Visited the newly refinished playground. The best for older kids (to late teenage) that Ive encountered in Wylie so far, without giving up options for younger kids. Well-designed! Playground: Short, moderate and tall profile play areas. Something for just about any aged kid

Very nicely kept grounds. Would be nice to schedule a food Service truck with drinks and snacks for folks who dont plan ahead. Some covered seating would be nice as well for babies and grandparents, we cant stay in direct sunlight due to a lot of medicine. Love the sidewalk. Considerate addition. Enjoyed our first visit.

Nice little park across from the baseball field. Playground equipment for Littles and bigger kids. Pavillion for shade and a picnic. I think there are bathrooms too but didnt get a chance to verify. Parking is plentiful. Not a lot of shade for playground area. Everything is very clean.

My kids have been playing baseball games here and use these fields for practices as well. There are four fields in this area. Its big ,neat and has a buffet to buy snacks during games. The buffet is not open all the time just during games. There are restrooms as well for males and females. Its clean and at the center of all the fields. But beware the restrooms are closed on Sundays you need to use the parks restroom which is down the road, really close still will take 5 min to walk,be careful with that the field has cages too. Its above the park, before the baseball fields, right next to the parks parking lot. We love it here, lucky to have these fields in Wylie

Community Park is great. Its always pretty well kept and even when it is busy it seems like there is enough room for everyone. The playground is nice and has fairly new play equipment. There are several basketball goals and the baseball parks are always in good shape. There are batting cages too that are kept in really good shape too. Theres a nice concrete walking path around the whole park and it is in good shape too. I dont remember any unlevel spots along the concrete that would be a trip hazard or anything. The only critique I have is that some of the grass fields drain kind of poorly and there are some places where it gets a bit marshy. Another small critique is that the bathrooms are always a bit rough. They are what youd expect at a community park. Every time I have ever been at the park the grass has been cut to a very reasonable level. Its a well maintained park.

Several different fields available to use. While there are a couple different restrooms, all of them were locked, possibly due to the time of year. It wouldve been nice to see those open. Really cool batterpiller and octopitcher sculptures.

Have a 5 year who join baseball, and his practice fields are at the very end. Have to go through other baseball fields to get to ours. My kids get distract in the process of going to our fields. Why would you put the little guys fields so far from the parking lots.

Be very careful at this park if you don t like dogs or you are walking your dogs. People daily bring their dogs to this park and don t put them on leashes. I have had multiple occasions where dogs have run up to my dog (who is always on a leash) and threaten her. I ve even had their owners get into altercations with me, on three different occasions. Keeping your dog on a leash is the law and it s even posted but people don t seem to care.
