I ve pretty much only eaten pies and cake here. Strawberry pie is my fave. Key Lime is great too. The real winner IMO is chocolate cake. Other than that I had a BLT that was not that impressive.

The food and service was great. Our server Carla was absolutely amazing. The reason for the two star is because they charged a 3% convenience fee. When I called to ask about the fee, they said it was for using a credit or debit card to pay. Nowhere on the menu did it show this. This is a sleazy tactic to did to customers when it should be automatically assumed in the cost of the business and products.

We absolutely love this place, and were so glad when they put one in the Woodlands. We used to go to both of them when we lived in Houston, but really really missed it when we moved 100 miles north. No where else has the selection of so many Pies, cakes and cookies as well as many types of food. My personal favorites are 1) The New York Style plain cheesecake with whipped cream and 2) pumpkin and or sweet potato pie. But let me say...ALL of their Pies are awesome! Ive tried about 95% of them, but I always come back to my faves. I usually eat a piece there and take another piece to go for the next day, and the portions.... Nowhere else Ive ever been gives you a quarter of a pie. These slices are huge! For about $6! They will always be my favorite place, I just wish they would put one in Huntville, Tx!!! (Hint Hint).We dont have many options where I live and definitely dont have the quality and portion size. Keep it up, House of Pies...we will always love you! Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicapped parking right in front and a ramp for my walker/wheelchair, whichever Im needing that day...They are very accommodating to the handicapped and special needs.

The pies are delicious I had a slice of German chocolate. I wanted dinner though. It was a bad idea to order the spaghetti. I guess they dont know what it is or suppose to look like or how to make it. Do yourself a favor and skip the spaghetti. It is definitely not worth 15 bucks.. no no no.

I brought my parents there one day and the place was almost empty and my parents wanted to sit at some specific table but the waitress was really rude and she wanted to sit us at the table by the kitchen. But she was really rude with an attitude, and she didnt care if we left . The manager didnt do anything about it. it is like she was afraid to talk to the waiteress because looks like that waitress was the only one and she was afraid to lose her or something but they were rude to us and they didnt care if they lose business and they didnt even apologize or try do something for us. I will never ever go there and I dont recommend anyone go there ..they dont care about old people and they have no respect to anybody and the manager is very weak..we ended up leaving the place and we will never ever come back for disrespecting me and my parents...shame on this place and their management...it is too trashy to be in the woodlands area.

First time in here and definitely not the last time! Tray took great care of us, made super fantastic recommendations, and provided excellent feedback of preferred dishes from consistently satisfied customers. Tray was accurate and we were so impressed at the portion sizes, flavors, seasonings, temperature, presentation, and quantity of items that came with the entrees. Entree, veggie of the day, soup or salad, side, and dinner roll all included. The price was less than the value of what we received and l am thoroughly pleased. Finally, the restaurant was well lit and clean.

What an interesting experience. Came here at ~2AM on a Sunday. There was one server Melissa who was a character that one cannot describe. It took a while to get service but once we did it was nothing but entertainment. She remembered our order perfectly without writing it down, and always had a jovial comment so we could laugh. The food is standard, you won t be amazed but at 3AM you will be satisfied with the meal.

My wife and I were out and thought about pie and we were nearing dinner time. We immediately thought of IHOP, but we were in the Woodlands area and remembered the House of Pies! Talk about an AH Ha moment, it wasnt a good idea, it was a great idea! As we walked in it was service, service and then service, oh yeah did I mention service! We were seated immediately, by the friendliest, post Covid lady, she asked a simple statement and question I know its hot outside, what can I get you to drink! She stood there and took the drink orders and scurried bac before we knew she had been gone. I ordered the Pancakes with bacon, sausage and an order of hash browns. My wife ordered the Chicken Pot Pie dinner. The food was to the table within 15 minutes and it was plain delicious, comfort food the kind for brunch when times were still simple. We had dessert too, guess what it was, PIE. If you get a chance stop by and see these folks!

