I was well received and everything was good about my room. Bathtube and its shower could be better, its just enough to have a decent cleaning. Air conditioner is great. Staff are prompt to help and caring about their guests. Internet is free, but can be upgraded. Another important aspect is that the hotel is close to outlets, stores and food market, in case you dont have a car you can visit these on foot. Nearby activities: Close to outlets, tacos and food market

This place is just an awesome place. It has great rooms. Very well maintained bathroom or restroom. If you call and the staff here are so friendly, especially at the front desk. They are always there for your help. Its just that Ive found it weird that the room service is not every day, but It is every alternate day, and besides that, I dont think there is any issue. Well be my go-to place any time. Whats also nice about this place? Is that every other place is on a walking distance from here. I highly recommend this place for anybody who is looking to reside in Market Street the Woodlands, Houston Rooms: Very well maintained Nearby activities: Mall and other stores are near by. Also a place that hosts some concerts Walkability: Many places of Market Street are at a walkable distance

Very nice location close to Woodland Mall. The hotel is reasonably priced. There is security in the parking lot. There is a $12 a day parking fee. The room I was in only had one closet door, and there was no lotion provided, but there was soap, and the shower amenities soap, shampoo, and conditioners. Overall, everything in the room was well kept. Well maintain in the hotel. Nice carpet in the hallways, very friendly staff.

Great location and plenty within walking distance. Rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff were very friendly. We had a nice suite with a fireplace for three weeks. Breakfast was decent but they don t keep the coffee out all day like most Residence Inns. Laundry is $1.50 to do on your own. They have a nice gym with full equipment and weights and an indoor pool. The ladies at the front desk were nice and helped me out when I got locked out of my room because my front door lock s batteries died. Maintenance was up right away and was able to get me in and have the door lock fixed. Rooms: Clean, spacious rooms with plenty of amenities and well stocked kitchens. Nearby activities: The large Mall, theater, walking path along River, and some pretty spots are not too far a walk and an even shorter drive. Safety: Felt very safe. Well lit parking spots and trees surrounding hotel so it feels secluded. Walkability: Lots to walk too. Target, large Mall, theater, Post Office, Starbucks, several restaurants and strip malls within walking distance.

I missed my 5 bags of chocolates in the room refrigerator while checking out and I called hotel to check if they can give it to my friend so I can collect from my friend. They said they didn t find any chocolates in the refrigerator That was really shocking and disappointing to see they refused to give the chocolates back and lied about the fact. This is really not the service I was expecting from a Marriott chain hotel and they brought my trust down.

Bad experience. I stayed for 4 days, when I arrived they gave me another type of room than the one I had requested, they told me there was none and they would change me in the afternoon, so they did but the air conditioning was very noisy, they changed me again and the same thing... Afterwards they told me that this is the last time they will change me (as if it were my fault, instead of apologizing) they took me to one that didnt have air conditioning, when I got to the room I told them but they told me that it did work. , I went for the hotel technician and it really didnt help. In the end they fixed it (I demanded that they lend me the technician until it was fixed) and the end of the stay was fine. I did not receive an apology for the inconvenience, I was late twice for the appointments we were going to due to moving rooms, there are two emails that I wrote to them and they did not answer them... very bad

Do not normally stay at this location, and it was apparent why. Peeling wallpaper, not a single usb charger in the room, only 2 well worn towels, only creamer for coffee was coffee mate, etc. This hotel cuts corners, and with another much better Residence Inn less than 1/4 mile away on Market St., dont recommend staying here.

Loved everything this is my familys new getaway. Girls at front desk, kitchen staff, Manager, housekeeping were all professional and friendly. We stayed in 2 bedroom suite this past Saturday and loved it! Has fireplace in living room. Full kitchen. Heated pool 24 hours and fitness room as well. Excellent breakfast especially omelet and baked sausage it was so good and waffles and yogurt with granola. My spouse and I spent much deserved alone time talking by the fire pit. My 17 year and 13 year old loved it. They have basketball court! Thanks you all staff for making our experience great. We felt blessed. Rooms: Clean and wonderful Nearby activities: Shopping dining skydiving center Safety: Very Walkability: Easy access Food and drinks: So many . Loved Babins, Gretas kitchen, and In and out burger it was best burger potty seasoned, grill taste #2 combo. Fries ok. Cheap price . Noteworthy details: Love it. Fine stay. Clean, well maintained room. Very friendly, efficient staff. Fresh baked cookies in the evening were a nice touch. Super (albeit VERY busy) location, on north side of Houston. Breakfast was fine, about what is expected for chain hotel breakfast. Egg white option was a really nice surprise! The parking fee, for an unguarded, self park, is nothing less than a gouge, though. Best part? They never even asked if we had a car. Simply charged us. Didnt realize it, until wed already left & checked the bill.

