Updated from a 1 to 5 rating due to resolution of the charge error after 2½ weeks. Previous review: This rating is not for the hotel itself. The rooms and service were great. This is due to a large unauthorized charge to my credit card. Ive tried working with them for 1½ weeks now, and they have been slow to analyze the issue and process a refund. Soon I will be forced to dispute the charge. I have made numerous calls over the last week, and the managers inbox is constantly full and calls are never returned.

Requests arent handled timely. Have to stay on front desk agents to get staff to do anything. Lock on door broke and door was left open and unattended for 4 hours. Thats a long time to leave my personal belongings open and unattended. Had to get creative with hand towels post shower just to dry off, not a fun way to find out that the bath towels had been taken from the room and not replaced. Had to ask multiple times to get a new ironing board and iron. Eventually had to stay with the front desk agent until they replaced both. Things happen but as a business, be very responsive to correcting them when they do.

I recently stayed at this hotel to scout out homes for our move to League City, and wish I could leave a better review, but there were some unresolved issues over our stay that I could not look past, and feel like I generally could not truly recommend this hotel because of those problems. The first issue was the hotel hot water. The first night, the hotels entire hot water system went down, and I understood and was patient with that. However, our room (519) continued to experience hot water issues, and I went to the front desk three additional times about it. The first two times, I was told maintenance would stop by and take a look at it - they never did. The third time, I was offered to change rooms, but at 10:00pm when my wife was already settled in bed, so that was a non-starter. The TV in the room was also so dark, blue, and obviously defective, that it was often tough to make out what the picture was even supposed to be. Again, I talked with the front desk three times about this. The first time, I was told maintenance would come by and see what they could do (they never did). The second time I was told the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do for me (?). The third time, I was again told maintenance would be by or they could give me a new TV, and nothing. They even took my phone number down at one point so a manager could call me, and I received no call. Housekeeping also never stopped by our room the first three days. I went to the front desk to ask about it and was told I opted out of service. I never did any such thing. They did finally come by the day after I went to the front desk. These issues would have been one thing if it was a couple night stay, but [as the first front desk lady told me] they need to fix this for a six-night stay.

Would rate my stay closer to a 2.5 out of 5 stars but will round up to a three since the staff was super nice. During my first night stay, both the A/C and the TV stopped working. In addition, the water took forever to warm up in the shower. When I complained about the A/C and TV though, staff were quick to move me into a new room and have maintenance look at the broken A/C. I usual expect the rooms to be better maintained at a Marriot property so was disappointed that I had to switch rooms. Hopefully will have a better experience next time,

I have never posted reviews but felt I needed to for this experience. I recently stayed at this hotel for the first time it was actually supposed to be my Mother s Day mini getaway and it was a deeply disappointing experience. From the moment I entered my room, I noticed a pervasive smell of wetness that was incredibly off-putting. To make matters worse, two of the pillows had a very strong smell of cologne, which made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. The TV in my room had a blue tint, making it nearly impossible to watch anything comfortably. When I reported this issue to the staff, I was told to deal with it for now and assured it would be fixed, but no one ever came to resolve the problem during my stay. Additionally, the pool had visible garbage floating in it, which was not only unsightly but also unsanitary. Its clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are not priorities at this hotel. I would not recommend staying here and certainly wont be returning. I mentioned this to the manager and was only told sorry and nothing can be done. I have a few videos of the tv and and photos pool.

Recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott over in the NASA/Webster area, and I ve got a mixed bag of thoughts to share. If you re considering a stay here, you might find this helpful. First things first, when you re walking the hallways, there s something you can t ignore a mildewy smell that kinda hangs in the air. Its not the welcome scent you d hope for, and it gives the place a bit of a downer vibe right from the start. Not sure whats up with that, but it s definitely noticeable. Now, onto the brighter side of things the bar. It s a little oasis in this place. The bartenders here are fantastic! Friendly, know their stuff, and make some mean cocktails. Its like theyve got this knack for making your day better, one drink at a time. Honestly, chilling at the bar after a long day was the highlight of my stay. Breakfast, though, was a bit of a letdown. I was hoping for a spread that would kickstart my mornings, but the choices were pretty scarce. Its not that what they had wasn t good; its just that there wasnt much variety. If youre someone who loves a big breakfast to power through the day, you might find it a bit underwhelming. And the pool, well, its tiny. If you re dreaming of doing laps or having a spacious swim, this won t be your spot. It s more of a dip-your-toes-in kind of pool. Not a deal-breaker, but something to know if the pool is a big part of your hotel must-haves. In summary, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston NASA/Webster has its ups and downs. The bar scene is great, thanks to some stellar bartenders, but the hotel has a few areas that could use some improvement. If you re not too fussed about breakfast variety or pool size, and you pack some room freshener, you might find this place to be a decent base for exploring the NASA/Webster area.

