Had the Chicken Marsala with Fettuccine Alfredo, but it was a bit skimpy on the Alfredo. Food was good but not great and very small portions. Pecan Old Fashion was top notch! Ambiance was ideal. The waiter was a nuisance. Came around way too much and was like is everything fine? Do you need anything else? (He had just asked 5 minutes ago). He was annoying us in the middle of our conversation and we were on a first date. Say, excuse me, but I ll be around if you need me. He wanted to go home and was like here s the check. Still had a nice time but never saw the waiter again after he got the tab. The manager was very nice as was the host. Give it a try!

Found this little gem to celebrate my birthday. We made reservations at 8 and was seated upon arrival. Our waiter Joseph was very prompt with everything he did. He brought us some bread and oil. The bread had a soft texture like cake. I ordered the Lasagna and my wife ordered the gnocchi, both pastas are made in house. The Lasagna was amazing. One of the best Ive ever had at any restaurant. The gnocchi must have been good since the wife didnt share. I received a cannoli for my birthday celebration. It was the smoothest cannoli Ive ever had. Great atmosphere, fantastic staff, and wonderful food.

Update Sep 2024 We keep coming back to our neighborhood Italian restaurant now named Terra Vino from Avanti The food is still delicious The service is fantastic- Cat is vey friendly and competent and bubbly, Michael s wry humor is a delight The wine and entrees are still priced right Tasteful ambience Update after dinner on August 20 Classic cocktails - old fashioned served with a flourish or smoke Delicious Italian food - Eggplant parm, chicken avanti was great. Wine is reasonably priced - if you like white try the Dao. Good ambience with tasteful furniture and decor - good lighting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This newly opened Avanti is a lot closer than the one on Kuykheddahl. Delicious food - the Caccio de pepe pasta was akin to being in Italy The sea bass was cooked just right and short rib entree was fall off the bone tender This new branch of Avanti has tastefully decorated the old Radunare space - it is warm and inviting. Service is efficient, courteous. Good selection of wines and the cocktails are well made. The executive chef Joseph stopped by to check on us and on our meal A commendable dining experience.

The ratings confused me because my food was horrible - despite me getting the most ordered dish on the menu. However, the cocktails were good and service was phenomenal. Unfortunately even Olive Garden and other Italian chains were better than this pile of garbage thats branded as food. Im not a picky eater and both me and my girlfriend hated this place. *We go the Pappardelle & beef short rib ragu. Parking: The parking lot was right in front of the store.

This place is spot on every time I go! Everyone greets you and is so friendly. The bartenders really know their stuff and take pride in their craft and service. The food!! The food is always so amazing and the chef is so nice. From handmade pastas to the best bruschetta boards, Ive never had a dish I didnt like. Not to mention the most delicious desserts, made in house! The manager Jose is always on the floor, smiling, greeting guests. Happy hours and brunches are sure to keep me coming back! 11/10.

Well 2nd time I ordered take out from here and second time they send pasta home with no sauce on it. Yes, plain, bland noodles with nothing on them. Who does that? What kind of Italian restaurant serves spaghetti without a sauce? And no olive oil for the bread again. Needless to say, 2nd time is the charm..won t be ordering from here again. Brunch was just bad. Service so so at best. Sausage tasteless, bacon overcooked, no jelly for toast. Had to ask for salt and pepper, asked for eggs over medium came out hard. Puzzling inability or unwillingness to prepare and serve a standard breakfast.

We experienced great, accommodating service from Alisse! We ordered 3 appetizers, the Calamari which was superb, the Beef Carpaccio which was THE BEST Ive had anywhere and the steamed muscles. We were very happy! The wine list was perfectly sized for us. Good amount of choices without overdoing it, the choices were great as well! Definitely an Italian restaurant I would recommend. From the ambiance, quality of food and service it is definitely worth experiencing!

I must of ordered the wrong thing. Short rib pasta wasn t even actual shredded short rib. Just chunks of hard meat. I didn t like the chickpeas in the ceaser salad. And the risotto balls just barely hit the mark. Pretty pricey to not love it all.

Our server Scott Christopher R was awesome! He gave us wonderful recommendations like the Pappardelle & beef short rib ragu and the blueberry crostada. The food was outstanding as well as the service. The bloody Marys were wonderful. We had the Spaghetti Carbonara, the Pappardelle & beef Short Rib Ragu, and the beef short rib. They were all wonderful choices. We also order the Caesar salad and the gorgonzola wedge salad and those were amazing as well. Highly recommend all of it. The cappuccinos were perfect along with the tiramisu and blueberry crostada which made a wonderful finish to our meal. If I could give our experience more stars I would! We will definitely be returning

This Italian girl is very happy (and so was the 5 other people at the table). The waitress was personable, kind, and engaging. The live music was fantastic. The building was beautiful. We had aracini, meatballs, bruchetta, pappardelle, eggplant, Tuscan shrimp, chicken, tiramisu, cocktails, wine, and limoncello. The ONLY complaint was the tiramisu was a bit sweet.

