I am in the process of divorce and was researching places. Driving down Waco Drive, I saw the office with a huge sign advertising divorce. I called and let them know the circumstance of my husband being incarcerated and the man that answered, very bluntly and rudely, said we cant handle that or we cant take that. Its too hard to serve them. Now correct me if Im wrong, but there is a waiver of service form that the other party can sign and get notarized waiving the serving process. If I figured that out on google, then a lawyer should very well know that as well. The sign says divorce, not all divorces except ones with parties hard to be served. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Terrible first impression. Hoping no one else with an incarcerated spouse or someone else waiving the need to serve wastes time with them. They seem to be concerned with nothing except making as much money as they can, which includes charging to send out someone to serve paperwork.
