I stayed upstairs. The smell was horrible it was a mix of marijuana and mold. There is a dope dealer in the second floor and he used a runner that is often out in the hallway until he gets a call and leaves in the surbaban that s parked outside. Not a safe place for kids at all. He walked past me with a his hand on his pistol, honestly hard to tell we are even in America anymore once you walk inside. Spend the extra money stay somewhere else. Safety: This is not a safe place. Walkability: Not at all

This was a mini staycation. It was nice quiet not a lot of foot traffic. A minimal continental breakfast. There is an indoor pool. Beds a lil squeaky ..but room shower and bed were clean. A++! Staff was very very kind and helpful to us for our 3 day stay. A great bargain for the money! Will definitely return!!

Word place I have stayed booked 2 nights but only stayed one. I should have read the reviews first. Pool was green so did not look healthy enough to swim in. The halls have carpet that are stained and had a really bad odor, the room was not clean. The website said they are pet friendly but the sign in the lobby states no pets so when I inquired they said not unless the are a service dog. Continental breakfast was juice. Huge disappointment.

I am extremely disappointed! I stayed two nights. Where do I start hmmm .. well first of all the reason why I chose this place was for the indoor pool but I didn t get to enjoy it because it was dirty and they added way too much bleach ! So much we could open our eyes because they would burn ! We got out immediately. Secondly, there was no hair dryer .. thirdly, the last morning I went grab breakfast and to my surprise there wasn t any coffee ! And it was very early maybe 7:30 and the watered down the apple juice and the orange juice! We threw it away .. I will not return for sure !

Rooms were dirty and ac unit had mildew in it which gave off a stale water smell. Pool was greenish and kind of cloudy. Literally everything had some sort of stain on it as you can see from the photos. Definitely check your bed for bugs as this is the sort of place that wouldn t check for that. This place is absolutely DISGUSTING!!! Our AC unit had MOLD all on it, bed sheets were stained, freezer had nasty food stuck in it still, and the window curtains were stained. When we brought it to their attention about the AC having mold and asking for a different room they agreed to switch us rooms however the other room also had mold on the ac vent and the lamps had missing light bulbs. When we said we were checking out and not staying there the manager called me and said I was just making excuses to not stay there. I told him I was not making excuses and that I had showed the woman working at the front desk the mold on the AC unit. He said I was making excuses because we checked in at 3pm and didnt notify them of all of this until 8pm. This is because we went in to change clothes and immediately leave for a visitation for death in my family so we didnt have time to inspect anything as we were rushing to leave. Beware!!! This facility is poorly ran and very unsanitary. Also, the indoor pool is green and the smell in the halls in foul! We went next door to Baymont and had a much better experience!

Hotel is run down, lobby and front desk are cluttered, and the room only had a thin bed spread. There is a washer and dryer in the indoor pool area. Pool looked unsanitary (greenish). When I asked for a full refund after looking at the room, the owner refused. I contacted Wyndham for assistance but have not received my full refund. I did not stay in the room. It also had an unpleasant odor.

I stayed for two nights to attend a funeral. I found the room to be clean and comfortable. I liked that it had hard floors and not carpet. Was easy to get to and close to where I needed to be. Id stay there again.

Room was very clean though furniture was a little rundown. Breakfast no longer includes any protein. No yogurt, no eggs or sausage, not even peanut butter. They had waffles, cereal, and bread. However they do a very good job cleaning everyday and it was a comfortable stay. They replace all your towels everyday even if theyre hanging up.