This is probably one of the best dining experiences I ve ever had. Multiple managers came to our table to check on us and make sure that we were having a pleasant experience. Wow that was impressive in itself but along with the excellent customer service, the fantastic saxophone player walking around, playing, live music for everyone during their meal Followed by amazing food. I highly recommend this restaurant my entire family went there to celebrate my daughters birthday and the experience was definitely top notch. We visited Terra Vino last week with some friends and had an amazing time! The restaurant manager, Jose, was very polite, ensuring we were comfortable and that the food was of the highest quality with exceptional flavors. My food was overly salted but the biggest impression was the lack of professionalism from our waiter- no knowledge of wines, sarcastic, very flippant comments which were not appreciated. We came here for Fathers Day dinner with the family. The atmosphere and ambience were fantastic, and the service was great from the moment we walked in from the hostess to management. Most people enjoyed their meals, although some felt the portion sizes were a bit small -While my chicken parmigiana was tasty, it was disappointingly small - more like a kids meal with just a tiny side of pasta. I barely had three bites before it was gone.. Our server was amazing! Overall, we had a great time! Thank you.

As soon as you walk in you re greeted by a beautiful restaurant. I m surprised the woodlands has a place like this just right off research Forrest! Our server, Kimberly, was very sweet, genuine, and welcoming. We came to try the pizza and we were more than pleased. The dough is definitely some of the best I ve ever had, and the cheese is true quality! The flavors for the truffle pizza were spot on and the margherita was delicious (though I like a lil more basil). No pool of grease whatsoever, just pure quality pizza. Will definitely be back! I had Rigatoni Bolognese and it was fantastic, however, I was shocked at 1 small Cannoli and being charged $13. For 2 I would understand but 1 Cannoli roll for that price is ridiculous. I had an amazing impromptu evening here after a happy hour hop. I stopped by because I heard they have live music on Wednesdays and Im so happy I did! The atmosphere is very sexy & welcoming & the hostesses were beautiful and friendly. While sitting at the bar like the bar princess I am, I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Roberto the handsome refined bartender. He was the added bonus we needed to end our night. He was funny, witty, attentive and makes a great old fashioned. Yummmm. I will for sure be back for their brunch that I heard was amazing! Carolina was amazing! Extremely attentive, gave the BEST recommendations, and checked with the chef to make sure every entree was gluten free. HONEST REVIEW, we Tried it but its not a Repeat (12/23 Anniversary Dinner. Reservations requested a booth/close to private) Walked in and received a warm welcome from the hostess. The ambiance was set with low lighting and candles on the tables, perfect for a subtle romantic evening (especially for us). According to reviews, theres a sax player on Saturdays, but he was not present. I assume due to the holiday. Our booth was by the bar, nice touch with a few rose petals on the table. Manager came by the table to greet us with a Happy Anniversary, he was very pleasant. Downfall, servers kept coming through that area because the kitchen is on that side and conversations at the bar were distracting. I noticed that there were booths on the other side/middle of restaurant, that were definitely private Our server was very attentive and down to earth. She did check on us a few times, but every time she did, we had food in our mouths. The timing was off, but Im grateful for the checkups. The drinks were amazing. Very nice kick and full of flavor. Great start. THE FOOD complimentary bread and oil and herbs. The pizza was okay. Server brought out the parm cheese and grater, always a plus. Basic crust, meat, and cheese ratio. What i can see is cubed pancetta, sliced sausage, and pepperoni. Confused about the capicola not on there But NO Wow factor, literally basic. The Calamari was okay. Fried nicely. I thought the olives would add salt to compliment the feta and the other flavors, but I guess they were marinated in oil. A lite sprinkle of salt helped this dish. Price matched perfectly. The chicken terra vino wouldve been great with a starch, like a potato (any form). Description says Roasted Tomates, but I literally had ONE cherry tomato split in half, on top. The Lemon caper butter sauce was AMAZING, especially on the broccolini (cooked perfectly). The rim of my chicken was really hard and crispy, so I ate mostly the middle. 7/10 for me. The parpadelle and beef short rib ragu, 4/10. Lacked flavor. The tomato sauce was bland. My husband kept spitting out pieces of fat. Literally no meat to be considered as a meat sauce. It was not enjoyable and not worth it. LASTLY, the server came out with a dessert menu and asked us to select one. She did go over the menu. She didnt ask if we would like to order dessert. Based off the verbiage and how quickly she asked, we assumed complimentary dessert. Thats cool. The Tiramisu was YUMMY and is made in house. Literally the best part of the night. Flavors were there and were not super sweet. 10/10. We were charged for the dessert (we noticed the next day on our receipt) in which we both were shocked, but its not a big deal at that point. At least write happy anniversary on the plate Upon check out, We were able to leave a review on this neat little pad the server handed to us. Overall, Id give the whole terra vino experience 6/10. The flavors were Not on Point. Drinks and Dessert were 10/10. Dont allow the ambiance and service, FOOL YOUR TASTE BUDS. Stopped by with my family for dinner, the receptionist lady that sat us had an attitude didn t even greet us and she kept looking at us weirdly. My son made a comment about her giving us a bombastic side eye, criminally offensive side eye (we all laughed that out). We almost walked out without being served but decided to give the restaurant a chance, the waiter Jackson made the experience bearable. Food wasn t all that great just ok, needless to say we are never going back.

