Yelp lets you reserve a table, but staff say they dont look at that. The voice answer service on their phone says to use it. We were skipped on our table after already telling the hostess that we would be outside. Manager initially said thats not his fault but later comped our appetizers. Spinach dip is really disgusting. Does not taste good at all. All the other food was good. Table of 7 on a Friday night took about 1hr and 45min.

It was a great date night out! Pow wow shrimp was the best it s ever been and the steak was perfectly cooked! Our server Irais, was so welcoming and helpful at every step. She was so wonderful and really made the night special. If you haven t gone yet, go. If you have been, go back! The blood orange margarita is only for a limited time!

Classy sports bar vibe. Food was good. Servers were attentive and friendly. We were in an area with six booths. Two were occupied when we arrived and subsequently vacated. Each time, the bussers cleared tables, disinfected table and benches, and then swept. All the janitorial activity infringed on our dining experience. Since it was at about 20% capacity, they couldve waited to disinfect and sweep until after we left.

I have been hearing lots of good things about Aspen Creek Grill & hubby and I decided we needed to try it out. Iris was our awesome waitress! She was so friendly & helpful. She answered all of our questions & then some. Maybe she should start training other waitresses because she was SUPER busy but it didn t feel like we were being put on the back burner. The food was delicious! I got Sirloin Choice Steak with garlic butter shrimp; hubby got Country Fried Steak. The shrimp was salty to my taste. I won t be ordered the green chili grits anymore because it was very dry. The mac & cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy and the coleslaw were yummy! We will definitely be back though!

I was expecting this place to be a run of the mill restaurant. I know it isn t super fancy. But 99% of the time this place is on point. I always eat my steak with sauce but the ribeye is perfect. The food is almost always spot on. The customer service is great. This never feels like going to one of the other chain restaurants. So if you are the owner, manager, bartender, waiter/waitress, host/hostess, chef, cook, busser, or whatever. You do great work and it is appreciated. And if you had one bad experience I recommend going back. It was an anomaly.

Food was good. First time I was there I got the Decadent Salmon and it was ok the second time I was there I got the same plate and it was so much better. I had both the marshmellow old fashioned. Was not too impressed. If you are an Old fashioned enthusiast you wont be impressed. then I had a regular old fashioned and it was much better. Overall prices are great, food is good and you will enjoy this place

Aspen was great when it first opened. We have eaten there several times since then and each time the food and service has gone down hill. We went there for wind down Wednesday recently and the bar manager was rude and refused to make my wife the drink she requested. A simple vodka and tonic, because the vodka she asked for was for their signature drinks only. We should have left and taken our business elsewhere, but since we had food coming out we ate and left. My bill had to be readjusted because of and over charge, I happened to catch. We wont be back. This was during their happy hour, that use to be full of people. There were 5 including us in the bar area. That may tell them something.

We went here with a friend for dinner and it was great. Our server, Barbara, was friendly and attentive. I got fish & chips, my husband got country fried chicken, our son ate fries and broccoli, and our friend got a burger. We split a fried cheesecake for dessert. It was delicious, not too crowded for a weekend, and we had a great time. We will be back.

My wife, father, and I went for an early dinner around 5:30 p.m. My father is over 90 and I have a bad leg so we need to sit at a table; booths are too challenging. We sat in the bar at a table with a sticky tabletop. We had to literally peel the menu off the table where it had stuck. The waitress said the lament had been compromised due to a cleaning agent. My wife felt the table behind us and it too was sticky. Waitress acted like it was not big deal and never once offered to seat us somewhere else. Also our potato skins were overcooked as was my baked potato. My wifes green beans looked and felt like they were poured out of a can and were like chewing celery. The waitress never removed the appetizer dishes, nor did she ask how our food was and then disappeared never to check on us for drink refills. Finally she shows up then has to go get the check and two take out containers. The whole time we were there I observed groups of employees simply standing around chatting with each other and not taking care of customers or us. This was a rotten experience that we will not repeat. Plenty of other places to eat in Tyler.

