Wings half cooked. Had to finish cooking the ones I took home. Ordered nachos to eat in and it looked as if they used chips left over from someone else s meal. My first time there. A place with a great atmosphere, Great service and friendly service at that. Great parking, a little sports bar with outdoor seating that is great TV views matter where youre sitting in the bar , great drinks and prices on food. The fried mushrooms and orange aviator sauce is delicious . The wings are divine and the fries. The best wings I ve ever had and the fried pickles were delicious! My roomate and I were hungry one night and found this hidden gem. Adriana was an amazing server and will definitely be back :) + the jumbo wings were not that jumbo imo (was the jumbo in the room with us?) but the flavor made up for it. Was also surprised there were no flats! Is that something you ask for? Anyways, Definitely a must try!

The Jalapeño poppers to start were the right amount of cream cheese and crunch! We had a wonderful experience at Aviators from beginning to end . We live locally in CH and have always talked about stopping in to switch up our Friday night dinner routine. It was worth it. The food and service was amazing, shout out Marco. The Amelia drink, was not too sweet, just right, the wings and tenders were juicy, cleaned our plates , and kids Mac and cheese was loved by all. Cheesecake is homemade and delicious. We will be back! Windhaven crossing is finally open and cut the travel time in half!

The hot chicken sandwich is SO drenched in sauce that the bread was soaking wet, couldnt even pick the sandwich up. I pulled the chicken out of the sandwich... the breading of the fried chicken was so wet from the sauce, it slid off the chicken. It was just a wet mess at the point. The fries were nice.

Ive struggled to find some good wings in Dallas and Ive definitely found the place thats worth the drive. Maki took care of my friend and I and gave great suggestions. To start off with, he recommended the jalapeño poppers, which arent on the menu yet. They were very big, had the perfect amount of cream cheese and crunch to them. Im used to ordering tenders instead of wings because of how dry or overcooked they are when I do decide to try them but Maki reassured they were too good to pass up and he was right! He let us try the sauces we had in mind before ordering to be sure we liked them. I got the 10 piece wing combo with garlic Parmesan fries and you can choose two sauces or rubs for your wings. I got the Mile High Club (Aphrodisiac sauce with chillies) which was my favorite. It tasted like a spicy teriyaki, and had the right amount of spice and flavor. The second sauce I got was Kaileys Landing, which is a lemon pepper, ranch, and buffalo sauce. Both were really great! My friend also got the 10 piece wing combo with Hot Honey and BBQ and sweet potato waffle fries. She said it was all really good. The wings were tender and had the right amount of sauce and crisp. I see a lot of complaints on the pricing and I thought it was worth it for what youre getting. Everything was fresh and made on the spot, if you want dont want to pay a lot for drinks and wings then go to Buffalo Wild Wings. The cheesecake was absolutely amazing. You cannot leave without trying it. The owners mom makes them from scratch!! It was so creamy, the crust just melted in your mouth and honestly it was the best cheesecake Ive ever had, not trying to be dramatic. The restaurant is really clean and has a hangar theme going on. Plenty of TVs to watch games on, an outdoor seating area with comfortable furniture, and stools to sit at the bar as well. Give this place a try, you wont regret it. The owner is very welcoming and definitely knows what hes doing to cater to his customers. Maki was also great and very attentive!

Aviators? More like Boeing 737 Max 9... Ive lived in Austin Ranch for YEARS so was pumped about a new spot in the old New Orleans style bar/grill space that had been closed for a long.... LONG.... time. In comes Aviators... Opened not too long ago. I drive past and no one is there. I drive past another handful of times and no one is there. Weekdays, weekends, and it always looks empty. Because it is. I stop in one peak Saturday and there are 3 people in the entire bar. 1 customer, 1 waitress/bartender, and 1 cook. What is going on in here?, I ask myself so we order 2 drinks. $16 bucks each.... oh... I get it. Hmm, lets browse the menu and see if there is a draw there. BAR FOOD. I mean, it is a bar but they advertise like its some big wing house. So.... wings, cheese sticks, fries, tator tots, chips and dips, salads, a couple sandwiches and burgers. Apps $10 and up, everything else $20 and well up. Oh and $2 wings. Each. When I say bar food, its actually more like food you would get at a county fair cooked in a vat of used grease and sitting all day. Lackluster is an understatement. Drinks were WEAK. Beyond weak, for the price. The top shelf craft cocktails were a complete joke. And PRICEY. Ridiculously pricey. Service was subpar. Simply throwing wings and fries in a fryer shouldnt take 25 minutes. Food was extremely EXTREMELY basic. Ive had better food in my kids cafeteria on parents day. Oh, and the EXTRA CHARGE for using your credit card... seriously? This place is trash. Either the original owner is stuck in a lease and rebranded to get some hype. OR the new owners got it cheap and just threw something together. No wonder its ALWAYS empty. The complex across the street blows this place out of the water. Dont bother with Aviators cause its a Boeing 737 Max 9 headed straight DOWN.