Ill start with I travel alot for work and Marriott is my brand of choice, so dont let this one review leave a bad taste for the brand. When I checked in, the hotel was nice, great location and friendly staff. Everyone was helpful and it was located walking distance to both the Woodlands Mall and Market Street. The room was actually nicer and had more than expected. Thats where the good points ended. First, my room was on the 2nd floor right next to the laundry (223) and throughout the night you would hear the washer/dryer buzzers going off. Then, there was the fact that when I checked-in no one informed me how housekeeping worked. So, after Friday night, I expected house keeping on Saturday as I saw them working their way down the hall. I left to go get lunch and upon my return... no housekeeping. I thought, thats fine Ill just grab an extra towel for showers. Sunday comes around and I put in a request for bedding and and extra towels through the Marriott Bonvoy app and get a call from the front desk, to inform me we only do house keeping Monday to Saturday by request, they should have told you at check-in. Ill send up some fresh bath towels and bedding and give you some points on your Bonvoy account. I thought that was fantastic and was the reason I stay exclusively at Marriott brand hotels. Well I wait around my room and nothing shows up. I go to dinner and come back to the hotel and still nothing. I checked with the front desk and was told we will send up towels and bedding right away, thats unacceptable - well you guessed it, nothing shows up all night or the next day before check-out. Overall it was my first disappointing stay at a Marriott brand hotel in 2yrs of traveling for work. Over promised and under delivered.

As a Bonvoy Elite member I stay at Marriott hotels regularly I must say the rooms here are fantastic. I stayed in a king suite beds were comfy furniture was nice and very clean as were the rest of the grounds. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast left alot to be desired but coffee was hot and fresh. On the downside upon check in I was told they were having a concert at the Pavilion the FOLLOWING night and I would have to pay extra to park on the hotel grounds as people use their parking lot to walk to the event. I totally get that would happen but why would I be charged to park give me the thing to hang on my mirror and tow all others why pass that fee on to your guests especially when no mention of this is made upon making the reservation and you do it on the night BEFORE the even that doesnt make sense to me AND you pass the charge on to the guest. I was very disappointed in their decision on that.

We stayed at this location on June 2nd. We checked in our room, dropped our belongings and headed out to dinner and a concert. When we returned for the night, the entire floor we stayed on smelled like gas. When we got to our room, it smelled even worse than it did in the hallway. We immediately left the room and as we walked down the hallway, we found many other people standing in the hallway. The lady at the counter informed us that the fire department had already been out twice. They determined there was not a gas leak but some sort of issue in the boiler room. We let them know the smell in our room was so bad we would not be able to sleep in that room. The hotel was full so they couldnt put us in another room. The lady at the counter was very frustrated from the night and did not accept that we would not be able to stay there. She would not call a manager. We let her know we would be leaving and did just that. We woke up the next morning to not only a charge for the night we didnt stay but another charge for $270 for smoking in the room. WHAT A JOKE! We dont even smoke and if we did, who in their right mind would go smoke in a room that smelled like gas. Hotel management has not returned our calls. Marriot Corporate opened a ticket. They never called us. I finally called and got to a manager at the corporate level today and she determined the charges are valid. What a complete joke. I would highly recommend booking anywhere else. You take a risk with your hard earned money by staying here. Should something go wrong, they will charge you more. What a shame. Marriot has lost a customer for life.

