My family and I enjoyed this place. If you ve ever woken up on a Saturday morning to the smell of piping hot tortillas fresh off the comal, you know that there are few things as satisfying. However, Mi Casita has that sweet, satisfying aroma wafting from the kitchen to the front door. Seriously, for a moment, I forgot that I was in Hewitt and thought I was in South Texas! We asked to try other salsas, and the waitress brought over a chipotle tasting salsa with 0% spice but 100% flavor. The salsa verde was brought as the spiciest salsa; it was a disappointing 10% spice on the spice scale. Over all, this place is a sweet find! Bring your American family of four for breakfast all day or Mexican family of 300 for fresh menudo. Either way, there is surely something to be treasured here! I will return even if only to get my fix of the intoxicating aroma of my mother s tortillas.

Its become more expensive. Charge you to use your card. OK. However, I wanted the porkchops breakfest. $14.99 but wanted hashbrown instead of country potatoes. They was gonna charge me extra! Its still potatoes. Seriously! Seems greedy. kinda pissed me off. Food is good but nothing special. I wonder if you got there gift card. Would the charge you extra to use it? Service is fast! Faster than McDonalds. Lol So, I decided to just have a 3-combination burrito. Yes, eggs count as 1. Sausage and cheese.+ Dr. Pepper. It cost me over $10. SMH. Unfortunately, I dont think Ill be back anytime soon! Ill do business elsewhere. Parking: Shared with Dominos pizza and not much room mid-day and evening sometimes. Wheelchair accessibility: None

This is just my experience based during breakfast hours. The menu is basic, and the food itself is okay. You cant really mess up breakfast. Service is good and they are always friendly! Overall, this place has a decent breakfast for a low price. I recommend them if you want a breakfast burrito or taco on the way to work since they also have a drive thru. Parking: Open parking but they share it with a dominos

The best review that I can offer is the fact my wife thanked me for bringing her here and told me that she wants to visit again. When I asked, What do you suggest?, concerning the tortillas; the server immediately responded with the homemade flour tortillas: she was so correct. Order some extra tortillas, though. You will enjoy the hearty, corny texture of the tortilla chips, too.

The place is a little small and there is almost no parking but everything else was amazing. Food was really good and our waitress was very nice. I had gotten the chimichanga without the cheese sauce and it was so good.

So my Latina friend said that they always give chips and salsa so when she asked the waitress said well you have to spend $25 to get the chips and salsa. I did not understand that statement; because I spent $42 alone. Then the waitress started to speak in Spanish to my Latina friend when it was like 5 of us that was not of Spanish speaking descent in attendance as well. Bottom line is we did not get the chips and salsa; when my Latina friend said that they just give it to her every time she comes to this restaurant.

Best Tex Mex we had on our drive from Brownsville to San Antonio to Austin to Dallas and we ate at many taqueria to include Torchys and Laredo Taco. Loved the shrimp tacos at Mi Casita and their tres leches was superb! Our waiter was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed it so much we are going to stop in Waco again for round two at Mi Casita as the food was so flavorful
