This place is connected to a church, which is kind of like saying it s got a direct line to the Big Guy upstairs. I walked in and immediately felt already more holy I mean, you don t have to believe in Jesus to know when a place just feels good. But hey, a little divine intervention doesn t hurt! I ordered an iced americano, which was heavenly (pun intended). But then, I asked if they had cream, and the barista was like, Nope, but we can bless it with some milk! Next thing I know, my $2.50 americano suddenly costs me a dollar more. I m no math whiz, but I m pretty sure that s not how tax works. Either the price is off, or that milk was imported from the Promised Land. After committing my money to the coffee, I spotted a tray of cream further down the counter. Divine irony, right? But it s hard to stay mad when they re handing out free donuts like manna from heaven! I was on a tight budget and had to choose between food or coffee that morning, so finding those donuts was like stumbling upon hidden treasure. Manager Rob was super helpful and answered all my burning questions, and some friendly church folks even sat down to share stories with me. It was like coffee with a side of community how could you not love that? There s plenty of seating too, so whether you re planning to host a Nertz showdown, power through some work, or casually sip coffee with that cute gal you met at Cameron Park, this place has you covered. Just watch out for that sneaky milk up charge it s probably worth it for the experience, though! Parking: Theres a parking lot down the sidewalk, but if you show up later in the day when the rest of the buildings businesses are up and running, you may need to to do some stretches to help with squeezing in. The street parking is free, but you ll need a good strategy to snag one before someone else does. Manager Rob mentioned there s another lot down the street if you head toward Waco Drive. There is free parking all over Waco. So if all else fails, be prepared for a little walk think of it as earning your coffee and donut!

It was great stopping by Glory Bell! I loved trying out their coffee and loved that they had so many flavor options, but I have to admit, neither the coffee nor the location were appealing to me. As a college student who loves a good cup of coffee or an iced latte while studying, this place is definitely a skip for me with its limited number of outlets and my experience of screaming kids. I wouldnt mind coming again with friends to chat, though!

We love Glory Bell. The people are amazing, the coffee is good. It is a great family friendly place with a play area. Plenty of space for study nooks and quiet conversations as well. Kid-friendliness: Glory Bell welcomes kiddos with a play area filled with toys and bean bags for kids to sit and have quieter moments. Also, they sell kid friendly snacks.

Glory Bell Coffee is a gem in the middle of downtown Waco. The location is convenient, but parking can be a bit tricky. If youre having trouble finding a spot, I recommend street parking on the opposite side of St. Paul s Episcopal. The interior is spacious and beautifully decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Theres even a kids play area, which is a fantastic touch for families. I thoroughly enjoyed the cinnamon sugar cookie latte it was the perfect blend of sweet and comforting. My daughters devoured every bit of their cinnamon roll waffle, and we all loved the bacon breakfast burrito. Each item was delicious and made our visit memorable. If youre in the area, Glory Bell Coffee is definitely worth a visit! Kid-friendliness: There is a play area for kids that has legos and various toys.

The atmosphere is wonderful. I enjoyed a latte while listening to uplifting music and rain on the roof. Its a large area with lots of seating. There is definitely an uplifting vibe. The menu is limited but everything Ive ever gotten has been delicious. The staff (Lexi and Morgan I think) were very polite and we got our order quickly.

Came here for a quick coffee and a casual chat with a coworker around 2pm and were met with the screams of children. I love a family friendly environment, where you can bring your kids to have fun while you enjoy a cup of coffee, but this was extremely excessive and distracting. Multiple people left during this time because the kids were running and screaming throughout the entire coffee shop incessantly for nearly 2 hours, dragging their toys all over the floor. We got hit with their balls, multiple times their toy cars, and a rock that they threw. Truly disappointing that parents and the staff did not address this disturbance as one of the core values of this coffee shop is to create an inclusive space for all. When I mentioned to the staff that it was really disturbing and the bathrooms were left a mess by the kids they agreed and said they didn t know what to do. Hopefully employees can be better trained on proper conflict resolution so that next time this beautiful space can be enjoyed by all people

Other low reviews are right. Insanely expensive equipment but the staff arent real baristas by any stretch. Atmosphere is genuinely very nice---a shame the drinks arent up to par. The staff are friendly too. But if youre here for specialty coffee then you are likely to be disappointed.

30K La Marzocco machine ran by high schoolers who don t know the difference between a latte and cordado which fine, but not a good coffee experience. Aesthetically pleasing and serving as a wonderful community space for its church but not for serious coffee folks (drink pictures are misleading). Not enough food options. With more training and food options, could be an excellent coffee shop, esp with one of the best commercial espresso machines on the market. Kid-friendliness: Large space with play area

I wish the coffee shop had more varieties of foods/snacks and would add sodas (Coke, Dr. Pepper, etc.) for those who dont drink coffee - especially children. However, you cannot ask for a coffee shop with a better atmosphere! It is so peaceful; and has plenty of room for kids to play while adults visit. The coffee is excellent and most all of the baristas are very friendly and accommodating. It is my favorite coffee shop in Waco.

Beautiful place! I enjoyed meeting up with a friend for a Bible study. There was Christian music playing the whole time, which just added more to the experience! The password for wifi is also a Bible verse - so fun! Shout out to Tyler for being awesome & recommending a great drink (chunky monkey latte). Only downside was the price of the latte. It was over $7 for an iced latte. But it was good a little sweet, so just keep that in mind! I def plan on coming back!

There is no other place like this in Waco... possibly in all of Texas. At 4,000 square feet of space, it also rivals the largest Starbucks in Texas (also 4,000 sq ft) which is located in Houston. Its designed for everybody, including families. Including kids. In fact, its a great space for families with kids to come and hang out. But its also a fantastic space for remote workers, students, etc., to come work, study and get stuff done. Great location, plenty of parking. Glory Bell is also open late Thursday - Saturday evening, too! So if your brain kicks into high gear at night, then Glory Bell coffee is a great place to go for your caffeine fix. Writer/Photographer at ExpertTexan Parking: Plenty of street parking as well as parking around the corner. Kid-friendliness: Definitely built with kids in mind. Tons of games for kids of all ages from toddlers all the way up to teenagers. Highly recommend this coffee shop for families with kids! Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a ramp going in, and a ramp inside for getting between the upper and lower levels.

Parking: The parking lot used for the waco farmers market on Saturday/ Sunday is normally close to empty Mon-Fri & is a great place to park and walk to Glory Bell Coffee ! Our family really enjoyed our visit to Glory Bell Coffee. My dirty chai was deliciously strong. They have many good drink options. My two favorite things about this place is the worship music and the family friendly atmosphere... Its a great hang out spot! (Poké bowl is from J Petal.) There are many things for the kids to do while you sip your drink and read a good book or catch up with a friend. Theres a container room that has a play area complete with LEGO, a peg wall, a play kitchen, and books. Theres also a kids seating area in the main room, along with corn hole, giant connect four, and a train table. If youre needing a quiet space, they have a small meeting room. The corn hole and connect four can echo a bit, so keep that in mind if you *need* quiet. Im not sure if its a promo for their grand opening or if its a permanent thing, but we got free bite size cookies with each drink and they were a yummy lemon flavor. Anyways, I highly recommend this place! Its going to be one of our new favorites.
