A very nice place for BBQ but a little pricey for the average person. Two BBQ sliced brisket sandwiches and two drinks, 40 dollars. 3 dollars for a glass of tea is ridiculous any where you get it, when it costs pennies to make, just saying. Overall the brisket was excellent.

Had the prime rib. AMAZING! Excellent portions and a great baked potato. Grilled onions and mushrooms and an asparagus/green bean blend?! THEN topped off with homemade bread pudding and ice cream. YEAH! They know meat here. Had all the games on as well. Very chill and relaxed atmosphere.

Wasn t sure what to expect, very very good fall off the bone ribs, brisket is very good. I m a big baby when it comes to spice so the bbq sauce wasn t for me but it had good flavor around the spice. Dry rub on meat was good. Mac is cheese was to die for. Pork was amazing. All around great experience. If we travel this way again we will make sure to come this route to eat here again.

We were excited to eat here after reading other reviews. Unfortunately it was not a good experience. We waited 45 minutes for our food. The ribs were cold. Onion rings were cold and soggy. Brisket was dry. Bummer. I think they were having a bad day in the kitchen. It wasnt that busy, but they were having a very hard time keeping up.

This place is a hidden gem, located a short drive from Amarillo. Food was excellent as was the service! My husband and I tried the burnt ends (BEST we have ever had), turkey, green chili hominy and the Brisky Mac Frito Pie which was to die for! This place has a very cool ambience, both inside as well as outside in the covered seating area. We went near closing and the owner took the time to sit and chat with us and explained the history of the building (definitely worth hearing!) and local attractions. We ll definitely be stopping in again the next time we pass through Amarillo, hopefully on a Friday night so that we can listen to the live band!

Hidden goldmine! Was looking for a place near our night stay in hotel off Rt 335 & I-40, read reviews and decided to come! Beautiful night (in Aug.) so we were able to sit outside to listen to the live music- ( Mackenzie & Cole) awesome! Service was absolutely 5 star, everyone so friendly. Food really good, Mac & Cheese awesome, brisket so tender and not full of fat, rolls super fresh. We split a sandwich & 2 sides, more than enough for 2 of us. Only comment - replace picnic tables! Will be back when we get the chance

I did not know what to expect, but I was no let down. We had BRISKET chile. We also had some macaroni, coleslaw, and the potato salad. Everything came with pickled onions and pickles. Now the brisket was good, I aint gon hold you. It was a little dry, definitely not the best Ive had in my life, but the sauces were good and the overall meal was good. They even made us fresh mac n cheese. I liked it, didnt love it. Id eat every dish again for sure, may Id try the burnt ends or the chopped brisket instead of slices. Now... what really did me in was the dessert. They made this fried cheesecake that is easily in my top 10 world dessert. it was warm and had almost a cottage cheese type texture/consistency, with some honey on top. ooooooh it was so good. if it had a little citrus or may some fresh fruit, that would take it from A to A+. There was also live music and an outdoor patio area. Shoutout to Ashton who reccd the cheesecake over the bread pudding. PAY ASHTON MORE!!!

This is a self-serve Bar/restaurant. You go to the cashier to order and pay then they bring your food out. The BBQ was ok nothing special, middle of the road BBQ. There is no service if you want something you have to ask. It was a Friday night at 7.30 so i figured we would never get in but i was wrong. we made only the third table to have someone sitting at it. Since its so far out of the way i probably wont go back.

This is an old-fashioned place. Its far from the madding crowd as they say, but its worth the drive!! I grew up in Amarillo and was there visiting family. The lean sliced brisket was the most tender Ive ever eaten. The okra was hot and crispy. The ice-cold filtered well water was the best Ive had in years. I filled up my cup to have some for the road. I hope to bring more family to this terrific restaurant when I return.

First thing, you order at the counter and pay. Of course the card machine asks for a tip. This wouldnt necessarily be a problem, until you find out that you have to get your own drinks, plastic utensils, and bbq sauce. And you have to clean your table off. As far as the food itself, the ribs were greasy and had lots of cartilage. Mac n cheese was ok. The brisket sandwich I had at Buccees was better than anything I had at this place.