This was our first time ordering takeout and not enjoying our meal. I had country fried chicken which was so flat and mostly crust. This was not white chicken breast as usual. I still feel this is the best ribeye steak you can get in Tyler. The atmosphere is moderate. I have not been here in the last 2 years where my steak was not cooked to perfection (I order medium to medium rare). If ribeye steak is what you want, this is your place! Me and my fiancée come here frequently and we always get delicious food, and great service!! The ribeye and powwow shrimp is what we share. Tonight the steak was a tad undercooked for my fiancées liking. Terrible, dive bar at best .tables at so sticky because management and staff hasn t changed the water nor deep cleaned in forever . homemade thousand island dressing is rank or out of date thankfully I used a small bit to test and finished with salt and pepper, cancelled my to go order because can t trust the kitchen steak tolerable because of the fire charred flavor didn t finish because of gristle in the other half. Came to this location after a fellow road warrior colleague recommended the Irving tx location. I live in the road working catastrophes thought I could trust the recommendation because food and fuel are what I spend most of by check on; two lessons learned today! First time there! Waitress was very awesome and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the grilled chicken mac n cheese and green chili grits (which were all awesome!) Had fried cheese cake and ice cream for desert. I am originally from New Mexico and have eaten green chili from Hatch NM all my life. Never had it with grits till today. So my husband took me out to eat here for a surprise pre mothers day dinner. We both had never been here before. We were greeted with a smile and seated promptly. Our server Ashley came almost immediately to welcome us and get our drink orders. When we told her we hadnt ever been there she was super excited and began going over the menu with us and gave us very good recommendations. She was the perfect level of attentive to our needs and making sure our entire meal was satisfactory. The manager on duty Tristen came by and welcomed us and asked how we were doing. He seemed very pleased we were there. After speaking with us he thanked us for coming and invited us back. Everything was delicious! Everything came quickly. We both got the 10oz sirloin with broccoli and loaded baked potato. I also got a house margarita and he got a XX. The drinks were perfect, the steak was cooked exactly how we wanted it, broccoli was tender and fresh and the potatoes were huge!! We also got the fried cheesecake which was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going back. 10/10 recommend this restaurant. Ask for Ashley I promise you wont be disappointed.

Our appetizers were cold and our entries were lukewarm. The one shining light was the fried cheesecake with ice cream. We go here fairly often and are part of the rewards program. I got a free appetizer coupon for my birthday, so we invited friends and the 4 of us went for a meal. I decided to have the Pow Wow Shrimp appetizer and a baked potato as my dinner. When our waitress brought the bill, she said management had told her that the free appetizer cannot be used as a meal, so they would have to charge us full price. Very very disappointed in Aspen Creek, pulling this on us at checkout! Nothing was noted on the coupon itself, and our waitress didn t say anything when I ordered it as my meal. So for $11 they disappointed (formerly) loyal customers (who often bring friends!) and earned a negative review as well. Happy birthday to me!

I have enjoyed every time Ive been here! I always get their chips and queso! I also enjoy their burgers with the gluten-free buns, definitely a solid option for those of us with dietary restrictions. My wife has greatly enjoyed their salmon and catfish dishes as well. The menu has been all-around solid, never had any issues with the food. In town visiting for a short trip and this place caught our eye! We absolutely loved it. Spencer, our server, was well-mannered and did a great job at taking care of us. So glad we decided to try it. Will definitely go again if we ever come back to town.

We had the best lunch here today. I am visiting the area and had the pleasure of having Salomon as our server. He was the consummate professional. Ashanti was so helpful and polite. I felt very welcome. I watched a very offensive group of people treat them with such rudeness -- and they were amazingly graceful and maintained their professional demeanor through it all. The food was very tasty -- plentiful and reasonably priced.

We love the food. Each time we have dined in which has been both for lunch & dinner, the service and food have been very good. The steak came out perfect, and the shrimp was amazing. Our waiter was great, and we loved his personality.

Stopped in here a few times, while in town for work. The steak and shrimp combo was the best Ive had anywhere. The meatloaf was really good as well. The cheese steak and pasta gumbo are also great choices. I would highly recommend this place. Dont forget about the sweet potato casserole.

This a normal stop for me & my Mom. We can share the wings & queso. I get a side salad & done. The food is good. Havent had anything that has been bad. Just watch out the salads are huge! & Always friendly service.

You just lost 2 customers because of their manager. Got charged for a drink I didnt want and manager wouldnt take it off the bill. Seems stupid to lose customers over a waiters mistake. Managers can make or break a business and theyve lost my business. I was there on Feb. 28th at 1pm.
