I asked numerous times for itemized list of services. I did not receive one, but consistently was told I owed more than what was originally discussed. I found her to be very judgmental of my situation, and not at all professional. She did not fight for me or my child in the case of DV being present in my divorce case.

I paid $3500 for her to do absolutely nothing. I contacted her through text requesting an itemized receipt of what my fee has thus far covered and she said she would email me a final invoice.That was 4 months ago and I have not received anything. No contact from her at all. She had PLENTY of time when I reached out for a consultation, no time now. I understand COVID backed up many things, but this is ridiculous.

I paid my retainer. I requested an itemized statement over two months ago and still have not received it. The only thing I got out of the retainer is a 20 minute ZOOM mediation AND ONE TRIP TO COURT with no resolution. She stated via text that there are no funds left for further action. Not sure why google has her rated at 4 stars.

I highly recommend Samantha Malfatano. I felt she fully represented me to get the best results in my case. In addition to a great presence in court, she was always quick to respond to all of my questions either by email or phone. I always felt she was working hard on my case. Very patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate!

Had I read the reviews prior to hiring Samantha Malfitano I would have saved myself a couple thousand dollars, stress and ultimately an unfinished divorce is all I got. An easy, non- contested divorce which should have taken only the 60 days it needed to sit in the court after filing took months and months then a month with NO communication after several attempts thru email, texts & her leaving messages with her wonderful answering service. Which by the way however much she is paying is not nearly enough for the amount of calls they receive due to her not responding to clients. A complete nightmare that I am still living bc I am not divorced, robbed of my money and it seems as though there isn t anything I can do other than WARN every person to read reviews prior to retaining any lawyer but most importantly do not be fooled by this person. After contacting the Texas State Bar I was told her license is suspended! I hope it stays as so bc no one should ever be treated this way.

I went through a pretty rough divorce and she was there every step of the way. I m still having to go through child support issues and anytime I have ever called she s stepped up and done what was in my best interest. I would recommend her to anyone who is capable of being reasonable and able to to LISTEN to their lawyer. I ve already recommended her multiple times!

I often contact Ms. Malfitano for legal advice on a professional level. As a child therapist, I often need help with helping families understand legal steps. She has also helped me with personal legal battles (e.g. sharing custody and my parents divorce).

Absolutely the most unprofessional, and unethical attorney my family and I have dealt with. After my mother s passing, she was hired to facilitate unfinished documents for my father. She never returned our calls, emails, or texts. After finally running into her at a nail salon, she says she had been waiting on my moms death certificate that was dropped at at her office 1 year ago! My dad had to finally ask for his money back and only a portion was returned. She had to regards to our loss. The most horrible person ever!

wish i could give less than one star... worst lawyer i have ever had, she cant answer her phone EVER... then decided that calling my husband was best and told him she liked talking to him better even thought he wasnt her client... had to proof read all of her work, she got case numbers wrong, and imperative dates to my case as well as spelled all kinds of thing wrong, it was so unprofessional and embarrassing to herself and me. I tried to fire her on many occasions via email and she wouldnt accept being fired. it was so odd. Then when i finally got her formally to withdraw from my case she wouldnt return my emails about my request for an invoice for her service and had never sent me a single invoice during the duration of our contract and promised to many times, then refused to return any of our retainer fee which she couldnt prove she had used, due to her inability to produce an invoice. so basically she sucked, was completely incompetent at her job as a lawyer and at the end of the day STOLE from us. Im honestly embarrassed for her at her own representation of herself and anyone putting there trust in her to help with family cases oR child custody... PLEASE PLEASE dont make that mistake she cares nothing about your kids of family.
