My mom stays here. In the beginning, the food was edible, the rate reasonable and the staff was nice. She is about to start her third year as a resident. They just notified us of the second rate increase since her first year. Theyve increased her small one-bedroom rate by $400 per month. Its a damn shame they think this is ok for elderly folks on fixed incomes. Plus, the food has gone downhill (three cooks have quit ... or maybe four) and the management is cold and uncaring. Very disappointed in this place.

I love Royal Estates! They have everything you or your loved one needs all in once place! They provide weekly transportation to the store and doctors appointments. They have wonderful activities and endless things for residents to do including a theater room, billiard room, arts and crafts room, and a game room! There are several puzzle tables and conversation areas for just hanging out with friends. And you cant beat an in house salon and barber shop for getting your hair done! They serve 3 meals a day which are absolutely delicious! The staff and in house care team are all amazing! I couldnt recommend this place more!

This is a grand place for your loved ones. They donate alot to my Ministry. Texoma Paying it Forward. My mother wanted to stay here before she passed. I feel if I couldve gotten her here. Shed still be with us today. Its a place to call home n my mother so wanted to be there. Its what she called a grand statement. Its home n welcome. Our house had a stairway at the entrance I grew up in..just like Royals. Veronica/Vicki

This facility is beautiful and very clean. All the staff is pleasant and very accommodating. The residents all seem very happy to be there and from my conversations with them they love participating in the events that Royal Estates frequently puts together for them! I would recommend this facility to any family or friends looking for an amazing facility.

Love this community! When you walk in, the atmosphere is energetic, the areas are clean, and youre greeted with smiles. Their Director of Sales, Lacee, shes incredible. You wont be disappointed with the service there!

I lived at Royal Estates for 1 year in 2019. I like the activities and my room was adequate but the food was not good. As for the staff they were kind and comforting. I have recently returned to Wichita Falls and intend to stay. Spoke to Previous Exec Director and expressed my desire to return. Was turned down without a valid reason. The politics there are not good but I do miss it. Karen was an outstanding Activity Director and then housekeeping weekly is good. I believe I got a bad deal and would like to return. I recommend Royal Estates for anyone.

Karaoke for the residents is the last Friday of every month. Great turn out for the event every month,open to public to come sing or just join the fun and listen to wonderful singers

They are overpriced, they do not care what the elderly thinks, they ask them but nothing ever changes. They raise their rent over a hundred dollars every year. They charge them more every year to cover repairs and their raises, when that should come out of their profits. The food is not very good and they only will take them to their appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They dont spend hardly anything for their recreation and they dont care if they even dont see your parent around all day, they dont even check up on them. When they go to the hospital they dont ask how are they doing, but they are good advertising how much they care about their residents. All lies.

For the price you pay for an apt and then have to pay for nursing staff you can live at home and hire a full time lvn to take care of your loved one at they can be at home. Plus the bed bug problem is so bad there about to buy there own heat treatment machine. A problem has to be really bad and recurring for a company to drop over 20k for there own equipment after spending 2 yrs and paying other people to treat the building.

My mother in law currently resides here. The staff made every effort to make her transition as easy on her as possible and to make her feel welcome and comfortable. They offer many services and the environment is kept very clean. They are ADAMMENT about protecting her human rights and ensuring she remains as independent as possible while providing a safe atmosphere. Frequent activities are also offered.

I live here because it is the only senior home I can afford in Wichita Falls. The staff is all wonderful, both friendly and respectful, plus tries very hard to resolve any problem you may have to make you happy. My studio apt. is adequate except for a serious lack of closet space and nearly no other storage except the medicine cabinet. My apt is very noisy because it faces and is much too close to the freeway. The weekly housekeeping and linen service is very nice to have, and I have not experienced anything disappearing. The other residents report that they have also not had any theft problems. The food is just O.K. despite a very nice and approachable chef. The soups are very tasty. Too much breaded and fried foods, very little variety from week to week and the wait staff is rude at times. I have kidney disease which was improving with a Renal diet before I came here, but the admin. staff told me numerous times that they do NOT allow for special diets. I had to tell my Dr. that when she tried to order a Renal diet for me. The activities are minimal at best with very little variety from week to week, and most simply do not appeal to my tastes. Most of the other residents are nice on a superficial level, but not so much if you want eat a meal with them or join their card or domino game. It is only a little clicky compared to other places, and not so many snobs. The best part is the friendly, respectful and kind staff, and they are all very nice to my 2 tiny little dogs.

Love the seniors there. So very sweet & seem happy. We play bluegrass gospel once a month for them. We have a great bunch of sweet people that come to listen. We love doing the music for them.

Im a home health nurse and have worked with numerous residents at Royal Estates for almost 5 years. I highly recommend their community. The nurses and staff are very compassionate, friendly and dedicated to providing the best care possible. If my family members need a higher level of care, I will recommend Royal Estates!

As a former employee of Royal Estates, a night time security officer I would like to let people know about this facility. I was interviewed and was told to do anything I could to stay a wake, even to use my cell phone, even though the policies said different. Then when I tried to go by the policies and not be on the cell phone I brought a box that had crossword puzzles and other stuff to keep me off my cell then they make it to where I could not bring the box but the person before me was crocheting. I have always prided my self because I have never lied to a employer. But I got lied on about playing with the time clock when I am still writing my times on paper when I got there to the day I had gotten terminated. Then at the meeting i had to walk to I ask for proof they could not provide any and all they said is that they have a signed statement of that but no video proof just a signed statement of a lier. The residents are very nice it is the workers and management that you have to worry about lieing on you. As in applying here to work here dont do it. And to keep your grandmother or other family members here it is to expensive and I would never want them around people who thrives on lieing. Thanks for reading this. Im a former employee of senior lifestyle corporation at the Royal Estates of Wichita Falls tx... very good place to live for the residents.... but not worth a damn to work at management gets your hopes up and them hires someone in the position that they told you was going to be in then make up write ups so they can fire you... so if you are looking for somewhere for grandma or grandpa to live great place... but as far as employment I wouldnt wipe my ass with the application