Terrible customer service!! I found this place through google and thought I would try it out. It was my first time knowing about this restaurant so I was really looking forward to trying it out. It was just me so I sat at the bar. My waitress came and took my drink order. It was a while before she came to take my food order. I waited as she attentively greeted what seemed to be a regular customer. Still after that customer she did not come to take my order. I noticed that another waitress had to tell her to come and take my order. When my food arrived, it s not until when I was just about done eating, is when she came and asked if everything was good. Then she disappeared again for a while. When I did finish eating, I wanted to order a slice of pie to go but she still was nowhere to be found. I waited a good 20-25 minutes until she finally came by and asked if I wanted another mimosa. I did want another mimosa and I did want dessert but I wasn t looking forward to waiting for her to come around. At that point I was ready to go. There were about 3 customers who had came after me and were already gone before me. Her customer service was awful. I guess I have to be a regular to get her to be more attentive.

I ve been coming here since the place opened. Last few times I ve been here the food has been absolute trash. I ordered a burger and fries this past time and the cheese was ice cold, the bacon was cold the burger was room temperature and the fries were cold as if they were left out. My father ordered meatloaf, meatloaf came out cold, salad was old looking lettuce with dried out cucumber slices the vegetables were over cooked and mushy. My daughter and I decided to check out this location now that we re closer. We usually went to the Kirby location and never had any complaints. Visited on a Sunday evening around 8:30pm. It wasn t busy.I noticed a few people at the counter ordering desserts to go, a group of about 8 people having dinner and one person in the dining area. While our waiter at the Woodlands location was pretty engaging and provided great customer service, I can t say the same for the staff we encountered while we were waiting to be seated..Maybe they weren t having a good day. Nonetheless, we decided on a slice of the bayou goo pie and it did not disappoint!

My friends and I arrived 20 minutes before closing after a concert and they told us they were about to close. We sat there for 15 minutes without anyone waiting on us and we placed an order. I went in to order 2 sugar-free apple pies to go, only to find out they didn t have any at the time that I purchased them. It took over 10 minutes for the manager to figure out how to do a refund, but she only refunded me for one pie. She did a separate refund, which took another 3 to 4 minutes but she didn t realize that I left a tip so I had to wait a few more minutes to get that refund. The receipt shows no refund was given.

The food was cold. We asked to be reseated after being sat along the entrance area. Waiting customers were resting their arms over the wall, completely unsanitary. Instead of asking the overflow of traffic to wait outside or away from dining customers tables we were given attitude because we wanted to move. Our waitress did not inform the food runners that we had moved tables so our food was even given to other customers. Afterwards, no one came to check on us... we had to ask another worker for refills and the ticket. One worker told my husband, Well this is a table for 6!, we observed a table for 4 seated with two occupants and another family of 4 seated at the exact same table that we moved to. Horrible service. Will never return to THIS location again.

The waiter was friendly. The place was overall clean, and even though it was busy, it wasnt too loud. The restrooms were clean but possibly haunted. The chicken pot pie was good, but the rolls were nothing special. They tasted a little like rolls you would get on an airplane. The avocado toast was disappointing. I was expecting an abundance of avocado, possibly even spread on the toast, but all I had underneath the egg was a few thin slices of avocado. I would have said this meal was more of an egg on toast with avocado since the avocado was more of an extra than the main part of the dish. The egg was the only thing that had any flavor, and it was very lightly seasoned. The flavors of both pies were great. The silk pie had a good consistency, too. My only complaint about the Dutch Apple Pie was that the crust was a little too thick and tough. I dont remember exactly what I paid, but I remember thinking it was reasonably priced for meals, drinks, and desserts for two people.

Will never eat here again. Mashed potatoes were cold as if they were taken straight out of the refrigerator. The fried pickles left a horrible aftertaste in our mouths which distorted our taste for hours after we we left HoP. Front counter personal kept asking if we weee ready to order but we were trying to decide what pies we wanted and there were so many. We had just gotten to the count and was not even allowed to look over the options- when she asked us the second time, about 2 minutes later she was quite put off and walked away - when we were ready to place our order we had to flag her down, and I must say, she was very short with us. My order came out wrong, the steak was really bad (very thin, and tasteless, similar to a Dennys steak), and they have no gluten free or even gluten friendly options at all. There was a ladybug in one of our tables salads :( the salad I had didnt taste good and wasnt worth finishing. I see the vision with this place, but it might just have too many food menu options to keep things quality. Wish I could speak to their desserts, but no gluten free/friendly option. We went there to get 2 deserts, 1 was a cream puff the other 1 slice of strawberry pie. We ordered at the register and the girl told us it would be a few mins. After 10 mins and a bunch of other people coming and going we asked if our to go deserts were ready and a different girl said she would check and never came back. So we waited again and a total or 25 mins had gone by and we asked the original girl about the deserts and she had no idea what we ordered or who we were. She finally got the deserts but 1 was wrong and she had to go back and get the correct one. Whoever the management is at this place needs to be more hands on and help out or re train and not only come to the front for problems. Maybe a whole new management system needs to be enforcement and or trained at this location.