We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Marriott Hotels in The Woodlands, TX.After having dinner, we parked in a well lit parking space within the hotel parking area (that we were charged for). We woke up, headed to the car to get on the road only to notice, after starting the car, that BOTH of my catalytic converters SAWED OFF and STOLEN off of my sequoia. The hotel charged us for parking but has no cameras (inside or outside) to even aide in identifying the thiefs!!!! They don t even have a security guard for the parking lot they charge their guests to park in! How are your guests able to feel safe parking in your parking lot? After filing a police report, the officer informed me of 3 other catalytic converter thefts last night in the same area and this type of theft has been an ongoing issue in the area. Houston catalytic converters thefts have quadrupled since 2019 & an off duty cop,In Houston, was recently killed during a catalytic converter theft and yet Residence Inn by Marriott doesn t install cameras?!!!! These catalytic converter thieves are very organized and tow what they steal back to their superiors Marriott has got to be getting their cut from this too by deliberately not protecting their guests!! Although hotel rooms and amenities were beautiful, coming out to theft that took place on property that you had to pay to park in is horrible. I m disappointed in how poorly Marriott protects their guests.

Once I think about the $150/night and months here, No I don t think asking for coffee in the morning should be such an impossible feat!!! Where is the coffee here delivered from, Wish?!?! When it arrives once a week it s all DeCaf?!?! I ve never known any place to have such a coffee drought but this is ridiculous! What is happy hour btw? Is that where all the coffee I do not get is???

The beds werent very comfortable though and while they advertise a breakfast buffet, after a year of covid-19, they havent updated their website information. We did not get breakfast after a $200 night stay. The shower was wonderfully hot though, and we were able to do laundry. I would have liked to have been advised upon booking about the no breakfast because of covid though

The experience and their flexibility in the cancelation policy was generous. Even though they had a water pipe break due to the freezing weather, the customer service by Ana Reyes was so professional. In the midst of taking care of that, she was still calm and polite with me. Great place to stay. We had a fully stocked kitchen, eating area, two bedrooms with two bathrooms, and living room area with a pull out couch. They also have a wonderful outside seating area with a fire pit, which was nice and cozy in the November colder weather. The reason why I did take a star off was because both times we have gone... they were out of either the body wash or hair products.

Carrying multiple things and dingbat at the front desk stands there and watches you struggle to get thru the doors. Appreciate the help. The did have handicap buttons, hard to know when there are 40 other signs and postings. So not something i was going to muddle thru all the garbage they had over the doors and windows.

Terrible stay. Dirty, dingy, dark room. Stains on carpets, shower curtain, etc. and mold in the bathroom area. No recognition of Bonvoy elite status (in this case Ambassador Elite). Rude indifferent general manager and employees, who don t really seem to care about guest well-being or rectifying a situation that was raised to them (in my case, I had asked for a change of rooms, but they did not accommodate, despite the disgusting depressing room. Will not return to this property. Added a star for the location and positive attitude, helpfulness and disposition of one of the front desk employees, Kathy.

Super nice rooms with a kitchen and all. Giving them 3 stars purely because the breakfast was terrible. They literally only had Jimmy Dean sandwiches, nasty yogurt and cheap muffins.

Hotel room has two separate rooms. Tv and couch room and separate door to the bedroom. Indoor pool. Location is 5/5. It would be a five star but the bed and pillows have been terrible for me.

I like that they have a full kitchen and all but the beds are really not that comfortable. The towels are also not the best really. Not sure if there was a problem with the AC but when we set it to 70 it just stayed on the whole night. The couch is pretty hard as well.

I was kindly contacted by email the day before our arrival by R.S., the front desk supervisor. She wanted to make sure I had the perfect stay and would be willing to recommend the hotel after we left. When we arrived the room was very unclean. The shower had shoe prints in it, which means the housekeeping stepped with their shoes in the place where we shower with bare feet. Couches were dusty. The room had obviously not been cleaned. There were multiple bugs and spiders that we killed. The place was absolutely unacceptable. I contacted R.S. to complain and she literally never responded. I had to call housekeeping and ask for them to completely re-clean the room. It s been 24 hours since I checked out and I have still never been contacted by anyone. Not one word. Dirty, old hotel, skip this one and stay next door at the Hilton Garden. It s much much nicer, newer, cleaner, and the staff actually respond when something goes wrong.
