The service is very personable. They are open to customizing and accommodating any preference they have the ingredients for beyond what is listed on the menu. We have asked for different combos as well as changing tofu from fried to soft. For this area, its a good option for Indian food. I would recommend giving it a try.

I love good Indian food, but this place just sucks. The limited hours and service are absolutely awful. And its expensive with a limited menu. Like a lot of ethnic food restaurants they dont understand the concept of selling you a meal with a main course and sides. So you have to order a lot more than you actually want. And even though the place is always empty, it takes them 45 minutes to an hour after ordering to serve your food. It takes forever with refills and everything, and they have no buffet. And to top it off they have roaches in the kitchen according to a recent inspection. Yuck! Wichita Falls is better off with no Indian restaurant at all than this place.

The food is great, but they are exceptionally slow. I ordered food and was told it would be 45 minutes and arrived in 50 minutes and was told it would be another 10 minutes. That happened last time too. Since you can t order till they open at 4, I wish they d get a little faster. I come here on my way through town and still have 1.5 hour drive after this.

So tried Indian food for the first time today. All I can say is it was absolutely amazing. Yes I know I have no way to compare it to others being my first time. But, I can say other places have big shoes to fill because I don t think can top this place it really is that good.

In from Dallas/California respectively for the Cowpokes Film Festival and stopped in here for our first meal at location. Wow, the food was great. Service was great and Rah s cooking was pretty perfect. We ate vegan and meat dishes. The vegan cauliflower is amazing. Come try it!

Had the same issues as other reviewers most of the staff unprofessional and look unkept possibly on drugs. Place feels and looks dirty dont feel safe taking my family. Food was okay. Wish there was another option. You should see the snarky response from the manager. They wont stay in business long.

Came around 5pm on a Saturday was told it would be a long wait because they need to get To-Go orders done, thats fine Ill come back. Came back and there was only one table free, the rest were filthy from customers that were there prior (About an hour before I came back and they looked mostly done when I was there) They werent busy at the time at all but the hostess was too buy talking to her friends to take our order, and nobody was cleaning the plates that were stacked everywhere. The cook came out and got our orders. One of the best things at Indian restaurants is getting the homemade naan, skip it here, its prepackaged you get at Walmart. I got the Tikka at a 6 on heat, and got another dish with a heat of 2, and the 2 was WAY hotter than the 6 I got. They give you about 1/4 cup of rice, which is crazy rice cost next to nothing. Sad that Wichita Falls has no other option for Indian food, I would skip this place. We got a mysterious Open Food charge on our bill as well. SKIP THIS PLACE.

OMG this is the best Indian food I have had in a whilee!!! I ordered the Chicken tikka Masala, a side of rice and Mango Lassi through uber eats. Unfortunately, I DID NOT GET my Mango Lassi but I got two plates of rice, Im guessing that was the compensation. Overall, I must say that the serving portioning is the best and definetly worth the price. The food slapped hard and coming from an African, the spice level was perfect! May have even been better with the Mango lassi. However, I will keep ordering from here and I might even come in person one day! I was very skeptical about ordering at first but I am so glad I did!!! Keep up the good work!

When our dinner plans fell through (the recommended restaurant was too busy) we opted to pick up food here since it was close to our hotel. We were delightfully surprised by how good the food was. Both the tikka masala and saag paneer were delicious - well seasoned with the right amount of heat. Glad the other place was packed and we got to eat here.

We had a very bad experience at this restaurant. Very rude staff and average food. We Indians are supposed to be known for our hospitality, but this restaurant (ironically named Namaste india) is a shame. Would give a negative rating if possible. Here in Wichita Falls for a contract. Someone at work suggested Namaste. I just got the Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic and butter Naan. And to wash it down I got the Mango Lassi. Super delicious!!!! We eat Indian all over the country (we have been full time RV traveling for the past 5.5 years) and this is some of the best Indian food weve had. The fresh green juice was soooo good I got two! Spinach pakoras were perfection. The cauliflower Gobi Manchurian was delicious great recommendation from the waitress for my food allergies (gluten free, vegan, allergic to dairy, eggs peanuts and almonds) Hubs loved the chicken Tikka and tandoori chicken.

The Namaste Indian Restaurant has to be the best Indian Restaurant in Texas. I have been traveling across the nation and I had a 2 week job commitment in Witicha Falls, TX. I stayed in the Tru Hilton which was a 5 min walk away from the restaurant. The first week, I ordered out which was a 45+ min wait. I spoke with the Chef and asked him why it took so long to prepare food. It all has to do with employee retainabilty issues in Witicha Falls and him having to run all aspects of the restaurant. The second week, I ordered out again and I was prepared for the wait expectations...the wait was worth it the time! Quality comes with time...just like in Europe, the food comes out slower because it is ALL cooked to order. I live in Las Vegas and I have not experienced Indian food any better than in Witicha Falls, TX. It is a hidden gem! If you do not drive out of your way while in TX to eat at Namaste Indian Restaurant...you have done yourself a disservice!