We gave this place a try over the weekend. I hoped it would have been better. Service was very slow for the lack of customers. Need more training and just not the right job. There was one other person there and it took over 15 minutes to get drinks. The mezcal drink my husband had didnt have the right balance not sure if made correctly. The Gin old fashioned was pretty good. One of the wing meals in the group never got made with the others and the group was finished by the time the wings came. Not a way to bring back a customer. The wings were overpriced. Its too bad because was hopeful for this place.

Not too often do you come across a nice eatery with good food, atmosphere and customer service. But my wife and I have come in a couple of times and just love this place. We even sat with the owner and chatted about logo design for his business, and shared with me how he got his done. A really nice fella! Con s- So many first of all, the kitchen is extremely slow even when this place is empty. There were two guests at the bar after 1 pm on a Sunday, one eating and the other waiting on food, and my order took 35 minutes to cook fries and wings. Management needs to look at the prep time and reorganize for efficiency. Secondly, it is overpriced drastically! Its about $2.00 per chicken wing when you order here. 15 for $30, and I was quoted $60 for 25 wings!?!? They will not last in business at these price levels, considering they are charging $4 for fries with season salt and $5 for regular fries with a dry rub on them - a 10-piece wing combo /w fries would cost $25 - not practical for below average wings and small portion sizes. If you are right next to this place and desperate to give your money away for average food, GO for it - if not, shop around and try somewhere, anywhere else. DONT GET ATTACHED - This place might not make it a year without revamping the menu and adding quality control. Pro - the theme is well put together; I can see the concept, but this is just a bar, with limited food service options for adults; dont bring kids, they dont have a kids menu. Kid-friendliness: No kids menu so this place is not family friendly!

CALLING ALL SPICY CONNOISSEURS!!!! This place has 2 really spicy menu sauces.. And they re pretty hot if you chase that burn like I do! They told me about a wing challenge they re going to be promoting in the near future and I asked if they had the stuff for it yet.. they said yes and brought me a half challenge as I had already eaten a full meal. Checked it out online and saw that they had a couple of kids menu items. So we decided to go have a beer and some wings at 4:45pm on a rainy Saturday. Walked in and the place was empty except a couple of people at the bar and two staff. Sat down; wasn t acknowledged by anyone for about 5 minutes, completely ignored is more accurate. Left and will not be back unfortunately. It should say sports bar only if they don t want families on there at all.

I ordered to go about 3 weeks ago and got 15 wings with a few different flavors: the aviators house rub was very salty. The lemon pepper needed more acidity and I can t remember the last flavor so I m sure it was decent. I will say, the wings and celery were fresh; they held in the fridge for two days. 7 outta 10 at best.

Aviators does wings right. They use good quality chicken and cooked to perfection. I wish they would give descriptions of the sauces on their website. They use aviation themed names which leave you wondering what the sauce is made with. My first order was online and I picked 3 flavors not knowing if it was sweet, hot, or tangy. Luckily I really like spicy foods as 2 of the 3 were blazing hot. Give this place a try if you love wings!

Awesome food and awesome service. And even more awesome cocktails, like seriously each one was a show of itself. Cotton candy melted down with a torch or an ice cube melted into a ball before being put in a smoker with oranges and bourbon. The wings were delicious too, not greasy or cheap but actually quality. Good happy hour deals too. Jason is the man! Ask him about the syrup he has brewing! Itll blow your mind haha

This place is absolutely the best in the area! I can usually crush 15+ wings at other places, but Aviators MASSIVE jumbo wings had me digging deep to finish the 10 I ordered. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly as well! The service was friendly and attentive, and the environment was of the highest quality; it s obvious how much thought was put into the concept and design. I m so glad a place like this opened up in The Colony and I ll definitely be coming back! Go check it out!

