I was looking for things I could do by myself and came across this park. When I first saw this, it took my breath away. It s not as big as many other parks there and there really is no designated parking area (I took an Uber to get here), but it is well maintained amongst a bunch of posh houses and I enjoyed my eating my burger while sitting on the park bench and watching as a family of ducks swam across the water. If it wasn t for the strong Summer heat, I would have certainly stayed longer.

Cool pass-by zone connecting the woodlands with the mall, good for walking and biking. No restrooms or any service zone here; theres a bike locker fence right in front of it for any bikers.

Beautiful and quiet place to live, beautiful lake with docks to be enjoyed ONLY by its residents, I went in to take something to an acquaintance who lives there, and I walked towards their beautiful lake and dock to see and admire its beauty and immediately a security arrived and He kicked me out because its not for the general public.

Enjoyed paddling around this park. There is a cool metal bridge that goes from the shore to a small island where duck like to chill among the rocks. The green dragon sculpture is always a nice treat for the kids to see. One drawback is that there is no place to park. You have to reach it by boat or walk/bike from the trail on Woodlands parkway. Honestly, that makes it kind of unique. There isnt really room to have a parking lot sooo. Definitely worth a visit to relax.

My husband and I brought our kids to go fishing. We didn t see the no fishing signs but showed that we could fish on the website. The security guard told us we couldn t fish there. He started recording us. Someone complain about us. Signs were so small didn t notice. It was fun while it lasted. Make the signs bigger and next to the benches. Be more clearly about where you can t fish.

This park consists mostly of a multi-level viewing deck, an awesome dragon water sculpture, a segment of large, paved pathway and benches along the water. That said, it is a marvelous place to walk, jog, bicycle, bring a picnic lunch, photograph, or just enjoy the view and the INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF WATER FOWL at the south end of Lake Woodlands. Small but very satisfying destination.

Very Calm park however be warned there is no parking! there also isnt much shade other than the gazebo on the lake. South shore Park is a very picture prefect park especially good for group pictures! Due to its lack of people most the time and view off the lake its absolutely prefect for taking photos at.

This park is definitely a fun place to visit in The Woodlands, TX. We were skating around the lake, looking for ducks, geese, and other wildlife. A fun way to spend a couple sunday morning hours. If youre looking for a scenic walk youll find that too. I love taking pictures in Southshore Park. Great place for a leisurely walk around the lake.

We used to come here to relax and look at the waterfowl, but now there is no parking nearby. Basically the only thing thing this park is good for is taking a break from riding the bike trail or kayaking. It offers benches in the shade, but not much else. And the gazebo-like structure is pretty dirty. Creekwood is a more kid-friendly option on S Panther Creek.

The Southside could use some help as the Northshore Park gets a revamp. The two level gazebo is pretty filthy and I didnt even eant to sit down. It is lovely in its own riht and would be an ideal setting for morning or evening yoga as the dragon in the water protects you. Charming, but dated.

THERE IS NO PARKING WITHIN REASON SO YOU CANT HAVE ACCESS TO THE PARK! THEY TELL YOU TO PARK OVER IN AN ADJOINING NEIGHBORHOOD WHERE YOU GET THREATS FROM RESIDENTS! IF YOU PARK BY THE GHETTO AREA TOO THE EAST YOU GET THREATS ALSO! THE TOWNSHIP CLOWN IN CHARGE DOESNT CARE AND JUST MAKES UP EXCUSES. A SMALL PARKING AREA FOR 10/15 CARS AT THE PARK IS ALL THAT IS NEEDED! SINCE THE BRIDGE AND ROAD EXPANSION THERE HAS BEEN NO ACCESS AND THE PARK SITS EMPTY! SMART MOVE YOU IDIOTS. NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO USE NORTHSHORE PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
