Wow. Love this place. Can pull up in the boat and know it s safe. Atmosphere is fantastic. Staff is no less than awesome always. And you ll always see (at least I do, Mr GuadalaHarry!!!! Fox is always good. Have yet to have anything bad and have been visiting for years. Try it out. I doubt you ll be disappointed!!

Food was OK. Fish taco are so-so, but the fried fish was good! They ran out of unsweetened tea??? How??? The waitress looked as if she has ran a marathon. She came by the table a couple times but really didnt have any other tables to deal with? Just a strange vibe. Great view though?

I went in there after a long day of working For a couple drinks I ordered a glad youve got a couple refills on it some really good food that had amazing gumbo the food was amazing my issue was when I got my bill I had 9 glasses of sweet tea just cause Ive been working since 4 AM got in there at 7 and I was horrified to see that I got charged for each individual refill without a being mentioned to me prior I dont have anything against the food or the place itself the atmosphere was very nice overlooking like Conroe the food was amazing the waiter wasnt as attentive as I would have liked the place wasnt even that busy Its not anything bad to say other than the fact that as a texton I was horrified to pay $20 for a couple glasses of sweet tea Thats the type of thing you mentioned prior and I just feel like the wait staff kind of failed to mention that I would have gotten water as a self-respecting Texan I feel robbed It wasnt even sweet tea it was unsweet and 20 bucks for a couple of couple glasses of tea is absolutely insane I did have 2 mixed drinks that were phenomenal but I have to get another waiters attention just to get several occasions my waiter was pretty and I think she was able to skirt on her good looks for most of her waiting career Not her service nor her ability to communicate so a simple things like just what youre wearing refills due cost money I dont really have anything bad to say about the place just was horrified to see that on my bill kind of screwed the waiter out of a good tip on principle II believe workmens do their wages so I did tipper but not nearly as much as I would have been willing to if this isnt I am definitely my incident had not occurred Please just if youre going guys know it is a nice place the food is enjoyable just dont get the other sweet tea order water

Went in twice for dinner. Sat on the patio once and indoor the next time. We got to meet Harry himself. Pleasant person! Food was delicious and came in large portions! Drinks were cold and yummy! Our waitress the first time was so sweet! The second time, our waitress seemed like we were bothering her and she hated our job. I had the BLT Poboy while my husband had the Gumbo. Both were soooooo delicious! Would definitely return and is a great place with a beautiful view of Lake Conroe!

First off the food is fantastic. Iv tried just about it all over the past year or so and I have yet to be disappointed. Drink wise (talking alcoholic drinks) I do have a few things I d love to see change just to up the drink game compared to other places but none the less you ll still see me order with no complaints. Atmosphere you can t beat it. Very laid back fun vibe. Indoor or outdoor it doesn t matter, gives that feeling of a beach side venue. Service is always solid. I have not had a single issue with my orders or been left wondering if my waitress is coming back or not.

I canNOT believe this. Weve been reading the mixed reviews and joking about how Harrys charges almost $10 for chips & salsa but we never bothered to see for ourselves. So we learned something: dont judge a book by its prices, and write your own reviews. We had a thoroughly excellent lunch there yesterday - not one dish was less than great. We just kept smiling and eating and laughing about how wed almost missed trying this place. True, its a little expensive for a lakefront restaurant/bar in Willis. But we were there to give it a test across several dishes, so we started with the ceviche ($19.50) - excellent flavors throughout, super fresh and nicely marinated fish. Our only complaint was the very low shrimp count - 90% fish. Then Harrys Burger - $18.25 at dinner but $13-something at lunch. It was, in a word, outstanding. Half-pound burger cooked perfectly medium rare as requested, super fresh lettuce and tomatoes, great sauteed onions, cheese and a runny egg. This now has my vote as the #1 burger on the lake, just edging out Conroe Lakehouses Hangover Burger ($16). You cant go wrong with either one. The mushroom & spinach quesadillas ($19.50) were also great - fresh, well balanced filling and a perfectly grilled tortilla. More than we could eat but they were great that night reheated. The gumbo is very good, but at $9.75 for a cup thats about half rice, it really oughta be. The roux is dark and complex, all the flavors well defined - it compares well to Pappadeauxs, and thats saying something. So color us officially corrected. We judged a place based on some negative reviews and its prices, which just isnt fair. While this is indeed the most expensive restaurant on the lake, it might just be worth it. I know well be coming back, hoping its just as good the next time. Follow up: we have now been back five or six times. It is absolutely just as good if not better than it was on this first visit.

