fried mushrooms. My wife loved the salad, we both loved the mushrooms. The chicken was a little dry but hey, I ate them. We love everything about Big Jim s! The food, atmosphere, and staff are all top notch. If you ever meet Brett, you must ask him to tell you a dad joke.. his jokes are like their cheese pizza.. cheesy but good! If you aren t a pizza fan, they have so many other good options on their menu. Gyros, salad, burgers, wings.. all the good things. And don t sleep on their desserts. We are regulars at this place for a reason!

I don t think the pizza is worth the price, but it was not the worst. I got a supreme Chicago pizza and it was really mushy. The crust was also falling apart and looked like it was dropped for $55 just for that pizza. Also got a ultimeat pizza and it was way better than the Chicago but I wouldn t get it again. Thinking about trying the ribs next hoping to have a better experience next time.

Looking for a Chicago style pizza..this is the place to go in Amarillo..Very large ..should of ordered the 10 inch..lots of left overs..very good, really good flavor.Sweet lady at counter. Manager came out and visited with me while my pizza finished cooking. Very good customer service..Glad I tried this establishment..Will be back..the menu is quite large..lots to choose from.Highly recomend!!
