A great place to get a variety of sandwiches . Hardly no wait time when I was there. Friendly staff and good service. Only problem that I noticed was sitting area was very dirty. Needs to clean up the area where people sit and eat.update: February 17, 22, As great as can be, service excellent, everything was very clean including the bathrooms.plus all military and first responders get 50% off. Update: April 23, 22. Was a very nice afternoon at Schlotzskys. Very few customers were dining in. Staff very friendly. Floors and bathrooms nice and clean. Fast service. Update: February 10, 2023. Had to make a quick stop for a sandwich. In quick, fast service and staff very friendly today. Mens bathroom dirty, needs some care. Update: April 22,20203. Slow time. Got inc, ordered. Very quick. Sad, since nobody there -- floors dirty, trash cans full but nobody was there for cleaning. They just was all taking a break. The food was outstanding Update: 7 July,2023. All is much better this time. Floors, bathrooms very clean . Laughter, and fun to be there. Staff very friendly. Food was excellent 01 October, 23. Had a busy day, decided to pick up a few originals. Decided to go in and wow. All clean along with a very happy staff. No waiting, sandwiches were ready. Fantastic sandwiches Update: 23 Jan, 2024. So sad to be here today. Beware of the drive thru. Speaker not working. So t sent inside. Note: no sodas, only tea. Also out of f stock of certain chips. Saw many patrons turn around and leave. Bad day for Schlotzskys. Update: 18 April, 2024. Went to have a quick lunch. Am very happy. All menu items were available. Meaning the Sandwich Shop was well supplied. Breaking from the problems from the past. . Update: 30 September, 2024. Always a nice place to go and enjoy a good sandwich. Food is good but at times they run out of different sides that you would enjoy. Most of the time you will receive good service, make sure you get what you order

The original was good as always but the sweet tea was awful. Watered down not by ice because there wasn t much in it when I got it. It was very light in color and just slightly sweet. It tasted like lightly sweetened water. You guys can do better than that.

I really hate to leave this review but I do so in hopes the owner will see and hopefully make changes. I order a med. Veggie sandwhich with no chz from here every other day. Usually through door dash. I do so because im on ozempic and right now its the only thing i can stand to eat. I eat half for lunch one day and half the next. IYKYK! I always ask for extra veggies because the amount put on there normally is so little its mostly bread. But it doesnt make any difference. I still get just a pinch of everything. And mostly never get the spear pickle its supposed to come with. I would ask for pickles on the sandwich but its not and option on the apps. I dont blame the workers as theyve probably been instructed to do this. PLEASE have the workers put a decent amount of veggies on the VEGGIE SANDWICH! After spending dang near $20 to have a veggie sandwhich delivered to me Id like more than just bread and a PINCH of veggies! Id like to continue eating hear but cant keep spending so much for so little. Please improve this and Ill be happy to raise my rating :) Tysm

Blake is such a lovely employee to interact with. Not everyone here has the best customer service, but Blake is always welcoming and takes his time to make sure the customer is satisfied. Customer service isn t what it used to be but this young man does a stellar job!

1st impression mean a lot. Wife and I came in to get dinner. They had a list of things they were out of on the counter. But when we ordered they said they were out of that to... well its not on the list I said. He told me new owners did not want to put everything down on the list cause it was to long. We both settled for plain turkey sandwiches and only salt and vinger chips. Soad machine only had diet drinks available and there was not tea made up. Eat at you on risk.

DONT DINE IN!!! Only go through their drive through at this location! Very rude staff with low cleanliness inside. The menu was a little pricey, quality and large serving sizes make up for the price. These sandwiches are enormous and delicious. I love the pickle on the side. I had issues with the staff standing around chatting and playing with their phones. The soda station was out of straws, lids and almost out of napkins. They were out of a few sodas and had no note to display what syrup was out of order. The biggest issue I had though, was that my mother and I had to walk around the building twice before we could find a decently clean table. Then when we asked the staff about the soda station and if they could clean a table, the man at the counter rolled his eyes and a woman in the back started giggling. He handed us some napkins so we could clean the table ourselves and didnt budge from the register. Parking: Drive through wraps weirdly through the parking lot. Few parking spaces for such and empty building. Most of the parking was taken up by the MUCH busier stores next door.

I tried to bring home schlochkeys for my wife who is not feeling well. She wanted soup and a sandwich. I get in line at the drive through only to be told cash only. Now I am trapped in the line for twelve minutes. I am giving only one star because I didnt get to try the food or the service. Next time this happens you should inform people BEFORE you trap them in your drive through.

