We took our two grandkids thinking it would be a great way to play and have fun. Four out of five games were broken. While we were trying to get our money back, another customer complained about another game being broken. When I requested my money back we were told that was not possible. They had to have the chance to fix the issues. When we arrived there were only two employees. So fixing the issues in a timely manner was simply a non starter. They refused to refund our money. We will never choose to spend our money there again. I would avoid this place if it first time.

So my wife was using the bathroom while I entertained my 2yo son w a bball hoop. Was told by a brunette w short hair telling me to stop. I said no problem to which she got rude and called me a fool. Then threatened to call the police if I didnt leave. Mind u my wife is using the bathroom. Useless Karen of a young person needs to be fired. Rudest person Ive met in a long time. She also refuses to tell me her name and no identifying name tag. Poor way to be in the child entertainment business. Ill be following up w a conversation and complaint to corporate associates to correct the matter.

So, I brought my two kids here for a fun afternoon and I was stunned when I went to buy a game card. They were $30 a piece for 150 tokens, which seems like a good deal. However, each game costs between 7 and 12+ tokens each!!!! This is totally ridiculous! That s like maybe 15 plays for $30! SO OVER PRICED! We will NEVER go there again!

Went specifically to play games for my sons birthday, I brought his cake with us to celebrate and eat elsewhere after we were done with games they told us the cake wasn t even allowed in the building without booking a party even though we were only there to play games! I just wanted to leave it on a table while we played . The staff which was 3 ladies all different ages was probably the worst group of staff I ve ever encountered there . They complained about everything we did we hardly were able to enjoy the games because they were nitpicking about EVERYTHING I m so glad I didn t waste my money on booking a party!

Getting down right to the good and bad no whining or complaining heres the pros and cons, Yes the games are way overpriced compared to dave n busters or main event so if you want an arcade experience with reasonable prices this isnt it. They advertise night after 5 play for double points on Mondays but read the fine print the doubled coins disappear at the end of the night so use them all. Now I will say this place does have different games and even rides for kids you wont see at those other places even for my infant they had 5 or so games his size he could stand and have fun at without help. My daughter wanted to do laser tag but couldnt cause she had flip flops on there werent any signs saying that so she was disappointed it is what it is. Also only buy one card even if you have multiple kids because you cannot combine money from any card together so if you have three cards and this one has a dollar and that one has two your just left with a balance on those cards til you top them off and no there wont be a game cheap enough to spend those last dollar or two. I miss the old tilt quarter arcades this brought me back to those days but this aint the quarter days anymore so go in walk around if you like what you see spend a little extra for nostalgia or go to main event.

Tilt Studio, PARTY PACKAGE WARNING: I typically don t care to be so public with my grievances, but I just wanted to put this out there for the next mom so I can maybe help her avoid this sad situation. There was no point in booking a party as a birthday package. It was a waste of money and it made me miss almost all of my son s 6th birthday party. When I arrived the day of the party, I was told that I did not have a host, even though the website states that I would. I wasn t prepared to plan the flow of the party (that s why I bought a package that included a host) and I ended up running around the whole time making several trips to the counter to get forks, extra plates, extra napkins, cake cutter (which they didn t have, so they gave me a butcher knife), lighter- all that were promised to me but no one thought to bring to the room and rounding people up for pizza because there wasn t any schedule. I asked about the pizza size when I got there, because I knew I had some hungry adolescents coming to the party and wanted to make sure I had ordered enough. I was told they were 16 slice pizzas, but in reality, they were 8 slice pizzas that were cut in slivers to make it equal 16. When they came, I had to send some people back to play while more pizza was ordered, and then go round them up when it was ready. On top of everything, no one was behind the refreshment counter, so each time I had to go get something for the party, I had to wait until someone back in the kitchen noticed that I was there to come see what I needed. There was no trashcan in the room, so dirty cups, plasticware, plates, and napkins just kept piling up which made it very uncomfortable for everyone. I m sad that I missed most of the fun and missed out on taking pictures, I won t ever get that back. When I called the corporate office, they acted sympathetic and stated that the parties were a cornerstone of Tilt s business and the experience should have been different. They offered me a $50 play card, which was an insult after all the money that I spent. In hindsight, I should have invited the kids up to Tilt for his birthday and not bought the package. We could have eaten pizza in the refreshment area and sang Happy Birthday. He chose to open his birthday presents at home so he could play more, so we didn t use the room for that either. I would have saved a ton of money and I would have not missed those precious memories. Alternatively, I could have booked it at the Main Event- I ve been to parties there and they ve been great, and looking at the website now IT S CHEAPER, COMES WITH MORE PLAY TIME, AND COMES WITH A HOST! Bottom line- the Tilt Studio website and the reality of the party do not align in any way, and they clearly have no desire to truly make it right with me. I hope that they take this as an opportunity for improvement but based on the lack of training and the oblivious staff, it is going to take a while for improvement.

