This is at least a 4 star dining experience on a 3 star budget. The service from the staff is exceptional. I never had to ask for anything as my needs were always met. The three course meal is particularly in this economy an extraordinary value. You are effectively getting the desert course for free. With the three course meal 2 can dine for just under $100 making this an excellent date spot. I have spent nearly double at some restaurants and not had as good of an overall dining experience. The coffee is very good as well.

Excellent restaurant, such a unique menu. We selected the price fix three course option. The marshmallow soup was very unique and delicious. Was worried about goat cheese as that can be string, but it was very light and fluffy like a marshmallow, mild flavor. Wife had the cauliflower soufflé while I had ham and cheese. Both were excellent. Desert, a key lime soufflé was out of this world delicious. Restaurant is nicely decorated and our waiter, Kyle, was fantastic. Definitely recommend and definitely will return!

The food was overly rich for my taste but I gave it four stars because I probably eat lower fat than the average person and the flavors were good. The service was the big issue. For the appetizer portion of our meal, my daughter and I ordered both the Rise salad and marshmallow soup to split. My daughter has a walnut allergy so we verified with our waitress that the Rise salad had only pecans and no walnuts. The second the fork touched my daughter s mouth, she felt constriction in her throat. She didn t swallow much of the salad and thought she had developed a new allergy to pecans. A few minutes later the waitress came back and said she was wrong and that the salad did have walnuts. Luckily, my daughter had quickly recognized the allergic reaction so avoided consuming a full bite that would have caused anaphylaxis but the small portion that she consumed will most likely break her mouth out in ulcers tomorrow. The waitress apologized but what surprised me is that a manager didn t follow up. We proceeded with the rest of our meal and got charged the full price of our food. The mistake was a big one but mistakes happen. What upset me the most was the lack of apology from the management.

Went to Rise by myself last week for the first time for lunch. Enjoyed the wonderful ambiance, French music, and delicious food (nicoise salad with seared ahi tuna, and raspberry soufflé). The complimentary hot, fresh French bread with butter is the best! Came back this week for lunch with my husband. He is a vegetarian and there are enough options to choose from. We ordered the prix fixed meal (French onion soup, truffle mushroom soufflé, and crème brûlée). The service is great, the restaurant beautiful, and food is very fresh and delicious. We will be coming back again with our family and friends.

I already LOVED this restaurant, but their Julia Child s Birthday Celebration was over the top!!! The prix fixe menu options were absolutely delicious and expertly prepared. I had the Jambon and Grueyere.souffle, but ended up envious of my friend s Truffled Mushroom choice.. The menu offered gazpacho as a first course selection. It is my new favorite tecipe of all the gazpachos I have eaten across Houston. Douglass made my group s afternoon.. He was kind, fun, personable and so knowledgeable. His recommendation of the Grande Marnier dessert souffle was the perfect ending to my group s wonderful afternoon!

If you care more about ambience than the actual food, this is the place for you. The wine options were solid and the only redeeming aspects of the meal. The food was bland and overall not as good as we d imagined it would be. The marshmallow soup was excellent but everything else felt short, especially for the price. There are better restaurants in the area if you actually want to enjoy the food. Otherwise, added a star for wine & ambience, the servers were also very nice. Just the food, not so good. The soufflé s all had a weird texture. The main soufflé we had (mushroom & truffle) tasted like a combination of wet bread with a hint of mushroom chopped it. Couldn t even taste the truffle. The dessert was just ok, again very weird textures!

Always a great meal! Thanks in no small part to Tracy, who is now becoming our regular waitperson, the ambiance and the service are outstanding. Tracy is knowledgeable about the menu, the food parings, and now our particular palate, and is patient and attentive to our meal planning and time schedules. We never feel rushed nor do we feel we have to wait for service. The quality of the food is consistently great!! Unfortunately for us we love and keep reordering our favorites, i.e the marshmallow soup ( not a sugar but rather a feta cheese marshmallow), crab soufflé for me, and the ahi tuna salad for my wife. The dessert soufflés are all outstanding but the chocolate and the grand marnier are our two favorites. Either lunch or dinner will not disappoint.