Im a regular customer for many years but I havent been in a couple of months and I was extremely disappointed. They now charge for refills for drinks, and their food proportions have gotten smaller as their prices have gotten higher, and I understand that everything is higher, but the salad has shrunk and the drinks are almost 4 and to change an additional amount to get a drink refill is ridiculous. There were 4 of us, and the ticket was over $90, and one person wanted a refill for there Dr.Pepper and they have gotten so greedy that they wanted to charge another $1:50. I normally eat here 6 times a month when I am in town, but they have definitely made sure that I wont return.

The sad fact that you get charged a convenience fee of 3% to pay by credit card is ridiculous and a waitress who gets mad that you question why the extra charge not mentioned on the menu is off-putting to say the least. This place is a one and done for me. Food was average @ best and for 3 kids meals and 1 adult meal to be $52.00 pre tip.

Ordered a Chicken Pot Pie that was mostly crust with very little filling and no sauce . Completely dry. Let waitress know who apologize and brought one cup of plain chicken broth which is not the sauce that you normally find. Ate a few bites and that was it. No reduction in the $15.95 price of the entree and nothing was said to the manager. They were not busy because it was 4:30 PM in the afternoon. Had some place to be so left and order a Chick-a-Fil to go that was next door. See picture because it was no much but crust and totally was not good after pouring a cup of chicken broth into the crust.

Went here for my sisters birthday. i ve been before and it s always been amazing, but today when we walked in, it was so lively inside. there was lots of tables, the servers were nice welcoming us in, we got seated fast too. our server, Maddie, she was amazing. super sweet always making sure everything was GREAT the food was so good and everything was right. the bussers were also fast with cleaning tables for more people to come in, and they were also friendly. great place for sunday brunch!!!

I had the blt with cheese and an egg. It was amazing! It had a ton of bacon on it. I have been on several occasions but most of the time it was for their pie. The only ones I havent really cared for are the German chocolate pie and cake. I am a bit picky about those because German chocolate was my grandfathers favorite cake. So I try it everywhere I go. Other than those I have absolutely loved everything else. My personal favorites so far are the lemon meringue pie and strawberry cream cheese pie (I believe thats what it is called). Their cheesecakes are very good as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered 3 small and 1 large pie... not exactly like Grandma used to make, but not bad at all. It was similar to the grocery store pies, but a bit better. They arent open 24 hours except on the weekend but open late enough. I recommend it if you need a last-minute pie for sure.

Went with adult family the other day. General feeling was the food quality has slipped from previous visits. Chicken pot pie was flavorless. The rubarb in the Strawberry - Rubarb pie was crunchy. (We grew rubarb up north so had a lot or rubarb pies made with a ton of sugar. But never crunchy rubarb.)

The service was great, but the regular menu has really gone downhill. My burger was dry and salty. My girlfriends chicken pot pie was bland. My daughter got a sandwich with American cheese that was awful. My father in law got a teriyaki chicken dinner that was terrible. My father got a slice of rhubarb/strawberry pie that was chewy, although they removed that item from the bill after we said something. I came here a few years ago and it was much better. Not sure what happened, but the quality was noticeably worse this time around.

The food here is fantastic! If you want to have the happiest heart attack of your life the Monte Cristo is for you. The waffles are my wife s favorite not too doughy, the slightest crunch, AND with pecans?! They re great. I m a fan of the breakfast tacos myself. All of this is complemented with what has always been fantastic customer service by the waiting staff. Two thumbs WAYYYYY up! Dietary restrictions: Kosher options are available here Wheelchair accessibility: No need for accessibility. It is a handicapable location.
