Nice place to sit and play. Many 1 star reviews are calling them scalpers but these people do not understand collectibles and the market. This is the best place in town to play card and board games, and their prices have come down quite a bit over the past year. They have a great membership program that offers you amazing deals on your favorite games.

Heard a lot of good things from friends but the staff seemed annoyed by me just being in there. Whenever I asked a question the staff member would roll his eyes and scoff. Lesson learned, wont come in again.

I really feel like I have found a family at Nexus Game Lounge. Whether it s playing TCGs like Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Pokemon, Yu gi oh, or roleplaying games, the store works hard to create a fun exciting experience for its players.

Cant praise this place enough. Friendly staff, high quality gaming space, and great custom prints. Please support them, they rock! If I had one bit of feedback it would be to keep the upcoming restaurant and booze menu extremely simple. I would hate to see the value of this place hurt by bad restaurant margins.

Its a really nice place to look at. They also have a cool not really seen elsewhere option of 3D printing stuff for your hobbies, But they are not very inclusive when it comes to their game options. Yugioh, magic and those war hammer things. ALSO they are the type of shop that will sell WAY above MSRP. went in and saw some Disney Lorcana packs and was like oh cool! How much? For one I SINGLE pack? and they said $12.99....the MSRP on a single pack is 5.99. Then was their during a yugioh tournament and I JUST wanted to buy some dice for a game, over heard a worker talking to a player as he was counting head of people waiting in like at the register. Though I only wanted dice. I waited Ina long time and the non worker said wait why are you counting her? She dont look like shed be in the tornament. First of all, why? Did I not LOOK like a yugioh player? Becuase I could go get my deck if I need to. Second of all, how dare you allow someone to stereotype one look at me and agree that ya your right she dint look like she belongs here..that was very nice or inclusive to anybody. Worker didnt even try to come up and ask of o was therr for the tournament and counted me OUT! Not a place Id like to be of your gonna immediately judge me put the the jerks that are already their...Im from Cali so it broke my heart that the real only place would lose my trust to scalping costs and having that kind of crowd. I dont do toxic environments. Ima just drive to Dallas.

This is a medium size shop situated in a decently popular mall in Wichita Falls I am just beginning my journey into the wonderful world of warhammer 40k, I 3D printed some models and wanted to get painting, so I went to this shop to get some paints and general advice. Despite them knowing I was clueless, they suggested I start with the cheaper paints and sets and gave several pointers on colors, paints, etc. they could have exploited me for some money but were instead honest about the entire ordeal Their staff are also incredibly nice and welcoming. Despite being out my element and being a little clueless on basic topics, they were patient with me and were very passionate about their hobby s and loved to share their experiences to people like me Overall, don t be afraid of the price (this is warhammer after all) these people will make sure you want to come back and love every second of it

Nexus gane lounge sent over an employee to the mall movies and the spent over $550 purchasing every remaining d20 popcorn bucket for their customers And then when people mentioned it they just deactivated their page. Its infuriating that we have a local buisness willing to undercut their fanbase and potential customers, especially in a hobby like dnd.

I like the concept, but it s located in one of the worst locations that a great business can be located in: a dying mall. I m not fond of having to pay so much for a session, but it s understandable because that said mall charges a lot for rent.

I love the Nexus Game Lounge! I have been a frequent customer for the past year and have never had a moment at this establishment I didn t enjoy. The staff are all friendly, the location is very clean, and there is quite literally some service or product for everyone here. Nexus has great prices for the products offered, considering prices elsewhere, and as a DM, painter, and all-around nerd, those prices make my life so much easier. This store is quite frankly amazing and I will continue to come back when possible!

I love the idea of this place, but in practice, due to operational costs it doesnt seem feasible with the prices they have to charge. Their selection of gaming materials, whether tabletop, board, or MTG is extremely limited. They charge $35 per person, per session for DND campaigns, and Im glad that good DMs can actually be paid for their hard work, but $35 is just far outside the realm of possibility for many people, especially considering gas prices to get to the store. Its a trade off. Online you can find good games for $5-10 a session, and theres very little overhead for the DMs, but being a store and needing to make a profit to stay open forces them to charge $35 for games, and $25 with a membership. While Im sure this is a great option for hardcore gamers, its simply not in the budget for more casual people, couples, or familys. My suggestion for the owners: diversify your product offerings and dedicate more space to them. The products themselves should be the draw, if you increase the volume of your physical good sales, you can decrease your session costs immensely. Your main revenue sources of revenue should come from models, paints, accessories, and events/tournaments entry fees, and of course snack and beverage sales. I really like the tables, the chairs, and the owners I met. I like what theyre trying to do with have more campaigns, and paying DMs, its obvious that they are passionate about gaming and not in it for the money. I also believe this will fit a niche for a select group of people that will enjoy it. However I believe theyre limiting themselves by not appealing to a greater demographic of customers, and I believe it could be remedied with the right capital investments. TLDR: if youre a gamer looking for games on demand and a nice, clean place to play them with comfortable furniture and nice staff, look no further. Just be prepared to pay for it. And probably shop many of your desired goods elsewhere.

Awesome experience! Braden was great and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Though Im only in the area for a short amount of time, I will make it a priority to be back. They are in the process of a store move, but same ownership, just better location.

Had the chance to attend a mini painting class at this new business. The teacher, Matt was great and nice intro to the hobby. The Nexus is a new business revolving around tabletop RPGs, boards games, MTG (cards), retailer for said hobbies, learn to play classes for several and even custom miniatures they print on site. They have tables you can rent out if you bring friends or your game group. The staff is friendly and knowledge. I would recommend people even remotely interested to check it out :)
