Amarillo is a regular stop for us when we travel and we were so happy to find Crush Wine Bar on this last trip. The food was excellent and the service from Soma at the bar was great. Will definitely be making this a regular stop when we are in Amarillo. Also Seth went above and beyond to return a bracelet that I lost at the bar to us back in Dallas. Thank you!

I was disappointed after reading reviews and hearing from people how great Crush was. The service and lighting was great, but the food was definitely underwhelming for finer dining. Burnt spinach and artichoke dip, a greasy duck, and hard rice under my tuna made the experience less than perfect. The drinks were nice but the giant block of ice in the middle was disappointing. Would like to come back, but nervous about ordering dinner again.

Excellent meal and service tonight. We enjoyed the pork chop with veggies and potatoes. The pork chop was so large we shared. We had the chicken tacos as an appetizer and they were just the right spice. The craft cocktails excellent. They have a nice roof top area but just too warm to experience it tonight. We will be back.

Keeped coming in and setting at the bar all sweaty , shorts and t shirt and just sat there like if it was McDonalds. Lost my appetite. Did not enjoy my visit this time.

Only reason for the 1 star is because the bartender was super nice. The steak was horribly cooked. It was grilled . It was most definitely pan seared poorly. I was hungry as I hadn t eaten today. Half the strip was uncooked fat. But yeah totally grilled Left completely and totally underwhelmed. Will only come back for drinks. If that.

While staying in downtown Amarillo decided to go for on a recommendation to Crush. Was able to get a reservation (it was a Tuesday) we decided on arrival to set up stairs on the patio to enjoy some live music. Our table was great and the server was awesome. Started out with mussels and the tuna tartar. Mussels were good and the tartar was some of the best I ve had. A few cocktails proved to be well made and enjoyed through out the meal. The main course was a step backwards from the appetizers. The wife had the salmon. It was a good cut but the sauce and accompaniment were just okay. I had gone with the double bone in chop. Again the meat was cooked to order and had a great flavor on its own. However the peach/red pepper chutney was a bit on the red pepper side and took away from the pork. The mashers and sautéd veggies were on point. Again, over all this was a good dinning experience and would go back. Thank you again to the staff for a great date night on our road trip.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Started my birthday weekend off with dinner at this place only to get FOOD POISONING. Our waitress was divine, however, when making reservations it asked if we were celebrating and my husband put, my birthday, nothing was ever said to us. What tries to come across as a fine dining establishment is just a wolf in sheep s clothing. Night one of my birthday weekend ended in a trip to the ER. Don t let them ruin your weekend too.

Warning: Pricey. Menus are deceptive. For example,. If you get yakisoba the menu says $21. But then they will ask you if you want to add protein but forget to tell you they will add a $8 charge. So the plate comes out total around $30 bucks. Definitely not worth it. Same thing with the Salad. Also review your check carefully. They added a $12 for icecream and I had no idea. I almost paid for it. Regardles, I ended up paying $90 for a small salad and the yakisoba that wasnt all that good and old fashion and a marg. No idea how. I never made a review but this bad pricing deserves it. Nothing special about the restaurant to be this overpriced. Server was good not her fault. But man first and last time visiting this restaurant that thinks they are high class but to be honest they are far way too far from that.

I ll start with the positive, the crème brûlée was delicious as was the blueberry chilton lemonade, and the restaurant itself is nice and clean, plus the girl at the front was nice. The poke bowl is very mediocre and overpriced and the service is terrible if you re in a group of 6 or more. Our waitress did not check on us once, didn t ask to refill our drinks or if we wanted dessert. Anything that we needed we had to flag her down although we watched her have no problem giving her other tables excellent service. I live two hours away and was so excited to try this restaurant but it was definitely a let down and an experience I won t repeat.