Absolutely insane front desk lady (possibly the owner or manager)! Our stay over the Christmas weekend wasn t bad at all, nice front desk interactions with a gentleman all weekend long. When it came to checkout day, we asked for clean towels for our shower before leaving .the lady went CRAZY!! Started yelling about us paying for the towel because we used a hand towel to wipe a small coffee spill. Apparently, the towels cannot be used for spills. This woman deliberately started lying and being very erratic threatening to call the cops (of course I had to record). I gladly paid the $20 for the towel, all while she was having a tantrum at the front desk about how she s not a thief?? She seemed super triggered by every word spoken and it was just such a sad ending to our enjoyable weekend. She attempted to charge my card 3 different prices for the towels without discussing with me because she was angry. Luckily my card was locked for approval. Decent hotel for the price, but I see that this particular woman was angry, bitter, and ABSOLUTELY CRAZY. Please be aware of what you use during your PAID HOTW STAY and protect your card for scam charges at this place! (Side note: hand towel was soaked in water and clean of coffee before we even left the hotel. So she got clean towels and money to buy news ones!!)

This hotel is disgusting. It smelled like something dead outside, the room smelled like nasty old food, the shower curtain had yellow Nasty stains all over it. The bed was so uncomfortable, and the mini fridge had rust all over it and didnt work. The floor was dirty and the pillows had red marks all over. Worst experience ever.

-money, that s all the front desk lady cares about. Update, this hotel was definitely the worst. Since we moved to a better hotel the front desk doesn t care if you had paid online or in person. We usually paid through Agoda because that was the more inexpensive option. The hotel that we are staying at now does not care about how you pay whether online or in person as long as it s paid for. The front desk at super 8 hated when people paid online and only cares about making a profit even though for some individuals it might be better paying online.

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel, the owners & staff! I had an unexpected family emergency here, 10 hours from home, and had to find inexpensive & safe accommodations for me and a grandson. It is CLEAN. It is COMFORTABLE. Everyone has been so KIND. Ive been offered HELP. Often. The location is QUIET. The parking lot is well-lit & we feel safe coming & going at all hours. We have been here an entire month now and I could not ask for better accomodations. Ive read some really negative reviews and cannot even begin to believe that about this hotel. I will always choose to stay here when coming for visits.

Warning!!!!!!! Stay away from this place!!!!!! Upon check in I quickly found out there is no elevator , but they have an indoor pool. . I have a mold allergy and this place is so full of mold by the time I left from checking in at 10 at night and leaving at 7 am my eyes got swollen. See pictures below The bed.....well the bed is hardly considered a bed. Its a thinly covered box of springs that will hurt you on top of a fold out style frame. I woke up and was sure I would have been better off sleeping in my truck. See photos below I am recommending to my company to take this off the list of acceptable places to stay while traveling for work. I am so much worse than when I started upon check in , I regret not spending my own money and checking somewhere else ten minutes after I got here and my allergies bothered me so severely. Shame on you owner of this place for making any guest have such an uncomfortable and miserable stay. What did I do to deserve such lack of care for your facility?????

NO ELEVATOR! Cart full of luggage and when pointed towards the stairs I asked which was to the elevator and was told there is no elevator. What hotel doesnt have an elevator???! Room was clean and acceptable for the great price I paid. The beds were kind of hard and uncomfortable though. Go to take a shower and NO HOT WATER! Front desk said they were working on it. At breakfast time the lady at front desk was the sweetest person ever and extremely helpful (she was not the owner from the night before that was very short and snappy with us)

The owners/ manager is Very Rude, they told me they could accommodate me and my group of 5 people total for one price then when we got there we had to get another larger room for a higher price because they couldnt do the double room like they told me they could. Then they charged my Credit Card 2 times and then told me it was my problem & to call my bank to take care of it. The whole time I was on the phone with the managerowner she was talking to everyone else but me almost the whole conversation. Then hung up on me. They dont like to give extra towels, or anything, also doesnt smell pleasant at all. Over all I would not even give this place a star if I didnt have too I would give the a negative star! We had a late check in. After we had checked into our room .We had noticed we didnt get the room we had paid for. The room had an awful smell. We had booked a room for 2 queens and a sofe bed suite. We went to the front desk to discuss this issue. We were then informed that the room wasnt available. So we had asked for a refund. So then they told us they couldnt give one after we had checked in. Doesnt really make since cuz we couldnt look at the room until we checked in. They had a sign but it was off to the left not insight. Our room didnt come with a working remote and the front desk lady tried to make her way into our room without a mask after we had informed her of this issue. We did get a partial refund. There was no apology for the inconvenience. I wouldnt recommend staying here.