I walked in and the manager and another employee just stood there and stared at me, talking to each other, while the cashier had to walk from across the restaurant to ask can I help you? Yes, please. Pick up order for elisabeth. Another lady walked the bag over to me, I needed a cup carrier and again manager and other employee just stood there while the cashier had to squish herself passed them to get it. Thank you very much. Took my to go bag back to eat it at my work desk to find the chicken is just sliced sandwich meat? Theres maybe four strawberries and not enough dressing. And no fork despite me asking if there was utensils inside. Disappointing way to waste $20. The tea is good though.

Well the time we went there was through the drive and first thing the cashier said was SORRY CASH ONLY, so we told her no problem well go to CVS and get some cash..we go through the drive through again,she doesnt say cash only again so when go to order shes with her lazy voice(it sounded like she didnt want to be there)can I help you..we give her our order 3 sandwiches 4 drinks and 1 potato soup..well we got everything but soup..I couldnt believe that someone like her is working, these young need training in CUSTOMER SERVICE..I work food service for 25 years and Ive never that Attitude she had.

Went to drive thru in Temple, TX. Have always loved schlotzskys sandwiches, but my sandwich was tasteless, it hardly had any turkey and too much mayo and avocado. We ordered 3 meals and one sandwich the other three barley had meat either and the price was almost $50. I understand the price because of inflation, but not for the tiny amount of meat. One of the sandwiches was an original and it only had ham. If this is what schlotzskys is serving now I will not eat at your restaurant any longer.

I absolutely love schlotzskys I always get the double deluxe or whatever thats called I love that sandwich its my favorite. Just went yesterday with my husband and mother-in-law. Although, they were out of black olives, thats okay. Because Im not complaining. I will always go back again. Absolutely love their sandwiches

Came by today for a salad, and I tried the Chicken Avocado Cobb. It was delicious with lots of toppings. Big chunks of meat and Avocado. They gave me two cups of Caesar, which was great as the salad was pretty huge. The container is great for shaking. And my tea was 10/10. The salad came with buttered breadsticks.

I ordered a #8 with a double original double meat and I only got a piece of meat on each corner bread. (No Doible or any meat). I also had a coupon for a free original sandwich which I didn t get a receipt to see if it was taking care of. I called the Temple store on 31st and I actually had to call 3 times to get someone to pick up. I just felt that no one wanted to be there. I ve been craving Schlotzsk s for awhile and I ran into this issue. Ouch! Do better!! I don t know how to post a picture of this depressive sandwich.

I totally agree with Nicholas Jenn review. The young girl who has fake lashes at front is very rude even her voice. Her food bagging for online order is absolutely awful, and she doesnt even check the order sheet and just throws it away. Sometimes she doesn t even put it in a bag. If you dont want to work and everything is annoying, I just want you to go home. I went there a few times so far, Another girl always smoking and talking in the car at front side parking lot, inside people talking and laughing each other even customers waiting at counter. Is it a problem that only people who are too young are working? The manager or owner would like us to think seriously about what we are saying at least once

Walked in to get online order on September 15 around 6pm. Girl in the front was getting cookie for drive thru, saw me waiting but after getting done with drive thru she proceeded to sit down and get on her phone. I was then waiting at the counter for another 10 minutes just listening to workers laughing in the back before someone saw me and took her time walking over while being on her phone. It was not busy whatsoever so I don t understand that kind of customer service.

Apparently they dont make the sandwich that I ordered so they gave me something else without telling me. When I checked my order when I got home I called and told them they gave me the wrong thing (roast beef cheesy)and I repeated what I ordered they said to come back up there and get my sandwiches. I went back up to get my sandwiches and they still gave me what I did not order ( turkey cheesy). So I went back to the drive-thru and told them this is not what I ordered and repeated the sandwich I ordered they said we dont have that anymore and I said when I ordered why didnt you tell me they didnt make that sandwich anymore she said oh I just gave you this sandwich instead. I was very disappointed with the sandwich that I was given. They need to update their online menu and tell the customers if they order something that they dont make anymore instead of just giving them what they think they want.

Came in as a gentleman was stating that his sandwich was missing the meat. After he was finished, I stood at the counter for at least 5 minutes without being acknowledged. Girl making sandwiches looked at me several times and still did not acknowledge me. I noticed that she was not wearing a head covering of any kind. I was finally waited on by a gentleman wearinga cap. I asked him why it took him so long to acknowledge me and he said he was remaking the sandwich for the customer ahead of me. Not true, he was on his phone. No ice in the lobby fountains for customers, but he made sure he had some. Totally sad.

