Ill start by saying for the price, the food is pretty good. The chicken sandwhich was a little dry if Im being honest, but the Fries were incredible. Also I hope eventually they get condiments for the tables, and bigger trays for the meals. I love the location we need more options on this side of town. Im rooting for their success and continual improvement!

This new restuarant is located where the old Texas Drive In used to be on S. Laurent St., Victoria. The premises was clean with apparent remodeled with fresh bright paint throughout. I wanted something fast for dinner because I had another stop to make for the evening. The menu was easy to read and service was fast and courteous. Best of all, the wings and waffle fries were hot and delicious. I recommend it.

Chick TX is an excellent new eatery. Were talking quality food, outstanding service, and a staff that makes you feel more than just a customer; youre family. Lets talk about their food. Hot, fresh, delicious. Your sandwiches, youre going to get a juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked piece of chicken squeezed between toasted buns. With 9 sauces to customize your sandwiches with, you really cant go wrong. If that doesnt sound good to you, then you better get some hearing aids. The Spicy Bourbon wings were also delicious. Overall, I had 3 out of the 9 sauces and they were all good. Spicy Bourbon, BBQ Sauce, & Sweet n Sour. Im confident the rest are just as good. Ive had their waffle fries three times. Theyve been hot and fresh and crispy every single time. Perfectly seasoned, crisp. You may lose a little bit of that crispiness on a to-go order but theyre still a hit. My family also loved them, even while they were a little bit soggy. Some advice: consider an open container, like a bag, for the fries because that steam in an enclosed space is going to be what makes them soggy. If you let them breathe a little, theyll stay crispy. You can also line them with a paper towel. I really appreciated the customer service. They were always very kind and respectful towards me, and the cashier even checked on me in the middle of my meal and asked if I needed anything. Chick TX is doing everything right and they have a lot of potential. At the time of writing this, they have plans to upgrade their menu, beautify the outside of the restaurant, and bring forms of entertainment like live music and televisions to their dining space. And although theyve just hatched, Chick TX seems to be growing up real fast. Theyve got the drive, the passion, the quality of food, and the customer service to really become something special. 5/5. If you like fast, casual dining experiences and chicken, give this place a shot.