For dessert we got the praline pecan souffle and the creme brulee. The praline souffle was so good. It wasnt too sweet. Just a quick history - Rise had a location in Galleria, but after Covid they closed it down, which was very disappointing, since Rise was one of our choices for date nights. After finding out that they had a location in the woodlands I was so thrilled! So heres my review! Food: The food was well presented. Everything we ordered was pleasantly delightful. The portions are perfect! You will definitely be full after you are done eating. Service: if I could rate the service I would give it a ten! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, you receive an exceptional customer service. The Manager is professional and makes you feel welcomed. He actually went above and beyond and gifted us something. Environment: The ambiance for Rise has always given me a mellow, warm, romantic vibe. This was my first time eating soufflés that weren t desserts. We booked a reservation through Yelp. There was ample amount of parking. The restaurant is very beautiful after you enter. The rooms look different from one another. We actually came here one day before my birthday, I forgot to put that down for the occasion. I think they give you a free soufflé. The service was wonderful, they were very attentive and I never felt rushed at all. Just a FYI, just because they give you the bill, it doesn t mean that they want you to get out immediately. We saw people that were there for hours after they paid, at least 2-2.5 hrs. Personally, that s way too long for me. I did the set menu for $39. I ordered marshmallow soup, jambon & gruyere soufflé, praline pecan soufflé, and $4 cheese & accoutrement. I also sampled some of my brother s and sister in law s French onion soup, truffle mushroom soufflé, and chocolate soufflé. The bread on the guillotine board was very good. It was soft and just a little chewy. -marshmallow soup 5/5 - carrot and tomato bisque was very smooth. Goat cheese was soft and flavorful. Not strong for those that are skeptical. -French onion soup 5/5 - i love that it s not overly salty, very enjoyable. -cheese & accoutrement - this was good but i would not get again. Not worth the extra $4. -jambon & gruyere soufflé 5/5 - this is ham and cheese soufflé. Fluffy texture when you dig in and very filling. Ham and cheese were nicely cooked. -truffle mushroom soufflé 5/5 - you can immediately smell the truffles before you have that first bite. After eating it, the truffle flavor is not overpowering. It has just the right amount. -praline pecan soufflé 5/5 - very tasty. You can taste the pecans, I wouldn t mind ordering this one again. -chocolate soufflé 5/5 - chocolate was not too sweet, good texture.

Nice environment, music is awesome. Souffles are great! Red wine flight was very nice to try some different varieties. Service was trying to be very formal and sofisticted, yet there is a fine line with attentiveness and making everyone feel rushed. A relaxed dining experience is always better than anxious and overly intrusive. Tip - Never bring the check the same time they bring the desert... ugh. All in all, I would still go back, but the service scares me... not a place to bring clients. Humm....

Came here to celebrate both of our birthdays about a month after their grand opening. Lovely decor. The souffles were delicious. The escargot souffles serving size was insufficient and surprisingly small. Thus, we had to order extra food. I think a picture on the menu would have been helpful. It was delicious none-the-less! The salmon souffle was very good even though it might sound unappealing to have seafood in souffle. The artichoke appetizer that was ordered as an after-thought was great and an amusing hands-on experience. As for desert, the Grand Marnier souffle was a little strong for me. However, my partner enjoyed it. On the other hand, I really liked the tanginess of the apricot souffle. Lovely experience.

We had the duck soufflé for our entree, a cheese plate for the appetizer, and a scrumptious Creme Brule for dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant if your looking for a relaxing environment or new cuisine to try.

This is NOT fast food or a typical sitdown and eat restaurant. Typical souffle takes at least 20 minutes in the oven, even with all the ingredients mise en place. So allow yourself a good amount of time from sitting down to eating your food. Of course, the souffles here are well with the wait. Wonderful staff and ambience. A great addition to the woodlands food scene. The soup and souffles were perfectly made. The service staff were patient and explained how souffles are cooked. Excellent wine collection and do not miss the sweet souffles. Even the EGM has an apt name - Boulanger. The Baker. How cool!!!

