I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. It s nothing greater than spending your hard earned money and the experience is so satisfying. The food was so fresh, seasoned and flavorful. We ordered the hibachi chicken, beef, and shrimp. A little tip for any first timers, all the beef offerings were delicious and tender, you don t even need to splurge on the higher grades. The grill chef was excellent and we really appreciate his showmanship. My only drawback was the cocktail offerings and the service was a bit slow.

Came here for the first time for lunch. We did the hibachi lunch and also ordered dumplings and crab puffs. Everything was very good and the service was great. We live an hour away but will definitely eat here again when in the area.

Hibachi is on point. Soup, salad, shrimp and entree with rice for a decent price. Only complaint... The steamed rice was clearly just scooped from a tub that had been sitting for hours. Do yourself a favor and get the fried rice. They make it right in front of you and its amazing.

Cold sushi on a warm evening. After our visit to the Space Center, we decided to have dinner at samurai. We order sushi and did not visit the hibachi section of the restaurant. Sashimi was served over a bed of ice, the nigiri sushi were good size and yummy. The samurai armor at the front door is a nice touch. Yes, a come back again place.

I apologize to the chefs for the other incredibly rude patrons glued to their phones during the presentation. Does anyone actually talk anymore? A whole family and each one engrossed with their electronic device not even speaking? Any complaints about chefs not into it should be considered in the context of the patrons. This place was recommended by a friend. Hands down it was great from the moment we walked in. All the staff were super friendly. The food was fresh and delicious!!! This place is about 25 minutes from where I stay and I absolutely love it. The lunch menu is super cheap for a hibachi spot and the sushi is always made fresh, you can watch the sushi being made at the bar! There are a bunch of different options for vegetarians, pescatarians and carnivores & the hibachi chefs are always willing to give a great show! If you do not want to watch the show they have a few tables to sit at and the bar which is a small downfall if you do not want to see the show and it s a full house. Edited review: I came again on January 10th, got attitude from my female waitress (an older woman), she was telling me to change my order even tho I order the same thing every time. When it was time to get my food, they skimped me on my steaks. I got more veggies than steak. We come here for the portions and how we are treated but I guess that was not the case this time.

Our first visit was for lunch. We were not sure about the venue so we opted for the hibachi grill. It was great. We were seated along with another couple and provided the lunch menu, while we selected our meal two other couples joined us. The chef arrived promptly after all orders were taken and he prepared all of our meals while we watched. It was very entertaining because the chef was not only a highly skilled chef he was also quite a juggler. The food quality was superb, we had scallops, steak and red snapper. The food was all cooked to perfection. The price was fair and it made for a very pleasant mid-day outing. Im sure well visit again in the very near future.

The food was mediocre. The service was completely disastrous. They do not know how to take down orders and got our order completely wrong not once, but three times after we try to correct it. And not to mention, the waiter took 20 to 30 minutes, just to give our drinks I could not understand why they would not listen to us after our food was completely wrong and for $200 I expected something a little more better. Disappointment for a hibachi place.

This was a huge disappointment. The chef appeared to be unhappy in his job, and the food showed it. The steak was way overcooked, and the vegetables were undercooked. Quite bland also when you have had tastier food elsewhere like Ichiban nearby. When I informed the waitress that my steak was overcooked, the chef cooked another one quickly and served it to me almost raw. That spoke attitude to me! We wont be back.

Food was good and our servers were on point. My only hiccup was having to wait even though we had reservations, with their stipulations of not arriving late as that reservations would be canceled if party was 15 minutes late and you will not be seated until all members are there. Well our party was there well before our reservations and expected to be seated at our time reserved, which was not the case. Since this was Mothers day Ill give them a pass and hope my next visit is not repeated.

