I have had a few lawyers in my life and I can say Matt is one of the best lawyers I have ever had. He really saved my family in a really hard time in our lives. He made sure to always respond quickly, even answering emails/calls on weekends when needed. He knew I was struggling financially and helped me to find the best path to take that would save the most money, and had my case dropped to where I did not have to spend even more money going to court. I cant say enough good things about him. He gets the job done!

I was lucky enough to stumble upon Mr. Bingham s practice early on in my situation while searching for a civil attorney, before I even knew I would need a criminal attorney. Matt believed me and in me from day one, prior to even retaining him. He was exceptionally generous to me, and tried to help me make the right connections. After months of harrassment, I was maliciously prosecuted by people who sought to influence the outcome of assault charges I had filed against a man who groped me. When that happened, Matt did not hesitate to take my case despite the numerous powerful people involved. Finding an attorney is difficult, but finding one finding who is professional, intelligent, driven, and consistent is no easy easy task. Matt and Arin were fierce advocates for me, and they did not buckle or cave regardless of who was involved or what position of power they were in. This is really important to me; writing this review. I mean everything I say here. What I was accused of was, in my opinion, the worst possible crime on earth. The things I was charged with carried a possibility of 2 life sentences. Those were the circumstances under which I met Matt and Arin for the first time and I swear to you my innocence was never in question to either of them and I felt extremely comfortable going into that office and explaining something I was absolutely terrified of anyone else even knowing; much less talking about. My situation was beyond stigmatizing, but Matt s team did such an amazing job of explaining to me all the different ways we could get to the truth and get a just outcome in my case and that alone was priceless. My situation was particularly taxing because the District Attorney in my case was particularly unresponsive. For that reason, things would drag on for 15 days short of 2 years. During that time, for 2 years straight, Matt and Arin went above and beyond anything I ever expected. They poured every resource available in my case into eliminating one hurdle after another. Right off the bat Matt was able to get a judge to reverse their decision to place me on house arrest and order me to wear an ankle monitor at all times. Next, after speaking with that same judge, I was allowed to literally move out of state 1,200 miles away so that I could continue working in my field and without that by itself, being able to work, I have no idea where I d be right now. For me to be allowed to do that is unheard of, but because of what Matt was able to pull off I was able to live as normal of a life as possible the last 2 years while awaiting a decision from the DA to either dismiss or go to trial. The time Matt and Arin dedicated to me and my case was simply out of this world. There were times Matt and I were in the phone at 9, 10, or 11 o clock while you d expect any other lawyer in the world to leave their work phone on the desk when they go home at 5. Matt and Arin both made time to just talk and listen to me vent on a personal level about how that case was effecting my life and the empathy and concern and compassion they showed me meant more than I can write in a simple review, but I can at least say that these people deeply care about you and fighting on your behalf actually matters to them. That s why they were in constant communication with me over the years through email, through text, in person and over the phone. They never missed a call, no email or text ever went unanswered, and every question I had was usually answered before I could even ask because they know exactly what they re doing. Being Matt s client put me in touch with several people who didn t work for Matt and were not affiliated with the law firm in any way, and every single time, every person I ever spoke to, they all told me the same things. They said the best decision I ever made in my life was hiring Matt Bingham because he s the best there is. People who just know Matt by reputation will all tell you he s the best lawyer in the entire state and the fact that I m here and able to write this review is proof that his work speaks for itself. Matt has a name and his name carries so much weight and respect that ultimately the people who would be prosecuting me and seeking a life sentence decided they would rather dismiss my case entirely without ever going to pre trial rather than walk into a court room in front of a judge and jury and go to war with Matt over the future of my life. Think of the worst possible crime you can be charged with, then imagine a lawyer so good the prosecution would rather drop all charges than take you to trial. That s what I got when I was fortunate enough to hire Matt as an attorney. Listen, I could talk for weeks about what Matt and Arin went though with me, but the most important thing is this: if you re charged with a crime they already have you in their sights, you re already one wrong move away from losing everything. This review is long over due but it was very important to come and share a little bit of our experience with the Law Office of Mr. Bingham. I cannot express enough in words what Mr. Matt and Arin mean to our family. At a time when my family had no idea how to proceed and decipher the legality of my brothers situation, Mr. Matt and Arin went above and beyond to answer our questions and guide us on what was to occur. Mr. Matt made himself available to my mother who naturally was worried about her sons first ever offense and we always felt that our case was important to them just as it was to us. That was so important to us. Not only were they supportive, but Mr. Matt and Arin are very knowledgeable and experienced to work our case. It really does make a difference and something that should be evaluated when choosing representation. We worked with Mr. Matt for I believe 6 month until my brothers court hearing and thanks to their hard work and our prayers, we had a favorable decision. On a minutes notice I called Mr Bingham s office with a issue that his office manager Arin (she s amazing and knowledgeable) said was not his expertise but he would be glad to hear me out and see. Mr Bingham and Arin took time out of their day (several hrs) looked over the situation read the paper work, listen to what I had to say, made numerous calls/emails and fax and cleared up the problem ( pretty good for something that was not his expertise huh)after 3 other attorneys told me the was nothing they could do I won t mention their names but I should. Mr Bingham and Arin went above and beyond to help me and we had never meet. Mr Bingham is primarily a criminal attorney (just happens to be the best smith county, I ve seen him work)but after I seen him work that day he can do anything and should think of branching out.
