If in the Waco area, ask for Dan. He takes pride in his work and will go the extra mile in customer service . He worked really hard to remove some tough old stains. They have not resurfaced like some stains do and its been over a week. I tried another company previously and carpet stains reappeared. They were less expensive; however, Dan proves: You get what you pay for.

Dan and his associate were super friendly! They were on time and easy to work with. However, as much as I d love to give 5 stars, I don t feel like the actual cleaning was super thorough. They did get a red stain out upstairs & they wipe baseboards, which I was happy about! But I did have to point out a few spots that hadn t been cleaned super well. It seemed like the cleaning was more of a quick run over rather than a deep clean. I mentioned that the carpet was almost all the way dry when I went to check out the upstairs rooms they had just done, which seemed odd to me - I expected it to be pretty damp still after just being cleaned. I have a carpet cleaning machine that I usually only use for quick cleanups, but decided to go over the two bottom stairs and the entry way to my room with just water to see if they were pretty clean since I felt a little uneasy. I expected the water to probably be slightly brown still, but unfortunately it was pretty dark. Like I said, super nice guys, but I don t feel like my carpets got as clean as I would have hoped.

I have known the Dynamic Duo Dan and Debbie for many years. Debbie is prompt to answer the call and schedule your appointment. Dan and his crew of professionals will arrive when they say, with the equipment to do the job in an outstanding manner. Dan was the first carpet cleaner that actually cleaned my baseboards. Over the span of at least 15 years, he has cleaned my home, office and now my church. Apparently, there is no job too large or too small for them to do a fantastic job on. Love this company!!!! And yes, I would even recommend them to my mother.

Honestly a great experience and would do this again for sure. Great guy, super friendly and was making jokes and laughing with us while he cleaned the carpet. Well, they responded fast. Showed up on time. Let me know it is not a guarantee to remove odor so they were honest. Process was quick...less that 30 minutes. We will see if it works. Dan from HOT Chem-Dry was very professional and informative. He previewed the area to be cleaned and explained the pre-treatment and cleaning process needed. As this was older carpet with matted high traffic areas, I was sceptical whether it could be saved. I was pleasantly surprised with the result however, their process not only cleaned the carpet, but lifted the high traffic areas. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants a more professional and thorough cleaning than other methods can provide.

Heart of Texas ChemDry was able to make our upholstered recliner look like new again! Because of spending more time at home during the pandemic, our upholstered furniture and area rugs have truly been far more heavily used that in the past. Dan (co-owner) systematically cleaned the recliner and then the two high traffic area rugs. We will definitely call Heart of Texas ChemDry again for the cleaning of all our upholstery and area rugs!

I have an aging pet that cannot control his bladder so naturally I have worried that the urine smell would not be possible to get rid of. The first time I used Heart of Texas Chemdry, I got to meet the owner Dan and let me say my first impression of him is CLEAN. He knows the value of respecting clientele, their belongings and their pets. How much more American is to be the owners and operator by the way, this is respect and appreciate as well! Debbie the owner was very rude on the phone and was no assistance when a mistake was made on area coverage. I have not had a phone call for my appointment so I called the day before and she blamed everything on the coverage area when I asked why I had not been called she rudely answered again I do not service that area. Had the come and clean our large sectional sofa and they did a great job, very thorough and friendly. Only reason for 3 stars is that when I called to get a ballpark quote I was told $150 ish. One he was here and ready to start it was more than 75% higher. Recommend getting a firm quote before you commit!

I scheduled our carpet cleaning day with Deb (through emails and phone confirmation). Dan called to let me know he was on his way - and he arrived on time, ready to clean our rooms upstairs (we were his last stop for the day). He was very thorough, examining rooms where our dog had a couple of accidents. He cleaned the four rooms - taking care of those special trouble areas. Scheduled a cleaning through the website, read all of the fine print. Someone emailed and texted me to confirm appt - no phone call, but not a big deal. I had to cancel the appt on the day of, due to a family emergency. The person answering stated there would be a $50 cancellation fee. NO WHERE in any of the correspondence for scheduling, or on the website, does it say there is a fee for canceling an appt, otherwise it wouldnt have been such a big deal. Kept all correspondence and a screen shot of website as proof. Submitted a complaint to the BBB, also.

I wouldnt recommend this company to any one who actually wants clean carpets. When I called to schedule Dean was very friendly and got a technician to come out the same day to clean my carpets. Noel came and was very friendly and on time. However, he made the comment that he couldnt really get the carpets clean, and that proved to be the case. He was in and out of there very quickly- less than an hour of cleaning, and he was done. Weve had carpets cleaned yearly in a home 600 sq feet smaller than this one, and they took around 2-3 hours to do those carpets, and they came out perfect every time. This job was so poorly performed that you couldnt even tell they had been cleaned. They had told me they also clean baseboards and window sills as part of their steam cleaning process- well these pictures will show that they absolutely didnt clean any of those during their cleaning. I was renting and had to go back and re-clean the carpets myself (which took me 4 hours) because I couldnt get our deposit back due to the poor work this company did. We had pet frogs and the corner where their terrarium was had about 6 dead crickets left on the floor AFTER chem dry finished cleaning these carpets. When I called to request a refund, Dean was again very nice to me, and listened to my concerns, and then later I was called by the rudest lady Ive ever spoken to on the phone, who is the owner of chem-Dry. I didnt catch her name, due to the volume and tone of which she was speaking to me. The first sentence out of her mouth, after confirming who I was, was to say what kind of game are you playing here. I explained my confusion- then she said the carpets were cleaned and I was basically lying. She also told me to stop talking and listen to her before I ever had a chance to say anything to her. She threatened me to NOT post my review because you need to be very careful what you say about my company- weve been doing this for 32 years!First off, you shouldnt have to threaten customers to NOT post a review. Before requesting a refund, I had requested they come redo the heavy traffic patterns in the carpet, but they refused. Horrible service, Horrible company, and I cant believe they are in business! I have picture proof that my Bissell ProHeat cleaned FAR superior to Chem Dry! If I could figure out how to post the pictures on here I would! Like I said I wouldnt and wont recommend them to anyone. They use to be preferred by the property management that we go through, but within the past year, they have decided this company does HORRIBLE work and no longer recommends them to ANYONE! Thats making a statement. The property management apologized to me that I received old paperwork that had recommended them because they definitely do NOT recommend them.