Food sucks so badly.. The queso burger was a gross mess to say the least.. The kids mini corn dogs were over fried and saturated with grease s disgusting fries.. Mac and cheese had strange Italian herbs and spices that tasted horrible Crab cake stuffed shrimp were way over priced and served with strange and disgusting sauces.. horrible tourist trap/booze bar. Seating is nice and the servers that s about it. Gross gross gross Over $200 later. The food sucks big disappointment.!

Took a seafood platter. Shrimps had a taste of cooked frozen food (update : they were pribably getting bad). Fried onion rings were burned, how come ? And the fried catfish was tasteless (the fry was coming off). And garden salade not tasty neither. Cocktails, where is the rum ?! A customer had his little dog sitting and walking on the table. When he changed tables, nobody cleaned the table where the dog had his paws and butt on. Disgusting ! Napkins were on the floor beside us, not one waiter picked them up.

I have been hearing about this place on the radio for quite some time and I was super excited to give them a try and I was extremely disappointed. The food was absolutely horrible. It was definitely way overpriced for what we received. Our ticket was about $200, we had two appetizers two entrées and one kids meal. I hate to say the experience was terrible.

Food, atmosphere, music, waitress were all great. I would definitely go here again. Only reason Im not giving this place 5 stars now is because of the way one of the staff members acted and what the bartender allowed. We were a group of 4 that showed up at 9:20pm on Fathers Day. This one staff member, maybe the guy in charge, seemed irritated as soon as me and wife walked through the doors. The guy immediately approached our table to let us know that the kitchen closed at 9:30. No problem, so we put our order in before ordering drinks. However, the entire time we were at the restaurant, this irritated worker was throwing his hand ups, rolling his eyes, looking at each table like he needed everybody to leave. I get the feeling, but the restaurant and bar were a disaster, and there were other guests....so regardless of us being there, we shouldve been the least of his of problems if he wanted to leave on time. Lastly we watched this guy and the bartender served an overly drunk guy another beer (literally falling over). We then watched the drunk guy light up a joint at the bar directly in front of the irritated worker and bartender. We had a toddler with us within 5 feet of the guy. Found the drunk guy passed out outside when we left, thank God. Great place, irritated worker guy sucked though.

Usually this is where we want to eat crawfish. However, June 9th the crawfish though large were tough and hard to get loose from shell. When you are charging the kind of prices charged for crawfish you better make sure whomever is cooking knows what they are doing consistently! Lets talk atmosphere. I know this is a bar and grill and the acoustics inside are horrible anyway but we did not sit outside because of karaoke and then they raise the large door near where we sat inside and we could hear the awful singing and music so loud and clear we could not carrying on a conversation without yelling. Come on, have a little respect and forethought for ALL your customers! Not sure we will go back and definitely will not recommend to others as we have in the past.

My wife and I had cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings and drinks, which sounds pretty basic. However, the food was really great! It s hard to find good onion rings, but these surpassed my expectations! We also enjoyed sitting outside on the upper deck, where we could view Conroe Lake and watch boaters come and go. The only reason I chose an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars was because, in my opinion, the entire menu is significantly overpriced. I would definitely go back, but only occasionally due to the cost.

Weve been here before and got their fish tacos. They were really good. This time, however, all three dishes were not good. Being from Louisiana, I got red beans and rice. They tasted as if out of a can. Wife got the grilled fish tacos. She said they were bland. Her aunt got the pulled pork sandwich, and she said there was not much flavor. The cherry on top was the check. It came out to $64 plus tip! Youre basically paying for the view. We arent going back.