I was out camping, Jeeping and Hiking at Merus Adventure Park, and needed a break. Pork N Things came up close by and went to heaven. Im from Colorado so great Texas Barbeque is always loved. Then they had FIVE IPAs. And a large patio that is dog friendly, with a big green area outside. Then a group got together and played some great country music on the patio. They even sang a Guy Clark song. I dont want to leave! Will always go by when ever in the area.

The brisket was out of this world perfectly smoked, incredibly juicy, and fork-tender. Each bite was like a flavor explosion! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, with just the right amount of seasoning. And lets talk about the sides creamy mac and cheese, delicious coleslaw, and a unique green chili hominy that complemented the meats beautifully. The service was friendly and quick, adding to the overall fantastic experience. While traveling out of state, we arrived here as a surprise on my birthday. Upon arriving I noticed several tables with debris and trash. These tables remained un-cleaned throughout the rest of my familys lunch. The menu doesnt offer too many options. The sando (sandwich) lunch special averages about $14-15 dollars for a sandwich, chips and iced tea. No substitutions allowed (even with an up-charge). I added an additional side order of the mac n cheese. As a frequent enjoyer of BBQ, this location was probably the most expensive Ive ever been to. The sweet tea wasnt at all sweet and tasted of mildew. The Mac n cheese was doused in black pepper. The pulled pork sandwich was the better part of my meal. The rest of my family ordered the pinto beans, pulled pork, brisket and fries. The report from them regarding the fries was too salty and spicy. Everything else was (the beans and the brisket ) okay but not good enough to return or recommend.

Great food! Brisket burnt ends were amazing! Pecan cobbler alamode, OMG! We intend to stop again on return trip next week. Do not get fooled by outside appearance. Restaurant is extremely clean, great AC, and a staff that is about as friendly as you will find. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Prices are a little high for a BBQ joint but food was great! We were about $67 for just the two sandwiches, a side of mac, and two sodas.

The brisket was fine but the burnt ends were the exact brisket cut up in pieces. That was very disappointing. I had eaten it from their food truck before and thought the restaurant would be just as good but it wasnt. The green chili hominy wasnt as good either. . Also, it was too hot in the restaurant.

Had lunch there last week. Ordered at the counter and received food about five minutes later during a busy lunch crowd. I had a burnt ends sandwich, chips, and tea for $15. The sandwich was amazing. I also ordered the barbeque eggrolls to share with my friend and they were delicious; melted cheese, brisket, and green chili inside a deep fried eggroll. Love this place and cant wait to go back.

Wanted to give them a try, waited in line a long time just for the girl to take a phone call when it was our turn that ordered the last of burnt ends at only 5:30 in the evening. We had planned on ordering that, and was there first. Girl at the front was horrible with customer service all the way around. We just left because that was absurd.

Totally disappointed with this place. After spending $97. For 2 people which Im ok with we ended up feeding most of it to a stray cat. Food had a pronounced plastic taste which was a big turn off. Im assuming that it was reheated by microwave in a plastic container Go to Tylers for the Best smoked barbecue in Amarillo

On a road trip from Fresno to Tulsa and back. Driving through Amarillo looking for barbecue late one night, found this place and it was amazing. The food was excellent and staff were friendly, we even talked to the pitmaster. We had the fried okra, mac and cheese, ribs, brisket, and cheddar jalapeno sausage. We will definitely be stopping here.

OMG! I have been craving BBQ for so long! Josh & I were heading home to Colorado from Oklahoma and we came across Pork N Things on the internet. We agreed, we needed to stop in and have early dinner and fuel ourselves for the last 4 hour drive. This is hands down the best BBQ we ve had in years! We didn t get to enjoy the good weather outside on their patio and listen to the band (good weather, live music, beer = a fabulous Sunday) Pork N Things, come to Colorado!! Lol.

Great food and prices. Loved the atmosphere and was very clean/well kept space. Got the briskey mac and wife got the lunch special with chopped brisket. Frito pie under the mac was a surprise, but a welcome one (reading comprehension is not always strong with me >.<). Sweet tea was divine. Dont forget to ask for the onions, pickles, and jalapeños!

What a great place. Loved the ribs and brisket. They were so tender. Their calf fries were great as well. No liquor license yet but they let us BYOB. I cant wait for summer they have a great looking beer garden planned. It had a San Antonio BBQ vibe. Nicely redone from former place. Lots of TVs for sports events. Give it a try.