Despite having extremely limited options for myself (I m gluten free with an egg allergy that only allows me to eat small amounts of egg) I still rate rise 5 stars. The staff did so wonderfully with my 2 little ones and give off a warm and welcoming energy. I wouldn t want to bring them for dinner but earlier in the day was perfectly fine. Overall lux but wonderful blend of very charming and relaxing. Kids are not forgotten and the sweet ceramic frogs and featured children s book remind you of that:) My kids did adore their soufflé. I bought the dressing. For my husband and I to be able to dine more often, we would need a more in the GF options and DF options for him. Obviously, the stars are the soufflés, however some more composed salad offerings with protein options as well as say, some GF pancakes or oat dishes or something would be awesome for the GF member of a group coming in;)!

I just had THE BEST Sunday afternoon date with my husband. The ambiance was quiet with French music playing. Lilly was our server and she was so kind and attentive. Shelby, the manager, checked on us a couple of times. She clearly wanted to confirm that we were enjoying our experience. I saw her do this at every table. I had duck a l orange and hubby had a frito chili soufflé. #chefskiss. The dessert soufflés that we tried were pumpkin a d bananas foster.(seasonal, I think). On top of food that really is Michelin quality, I felt like a celebrity. They really treat diners like gold.

My girlfriends and I had lunch at Rise today. On the positive side, I really liked the marshmallow soup. The cauliflower/brie soufflé and the raspberry soufflé were just ok - I wouldn t order them again. On the negative side, I did not enjoy being served a black curly PUBIC HAIR on my plate. I immediately told the server and she took the plate back and gave me another one. When it was time for a check I asked if there will be a discount for the incident . She took off the coffee from my check. Overall, I wasn t under the impression that the server took the incident seriously. The server was nice otherwise. However it does puzzle me how a pubic hair made it to the plate and how she didn t see it when she served the plate to me. It was immediately obvious that it was there.

Had an amazing dinner this evening at Rise. I heard about it from a friend who regulared the Ft. Worth store. Try their Prix Fix menu and you wont regret it! I started with their Jamon souffle which was to die for along with the Marshmello soup! Dont let it foul you, its actually a tomato bisque elevated by the goat cheese marshmello & carrot. The raspberry souffle is where I thought they really shined with how sweet, fluffy, and decadent it was. Michelle, my bartender, also killed it with her service and did an awesome job describing the menu and took great care of me. I am really excited to visit Rise whenever I find myself in Creekside.

Trying out a new spot with mom for lunch. We shared and tried all of the following: Marshmellow Soup - favors were awesome, great fun presentation of a savory marshmallow (mini goat cheese Soufflé) Pecan Apple Goat Cheese Salad - we subbed goat cheese for the blue and loved it. Dressing was light and not too acidic. Creamed Spinach Soufflé - big spinach flavor with a creamy/cheesey base. Very good, especially with some of the crab soufflé in the same bite. Crab & Parmesan Soufflé - Crabby throughout, light spice but not spicy, toasty Parmesan finish. Really good but would love a sauce, Fresh herbs, and maybe some lump meat on top. But I m just fancy. Apricot Souffle with Apricot Crème Anglaise - awesomely not sweet dessert. Great intense apricot flavors and acidity. Our server was also super informative, friendly, and all around great at her job. I wish I could remember her name but it escapes me. The Chardonnay Grape & Apricot Iced Tea was a delightful surprise too. Do yourself a favor and get your RISE on! E will be back for sure.

