Boy Howdy is Aperitivo DELISH! We have been here many times and the food and service is top notch. Sue is such a ray of sunshine every time we come in and all of the staff is so polite and welcoming, feels like coming over to a life long friends house every time we walk in. I highly suggest trying the Italiano sandwich, the meat is very tasty and the veggies are super fresh. Their boards are amazing as well. I would give 6 stars if I could!

I had the Lemon Basil Chicken Sandwich and it was SPECTACULAR. High quality deli-style sandwich, and I took a bowl of their soup of the day home. Ms. Sue is another treat. Lovely place with delicious menu. I will be back.

Beautiful, creative, and fresh meals and energy - and the warmest welcome! We felt back at home in France. A small business worth showering with love! Our meal began with a surprise amuse-bouche and dragonfruit aqua fresca. The strawberry jalapeño basil appetizer was a lovely and unique blend of flavors and textures. My only critique would be to toast the bread a bit further so the strawberry juice doesn t make it soggy while I m savoring the other slices. We ordered the club, with the recommendation from a kind regular customer next to us to replace the chips with fruit. It was enormous! The fruit was plated like a charcuterie board, crisp, and full of flavor. We were so stuffed that we decided to take our lemon cake with us on the road for a picnic. We can t wait! One of the delights was listening to the owners communicate with their employees. They were so kind, eager to teach and encourage, and patient through the lunch rush. Apperitivo was a delightful surprise on our road trip. We wish the owners all the best on their dream for this restaurant.

We stumbled on this place just looking for something different for lunch. We loved it. The interior is cozy and comfortable. You d also question whether you were in a restaurant, a coffee shop or someone s living room. The restaurant is in a small strip center that doesn t really face the street. The sign outside of the restaurant is small so you won t notice it if you re just driving by. It doesn t look like much on the outside but inside is such a pleasant surprise. I had the lemon basil chicken salad sandwich. Oh my word! I m picky about chicken salad and this was so delicious. It s not cheap, but it s fresh and filling. It is served on a croissant with a cute lemon garnish. My husband had the pastrami and really liked it. We ordered a side of fruit and this isn t like any other side of fruit we ve ever gotten at a different restaurant. It was big and had unique fruit not cantaloupe and melon. Their charcuterie boards come in a variety of sizes and are so pretty and look amazing. The service was wonderful and they were so eager to please. Definitely worth a visit and great option if you need a charcuterie board for a party, event, etc or if you just want to come with a couple of friends and eat off of one.

Presentation and small bites that accompany the sandwich order seems to have gone down. Last years to go order. *pictured with 2 sandwiches. Tried the italian and pastrami sandwich. Both were toasted, warm, and flavorful. They are filling on their own, but come with a bag of chips and assortment of fruit. Presentation of food is amazing! This is also one of the few places in town that greet you when you enter. It is a cozy/petite environment.

I stopped in with my family of 3 for a late lunch and ended up leaving with dinner too! The environment is lovely, food delicious, and staff knowledgeable and kind. I m so glad we have this business here in Abilene and I know we ll be back! Thank you, Sue and Nicole, for a lovely experience today.

I can t even begin to explain how awesome it was on my first time trying it. Let s start off by saying, the warm welcome you get as soon as you come in is unbeatable. I got the pleasure to meet the chef/owner my first time and Sue (hope I spelled that right). She dove into all their menu options when she found out it was our first time. We even were told about off menu options which were incredible. I have been back 3 times now and will continue to do so. You can tell they make the food with love and their attention to details is amazing. Pictured with the review is their deviled eggs and their beef stew w/cornbread.

I distinctly recall my unforgettable dining experience at a restaurant with an incredibly warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly hardworking and kind, and the food was nothing short of amazing! I ordered the off-menu chuck roast sandwich, and it was absolutely filling and flavorful. Its no surprise that the chef is a Michelin star recipient, as the quality of the food was simply exceptional. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a top-notch dining experience that will leave you thoroughly impressed.

I dont even know how I found this place, but Im so glad I did! My husband and I went in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The service was very good and everyone working there was extremely friendly. My husband got the Italiano and said it was the best sandwich he had ever had. I got the tea sandwich tower, and I cant pick a favorite (maybe the chicken salad) because they were all delicious! Im so excited to try the Italian beef when it hits the menu! Born and raised in Chicago, my expectations are high, LOL. Give this place a try!

I literally crave this place. I have loved everything I have ordered on the menu. The chicken salad is fantastic and so were the goat cheese strawberry jam appetizer. I have ordered several charcuterie boards and all have been wonderful. Thank you Alex and team for the great customer service and enjoyable dining experience. I live out of town and I can t wait to go back.

The atmosphere was fantastic and the employees were very nice and knowledgeable. My friend told me about this place and was immediately curious. They offered me a sample of the basil chicken salad (which was delicious ), so I ended up getting their tea sandwich trio for my friends and I to try. It was a hit with all of us. One person, while I was there, got the meat and cheese charcuterie for one and I was definitely impressed with the amount of food that came with it. Highly recommend.

I went to aperitivo today and was absolutely blown away. The food and atmosphere is curated down to the tiniest detail. Beautiful presentation, beautiful stoneware and platters and so nicely decorated. The owner + Sebastian made us feel so special and valued, and you can tell by how much they truly love what they do not only by the quality and taste, but by their attitude and attention to detail. I don t need to tell you the food is good. Try it yourself!! Thanks again for making my birthday special!! Being from out of state there s not many places that feel like home but yours does

The food was amazing. The service is incredible the owners were so nice. And the atmosphere was so relaxing I could have stayed here for hours. I didnt love the tea sandwiches they were a little bland a dry. The Italiano was the best sandwich Ive ever tasted. The crustini was delicious. The Italian sodas were delicious. The lemon basil chicken salad was the best chicken salad Ive ever had. The per uno box had tons of variety and was perfect! I will definitely be coming back.