4/5/24....We went to have crawfish today! Was delicious and had amazing service from Debbie! She was awesome! Wonderful relaxing atmosphere hiding in our little side cabana...enjoyed our day and experience! The food was really good but the catfish platter was a little smaller than I expected for the price. The view is always beautiful. We are still in a pandemic so it makes me personally a little nervous that the staff wasnt wearing masks when on the website it says masks are required. A little confusing honestly. I know the mask mandate has been dropped but I would like the person handling my food to still wear a mask. They were still very friendly and we received good service. My mom and sister had the Monday madness burger special and said they were amazing burgers for a great price! Update 6/3/22 just celebrated my birthday today and the service was amazing Harry came to visit and check on us and was very friendly! The Mrs. Harrys chicken sandwich and onion rings ARE TO DIE FOR! DO NOT eat at this restaurant. They treat their staff like garbage. Their food is over priced made in the microwave trash. The owner yells at all of his staff including the young women that work there. Their food is too expensive and all their drinks from the bar taste like watered down toilet water. Save your money and eat at an establishment worthy of your money. Someone hire all their young staff so they no longer have to suffer at the clutches of Harry of whatever his actual name is. The entertainment offered is subpar at best. With an overwhelming atmosphere and dirty bathrooms. Don t bother washing your hands because even the sinks are disgusting. This is at no fault to the young staff because I know they re doing their best working through their tears caused by their scary boss. They adverse they make their own cheese cake but word on the street they get a massive order for the Cheesecake Factory once a week. Disingenuous owners and over cooked steak. The only thing you will take away from your dining experience here is a hearing problem and an upset stomach.

We came out with some friends, one of which suggested this spot. It is a nice spot, right on the lake, we sat out on the deck and enjoyed the view. We had a group of 9 to 10 and our server was good about keeping up with drinks and making sure everyone had what they were supposed to. The gator bites were very good in my opinion, the fried pickles kinda not so much. My wife got the chicken sandwich and I got the catfish platter. The catfish was pretty good and my wifes chicken sandwich was very good as well. Their onion rings are so big they could be bracelets, good flavor to some, others not so much. We even got to meet Harry, who was very nice and thanked us for coming out as he seemed to walk around and chat with everyone. I liked the experience and hope to make it out there again. I would recommend this place though Im looking forward to trying the stuffed fish, Im eager to see how that tastes. Ill get back with yall on that.

Fantastic gorgeous spot. Was recommended by a friend who loves it. Our wings were fantastic but the queso and the kids Mac and cheese tasted very manufactured. All this would have been fine but our waiter was overall very poor. Wouldnt check up on food, very slow for bringing drinks, and very bad at giving recommendations of any type. It wasnt insanely busy so timely service should have been easily attainable. After inquiring about the issues, I kid you not, his excuse was that after you didnt order drinks, I had to focus on tables with larger tabs. With my wife being obviously pregnant, I would still hope for decent service. I repeatedly kindly suggested he should never say that but he laughed it off saying he was just wanting to be honest. I would love to go back as the location is great but the lack of training in the staff is apparent. Seems to be a trend from other comments.

Great casual dining with a view of Lake Conroe. My favorite is the queso burger and onion rings. Ive seen people bring dogs in to dine on the patio. Not sure if all dogs are welcome or if its a service dog policy, but is really nice to see pups there! There are stairs up to this second floor restaurant and there is an elevator available as well. Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator available to enter the second story restaurant and the tables are comfortably spaced. Room for wheelchairs.

Here s the deal: Guadalaharry s is convenient, it s a good idea, we like being able to come in off the water and grab a quick bite to eat and watch some tv, but the prices and the overbearing owner make it not so enjoyable. Every time we come here it s more and more expensive. Who is paying $34 for fried shrimp from a BAR that is on top of a CONVENIENCE STORE. It s ridiculous. The place is not nice enough, and the food is not good enough to justify those prices. Again, every time we ve come here the wait staff and bartenders have been great. But it is very clear to everyone that the owner is a total control freak who does not respect nor trust his employees. He s constantly running around yelling at them, getting in their way, and creating more problems than he is fixing. It s clear that they have a high turnover rate because no one wants to work for someone who is a control freak. It s very distracting when we re just trying to have a good time. Anyway, we will probably keep going here because there s a lack of other options, but I really just feel bad for the workers who are clearly just trying to do their jobs. Lol

The atmosphere was good. I feel like it was overpriced for what it was. Food was okay but expensive. We went for crawfish and then they ran out so that wasnt cool. Sunday nights are karaoke and that was fun. Friday nights live band. Kids menu is like 11 dollars per meal and adults 17-25 per meal.