Not very good customer service. They refused to honor their posted sign for free game of laser tag when purchasing a $50 card. They rely on repeat business- would rather take my business to Main Event down the road in the future. Lost my business over $7.00 when I asked to speak to a manager to hopefully resolve the situation she had a very negative attitude. A place like this should WOW you with customer service- especially on a Saturday night. All the workers were huddled up together just talking. I used to go here in the afternoons just to play the Beatles pinball machine- but I won t ever step in this place again (nor ask my friends to) unless they fix their customer service.

I m blessed, and I can t afford this, no telling how other people would. It will be Main Event from here on. Then won t even let the kids eat their snack, in their designated eating area. Would never run a business like this, and I own several.

Its expensive as they use the point system for their cards charging for the card as well. The points system ensures you always have money left over on the card. The prices are high priced to ensure a higher profit.one item was what I estimate over 30% profit. If you play for prizes you will lose but if you play for fun why to rackup free prizes

Went to Tilt not knowing what to expect and loved it. We were a bit overwhelmed at first just because there were so many options and things to play with... but once we were comfy with the layout we had a blast and we are both in our thirties. It was also SUPER clean-- which is one of the reasons Id usually never frequent a place . Once we figured out the lay of the land and played a few games, we also figured out that **some** games will give you lots of tickets and others not so much... but some were just fun because they were FUN-- like basketball and Skee ball (or whatever the ball game is when you roll it up a ramp). You can DEF many your money/points work for you... you just gotta know what games to play. Just be a smart gamer and you will have so much fun. My friend already plans to bring her kiddos back.

The one star review is too much for this company, I would rate this company -5 stars if I could. I bought the $49.99 package where they promise 1 hour of playing time but their machines kept asking (robbing) us to swipe the card every 2 minutes. This company will not last long in Waco since not ALL families can afford their prices. Its sad to have this type of company in Waco using your kids/family for their actions. This company is all about taking your money rather than you having fun with your family, fun should not be this expesive. Why does the city of Waco let this company operate? Anyway, the city of Waco is also robbing us with their tax rates from California.

This place is super overpriced .. be careful you can easily spend $150 and come out with little to nothing.. dont give young kids free roam if the card because some of the simple claw games can be 15 credits which is probably 3 dollars or so and goes fast.. the virtual reality is 25 credits for the motorcycle game.. you can pick up 150 credits for $30 but they go very fast .. if a machine has an issue to may have to stand there 10-15 minutes for some help.. if you have going kids go to Chuck e cheese and play the unlimited games for set price .. if not save your money go to Austin and play somewhere bigger and cheaper ****In response to the owners reply*** Your employees dont seem to even know about the power hour package at the Waco location until I stated the owner is the one who told me about the power package. They stated the package is also only available a few days a week but couldnt tell me when but for sure wasnt Sunday . This isnt posted anywhere nor do the employees help you out with it

Decided to take my kids there for some fun...spent 80.00 and that lasted about 10 minutes. Games are way over priced, and all the claw machines seemed rigged. Asked a lady for help cause one of the games showed I had a credit, but had an error which would not allow me to play. She seemed bothered that I asked her for help in the 1st place. Was not impressed do not waste your money to come out with a few trinkets you could easily buy at the Dollar Tree. My kids who are older said they would have had more fun at Chuckie Cheese or Peter Piper.

Not worth the money we spent, expensive and the games require way to many points so we only got to play a few things, one of the virtual reality rides they had wasnt calibrated right and was 12 points that we lost, another game my daughter won 200tickets but it didnt put it on her card and the workers acted like we were lying about it and were rude and seemed like they didnt want to even bother helping. Just about every claw machine( which is what at least half the games they have are) the claws are weak and the toys are of course stuffed so they become stuck. If you want to waste money and leave with a disappointed child this is the place for you.

Cute new arcade place to town. Love the concept. It s bright and fun appearing. The day we went they did not have specials. The workers did not seem like they were there to work. Almost as if a bother when asked a question. The games are pretty pricey. Considering if you buy a card for $20 with 100 points/credits but each game cost 11/12 points/credits And that s the basic game. They did have a small fun ride for smaller children in the middle. That ride was 22 points/credits . There is also a miniature put put course, which I didn t get to do because I have a 3 year old. It was nice to have something new in the community but not worth the $.

Two reviews: 1. The facility is big and new. Expensive but my boys had fun and I m glad that a big arcade is back in Waco. 2. I am a working mom of 3 boys. I brought my two older boys here for an hour and spent $80.00 for the boys to play. Per usual, I had my laptop with me so I could work while the boys played. I take my laptop to other child play facilities such as urban air with no issue. The cafe was not open for food, but I sat down to use the table to work. Management came over and told me to leave because they weren t open. After I moved I went to sit on the floor and plugged my laptop into the wall to continue working. Management told me it wasn t allowed and made me unplug my laptop. I was then told this wasn t a place to work. Management was incredibly rude and dismissive. As an attorney of 14 years I found their behavior incredibly unprofessional. I find it incredibly disappointing and ridiculous that at a child s establishment where I spent almost 100 dollars, I wasn t allowed to sit on the floor and use the power outlet.