Went on their valentines day event 1 couple for 150 dollars, made a reservation for 9pm, quickly learned that our table wasnt ready, because the couple ahead of us was exceeding their time limit. OK so we had to wait about 7 minutes to be seated. They ran out of the Lobster soup, so that was a little disappointing to hear (so even more limited options since there were only a few in each section to choose from on their valentines menu) so I chose a strawberry salad. Everything with the food was immaculate! If I could turn back time, I wouldve went on a regular day, the event seemed like a logistical nightmare, even saw a couple leave without paying which was a huge YIKES. I bet 100 percent this is a great place to be, just make sure to go on a regular day so you have more options and moving room!

Great place to eat in downtown Amarillo. There was a band playing upstairs on their outside patio which looked fun, but we decided to eat downstrairs in their restaurant area. Food was very good. We both had an entree which was more than sufficient. The duck breast on risotto was excellent, the risotto ok. The other entree was the miso cod, which was good as well, but the rice was chewy in some places and seemed to be pre-cooked and reheated, which is a shame. We were served by Esperanza who was great and took good care of us. Cocktails were very enjoyable as well. Will sure be back if Im ever in Amarillo again (we were just passing through).

If you have 4 hours to waste on mediocre cold food, this is your place. First off, the host and hostess were extremely rude when we said we didnt have a reservation and suggested upstairs ~might~ have space but youll have to see. Service was extremely slow, waiter was very inattentive and poor compared to his other table assignments. Food took over an hour to arrive and was cold and not very flavorful whatsoever. In one word, pretentious. The food is not what it could be considering their diverse menu. Based on the tuna tartare, the rest of their food is equally bland. The best part of the tuna tartare was not the bland tuna, but the accompanying aioli. The plating was decent with drizzling and dots to take up empty real estate on the plate, allowing you to choose which sauce you want. The wonton chips provided a good texture. Maybe it will wow locals but the tuna should really be the star player. Im always apprehensive of restaurants that are very far from the sea that serve seafood. This is no exception. I would recommend this downtown spot for the live music and drink, and will give the food another chance to see if I judged it too harshly on the first visit.

My wife and I had not been to Amarillo is many years and found this place by accident. It was quite surprising and a fresh experience for us as Amarillo has always been a city behind the times for us. They had a nice, thorough drink menu. The food menu was small, however this often helps me make a quicker decision. My wife has the Mac and cheese that was done very well. We highly recommend it. I had the coconut shrimp that came with risotto and asparagus. The shrimp was delightful. The asparagus was a little woody and limp. It was broken off to close to the end. It was also cool too long or not blanched. In other words. It needs improvement. I knew going in I was not going to be a fan of the risotto as I am not a fan of mushrooms, with that being said, my wife really appreciated it. The outdoor dining was really pleasant despite the heat from earlier in the day. They only issue with the outdoor dining is the general public driving by with radios turned up. This is nothing the restaurant can do to accommodate, just an observation. The service was rather slow. It was not a busy Wednesday night. It took entirely too long to get the water, silverware, drink order and plates out. Getting the table set up and drink orders taken should not take a tremendous amount of time even if they are slammed. The main dishes taking a little longer is acceptable. Overall it was good experience. Parking: Parking is not an issue. There is plenty of free street parking in the evening.

Reservation was not honored. After waiting 30 minutes we were seated next to a private party that was loud. No apology from manager. Wait staff was stretched too thin. Also, the menu has changed for the worse. We will not be back.

Went for my daughters 18th birthday party this past Wednesday with a party of 12 . Her medium steak came out rare has to send it back and it was flavorless. Rest of the food was decent, but nothing great . Service was awesome! If you dont mind the same homeless lady with her pants around her ankles by the huge window as you eat . My cousins 8 yr old daughter and my 12 yr old daughter and elderly parents had a front row show to her butt be exposed. Crush you reeeaalllyyy need to do better with the homeless situation especially after the second time of seeing the same person. We definitely WONT be back .

