We loved this place! They were super busy but got us in right away, and all the employees were SO nice. We felt right at home. The sweet girl serving us gave us great recommendations and even recommended a great sriracha aioli sauce. Food was great, we loved the sweet potato fries. Sandwiches could be a bit bigger but they tasted great! Definitely recommend!

Great food! Great service! I think there are excellent choices of sandwiches, and ways to customize your burger! I do wish they had a few more vegan choices! But I did have the Technicolor Dreamcoat sandwich which was superb! And easily veganised. Everything was very tasty! They need a bigger place!

Well, here is another restaurant we have driven by many times and never stopped treating. It was a few and far between ability to have lunch together on a workday. We were actually headed to Hotel 1928 to have lunch. As we turned on to Elm Street off of Business 77 (Jaspers BBQ). We both said at the same time, Lets eat at Revival. After several years of being open, my expectations were high. So we have seen the outside for years, and its awesome. As we stepped into the restaurant, you cant help but notice how open and clean it is. As my wife said, its so cute. I will say I didnt like the chair. It had an awkward fit with the hips. Since this was our 1st time. Our waiter was patience with us, and he explained the top 4 picks. They gave us ample time for us to pick or order. My wife had the Golden Calf burger with sweet potato fries and I had to build your burger. As seen in the photo, the burger came out stacked high. My wife cut her burger in half. I chose the old man way, I grabbed my burger by 2 hand and forced it into my mouth. It tasted so fresh, better homemade. Everything tasted as they just picked the vegetables, ground the meat, and made your bread. When they say we source our ingredients locally, it taste that way. See ya soon on the road!

Me and my parents went to this place during a road trip to grab lunch, we saw the high review and wanted to see if it really lived up to it. Food Our waitress told us that the food was farm-fresh and carefully crafted to accommodate anyone who had any allergies and things like that, the menu tells you that as well. It offered mostly burgers, sandwiches, and salads, with some sides, drinks, and a few desserts. There werent too many options, but how good everything sounded made up for it, Me and my dad got the Pestoment sandwich (the photo with regular fries) and my mom got the Golden calf burger (the photo with the sweet potato fries) with some sweet tea that had a perfect balance of flavor and sweetness. They really tasted fresh as the waitresses and the menu said. It has a unique homemade and authentic taste that really makes the flavour of everything stand out, and everything was seasoned well too. The only problem I had was the regular fries being a little too salty and not having enough of that garlic aoli taste it has. But its not enough of a problem to bring it down a star, in general, the food was amazing. Service All of the staff we saw were incredibly friendly and welcoming for newcomers, like us. They made sure to thoroughly introduce the menu to us and happily recommended some meals. This restaurants service style is what they call community service where multiple different waiters will check up on you as if they were one. Things like that can be efficient but can get unorganized. Although it seemed like they had it under control. And with this, the waitresses check on you very often, sometimes a little bit too often when youre just trying to eat your food. Other than that, this service was incredible and were pretty quick to deliver food, drinks, and checks too. Atmosphere I liked the rustic theme the restaurant had, along with the mural on the side of the restaurant as well. It was somewhat crowded in the restaurant but was very open so it didnt feel too cramped. Some of the tables were a little dirty along with the one we sat in though. Everything else was pretty clean and hygienic. Even though this place has a few slight problems, it doesnt change how great this place is. It really did live up to the rating, and I hope to try more of their food the next time we drive around this place.

Great sandwiches and burgers at a fantastic location outside the Baylor bubble/downtown. I had the Old Pestoment, which was a good sandwich but not as good as a Schmaltz sandwich (Schmaltz has better bread). The fries were excellent. Will need to return and try the burgers, which the others in my party loved. Parking: There is not much street parking, but there is a ton of parking behind the building.

The Old Pestoment is my go-to! The ciabatta bread is perfectly toasted with a nice crunch. A friend got the Caesar salad and said that it was under-seasoned. She had to add a substantial amount of salt and pepper and asked for additional dressing since it only came with one small sauce container. Another friend got the Golden Calf and said that it was quite tasty.

One of our favorite local restaurants. Best burgers in town, and the staff is always kind and friendly. However, if youre in a rush, this may not be the best restaurant. They work as fast as they can, but all food is prepared fresh. When the restaurant is full, your burger can take a little longer. Were okay with longer when its delicious!

AMAZING!!! Would give more stars if I could! The food was delicious, the atmosphere very nice, the service top notch. Would eat here all the time if I lived in Waco!! 1000/10 would eat here again!!! Dietary restrictions: GLUTEN FREE INFO: They did have gluten free burger buns that my sister with celiac said were VERY good! The fries don t have a designated fryer but they did have other GF options to replace them with, like fruit, veggies, or a salad. They were very good about allergens and took them very seriously, my sister felt safe and confident eating here.

The service staff is not professional, impudent, forgetful of orders (but put drinks on the bill that werent served). The chairs are very uncomfortable, have seat area which only is large enough, if you are a size 8 womans. They told us there was a 30 min wait, but I went in to use the restroom and there were 4 tables available, only needing to be cleared and set up! We ordered a varity of the sandwiches, no one was happy with the quality. The chicken was dry, the roast beef was a poor quality of beef (very tough). Very noisy because of the warehouse design had no acoustics. Another failure was a menue of 15 draft beers, there was None! The place only has 2 one stall restrooms. Wow, and 15 craft beers on tap. Parking: Across the street were the handicapped parking spots. This restaurant has no adjacent parking area.

