We usually Love this place . To start off the table next to us said whats going on the chips an salsa arent the same. We noticed it too. Then our food came what a NASTY disappointment. Everyones plate had most of the food left on it. An WE are to- go plate people everytime! Not this time NOT even for my dogs. $43.73 Wasted

Im not a Victoria native but have a lot of family there. I have been going to Casa Ole from time to time since the 90s, and Ive always enjoyed it. Our waiter, Walter, was fabulous, and our food was tasty. Fyi, if you dont know, the restaurant is IN the shopping mall but dont let that deter you from some great service & food!

I love casa ole but I ordered on door dash last night and got fajitas, the chicken was very good but the beef was very chewy, I beleive it was cut wrong , I had to cut in small peices to eat, I useually dont complain but it was over 50 dollars plus delivery charges came out to over 70.00 was not impressed

Let me rewrite this review. Everything was good until the waitress forgot my small queso which was no big deal because if it was anything like the mushy spinach enchiladas that has some kind of preheated mush inside with melted cheese on top. Im sorry thats not Casa ola that i remember growing up.

Unfortunately, I m pushed to rate one star. My food was old and stale. The rice , if that s what you d like to call it, was crunchy and half cooked. I attempted to eat it thinking I was biting into the crunchy rice, but I instead bit into what I think was a bug leg. Won t be coming back

We had excellent service but the food wasn t good at all! The only good food from there is the chips and dips, everything else tasted frozen or had no flavor at all. I got an order of Mexican corn and the corn looked grilled but the core of it was still cold as if pulled from the freezer right before cooking. I also had chicken fajitas with rice and beans and nothing had any flavor at all. My boyfriend got a chicken fried steak which looked good but tasted like it had been frozen and heated and topped with gravy. I would ve given one star but the service was great. Definitely don t recommend eating here if you re looking for flavorful Tex-Mex

Been eating Casa Ole since 1982. Beaumont, Houston, Jasper, etc., Victoria is my favorite. Been eating there almost 30 years, 2-4 times per month, plus all birthdays, anniversaries and holidays. Staff always friendly. Thanks Reed, Denise, Cole, and John! Manager is there nearly everyday and always is putting in work and helping out. This makes the place. When you see waitstaff tell the manager to let them do the work, you have a good manager. That translates to quality everywhere, especially in the food! Which is why we keep going back.

As with the mall itself, this place has tons of nostalgia for me. Im now 37 years old with four kids, and I remember eating here when I was my sons age. The food is always hot, service is always amazing, and our family loves coming here. Highly, highly recommend.

Waitress was awesome, checked on us several times and stayed on top of our refills. As far as the food, thats a whole nother story! The only thing that was good was the chips and dips that they serve before your food. Everything was cold /old not fresh. The nachos were served with stewed meat that was cooked with tomatoes if that makes sense and shredded cheese. The taco salad look like it came from a kids menu with an adult price of $11.99 (size is about the size of a kids hand), the shell was very stale and greasy as if it was refried, and came with a whopping 4 small chunks of fajita chicken. The cheese enchilada plate had rice that was not cooked all the way and the enchiladas were cold and hardly any cheese, mostly sauce and the corn tortillas. The bill was $53 with 3 drinks, for that price youre better off going to Texas Roadhouse and getting steaks. At least their food is fresh. Anyways we will definitely not be going back.

We really enjoy living in victoria (again) for about 1.5 months and been here 5 times. I recall several years ago when we ate here they had gone down on quality and really didnt like it. So glad we tried it again since they picked up their game. Service speed is pretty fair/fast. Lunch hour with my kid we were in/out in est 30 min. Whole family of 5 around 1 to 1 hr 15 min. Enchiladas and fajitas are good. The sides/contiments provided with fajitas are skimpy and provide only enough for 1 taco (very little lettuce sour cream and no guac given). Lunch margaritas are only $2.5 and the sample flight margarita only $5, so great deal and taste. My idea of a hirchata has always been dreamed about and is in my list to now try.

Service was outstanding. I ordered the casa sampler with no Pico, no sour cream, no guac, and you could tell they put it on the plate and forgot, and then tried to scrape it off and just put a pile of refried beans on top, but it is hard to get guac and sour cream off food once it touches it. Other than that though, everything was excellent.

Don t eat here. My husband and I went to Casa Ole for dinner. We noticed the place was almost completely empty except for the people complaining their food was burned. Our food wasn t burned, just really bad. I ordered chicken flautas but only found 1 piece of chicken in the 2 flautas. The refried beans were not the color of any beans I ve ever seen. About 2 a.m. my stomach started cramping. Seriously, go someplace else.

Experience in this restaurant was unpleasant. Waiter needed help with customer service.. We asked the server about different foods and he had no clue. We asked if margaritas were wine based he didnt know. We asked if we could get a side of lettuce and tomatoe to eat my chewy fajitas and he said nowe have a Cobb salad. I eventually order a strawberry margaritas, it had so much mix in there you couldnt even drink it, so sweet. I understand they closed at 9pm we got there at 730. Basically felt like they were kicking us out. Horrible experience.

That s one of the worst restaurants I have ever been in. The rice was cold and hard uncooked. enchiladas were awful I mean awful with a piece of cheese melted over it. I used to like going to this place as a kid, but here lately its just meh. The margaritas were good, but the food is just not what you would expect.. so, one point I got spinach enchiladas, which were cold, and they asked me if I wanted Pico de Gallo and it was not Pico, it was a few overly large onion slices from the middle with some tomato and one cilantro slice. This time I got the stuffed avocado and it was a few slices of avocado with some beef with an egg like bread shell that was way too big for the avocado (that was there) with a whole bunch of cheese. It was good if you like breading and cheese, but it left me feeling very sad because it couldve been so much better. I didnt finish it.. The waitress was nice at least.

WONDERFUL people. My mom is almost 93 and lives in assisted care in Victoria. One of her two favorite restaurants is Casa Ole. I havent seen her in 18 mos and she hasnt eaten out in the same. I told your hostess about my moms issues with noise because of her hearing aids. She asked if we could sit in a closed section. Your fantastic server Casey agreed to serve my friend, mom and myself at a table of my moms choice. What wonderful service and a great time for my mom! Very delicious Tex-Mex food. The margaritas are a bit strong, as an advisory. :) They can be anyway, for me at least. I usually get the cheese enchiladas. Cant go wrong with it. The takeout is fast and accurate, but sometimes boxed a bit messy, but its fine. Their beef fajitas for two are delicious as well. The fudge brownie dessert is delicious and a HUGE portion was not expecting that! Delicious queso dip as well.

When the fake flowers look dead and have an inch of dust on them, you know what kind of quality food youre about to get. Unfortunately I saw them after I eat. They serve somewhat texmex tasting food. Its not quite texmex. Their guacamole and water mix is a risk I didnt take but once. It was edible, so better than not having gone. Ill not recommend this. Service was good, so a win to earn a couple of stars there.