Where to begin... First we waited for about 3-5 min for the help to acknowledge us. Second, we wanted to dine in, they packed our stuff to go. Third, they skipped the meat on a #6, you know the menu, then you know. Fourth, the manager threw attitude at at a customer that was behind us she also waited for 3-5 min before she was greeted. Lastly, the health violations, a young lady was working the receiving spot on the line with no hat, no hair net, fake lashes, attitude and the vibe is just yuck, no ice in the lobby machines yet this worker tries the machine and goes to the back to get himself ice, the sweetea is still sitting on the brewing station with empty counter jugs, the main line worker can not leave his phone alone, yes hes wearing gloves when handling food but hes in plain view, and we have been here for 45 minutes and NO one has washed their hands. Overall, I would say go in with rock bottom expectations and you wont be disappointed. Smh.

I just spent ten minute trying to place a to go order with the restaurant for my and my boss lunch. They didn t answer twice, picked up the phone so they could hang it up twice, and picked it up and didn t speak, or ask to hold because they were busy. They let it do that until I hung up. I took my business to Jersey Mikes up the street and will just do that from now on.

If I could give 0 stars I would. First off, Ive ordered online many times and my order is almost always wrong. Being right has been the exception. Today was the last straw. I ordered online a supreme pizza and went to pick it up. The lobby was locked. So I go to the drive thru ( where 4 cars were ) and tell the lady that I just need to pick up my food not place an order. I was told I had to wait . (which absurd. My food would be cold!) Then I get my order and go home. Surprise surprise its wrong. No mushrooms. My wife wants mushrooms. Its the only reason she likes the pizza. So I go back and its not even 9 (like 7 mins till) and they tell me no more orders. I tell them they got my order wrong. So they remake it. I go home and its the same. No mushrooms. Im never going to spend another dime at this place.

This place has seriously gone down hill! We used to go there at least once a week but lately, we ve just quit going there! There is hardly any wait time which is good. The order is almost always mixed up, they never have all of the flavors of soda. The dining room is always a mess and employees standing around doing nothing about the dirty tables and floors. DOWNRIGHT PARTIALITY. The food was good but I don t understand for what reason we were given it as a takeout while in the bill it clearly mentions dine-in. Moreover, only us in the whole restaurant was served that way while others were served in a tray and not as a packaged to-go. In fact their food was being delivered to the table while for us the number was announced. I have never experienced such partiality in any other restaurants.

I was in Temple for VA Medical and needed to kill some time before getting on I35 and heading for Austin. I stopped here for dinner, great decision on my part! The young lady taking my order was kind and courteous and some of the best customer service I have had in fast food. I wish I had her name so I could tell her boss. My food was hot and tasty and I enjoyed my meal. Thank you Schlotzkys team for a job done well.

Let me tell you about the HORRIBLE experience I had. We ordered food and my bf went and picked it up for us. When he got home we realized that half of the food was missing. He called and talking to Kristine/Christine however she spells it and explained the situation. She told us that they were super busy and that she s not going to fix our order THEY messed up on or put us at the top of the line that WE can wait until they slow down or come back tomorrow. The attitude of this girl was UNBELIEVABLE. Especially considering it was them who messed up our order in the first place and we were more than patient and reasonable with them. She said the lady at the window was new and her fault. People make mistakes that s okay, but to be unwilling to fix a mistake YOUR team made and be so rude is NOT okay. My company and I eat here at least twice a week and I can guarantee I will never eat here again. She needs to be fired and find a new profession. Places get busy, I understand. But the attitude and unprofessionalism Kristine/Christine had was inexcusable. As sad as I am, I ll never eat at this location again. I ll be happy to drive to Belton

Ordered the French dip sandwich. Got home and no dipping sauce. Went back and asked about it and was told oh, we dont have any more sauce. Also girl taking order completely ignored us when we were there and just stared at her cash register. No thank you, nothing. Speechless. Will NOT be back ever.

They are extremely slow in the drive thru, every time Ive been thru there, often the only one there, I wind up sitting there close to 10 minutes. Great food but turtles on the drive thru.

There I was with the fam at 9:15pm, in front of the cash register waiting for someone to take my order. 5 min passed when my wife then said, Anyone coming out to help us? Then a voice at the back answered with, we close at 9pm on the weekends! Now mind you the front door was not locked nor was there a sign of them closing an hour early on the weekend. Only sign I saw was, open daily from 10 am - 10pm. When it comes to my fam, good info is a must.

The manager and assistant manager were excellent. Our order was given to someone else, and we were given the wrong order. We went and told them it was wrong, and not only did they correct it, but they gave us a free Cinnabon for our troubles. They were very professional and very busy, so we were not mad about the mix-up. We did not ask them for anything extra either; we just wanted the correct order. That is what excellent customer service looks like.

Quick and delicious. I love their original sandwich and original combination pizza. Its always a challenge to decide which one I want! Dont forget the Cinnabon too.
