Worse experience ever! I have been coming here for years and will never come back. Every backdrop we asked for was not available. I traveled 2 hours to get my granddaughter for her 2 year old pictures. Photographer did not engage what so ever to make her comfortable. No play, no toys, no silly faces, NOTHING. He got three good pictures due to my daughter and I and then said we need to reschedule since he didnt get enough and then said he couldnt sell just the three pictures due to corp. rules. I took my granddaughter down to the park and got AMAZING pictures.

Two and a half hours, wait past the scheduled time. Photographer wouldnt let us take the pics we wouldnt. Floor smelled like dogs

Very surprised by the service we had at JC Penney in Tyler. I usually do family photos but had waited a long time for my 7 month old. Dakota was Professional Fast & definitely made sure I was pleased with the amount of pictures taken and that I was happy with the outcome of the pics. I actually love the way they turned out and the rates were much lower than I thought, $50 off all packages for the slower season! I love the new hexagon pattern that I received and would recommend it for a collage. Thanks for a good session!

Very surprised by this random photo shoot we took at JC Penney in Tyler. I usually do family photos by location only but with the weather being so unpredictable I went out on a limb and tried them.... Professional Fast & definitely made sure I was pleased with the amount of pictures taken and that I was happy with the outcome of the pics. The upload for me to view my pics was quick and I had an email with my digital pictures attached by the time I got home! I actually love the way they turned out and the shoot wasnt expensive! We now have Family & Holiday pictures for Christmas cards. Thanks for a good session!

The photographer was not professional. My daughter is tall and her portraits show above the background as well as not centered correctly. I spent alot of money just to edit and crop the pictures myself

Both women working were very polite and both made sure I was getting the best deal for my sons school photo. We have used them before for our family photo.

Mai was our photographer and I cant say enough good things about her. She was prepared and friendly. She was EXTREMELY comforting and patient while photographing my almost 3 year old son. I highly recommend Mai as a toddler photographer, as she has a natural ability to connect with children WHILE making them feel comfortable AND taking STUNNING PHOTOS OF THEM. (NOT AN EASY THING TO DO!) I went in hoping to get ONE good picture of a happy boy and I left with SEVERAL. I am so appreciative of Mais effort and skill and recommend her 10000000%! Thank you Mai !

The young lady photographer for our portrait setting was amazing TRULY one of the most graceful, patient, pleasant professional and kind heart customer service people I have ever had the privilege and pleasure of working with. My children pictures were BEAUTIFUL because of her ability to make children feel welcome and comfortable. Our session went great without any problems. I would definitely recommend this JCPenney portrait studio and the young lady photographer to all.. P.s. I apologize for not remembering her name..

If I could give 0 stars I would. Literally the worse photography experience I have ever had. My family and I were rushed for our pictures. The woman at the computer had no idea what she was doing. We stood there editing photos (that we didn t want but were told we had to have) for over an hour. We paid for HD digital copies THAT WERE IN NO WAY HD QUALITY. Called JCP and they told us it was a Shutterfly issue. Shutterfly then told us it was a JCP issue. JCP then resent the HD images BUT ONLY SENT HALF OF THEM. I am so disappointed in the customer service we received and the trash pictures I now have. What a waste of time and money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE.

Made appointment for 2 yr old granddaughter spring pictures. No one in the photography studio but us. Took them a while to set up. Photographer kept telling a 2 year old you have to stay on the red dot or I can t take your picture. Literally after 10 minutes of coaxing she snapped 1 picture. There were several occasions she could have gotten pictures but didn t have camera ready and would wait for child to be totally still and posed. Dumbest idea in the world for a small child. I ll NEVER go back. Horrible experience

2nd time coming to jcpenny for portraits the first time I wasn t happy with my 6 week old baby pictures. But I decided to try it again and with all 5 of the kids! And I m glad I did!! Brandy was fantastic! She didn t rush to take the pics,she was super patient (even tho I was so impatient with my own kids) she was fantastic! I ll come more and will ALWAYS ask For her! Couldn t be more happier! Thanks Brandy!!

Because it s limited or no photography studios in Longview & I m new to the area, I wanted to have generational pictures made for my husband, his son & his dad. I ve always known JcPenny to be professional and provide good quality, I used them for my 30th birthday a few years ago, so I was happy they had one...this particular location does need more staff help on the weekend, so be patient!! Chrissy did A great job and I am VERY pleased & happy with my purchase!! I initially was very unsure about this photo studio and was unsure if I d come back but I will and I definitely have more empathy b/c I know what it s like to work short but give your best. Thanks Chrissy, not just for the great pics but for the reminder of empathy

I wish you could rate this 0 stars. We made an appointment for 3:15. We arrived 2:45. We waited in a crowd of people for 30 minutes before we even saw an employee. While waiting we asked a few people if we needed to check in somewhere and we were informed that they had been waiting for over an hour for their 2:00 appointment. Then when the employee did come to the desk she was incredibly rude. My mom asked her how many people were in front of us and if she could estimate a wait and she pointedly ignored us and acted like we werent there. She ignored everyone else who went up to the desk as well before disappearing again. We of course left with a couple of other fed up people who couldnt figure out what was going on. It was so unprofessional!

Took the family in for pictures today. with a family of six it is sometimes difficult to get good pictures for everyone. The staff did a great job getting everyone to smile and have fun while getting some great photos. Will recommend them to everyone.