Oh man this place was fantastic I truly mean that. Food was taking a little while, we only noticed because we were so hungry but when it came out oh it was so worth it. You can tell from the first bite that it was freshly made and was homemade not a fast food pre prep kind of dish. First time going here but definitely not the last time. We were visiting from Denver, thinking of relocating here, but 1 of our requirements is a good Indian restaurant. We were sorely disappointed here. The sauce was watery and not very flavorful. Most Indian restaurants ask you how spicy you want it. Mild, medium or hot. This place didnt. Our favorite place back home makes basmati rice, steamed with herbs. I swear here they used minute rice. The nice waitress offered me a mango drink of some kind, i dont remember the name, but it was like mango mixed with unflavored yogurt that had gone bad. Our meals were so bad we didnt finish them, and got some taco bueno to get the taste out of our mouths.

Not authentic indian. We got take out. Good service. I wanted to like it more than I did. Ordered dal ($11) butter chicken ($13) and two orders of garlic naan for $3 each. Totals to $30 but our total was $35. Our receipt didnt have the charges, only our final charge so it could have been taxes or something? Portions are decent. Our naan was burnt and had no garlic flavor. The dal had a chili taste to it. I was surprised that the rice didnt seem to be basmati since it was lacking the woodsy flavor that I love. The butter chicken was oily instead of creamy.

Gives namaste a whole new meaning, a delicious meaning! Service was excellent & food was outstanding. We had chicken biryani, chana masala, cauliflower Gobi Manchurian, all the types of naan, coffee & green lemonade. Tried all the sauces and highly recommend the tamarind sauce. Namaste has authentic Indian food!!!! This review is for the two Idiots Ayush and Sagar who gave namaste a bad review!! I was sitting next to the table i seen the chef and staff come check on you guys. The waitress bought you extra rice. I did not see u complain to them but seen u crying on google.Looked like yall ate everything you ordered. The restaurant may look empty but they are busy with togo orders all the time . Am a regular here and cry babies like you guys have no idea how hard it is to run a restaurant. You guys should just stay home and cook yourself . I feel like yall were just looking to complain and not tip the waitress she was very attentive to all the tables.

Waited for an hour to get our order when there is nobody in the restaurant. Waitress is too lazy and never asked for anything once she bring food on the table. Food tastes too salty. Being the only indian restaurant in the town they should have done far better than this. Please don t waste your money here.

Stopped at Namaste in Wichita Falls for dinner on the way back home. Had samosas as an appetizer. I had chicken tikka masala with butter naan, my dad had chicken biryani and garlic naan, and my mom had goat curry with butter naan. All of it was really really good! Would definitely recommend coming here for some good Indian food.

There is a real art to Indian cuisine and the chef here is a master of it. The staff was friendly, gracious, and attentive to my husband s and my dietary needs. If we lived in the area, we d order this food weekly, at least. Not to mention the chai, which took me right back to India and filled my senses with thankfulness for a genuine experience. For a taste of authentic India in Wichita Falls, just say Namaste.

I saw the other great reviews and scheduled time to try it when I was last in Wichita Falls. The lamb korma was greasy and disappointing. The service was slow and equally disappointing. Perhaps when staffing has returned to normal I will try again.

Im a big fan of curry and you guys make an awesome curry but give a tiny portion of rice. If you cant give bigger portions of rice, at least update your menu so people can order extra rice. I even requested on Grubhub and was ignored. Still very good but always a disappointment on rice portion.

Today, I ate Spinach Pakori, Vegetable Korma, Garlic Naan along with Chai at Namaste Indian, it was a great experience for me. I was just passing by Wichita Falls, and I did not know, this restaurant exists. When I saw the restaurant, I just called to check if the restaurant exists, and the owner of the restaurant picked up the call, and took my order. When arrived, i found the restaurant atmosphere quite pleasant, probably because of the waitress being warm and welcoming. I have lived in West Texas for four years, and in these years, I have not found any indian restaurant which serve good food in the near by areas. Here, they had served me with freshly fired Pakore. I have seen it in a lot of the restaurants that they reheat or refry the Samose or Pakore, which dose not Taste good. I was already, really impressed with the Pakore and Tea. Then brought the Vegitable Korma along with Naan, which weee Also amazing. I found that they were very thoughtful in their service, as I had ordered two Naans (which certainly I could not have eaten, after a full plate of Pakoras), but they brought just one and said if you need the second one, just tell me, will make it fresh.