The restaurant itself has a romantic feel to it, so great for date night, but also a great place to take friends and family, especially if they havent had soufflés before. The marshmallow soup is enough to go back for, but so is there bread and raspberry soufflé. what makes this location nice is that you can easily do dinner and a movie. definitely worth the drive from central Houston. As soon as the entree came we were pressured to decide what what desert well want. I get that soufflé take time but.. we were celebrating and were not in a hurry. We wanted to have a conversation without constant interruptions. Our desert came a couple of minutes after the entree. Too soon. Our check came a couple of minutes into desert. Why?? What if we wanted to order more or get a couple of wine glasses afterwards. I dont appreciate being rushed. The food was great. We enjoyed the onion souffle, smoked salmon souffle, truffle mushroom souffle. The bread was fresh and delicious. The red wine flight was a good choice. For the appetizer, I ordered the marshmallow soup, which was fine (albeit a little bland). But the best part of the meal was the Bread pudding soufflé, and I was very impressed. Not sure what the hype is about. Maybe because it is different - Soufflés First off - you have to order the desert at the same time as you order your main dish. Which I really think is weird! Both also not that good, that I would go back.

The Rise focuses on soufflés, although it has some other items. They offer complementary bread. The soufflés mostly look the same but have distinct flavors. The kiddo had the Jambon & Gruyere, which he liked, but it was too big for him - I wish they had a half-size for the kids. We had the Smoked Salmon and Southwest Chicken. They were both good. For dessert, we asked for the Praline Pecan, and they accidentally made the Bread Pudding, so they gave us both. Both desserts were good, but the rum sauce from the Bread Pudding, OMG, was amazing! Obviously, the kid had only the whipping cream, which came with the pecan dessert, but we (adults) even put the rum sauce on that one. I recommend going, but if you have kiddos, bring things for them since they dont coloring or little kits like some restaurants do. It does take a bit from order to the table, and small kids are not good at waiting, so be prepared. Kid-friendliness: The Jambon & Gruyere is a good option for kids. They also have baby/tot seats.

Cocktails well made. 3. Appearance. Love it. Such pretty pretty appointments. Beautiful cane chairs. Linens very pretty- can be purchased. 4. Restroom. Top notch cleanliness. 5. Cheese plate and bread. Deserve their own mention. Just go for it. Good butter. 6. Tea. Properly served in a pot, steeping. Not that silly business with a tea bag in a single cup. Nice presentation and utility. Why wait? Whens the last time you had a souffle? Vegetarian options: Cauliflower and brie soufflé was very good.

Google needs a new scale, as 5 stars is not enough for this business. We tried Rise after reading that it had just opened. Some adjectives that I would use to describe our experience: Unique: We were celebrating an event and when we sat down for our table - a Scrabble tile holder was set up with the word congratulations. When we left, we were handed a small blue card with an inspiring quote about food, wine and friends. Refreshing: I did not leave the restaurant feeling so full and questioning the cost/experience value. The food was delicious, filling, light and well presented. The cost was reasonable and we did not feel gouged. Enthusiastic: We LOVED our waiter Aiden. He truly loved taking care of us. He was attentive but did not hover. He is knowledgable and so friendly. Comfortable: The ambience was relaxed chic. Not overdone, and not over-bearing. And we could actually talk and hear one another. The food, ambience, service, and execution all complimented one another. As a community, we must support Rise. This restaurant is a gem! For certain, we will be back and we will tell all of our friends about it.

I was very excited for Rise to open a location in The Woodlands. We went there yesterday 6/16/23 for a reservation at 6:15pm. We arrived at 6:08pm and entered the restaurant. We were greeted with 3 young ladies. We told them that we had a reservation at 6:15pm. They told us to wait. Within seconds, a lady and her daughter walked in without a reservation. One of the three ladies managed to seat her before us. We were very annoyed with them so we decided to sit by the bar. Two young ladies behind the bar provided us with water and a food plus wine menu. They never came back after handed with menus. After 10 minutes, I decided to call one of them and ordered a bottle of wine. Then, we were served with a warm loaf of bread. My wife cut into the bread and handed me a piece, shockingly it was still FROZEN inside. How embarrassing! About half an hour later, we finished our dinner and waited for the soufflé. We waited and waited for the next 20-30 minutes, no soufflé. One of the lady behind the bar came over and told us that it was going to be another 20 minutes because the kitchen is all jammed up with soufflé orders. Another shockingly surprise, as she turned her back and walked away from us, we were served with our soufflé. We will give the restaurant and management more time to get organized. For now, we will dine some place else.