Outstanding food. Weve never been to Lake Conroe and tried this place for dinner. WOW! Delicious variety of food. Excellent service. Harry, the owner, came to our table to assist. He is so very nice. He talked us into a slice of banana cheesecake. Again, WOW!! 5 stars. Food

Great atmosphere and view, but the food was disappointing and bland compared to the other reviews. Not sure if it was just this time but it was our first (and probably last) visit. The tacos (fish, chicken, and beef) tasted like they were microwaved. Everyone else said their food was okay I guess but not worth the price. Amazing view at least. We had a party of ten, six adults and four children. The consensus was the food was bland, overpriced, and small portions. The atmosphere is pleasant if youre on the deck but it was too hot to sit outside. Avoid this place.

Harry seems like a nice guy. I love seeing a vested owner. Had a great burger. Check out the monster onion rings! Nautical fans will feel at home. A note for whom it may concern: it gets warm in here, half the bar opens to the outside. Folks with heat sensitivity or autoimmune problems may find summer months difficult to enjoy.

Atmosphere and view is the best ..the food absolutely blows though. Twice we tried to eat there and twice walked away hungry and ate at another restaurant. 2 nights ago had the saddest blackened chicken sandwich ever .also they have no idea what blackened is, it was just an unseasoned piece of meat. I literally cut a piece of the meat off and tried it and pushed the whole plate away untouched. The waitress said oh that sucks when I told her it wasn t good. Of course she charged me for it, thanks for that again So come for the singo-bingo but don t attempt to order food. Oh and $11 for fried pickles?!? It a freaking pickle, that s fried. All the food is WAY over priced

I will come back to this place time and time again. The burgers we got were great and the drinks were fantastic. I love nothing more than when the owners come out and just say whats up to their customers and thats exactly what Harry did. He was dressed in an all Astros outfit and I just loved him! We also got dessert and the German chocolate cheesecake was rich and yummy! The kids enjoyed their lava cake. We launched our boat from here also and there is a gas station below the restaurant as well as a gas station to stop and fill up your boat/jet skis. I cant say enough good things. Very convenient and we will be going back for sure. Try this place because I promise you will not be disappointed! Kid-friendliness: Its extremely family-friendly. In the back at the entrance to their dock, there is a jumbo connect four game and my kids really liked the wooden rocking horse Harry has in the restaurant. Kids loved eating by the water and watching all the boats and jet skis launch and stop by.

This is best described as a waterfront style diner. My wife and I went when it was slow, customer wise, and got settled in just as some weather was forming in the distance. Our server was very friendly and quick to offer suggestions. The food is made in-house with generous portions of both food and the sauces/condiments. There are plenty of napkins available and they will be needed. The drink choices are tailored to the humid, hot environment of a lake in Texas. The two drinks we had were a Mango Margarita and the Swamp Water and they were perfect for taking the edge off the muggy heat. The alligator bites are something everyone should try. Their burgers are cooked to the doneness of your choosing and it was cooked accurately. When the weather turned, the staff was quick to roll the outdoor seating shades down to protect as much of the eating area as possible. I highly recommend this restaurant and only regret that we didnt try it when there was live music. Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator for access to the restaurant

I tried sharing some of this feedback with the staff, but I dont think anyone there cared last night. The menus had mold on them which makes me question the whole place, honestly. I know theyre busy enough to not care about one groups opinion, but with the prices where they are, this is unacceptable. Its asking for you to expect a top tier experience but provide dirty bathrooms, dirty restaurants, moldy menus, and staff that doesnt know what to do when you ask for a simple drink like a vodka martini dirty on the rocks (sounds complicated, but its not.)

Loved the atmosphere outside. Walking in, the bar towels smelled like your worst dish rag. Waitress was sweet. Jalapeño bun & cheese did not add flavor to the quality beef hamburger, needed some salt at the very least. Onion rings were beautiful but tasteless. Blue moon was good yum! Sweet tea lacked flavor. Water was not drinkable in my opinion. Great attentive staff. Ask the chef to taste his dishes perhaps? Food is not worth the money.