Came in the Saturday after the grand opening. Food was great, we had the loaded tater tots which were fantastic, the chorizo was seasoned correctly and the queso was perfect, the only down side was the size of the order for $9 I expected more. For the wings flavors we tried, the Nashville hot, dog fight, and garlic Parm dry rub were all fantastic. The wings were large an cooked well! Absolutely no complaints.

Big delicious wings (ordered 15 pieces.. Mango Habanero, Dog Fight & Kaylis Landing.. 11 flavors to pick from with varying hotness) far meatier and more filling than most other wing places.. Fun aviator deco using real airplane parts.. Open late (12 midnight, 2am Fri/Sat).. everyone was super friendly and helpful Plus delicious cocktails (tried Amelia & Barry Seal.. exceptional and just right on sweetness - I dont care for overly sweet).. good draft beer selection too (Im personally not a beer drinker But I sampled Yuengling Flight for the first time & I was super impressed!) So.. creative concept, good location, late hours, friendly faces, great food (also sandwiches, salads, tenders & various appetizers) drinks and clean/inviting atmosphere!

Really enjoyed my visit. Aviators is a newly opened wing place with a full bar. The theme and decor are aviation inspired and the place has a great neighborhood bar vibe. Wings were big in size with big flavors. We tried the Buffalo and the Nashville Hot and both had depth of flavor in addition to a nice heat kick. Will definitely add Aviators into our rotation.

Wings had good flavor. Large order of fries didn t seem large-more of small/medium but they were good. Better definition of aviator sauce. When asked what it is, it was described as as Canes sauce, but not as sweet . Doesn t help if someone never had canes sauce. Staff very nice and checked on us frequently.

My wife and I took our kids to enjoy some delicious wings and beverages over the weekend. We ordered the mango habanero tenders, lemon pepper bone in wings and kids chicken tenders. We also ordered the Old Fashioned and Amelia listed on the drink menu. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly and we really enjoyed our time dining in. Would recommend! Wings were delicious - tried both the Nashville and BBQ, both flavors were great and the fries that came with it were also good. Cocktails were well made and unique. Recommend the Shanghai drink, which was light and refreshing. Decently busy but the food came out quick. Drinks took a bit longer but each cocktail was hand crafted individually. Owner was personable and nice.

This place needs to update their hours on Google/Yelp/wherever or fundamentally provide more information on public websites. I drove from downtown to try you guys based on reading a few different articles that indicated the place was awesome. The articles didnt say that the restaurant was open only for a soft open but Yelp indicated that they were in a soft open phase. The last review was a week ago (so recent enough to indicate that it was actively serving food) and Google said the restaurant was open and they had been open for hours (supposely). Google also had a review from three days prior. I called ahead and the voice mail didnt mention being closed or having reduced hours due to a soft open. So... I show up and doors are locked. Lights are on. Chairs on floor. Bar stocked. I finally see someone in the kitchen and the employee looked directly at me but didnt even move from their task despite me trying to call again (to ask whether it was just closed for a downtime or maybe the door accidentally got locked, etcetera). Probably not coming back because if their hours arent accurate, I am not driving potentially an hour in traffic during traditional dinner hours to ensure the resturant is open. Mind you, this was around 3:30 p.m. so its not like I showed up at close (which is supposedly 2 a.m.) or open (11 a.m.).

Just tried for the first time. Soft launch menu but spoke to the supervisor (Grace) who was great, said new spicier flavors are on the way (including carolina reaper which I m excited about) and desserts etc from February plus lunch options which is good. Overall friendly staff, place looks great, beer menu was great, cocktails were good, wings were good (again flavor choice was small but more on the way) - still a little quiet which you d expect from only recently being open but excited to have a great wings place locally. A little on the pricier side than we were expecting but food and drinks were good. Excited to go back and try the new menu once soft launch is done. Outdoor space will be good in the summer, loved the added touch of airline seats outside the entrance. Overall would recommend giving it a go and will definitely be back! Would be great on a match day if they offered match day beer pricing and pitchers etc.

Wow! What a find. We went here to check out their soft opening and they hit it out of the park. The wings were so good, sure you might say wings are always good but they seemed to level up the wing game. We talked with the owner and everything they did to get the wings to the table was carefully manicured and crafted and you can really tell they put the time in. The tater tots and fries were very tasty, I think it is the cooking oil that they use. We also got the Caesar salad with grilled Chicken, my girlfriend and I loved it. We both love Caesar salads and Aviators nailed it. We will definitely be frequenting this spot often.