Pick this place to celebrate my sons birthday and wished I could have gone somewhere else. First off they took a long time to get our orders. The vibe is good. The service was ok too. The cooks did a good job showing off their skills. And the food was cooked all the way through, which is all I can ask for. I had the three hibachi combo: salmon, Squid, and red snapper. Overall, it is a good visit. Note: If youre in a big party, even if you pay separately, know that they charge you for a tip. And you dont see the tip charge until they bring the final ticket. Im use to seeing that charge as gratuity (I know its the same thing), but my point is thats info usually something thats upfront. I didnt even see it added on the pre-check before the final check. Just saying...

If you like hibachi style dining, thus is for you. If you are vegetarian/vegan, its not the best choice. Ony to vegetarian options on the menu and your food is cooked after all the meat dishes fave been prepared for others on the grill. Probably the worst Japanese food I ve ever had, if not the runner-up. First of all, they don t have white sauce/Yum Yum sauce which is honestly the entire reason I wanted hibachi in the first place. The rice isn t even that good by itself. The chicken I got was dry Even after adding teriyaki sauce. The vegetables were cooked with very little if any soy sauce and no sesame seeds at all. I have a high standards for teppanyaki style restaurants because back home I frequent them weekly with my family and this is definitely a subpar experience. They are trying too hard to be different but they re missing the mark on the basics. The service was good though, very attentive. I brought my friend who was visiting from out of town because it s our tradition to do hibachi and I was disappointed in the experience overall. I would not return and they agreed the food was mid. . They should go back to the drawing board with food. I genuinely cannot think of a good reason not to have Yum Yum sauce. If it s any consolation, for some reason the ginger dressing for the salad tastes similar to it so that s one option.

The Family and I went here for Mothers Day. They were slammed and still managed to stay on top of the reservation. The Chef was incredibly nice and made sure to play it up for the kids at the table. Its nice to see all the fresh ingredients brought to the table. We had quite an array of items with a group of 7. The fish was cooked perfectly, the filet was spot on to medium preparation, shrimp werent overcooked, and the calamari was surprisingly delicious with a wonderful texture.We will be back for sure.

In spite of a medical emergency where one of our party passed out and needed help it was a great night. The food and service was excellent. When we needed help they called promptly for it and our waitress brought ice for her neck and water. I appreciated the staff and the two patrons who had medical experience that came to our aid. We order three fillet steaks and we did not get them. It was a lot of gristle and fat. Fillet is very tender and you can even cut it with a fork. I ask for the Manager and we didnt even eat our steaks at all, and the Manager said he was sorry, hope next time we can do better, well there will not be a next time. The manager seen all them steaks that we was not eating and did nothing.

There arent many hibachi places here that hold a candle to Samurai. The food is amazing, the wait staff in quick and the chefs are fun. While not as big on showmanship as some, they have a few fun tricks well worth the trip. Sushi rolls are a tad small, but delicious. The meals come with a mushroom soup that is simple, yes flavorful. Vegetarian options: Grills veggies in place of meat, though same grill. Parking: Limited space up front, but plenty behind the strip center Kid-friendliness: Chef took in to account that the fire spooked a few small kids this visit a shifted to non flammable performances.

The lady next to us had a roach in her soup!!!! The waitress didnt think it was a big deal and brought her another one, which is crazy because Im sure the roach was in the whole pot!!! After reading other 1 star reviews, it looks like this place has a serious roach infestation. Other people have also had roaches in their food. Still my favorite local Hibachi spot in Webster. Priced fair for what you get. Hibachi is always a full plate of food and expect to have left overs. All while in a fun enjoyable environment / show. Their sushi is another favorite. Try the chefs choice. Or just tell them what type of items you do enjoy and they will make you something special to fit your needs. Staff is always quick and tentative. Quick on the refills and service on point, never had a bad experience here. Lunch special is normally the go to. Which comes with your choice of a soup or salad. Disappointing. Adult beverage was watered down and sent it back. Entree was steak and scallops. It was acceptable but nothing really special. Miso was also watered down and bland.

That food we had wasnt good , because it been cooked by new guy with no Japanese cooking skills ,he looks like he was practicing on us . Long story short, if the one who cooking there have no skills u should have him cook for ppl yet . Food