Honestly if i could rate 0 that ll be it! The rooms need more light, they were dingy looking. The beds was not comfortable, they were hard & firm (& not in a good way either). Only one area (which is by the door) has carpet, & the floors were dusty. The little carpet section had, what looked like blood stains I DO NOT Recommend! Also the manager did not offer a refund because the room was used for only TWO hours. The Best Western across the way is better.

The staff are very nice and so are the rooms. The location is incredibly convenient to the mall area and several nice shopping venues. Theyve got a larger than average mini fridge in the rooms, which is nice if you use it, the pool seems smaller than average but its indoors so we got to swim while it was raining out!

They should change the name to The Roach Motel...booked my room for the weekend and when I woke up for my morning constitutional a big roach crawled up on my leg as I was sitting down then after I got up to wash my hands I turned the light on over the sink and at least 8 more nasty roaches were crawling over my toothbrush...needless to say I packed my stuff and got outta there...room 223

Absolutely loved the manager Dolly, shes a sweet heart, me and my husband moved from New Mexico and are currently staying in hotels so weve been at the super 8 for about 2 weeks and Ive got to see the people who stay and who work, the rooms are clean the majority of guests are workers and some families here and there, the pool is open and there are sack breakfast bags. All in all its a comfy clean hotel

Last minute stay and Im so happy with our choice to stay at this location. The front receptionist was a delight yesterday evening. The location was very clean. The room we stay in was very clean and tidy as it should be. We will definitely keep in mind for future stays.

Super 8 s have a history of not really being clean so we really tried to avoid this hotel. (City was completely booked) That was until we saw it had 4.2 stars on Google. We thought okay, we ll give it a try. Nope. Should have listened to our gut feelings. 106 smelled strong of smoke as soon as we entered. And the toilet paper holder and toilet paper was missing from the room. The toilet had hairs over the back of the seat. My husband went to talk to the front about the smell and we were told that was the only room they had. So they couldn t move us. Since we were stuck we tried to make the best of it. Then the AC ran all night. It wouldn t turn off. And the toilet decided to do the same thing, all. Night. Long. We checked out and learned we d need to stay in town for another night, every single place we looked for was booked, except the super 8. With no place else to go we make the reservation for a second night. Upon making the reservation I ask for a higher floor. ( They tend to be cleaner in hotels) Upon check in she hands us the key to another 1st floor room and tells us we were the last ones and that s all they had left. Again we make our way to the room, only to open the door and there be 2 roaches. I killed them both and went back to the front. I tell her about our experiences so far. She tells me they actually took the room we had from the night before off the market to fix the smell. And there was no where else to put us. As I m walking back to our room, I pass 106 again and hear people being loud. She lied. Lastly this hand soap dispenser for all to use in the rooms during COVID has GOT to be a violation of some sort. These kind of things are what happen when corporate isn t involved. We are rewards members and are absolutely disgusted at this hotel.

I had an emergency and had to get out of the house. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful even despite Covid. They had good vending machines. Though one note...the water was cold on one night since I stayed two nights. I only had hot water on one night. So I can t give them five stars but it really was a nice hotel.

I have stayed in several hotels in Victoria and this one is my favorite. The best part is the indoor pool. The beds are extremely comfortable, the bathrooms are always clean, the people at the front desk and very welcoming and courteous and there is plenty of parking. I always recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to or a stop in this city.

The beds were comfortable. There was a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The continental breakfast was good. The coffee available all day for free. Hot water available for tea. My granddaughter enjoyed the pool. Rooms were clean. That was the second time my family and I stayed there.
