DELICIOUS FOOD, BAD CHIPS AND PLEASE PLAY FAMILY FRIENDLY SONGS! Food prepared there is is 10/10 with the exception of the chips, they taste like cardboard, but Im sure those are bought, so hopefully they change supplier. Service is courteous and timely. We have come a couple time with my family and the lyrics of the music they play is rather graphic and a bit offensive for a family oriented business.

Best Mexican Food place in Tyler, TX. Not only are the employees the nicest people but the food is immaculate. I highly recommend the trompo tacos as they re super flavorful and juicy. The agua fresca drinks are amazing. I recommend the melon, horchata, or pepino y limón. Please stop by and support this local business. You won t regret it!

This Review is for Flor de taxco #2. I know its fairly new. So hopefully this is taken as constructive criticism. Flor de Taxco #2 its bigger, more parking I think. The place is very dim. Needs better lighting. The restrooms need work. One was clogged (gross) and the other wouldnt flush. (Weird). You are greeted with friendliness , so service was good. I ordered 2 gorditas one asada one birria. They were so tiny, smaller than a street taco tortilla. And $5 each! They were tasty but hardly any meat or beans. Im used to the ones from the original place. The husband ordered 6 tacos, 2 asada 2 birria and 2 barbacoa.those were very well served and delicious. We ended up paying about $45 for this dinner. Would I do it again? I doubt it.

Absolutely delicious Mexican food! This shop first appears unassuming because it s connected to a gas station and there AC is only half on lol, but this place serves up some delicious tacos. Definitely a top 5 Mexican spot in Tyler!

This little dive is phenomenal! I had the Taxco Quesadillas which were so surprisingly good, I know I m hooked already. My husband had 4 tacos: 2 pastor and 2 birria. His fav were the Birria. Sooooo much food and each bite was perfectly tasty. Oh and get the cucumber lemonade!!! Totally worth the trip there!!!

The food was ok and the service was fair but the parking at this place is a joke. If they are going to be in business they need a different location. There are too many other businesses that share this parking lot, and the people for here often park in the drive through blocking the cars that visit the donut shop on the other end. I have had to go inside 4 times now and ask people to move so I can get out. That has to hurt the donut shops business and isnt fair to them. Parking: Parking is horrible and blocks other businesses in area.

This restaurant is unsanitized. I saw employees making salsa containers out in the open. They were dipping the containers in a bucket of salsa with no gloves on then putting lids on the containers that where laying on the table.

I came in and placed an order. I was sitting waiting on my order and saw chips and salsa come to a table. I asked if I could get some and he said sure, its free. I then waited for him to bring me some and he never did so I asked again could I have some chips and salsa. He brought out my food and said I would have to pay $4.50 for it. I said but you just stated that it was free and didnt charge the others. I guess because Im not Hispanic, I have to pay for chips and salsa. By the way, I asked for the manager. He stated he was. I then asked for the owner and he said that he was! I will never come back. It was the first and will be the last!

Today was the first time I have had a bad experience here. To start.. I and whoever took my order could not understand each other, so I wasn t able to get some items. Next.. the food I did receive was incorrect and burnt/overcooked. Last.. I was ecstatic for my drink, yet they were watered down. Not at all what they would normally be.. they are usually tart and overly warm.

The food was good and reasonable price but now I dunno if new management or not..the chicken enchiladas is sour and the fajitas usually have chop tomatoes and lettuce come with now they just give rice and beans plus they usually served water just like others restaurants now they serve bottle water if you want just to drink water and of course you will be charge which is so disappointed things has changed I guess

Hi friend, I am always greeted with the BEST vibes here. And I have literally traveled the US and cant nooooooobody find the consume and birria tacos like my peeps here. I wish my Northern peeps could taste this delicious Texas cooking. (The green sauce though ) I literally drive 45 mins to an hour just to get to tyler and come here specifically. The Dallas one is great too but the tyler location is Mi Familia. 10 out of 10 I HIGHLY recommend .

I only give 4 stars because the service is hit or miss (which is fine with me I prefer no one waiting on me, Id rather get my own stuff and save a tip). The food has always been good. Not every option for the tacos is my favorite but there are some really good choices. They give you a grilled jalapeno which is nice. Chips are decent, nothing exciting. The sauces are pretty good, one being my favorite and the other being warm which is a nice touch. some days you are looking at a huge wait, some days are easier to get in and out. I think I would just get it to go if I could get some chips and salsa with it. I originally went there for the churros and the churro was really good; fresh and hot.

This review is coming from a Southern California guy. This food is the closest thing to what i am used to eating that I have had in Tyler. I have found other spots outside Tyler but they are few and far between. The food is really good and the service was great. I like the small little spots but its not for everyone so it got a 4 star on atmosphere. Would like it if they had one closer to me because i would eat here 3 or 5 times a week. The Al Pastor and Chile Releno were delicious, basically everything i have had from here has been super good.

I ordered the three taco plate, comes with rices and beans. The cilantro and onion are on the side along with grilled onion. So you can build your taco to your liking. I had three different choices of meat; trompo, carnitas, and I believe carne asada. All good choices but the best is the trompo for me. The rice is amazing (reminds me of abuelitas rice) and beans were ok. The dine in space is small, not great for large groups of 6 or more. Id say take out is the best way! Definitely a great place to get some tacos, and if you love aguas frescas, this is the place to go!! Parking: Very limited parking due to it being shared by 3 other businesses.

Out of all of Tyler this is my favorite Mexican spot. Anytime anyone ask for Mexican options i always have to put Flor de Taxco for my #1 recommendation. Its a 10 out of 10 on the food each and every time. The staff is always very friendly and genuine. The only draw back is that there is limited space on the seating but even that wont stop me from coming back.

The great things about this restaurant are the fast service and the overall quality of the food. Extra compliments for the salsa, as it s some of the better salsa I ve had in this city. It has great kick with its spice, but it s well-seasoned. Super addictive! The enchiladas were solid, and the trompo tacos are fantastic. The birria noodles were okay, though this is most likely to my own tastes. The birria in the noodles needed more seasoning to stand out in the dish. The biggest downside for my experience was no A/C in the restaurant. I appreciated they had a fan blowing inside, but Texas humidity is too strong. This doesn t affect my score, as I m sure they ll fix this; however, I felt it was important to note that it may have affected my experience. Overall, excellent tacos, addictive salsa, fast service, decent enchiladas, and okay birria noodles. Hopefully the A/C is fixed soon!

The food was to die for, and the price was fantastic compared to how much food they gave you. Each taco was stuffed! Parking: They are located within a outlet, they have about 10-15 spots available. Its better to park at the gas station. Kid-friendliness: There is different candies to try!

I was staying in Tyler for 2 days and tried take out from Taqueria Flor. The dinner was very good and my only complaint was the price. I mentioned that I had never been in before and asked the hostess for recommendations. I ended up with the taco plate, beans & rice, chips & salsa, and a drink. With tax and a 10% take out tip, my total was $29.98.

Hey Friend!!! This place may seen little but it packs a big punch! It has, hands down, one of the best burgers I have ever had! The staff are always so cheerful and friendly and the food is fresh and delicious. I recommend it for sure!

We just heard of this restaurant and decided to try it, and picked the 10 tacos de trompo. They were delicious! I definitely recommend calling ahead for these, but we did not mind waiting for the order. The staff was also super helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back very soon!
