The server staff on the overnight shift is fantastic. Theyre friendly, competent, and do their best. That being said, management seems like a joke. Product isnt ordered (even though they advertise specials that are limited time), so ordering from the menu is legitimately difficult at times. The owner obviously doesnt care about his business or his employees, he just banks on being the only place open late. Thinking its time to switch to IHOP, especially if I can convince the killer staff to switch too.

Service was excellent. Food perfect and the waitress was polite . Helpful. Funny. Attended to my every possible need. Even left me for a breakfast special that was delicious and several dollars cheaper than what I was looking at in the menu for more money.vresturant clean , bathrooms also clean. And my to-go bag has plenty of condiments and Im happy to say no additional charge for those like other places doing. So GO DENNYS.!!!!! Thank you Parking: Plenty of spots right next door. Wide kot cramped and free Kid-friendliness: There were not any children in the restaurant while I was there 330 am-530am. However it wouldnt have bothered me at all. There is a kids menu and lots of sugary flavored syrups to wire them up7u77j. Lol then inside store a mountain candy drinks cakes etc Wheelchair accessibility: Persons confined to a wheelchair would feel perfectly fine.

I had an amazing server named Ana who was willing to go above and beyond to satisfy my wants. I came in craving a milkshake with my meal and despite the fact that they were lacking a blender she made sure I got one and mixed it herself. This is the type of customer service I love to see. Just the effort is awesome

Went 11\25\2021 Thanksgiving. No wait to seat. Staff was great. Food great. Bought a few things at the adjoining Flying J truck-stop. A fun visit all around. Update 8-23-23 Still great staff. One of our party is autistic. Waitress spent extra time with them, made their usually stressful interactions happy. 6/16/24Food gas been going downhill past few months. Orders dont match the menu.

As a trucker working very long days. Arriving to a gas station for dinner and to unwind is sometimes the only thing I look forward to. So when I try to enjoy food and cannot get what I d like because there s no equipment to make it. It s beyond frustrating and disappointing. How is it possible that a restaurant does not have a BLENDER to make the items offered on the menu or INGREDIENTS to fully prepare the meals offered on the menu. The waitresses and staff did their best besides the fact they seemed to have so little to work with. Great job on their behalf.

Walked in and waited almost 15 mins to be acknowledged even tho the same person was bussin tables. After ordering Togo orders we watched multiple Fair skinned people get immediate attention, seated and orders taken. Food came out in a decent time. Food was cold after we sat there for 45 minutes to a hour after wed been seated and the food had a funny taste didnt eat anything...people that got there after us received their food before us...waitress was ok...manager did come and offer to recook my eggs but by then we had to go and that didnt take care of the rest of the food being cold... didnt offer any kind of refund or discount.Will not go back

The breakfast was good, the coffee was excellent, the best coffee I had in a long time, I went on a time that wasnt crowded, so the atmosphere was nice, the staff was very friendly and professional, if you want a good old fashioned breakfast, I recommend Dannys in Waco Parking: Theres plenty of free parking and handicap parking too Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it is wheelchair accessible, you can easily navigate a wheelchair from the parking lot to the restaurant

I mean its a Dennys attached to a gas station so what were my expectations really? We were there an hour before we got our food and I ordered bacon and scrambled eggs. The bacon was all curled up and on the crispy side. I dont mind crispy bacon but I at least want it to be straight. I couldnt be mad at the employees because they were obviously understaffed, but after waiting over an hour for our food I would have expected some kind of a discount, but that was a ridiculous expectation apparently.

Normally at most other Dennys the bourbon chicken skillet is great ! However this locations was pretty disgusting. As you can see in my picture, the top is off the menu, bottom is what I received. I patiently waited for the only server to come by my way and ask for some sauce not a recook just something for flavoring. Her attitude was not the best. Wont ever eat at this location again. Its also put a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended) for any future Dennys visits.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on Saturday morning. We were seated fairly quickly, but it took awhile for our drinks to arrive - not a big deal to us as we had time. What became apparent was that there was one waitress serving the entire restaurant and she and a team of two others (the one cleaning the tables and the one handling the front counter) were doing a stellar job of taking care of everyone. Cat, the waitress, never got flustered and buzzed from table to table taking care of the customers who were seated. The food order was turned in fairly quickly and arrived as ordered. Throughout our entire visit, she just did her thing. She and guy who was taking care of the front desk and helping Cat when needed were friendly and made a point to let customers who were waiting to be seated know it might be some time. Was this the best dining experience of my life? No - but it was a pleasant one. If Dennys has some kind of spot bonus, I think Cat and the other two who were taking care of things should definitely receive!

Ordered steak and eggs. They didnt have ribeye, so I went for sirloin. Cook knew what they were doing. Very tasty. But what made this experience outstanding was a waitress named Donna. Great personality, upbeat, cheerful, attentive, and a female version of Matthew McConaughey styled voice. Made you thing of Texas hospitality creating all smiles! Atmosphere? There was a dude talking to himself real loud like jibberish and looked like a Queen band member that was kicked out of the band cause of hygiene. Just to see and hear Donna Id go again and again. Management better take note and pay her top dollar! Parking: I drove a Semi with a reefer, parked in truck lot (Flying J, New Road, in We Aint Coming Out-WACO).