3.5stars for me. The tandoori chicken wasnt crispy like it should be. But was still flavorful The Naan bread was over cooked. Some snapped like chips other times they were perfect. I like to get tandoori chicken and put it in Naan bread then drizzle their yogurt sause. I think its that sause but idk its just good.

Updated May 2021 It seems they took the buffet option out or only do it at certain times. Either way, Im never there when they offer it. Regardless, food is still amazing. I absolutely love it. They did get different lighting, much nicer in there now. Only complaint at this point is that they are operating on limited hours. Original Review The food is absolutely great! I love the buffet because I can try it all. Staff is very friendly and wait times are little too none (most of the food is ready to go, but a few items require a wait). Now, what I dont care for. The lighting is very bright. Feels like a school cafeteria because of the florescent lights. Probably just being picky, but if you go in after dark, its a shock. The other thing is the price. A lunch price on the buffet would be nice.

I really LOVE namaste!! especially their vegetarian/non-vegetarian tari (I think that s what it s called). You get a lot of food with combo of 4-5 different curries & dessert for a really good price imo. My experiences there have always been good. Excellent customer service. After an accidental mistake with a previous order, they went above and beyond to make up for it. A lot of care and effort went into making a beautiful vegan curry. I ve been vegan for 7 years and this was the best Vegan Korma I m ever had, and having moved from the UK to Texas I have tried a lot! Best takeaway food I have had in Texas so far

I usually love the food. The food is amazing. They hate doordash though apparently. I will order on there because i love the convenience and multiple times they have cancelled thirty minutes after placing my order... then i have to wait a week for a refund through doordash. Idk if they re just busy and cant handle the additional online orders but they really need to turn it off if thats the case. Because through doordash it will literally show that theyre open and processing my order and then thirty minutes to sometimes even an hour later they will notice that they have an order and they will close their restaurant down through doordash. Its just really inconsiderate. I love the food amd was going once a week but its really inconvenient to be hungry and then realize thirty minutes after ive already ordered that my food isnt coming and now i have to wait a week for a refund through doordash. Please cancel doordash if you dont like doing online orders.

Namaste India is fantastic. I have been a regular customer since they opened, and the food has always been excellent. They have taken appropriate measures (at much cost) to protect the health of their customers during this pandemic and continue to be one of the very best places to eat in Wichita Falls. The korma, tikka masala, malai kofta, pakoras and other dishes (such as biriyani) are delicious. They are also very gluten free friendly.

Namaste USED to be great BUT now with 1. their original chef gone 2. the prices raised 3. the portions smaller eating in 4. the portion for take out smaller 5. the quality in the A. flavor B. appearance (plating) C. decorum of the place (untidy) our recent last three experiences take the original 5 stars down to two. Lets put it this way, a premade frozen Kernal Kebabs from International Grocers on Southwest (next to Vapor Village) or frozen entree from Natural Grocers, Market Street and even Wal-Mart, taste wise and cleanliness, is better. Eating off styrofoam, using plastic-ware is just substandard. If there is some Covid-19 excuse, thats all it is. Jefes for example has not gone downhill; their local nor Opas. Both examples of authentic, when you got a hankerin for world cuisine (Tex-mex and German) you can get there at those two restaurants what you expect I.e. consistent despite Covid-19. However, it seems the passion Namaste had at the beginning (long before the pandemic) and now has since that awesome chef they started with left, overtime, become the two Star review it gets now. Ive lived in India, myself...Im very considerate when it comes to Indian cuisine because I love-love the nation, culture, people and cuisines. Yet, the last time my wife, mother and myself went the feel and food had gone the way Taste of India (old joint at the Motel 6, years back) did when they lost their chefs. Here its worse. Specifics? Food was spoiled. Not all, some. Cutting corners, keeping food too long (like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares or Restaurant Impossible) with other things that while those may not be known back of house front of house comes out. Redeemable? Yes. But...the owner needs to revision or soon it will go belly up. Yes, this pandemic thing might have some effects like hours of operation but other than that I stand by this review.

Back for more, I Love the place, owner knows his food. I would come here two or three days a week. The Naan bread is the best I have ever had, just found out they have Garlic Naan too. Seems like they don t like online orders. Ordered 3 times each with less results than the last. The second meal I ordered had 90% bone and 10% meat. No big deal, maybe just a one time thing. Ordered for the third time and now I got a bowl of rice with a single chicken piece with a massive bone in it. Now I m forced to get a different meal completely. Will not order here again. Wouldn t recommend ordering online.