If I could give the service a 6+, I would. The food was absolutely amazing! The wait staff was extremely attentive as we had a pair that stayed around us most of the night. The food was absolutely awesome, and I know Ive said it already, but it bears repeating. The price is a bit high, but not as high as some upperclass places around the area, and you should dress well, but they dont require a dress code.

This place just re-branded. It was Avanti. My family of 5 had a great brunch there. Everything from fried chicken n waffles to omelettes to Avocado n toast were amazing. I also ordered the pecan smoked old fashion. Pretty tasty. Def a competitor amongst the woodlands mixologists. Our server and the host were awesome. Both were super friendly and helpful. Wow this place was beautiful! Ok I can t wait to go back! I came in last Saturday with my girlfriends. Service was just amazing. I was blown out of the water. Roberto the bartender was just wow, he was amazing. So sweet so kind. He made everything so special. Juan our waiter was great. Then at the end Israel came along and just made it all so magical with his music. Come on Saturday to see him play. But what a beautiful experience. I can t wait to come back here. I used to live in Italy and was really missing a good Italian pasta. This is the first place that I can something close enough to that home Italian flavor. I m giving 5 stars because I can t give 10. The atmosphere, opening the front door, immediately tells you that you are about to be spoiled.. The staff is hand picked, well trained, and they seem to absolutely love what they do. Our afternoon at Avanti started with a fantastic charcuterie board, wonderful wines , Spanish olives, fresh bread and of course, calamari, followed by the best lasagna I ve tasted in years and a special gnocchi recipe to die for. The quite relaxed pace of the rooms allowed for pleasant conversation, lots of Yummmms, and huge smiles between friends. Celebrated a friends birthday here with a fairly large group and was immediately greeted with so much respect and gratitude. The entire ordering process was smooth, with the waiter offering suggestions and recommendations for a lot of us who went there for the first time. I ended up ordering the branzino fish, which was absolutely delicious, but the bed of olives it was laying on was a NO GO for me. I didn t realize it had olives on the bottom, but I wouldn t take points off for that since I made the mistake of not reading the menu thoroughly. I ordered a side of Brussel sprouts and they were one of the best sprouts I ve ever had in my life. I liked them more than most everything on my plate. Absolutely delicious. Good experience. Will return.

Staff was super nice, our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We went there for Mother s day and out of the 5 meals only the pizza was bad. We also did have reservations and still had to wait a bit as they set up a table for us (it honestly seemed like they weren t prepared for our party) and when seated it seemed to be a four person table with a chair pulled up to the end (no other tables had chairs at the end besides ours). Besides that though it was a great night, problem was really the pizza because it was honestly inedible.

I loved everything about this place but best of all was our extremely kind waiter. He truly cared about our experience and made us feel like we were the most important part of the meal. It was a great atmosphere to hang out with a large group. The seating was perfect to have everyone involved in conversation. It is a rare restaurant in which I can visit with everyone in the group by seeing and hearing them. The food was excellent. Everyone in our group was very pleased with their order. I had lasagna. Delish! But I heard from a few that their Chicken Avanti was fantastic also. Dessert...so so good. I really dont think anything would disappoint you here. This is our 2nd time in the area and we came here during both trips. Its that good. It will be on our list again next time.

11/10 Recommend. I made reservations here for sort of late (an hour before close) and wouldn t have minded one bit if they rushed us through the process. Not only did that NOT happen (everyone was super nice and laid back), but the food and wine were delish. My mother and I dined in your restaurant today. The atmosphere and the surroundings were very peaceful. The selection the menu provides, makes a decision very overwhelming. I wanted almost everything on the menu. Our waitress was very pleasant and took care of my mother and I tremendously. This was a day I needed, time with my mother. The food was incredible. We order the chicken pinion and salad, I can not even try to describe the flavors I experienced. I told my wife about this place, and now this Saturday is her birthday, and Im taking her there.
