We stopped in to eat 9/2/24 and left a 23% tip on a $22.00 dollar bill. Come today 9/4/24 we receive an alert from our credit card company wanting us to confirm if we left a 50% tip on a $22.00 dollar bill at, Victorias Cafe. No! We did not, times are hard. I get it, but they are hard for my family as well. Do not steal. I dont care if it was 6 bucks more. Do not do that! Check your receipts.

OMG!!!! So I ordered 2 bacon and egg tacos for breakfast....and sat there for awhile and thought...well Im in my big truck and will be leaving and no vehicle to get around...Ill order 2 carne quisada with cheese for supper later cause I can heat them up on my truck...WENT TO GO PAY...DAMNIT...ALMOST $35 FOR 4 TACOS...GUESS WHAT I LEFT THE CARNE QUISADA THERE DIDNT GET THOSE!!!! Great family dinner spot. The food was fresh and hot. We got the ground beef chalupas and tacos al carbón, both Were tasty and fresh and tasty. Definitely a better trucker friendly stop. There is a truck stop right next door with a ton of parking. Parking: Truck parking in the back of restaurant entrance at the truck stop off the street NOT highway. No northbound entrance at the time of visit. Had to go south to hit a U turn

Great service and great mellow atmosphere. The Menudo was a little to grease and the soup a little to thick for my taste. The cilantro and the onion need to be fresh; I would recommend to pick the yellow and dark leaves out of the cilantro before chopping, they can ruin the good taste of food.

Delicious breakfast, the staff were very nice, and the place is cozy. Update: I visited again with my family and was surprised when paying the check that we were charged for the kids waters which were brought out in styrofoam cups. I didnt ask for styrofoam cups nor did the waitress tell me that they cost 75¢ each. I ordered waters because theres no charge for water anywhere else Ive been. Also, they charge for to-go boxes. Im not opposed to a restaurant charging for those things, but Ive never experienced it anywhere else, so it should be made known upfront thats the case to avoid surprises. Downgrading my rating because I dont like surprises when it comes to money.

Driving through Victoria and stopped here by accident. Now purposely making a stop every time we travel through! Best food, hands down, that we ve ever had. Michelada s are incredible! Charro beans and refied are good. Tortillas aren t store bought. Carne guisada is also on the kids menu. It truly was enough food for an adult! We ve now tried several items and they mail it every time. Everything fantastic! Now we plan our travel around eating here.

Right off Highway 59. Plenty of parking; trucks ok, alongside and behind. A full selection of Mexican breakfast lunch and dinner served all day, with bar, margaritas, beers, soft drinks, and lots of good pictures on the menu. Spacious with many tables and chairs in one large open room. The food is delicious! And served quickly. Clean friendly and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended if you re in the mood for authentic Mexican meals and drinks and don t want to wander too far off the highway.

Our usual place was closed, so we decided to try a different Mexican restaurant. The food was pretty good, better than we expected. It definitely smelled amazing when we walked in. The prices were fantastic. The service wasnt bad. I had hoped the waitress would come back to see if we needed refills or wanted dessert. After waiting for the bill that never came, my husband went up to desk to ask for a left over box and pay the check. We would go back if we were on that side of town again and were hungry.

Good breakfast on route between Houston and Corpus Christi. Had the chilaquiles with green sauce. Flour tortillas. The food and coffee were good and hot. Everything had good flavor. I accidentally left my AirPods on the table. I was sure they were lost. When I called the restaurant they said they found them. They held them for me until I was able to swing bye on the return trip.