We had a hard time choosing between the vegetarian sandwich options but landed on Weight of Glory and Technicolor Dream Coat. Both were really good, the Technicolor was our favorite. The fries were also solid. Indoor and outdoor seating looked nice, would recommend visiting. Vegetarian options: There are three delicious, interesting vegetarian sandwich options. Ordering options include requesting vegan cheese. There are also salads with meatless options.

Good atmosphere, friendly service and the tast of the food is great. But the portion of the food has decreased significantly over the years while the price seems to have increased a little bit. Revival Eastside Eatery was great. A big group of friends stayed in Waco for Waco Surf and this restaurant was obviously highly rated and lots of reviews. We gave it a shot on day one and ate there for all three days. It did not disappoint and was much better than some of the other restaurants we went to that were similarly rated but had fewer reviews. Their Caeser salad was really good, and so were their sandwiches. Golden Calf (burger) is their #1, The Prodigal is their #2 (sandwich), 8th Day is #3 (sandwich). I had the 8th Day twice and the Rachel once and liked them both a lot. Definitely eat here. So good. You wont regret it.

Never been here, bf took us here and we got food to go. The atmosphere was really Baylor. And maybe the people there knew I wasnt from Baylor idk. Food is kinda pricey for what you get. How are u gonna try and have healthy choices but serve fried foods on the side? My daughter who is 6 for the kids pick 4 thing and she said the chicken was gross. It was very dry and very flavorless. Mine and my bf order was wrong as well. But we didnt complain, it wasnt worth to do so. I wont go back but its at least worth a try for anyone who wants a sandwich

One of the best portobello burgers we ve ever had, hands down! Great beer on tap. My 10 year old s review best burger I ve ever, ever had in my whole 10 years of life! My other kids had the grilled cheese and couldn t stop talking about how amazing it was. This food is good for the soul, and Revival Estate Eatery brought all the goodness.

This place is delightfully delicious! We have been a number of times and always good. Today for the first time I had my sweet potatos on my super delicious Technicolor Dream Coat sandwich undercooked and crunchy. I sent it back because I love these sandwiches so much I really didnt want to be disappointed by it. And they were super kind and fixed it quickly and I again got to experience the most flavorful sandwich!!! This place is the BEST! Vegetarian options: Try the technicolor dream coat, you wont be sad. Perfect veggie sandwich. Dietary restrictions: Great customizable options for whatever your needs are. Kid-friendliness: Fun kids choices and nice outdoor seating.

We are from out of town and stopped here for a bite to eat. We ordered the Golden Calf burger with sweet potato fries and the Chicken Pesto sandwhich. Both were delicious and made with fresh ingredients that were prepared to order. Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a good burger or sandwhich. They also had a selection of local beer and wine.

First the bad; I highly suggest Not ordering beer. We tried several different ones and they were all really bad. They don t have any name brand drinks but the sweet tea and cola are good. My son didn t like his pink lemonade. I thought it was good, it was about half the sugar of regular lemonade. The fries aren t crispy (they re actually kinda soggy) so if that s important to you then this isn t your place. Super fresh and delicious burgers and sandwiches!!! The broccoli slaw is very unique and yummy ! Def going back :)

One word. FANTASTIC! Food, service, atmosphere, staff. Im not sure when I last had a burger this good! Atmosphere is a clean urban renewal look. Lemon berry mousse is light and refreshing. Menu is innovative. A clean, friendly, great atmosphere eatery that serves high quality food that doesnt leave you feeling greasy and bloated. But full and satisfied. Your staff are the best. I would give 6 stars if possible as you have gone above and beyond. Oh. Forgot that the food came out to table quickly too!! Back in town and had to visit. Same fantastic everything. Loved it.

Fresh, locally-sourced burger, salad, and sandwich place with a surprisingly nice craft beer selection. Kind and considerate staff. An easy in and out near McLane Stadium. Note - sandwiches are warm! The place is clean, the kitchen is sensitive to dietary limitations and allergies and, most importantly, its not your average grease spot. Prices are fair and portions are good. Kid friendly. Check it out! Vegetarian options: Wait staffed asked if we had any dietary restrictions or food allergies. Vegetarian and vegan options are clear. Parking: Street parking. Kid-friendliness: Friendly! Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible, ramps.

Nothing was bad but, nothing impressed. Prices are so-so for the portion sizes. I was particularly bummed about the generic we dont serve our food on plates aesthetic. Its definitely drawing inspiration from more genuine spots but, it ends up feeling very astro turfy.

We LOVE this place. Their menu is amazing! We eat primarily plant based (no dairy or meat) and they have some really great, comfort food status options. Their service has always been impeccable. These guys are constantly running food and drink, clearing tables and asking (with a genuine smile and attitude) if there is anything else needed. Revival does it right and if something is off, it s definitely out of the ordinary. This place is continuously our first choice when we re going out to eat.

Food was good but service could of been a little better. I ordered a tea and had to wait for the food to come and ask another server again to get it. Never was asked if I needed a refill while there and had to ask again once I was paying for a refill as it had been empty for quite some time.....changed to 4 stars as restaurant responded and rectified situating. Will go back and give another chance.

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!!! This is in an old church in the up and coming East side of Waco thats growing like crazy. They kept the wooden beams on the high ceiling, and many other features & character of the building. DELICIOUS sandwiches & burgers that my friend & I had. Theyre all very unique with cool names. Super friendly staff. We sat at the bar because clearly this place is not a secret. It was packed. When we left there was a line out the door. Trust me its worth it if you end up in line!!!!