I am on the fifth day of an eight day stay here at the Springhill Suites NASA in Houston TX. I am here with my wife and son spending my Christmas vacation. I am a titanium elite member with Mariott and decided to use my points for this stay. The location is not bad, the breakfast is great and the staff is friendly. However today at 2:30PM without prior notification, the water has been shut off and will be off until 8PM so they say. We finally got the notification at around 3:30 or so. I ve never been one to complain but not having running water or a bathroom for 6 hours in a hotel you re paying for can get a bit frustrating. I went down to kindly ask if it was still going to be 8 o clock. The staff member was friendly and said yes. I asked if there was going to be any sort of compensation such as possible extra points or maybe even a drink voucher. He said no. I have to say I m about disappointed that Marriott would not want to hand out at least one voucher or anything at all. Even worse not even offer some sort of compensation not only to members but to anyone who decided to stay at the hotel during the holidays. We were out early in the day and planned on staying in the evening so as you can imagine, it s very uncomfortable so very disappointed.

Did not feel safe. Safety: Loud hotel party and hotel staff was absent from front desk and unresponsive on phone.

I enjoyed the receptionists and staff; they were very accommodating and especially friendly. The location was also extremely convenient due to my plans to visit the nearest mall and Urban Air playcenter. My two complaints are that the room itself was very dissapointing, and that the pool was outside (fall/winter reservation). The walls were paper thin: I heard my neighbor snoring for hours, and the beds/pillows were downright uncomfortable. Couldnt sleep. The complimentary breakfast was tasty, though, and all members of my family were satisfied with the menu, but it was hard to enjoy with my sleep deprivation. I spent $167 on my 1-night stay here (8pm-11am), and over-all my experience was worth maybe $75-$90. Nearby activities: Urban Air placenter is a 2 minute drive away. The mall is just a hop-and-skip down I-45. NASA Museum is not far away, plus several other attractions within a short distance. Food and drinks: Their complimentary breakfast is self-serve and fresh. You can even make Texas-shaped waffles for the kiddos in just minutes. The American Dream kinda breakfast served from 7am-11am.

We stayed here for two nights on a family weekend away! The room fit us with the two queen beds and bringing a portable bassinet. It does the job, a place to sleep while away from home. Decent room, extra towels and pillows and blankets. Functional AC unit, no smoking in the building but people unfortunately smoke right outside of the entrance. Front desk was friendly. Free breakfast had a great selection, even as a vegan family! Nearby activities: NASA Noteworthy details: The breakfast options were actually really big! We were surprised at how great the selection was!

They have a microwave and refrigerator. Very large beds, sofa and table. Walkability: If you dont have a car you cant leave the hotel. Food and drinks: It only has breakfast and the rest of the food is what they sell in vending machines. Noteworthy details: The Uber service works very well and is almost half as cheap as the Taxi.

Fantastic stay with incredible service. I highly recommend this SpringHill Suites location. I was warmly greeted by both front desk agents with a gift bag. Inside were snacks and a handwritten note with my name on it, thanking me for staying and for being a Bonvoy member. The room was large with comfortable beds, great water pressure, cold A/C, fast and free WiFi, and a spacious work station. There were tons of outlets and USB ports. The free breakfast was great with hot pre-made breakfast sandwiches, quiches, waffles, oatmeal, pastries, cereal, and more. Lots of free parking. Conveniently located. I really appreciated the personal touch and commitment to service. Ill be back next month!

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, service was great, and breakfast was good. Now, the bad about my stay, hallway light comes in through the bottom of the door and brightens the room at night. Window also lets a lot of light in. You can hear the guest in the next room using the restroom and talking. The room service ladies are very loud during the day, if you have to stay in the room to either catch up on some sleep or attend meetings online/ call, expect a lot of background noise like door slamming and loud talking. If you dont suffer from headaches/migraines, you will after the first hr of the room service noise .