Great service and food have us returning for sure. We enjoyed the 2nd story inside table view after a long drive from Flagstaff, AZ. Jordan the bartender was an excellent server, as well as bartender. From his detailed service, knowledge of the food and excellent mixing skills, Jordan truly delivered a very satisfying dinner experience. The caramel apple martini tasted exactly as described. The strawberry, lime, cucumber mocktail was also a winner. The duck, tuna, both their salads and side of brussels satisfied all our tastebuds. We left looking forward to our next drive thru Amarillo for a return experience.

Wow, what a great place to go to. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The food (cheese curds) were nice and fluffy and delicious. The wine very nice and sweet like I like. Their food selection was pretty decent. Their drink list was pretty decent as well. Highly recommend this place.

First and foremost the service was absolutely AMAZING!! The server took great care of us, was super excited to be there, and was very helpful with any and all questions we had. The drinks were also great! I had an old fashion and margarita & both were delicious! However( unfortunately) the Ribeye was very bland. It taste like they just decided to skip the seasoning of any sort and just cook it. There was lack of char on it and again the flavor was just nonexistent!

The decor and service were excellent, I wish I can say the same for the food. Just my honest opinion, not trying to sabotage or anything like that. The artichoke dip with fried wonton was kinda oily, the pan seared duck meat cooked perfectly medium rare, but the skin was super chewy. The peach salad was not using fresh peach. It was this brownish, we thought was canned peach. Again, I am being kinda picky here. It s a solid place with excellent set up, but the food could be a bit better

The best carnitas tacos I ve ever had this side of the southwest. The pork was perfectly done but the aioli, red sauce and guac were what truly shone. The chips that I didn t even know came with the tacos were phenomenal. The whole meal was truly exquisite. The only thing missing was the chocolate mousse they have in taco chelo out in phoenix.

Excellent solid meal with quality ingredients as the band was passing through from LA to NM. I loved the Caesar with salmon. So fresh. The tacos, steaks, quinoa bowl, and the tortellini were all excellent. Josh in the roof bar upstairs was fine dining service level. If I am ever in Amarillo again I ll be back and bring friends!

Horrible horrible service! Never again. Made reservations on New Years for our anniversary. I called the day before to make sure our reservation was set the lady tells me that they are booked out let her know that I was able to make it online. She said she would ask & call me back. Never heard from her. I received a text confirming my reservation. Arrived, we were seated & then no one came to get our drink orders. The place had 2 other tables and a place full of employees. A server finally saw us & asked if we had been helped. When we told him no he goes to where all the servers are & they all look at us & still no one came up to us. Finally a server comes then tells us they have a set menu & not able to order anything else. Was never told that when I called to make my reservation. Never again!!

Awesome service and yummy food! The cheese curds were amazing, as was the Ribeye. Good wines, and wine by the glass list. My friend ordered the Yaki Soba, and the salmon was just ok. I added shrimp to my steak, and they were definitely out of a box, so skip anything seafood related. Deep in the heart of Texas, so embrace the beef and youll be happy! Really enjoyed my bday here!

This is a top 5 in Amarillo for sure. Great vibe and the food is over the top great. Lunch is the ticket. Perfect little bar with maybe the best bartender in town. My suggestion would be the jalapeño turkey sandwich with truffle fries. You won t regret it.

Attention manager ! The hostesses you hired were, and are top notch. Ill get to the food later. Ill stay up front first. They were very welcoming and personable. Have a problem, theyll fix. Question, they answered, all with a kool-aid smile. I forgot the names, but I named them responsible braces and Arkansas. Dilly to them Now, onto the culinary delights. Mac and cheese was delish. The ribeye was tasty as well. Next time, Ill try a few cocktails to even out the experience

Took 10 minutes to get a waitress to our table to just get our menus. We ordered right away & took almost an hour to get our food. It wasnt even busy & now we know why. A couple came in way after us & sat at the bar, got drinks and their food before us. Horrible service. Wish I could say it was worth the wait but food was not good at all.