If I could give a 0 star I definitely would! I tried this Dennis couple of times and got up a left and went to IHOP! This morning my first server was so rude and yelled in my face I asked for the manger and I was going to leave for good, he said Ill handle it Ill talk with her you can sit over here they will help you! Help me with what there was like 4 people that came to my table! I ask this nice gentalman to help! There has been other instances where the whole place is filthy, COLD food, mess up orders, rude customer service! Honestly Denny trust me come in and do a retuine walkthrough hummm you will be surprised! And I will NEVER BE BACK! I might not ever go to a Dennys again! I wish I could put zero stars. I completely understand that it was Christmas, however, there s not one thing I could say was great during this experience. Our server tried to keep up with the high demand but still never came to check on us after it took over 30 min for our food to come out. Never asked for water refills until AFTER we finished our food so thanks a lot. We also had our order made wrong and when we tried to correct it he just brought us what we asked for but extremely sad looking. It was like scraps of food and we were supposed to eat that? The hashbrowns looked like the potato I just picked yesterday, not cooked. I noticed employees huffing and puffing around all the customers and yelling damnit every time they had to do things for people. My worst experience at a dennys ever.

Food was great for only one server I am glad when I called cause I got the fully loaded berry pancakes well bananas were bad and so were strawberries so I am glad they were not put on my pancakes but the omelet and hash browns were great. Even though they only had a cook and one waitress I liked the location notification that I was there to pick up an order dont be too strict on a restaurant that is under staffed.

11/21/2023 around 1330. Server Sonia seated me at a booth with a wet table and told me that I could wipe it off with the napkins that she gave me. There was another booth without a wet table right next to to it. If I wanted self service, I would have gotten fast food instead of stopping here. She comes back to take my order and left. When she comes back, she drops the salad plate, and the bowl that the dressing was in, falls off the plate and almost spilled on the table. She gives me plastic wear to eat with, and I said can I get some regular silverware. She said thats all she has for now. Two seconds later another person comes out with fresh silverware thats going to get rolled up into the napkins for incoming guests. Sonia comes back and ask if I need anything else, and I said yeah, my tea. I hope that Sonia doesnt need the tips, because if she does, shell starve to death with the attitude that she had with me. I didnt tip her. I normally get the mngr when something is off, but it wasnt worth my time this time, hence this review.

After 30 minutes siting there, finally an other waiter came to me asking my order. I waited the order another 30 minutes, it T-Bone steak, corn and fries were the sides, comes with bread. I ordered the steak dinner, (to go) it was tart and unfortunately I gave some to my puppies before I took a bite, my little guy was sick with diarrhea and throwing up for the next two days! I ordered the American slam. The bacon was sitting on top of the eggs and hash browns. I move the bacon as it looks odd and eat a couple bites of the eggs and hash browns and they just tasted off. Look closer at the bacon and realize the putrid smell was coming from the bacon. It was gray and green! WAY past serve date by at least a week. Spent the day vomiting and splatter painting the toilet. This particular Dennys has gotten so bad over the last decade that they are forever a place I will never eat at again after nearly 40 years. Staffs a joke and rude, foods awful and service is non existent.

Hands down worst location. If the owner is so cheap that they cant seat a group of 2 within 30 mins because they have 1 server, 1 cook, 1... idk even know what she was doing. Closed the doors, give it up. Cheap idiots. Good food ruined by moron owners. Had to leave to go to freaking IHOP. The worst service in the industry managed to beat dennys

Jhoana wouldn t let me sit at bar because floor was wet but it was dry but she kept walking on it. Older man named Richard came in and walked to the area that she said I couldn t go in and soI grabbed my menu and followed him. She was perturbed that I was sitting at the bar where she didn t want me. She looked at me and said oh feel free to sit there with an attitude. So then she goes to Richard and greets him and asks how he s doing. Very nice to him but extremely curt with me the entire time. Didn t check on me after she dropped food. Didn t fill coffee. Didn t care about bacon being limp. Just didn t really care about me at all. And no she wasn t swamped. I was the ONLY person eating. Her pal Richard was only having coffee. Maybe she has been there all night but if you re going to be nice to one person then you should probably treat all your customers the same. FYI, TIPS means To Insure Prompt Service . If there s little to no service, then there s little to no tip. When I was in last night, Sabrina was great and my tip reflected her service

I have had good experiences at this Denny s, but the staff on Sunday 9-9-23 are some of the most incompetent people I have had to deal with. The simplest request to be seated at the counter (only 2 people setting at the counter) is answered with there are to many people in that area. I would have to wait. I was told it would take about 30-60 minutes to get my order take and food delivered was fine with me. They still refused to let me sit at the counter and wait my turn.

Our server,bless her heart seemed very overwhelmed. She was very attentive when she could be. There did not seem to be enough kitchen staff. We were there for two hours. An hour of that was ordering and waiting for the food that was ordered (Which part of did not come out with the order) Food tasted good though and it was still hot when we finally got it.

This place is horrible, the server was playing around in the bathroom while I stood and waited to be seated. Finally once he made me choose the booth he brought me a drink, it tasted like chlorine, I ordered my food, he laughed, I asked whats funny, he said the picture of the food I ordered, then he was across the restaurant putting in the order and yelled out to me how I wanted my eggs. Mind you this place was not busy at all. Then he disappeared, another server brought out the food she acted very strange, I ordered a skillet which is very hot , she grabbed the skillet handle and just held on to it , me Im thinking it must not be very hot , lol I was wrong , I asked the other server do all of their beverages taste like chlorine and she said not to her. I asked for a water, she bought it out and made sure I tried some in front of her , it tasted like dirt. I decided to just take my food out. I went in to give them another shot today and stood at the front while the same young man sat and played tiddily winks with a young female , so I sat myself at the bar, waited about ten minutes and finally the same server that helped me last night showed up and was very polite, I asked about a dessert and she said they no longer have it, so I wasted 10 more minutes of my life here. While I was sitting, I noticed they had a can of cat food and a zipper bag with what appeared to be dry cat food in a shelf where it clearly shouldnt be