This hotel does not look like much from the outside but the inside has some pleasant surprises. The service at the desk was excellent and very informative. The room was very clean and had a separate room for a toilet and sink and then a separate room for the shower and another sink which was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked excellent. The rooms are not extravagant but they are very clean and very neat. The window opens which is really nice. But the best thing about this hotel is the breakfast which is served every morning free downstairs in the lobby. They have waffles fresh made, oatmeal with 10 different toppings, a variety of bagels with cream cheese and lots of other toppings, ham egg and cheese biscuits, hard boiled eggs, a variety of cereals, milk, three different kinds of coffee, apple juice and orange juice. There was also scrambled eggs. The breakfast is served for 3 hours and it is very fresh and hot. I highly recommend staying at this hotel when youre in Houston. I also walked outside to see the pool which was adequate considering this hotel is smaller and the weight room which is excellent.

The rooms have some awkward layouts (sliding doors on bathrooms, tiny sink. strange shape), but they were functional enough and incredibly clean. I have not seen rooms cleaned to this standard in a very long time! The staff was friendly and the check-in/out process was easy. The rooms have a good selection of TV channels. The breakfast was average. I had a very relaxing stay.

My family stayed here for 2 nights and we thought it was a nice, clean, and well serviced hotel. The breakfast was decent, we weren t expecting a whole lot, but it was good. Good selection of breakfast options. The room was good too. It was clean, tidy and spacious. We were a little puzzled by the layout. There seemed to be a closet that was renovated into a room with a toilet and a corner sink. And the bathtub and full sink was in another little room. Despite the weird layout, we were happy with the our stay here. At check in, Randy was nice and friendly and helped us with all our needs and questions. We d definitely stay again!

Stayed for a few days. Cleaning only happened on 1 day out of 3 which was disappointing. Even so the cleaning was haphazard with water on thr floor and clearly rushed. I needed to get fresh towels for my stay from the front desk. When I called I was told to pick up the towels from the front desk but when I went downstairs no one was there. After waiting at the desk for about 5 minutes I went back up to my room. I called again 15 minutes later. At first no one picked up. After repeated calls I got the same person who told me to come down again. After some ruffling around she brought me an incomplete set of towels. Additionally the hotel is showing signs of aging. The elevators make disturbing groaning and popping noises while its they move agonizingly slow. The shower and bathroom facets were corroded. While the room decor and arrangement were nice the mini fridge isnt suitable for anything except chilling drinks. Any leftovers or food wont get cold enough to ensure adequate food safety. There were also several stains on the corridor carpeting and it appeared that the hotel catered to the staycation party crowd. On the plus side the AC worked phenomenally well and the rooms were soundproof aside from the occasional guest slamming doors in the hallway.

I have stayed there several times now and will continue to as its a great location & the rooms and beds are very comfortable and a nice size. There is also a nice size parking lot available with your stay. The staff at the front desk are ALL always very friendly and helpful and remember me now. I would like to give a particular thank you to Jennifer who went above and helped me out this time especially. I had accidentally booked the Springhill Suites/NASA in Seabrook (I had no idea there was one) & she went out of her way to get my booking moved and my accomodations taken care at this correct location. She was very professional & helpful and I must add handled many tasks and visitors at one time. I really appreciated her!

I loveeeed it here. Pros Very clean room nd lobby Smart TV Toilet and shower in different room/space (i have never seen such). Thermostat in room for self/easy adjustment Shower water pressure is good. Cons Breakfast is 7am to 9am on the dot The elevator is ugly, smells and makes squishy noise like it is about to stop. House keeping is every 3 days even if you need one b4 your 3rd night ( i came with my cleaning supplies including my bedsheets and bath towel) Just mini fridge and microwave no stove. No clock in room.

Room was nice, rate was good value. Unfortunately post Covid the cleaning crew only comes in after the third day, which happened to be the day we checked out, so I cant comment on maid service. Breakfast was available for free downstairs in the morning but we missed it sleeping in our had plans to eat or with family so we didnt have the chance to try it. Bed was a little firmer than I prefer and the pillows were a little softer than I prefer but otherwise a good experience.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very clean, courteous staff, and great location. The breakfast was great, has a pool, large flat screen tv which we were able to watch Netflix on, a microwave, mini fridge, and comfortable sofa. The best part was that the bath was in a separate area than the commode which is great when traveling with a family of 5. They both had a sink too. This hotel is located about 40 minutes from the beach. We will definitely be staying here again when we are in the area.

The rooms were very clean and nice. The lamp by the bed is perfect for shadow puppets . The pool stays open later, which is nice considering most hotels close them so early. One of the elevators were down for maintenance and the other was kinda sketchy, but they looked nice. The free breakfast wasnt worth it at all, so I recommend trying a breakfast place nearby instead. But its 30ish minutes from Schlitterbahn and like 10-15ish minutes from the Kemah Boardwalk.
