This place is ok if you want to do everything yourself other then cook the food. You order at a kiosk, they call you up to get your own food, and you get your own drinks. Made it easy to not leave a tip as there was no service at all. The pizza is good and the beer is on tap that you get yourself and they charge you by the ounce.

Clean and welcoming spot! The dough has the right amount of chew and their brick oven adds a nice crisp to the edges! All you need is good imagination and let your taste buds decide on what to add as a topping! 100% recommend this place! Parking: Parking garage across the street. To be completely honest, this place is over rated. If you re looking for good pizza at a fair price this place is not for you, we paid $40 for 2 small sized pizzas and one fountain drink, and you have to order your food and pick up the food yourself and they still ask for a tip on the POS, also some of the staff is not welcoming at all or lack customer service experience. I most likely won t be back or recommend this location.

You have to order yourself with a tablet which was barely working and on top of that they have one soda machine and the ice maker didn t work . Normally when I buy from this restaurant I order through DoorDash and there are no issues. The food is good and I receive what I order. However, today I didn t receive one of the items and I ordered and when I chose a dipping sauce for my pizza they instead put the dipping sauce on the pizza. The brisket pizza is not good when they put hot sauce over most of the pizza instead of include it as a dipping sauce.

Please bring this to Waco! Treno s Taproom has a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating. I brought my kids, and it s perfect for families lots of space for the little ones to play. The brisket pizza was fantastic, with tender meat and a great crust. If you re looking for another recommendation, try the Margherita pizza, pepper pig and the Lord of the Rings. Nom. The pineapple beer was light and refreshing, and they have rotating cider options worth trying. Whether you re with family or friends, Treno s is a must-visit for great food and drinks! I and my husband enjoyed wonderful lunch. My shrimp salad was outstanding. The pizza toppings and sauce was delightful as well. The crust was quite hard and yeasty tasting like it needed more kneeding and work before going into oven. The order terminal had problem taking a credit card and needed some banging. It s always seems like a very cool idea for self checkout until the technology fails. Will be back to try more items!

Such a fun place! I loved that there was a tablet I could walk up to and place my order quickly, although theres a counter to order at as well. Theres a great courtyard in the back with a playground for the kids. The pizza came out quickly and was delicious!

I am a person who appreciates quality my 1st experience with this company was when my business partner ordered about q0 pizzas for employees this last week I was impressed with it and tonight having pizza night while hanging with my mom I decided to get us a Margherita and a Mediterranean Pizza which Id had the Margherita but not the other and it was even far better!! We were both very satisfied the only reason I gave service a 4 was because I paid with $100 and the girl had a hard time getting change back correct. But all worked out. I highly recommend to anyone after quality fresh flavors in their meal

I was really looking forward to eating here, many choices, which is good. Our pizza was a thin crust which made the pizza soggy, really oily, taste was good, but could of been better if the crust didn t get soggy. Another restaurant with television screens. It would be nice to go into a restaurant where there is no TV. I guess I am old school where I actually like to visit with the people I am with. Retrieving plates and utensils were not easily accessible. But again I do enjoy convenience and service. Not sure if we will return, perhaps a beer next time. Thank you

The pizza was fantastic, the bruschetta was good, and the beer selection was excellent. The pour your own beer was cool, and I enjoyed pouring a flight to sample a few. I met up with friends to catch up, and the place is fairly loud with a lot of children. It does have a large outdoor playground, so thats understandable. It was too hot to sit outside, but we did manage to find a quieter spot in the front. Overall, its a cool place. Its probably more of a family place, so it depends on what youre looking for, but its definitely worth checking out. You wont be disappointed with the food or beer!

The only table big enough for our party (with kids) was in full sun and they wouldn t allow us to pull two other tables together in the shade. Legit zero service, out of two things we wanted to order, no QR code for the menu and no paper menus available. Kiosk ordering that makes everything difficult. Im glad I held off rating Treenos until a second visit. The staff behind the counter preparing and putting the food out this time really sold me beyond the cons of the first visit. Now, mind you, I am grading Treenos for what it is - a pizza and beer restaurant. Pros - tasty pizza, an amazing steak salad, counter and preparation staff (awesome), and lots of really good beer and cider. Cons - checking in. Depending on what you want, you order and pay for your food at a tablet/credit card station. Lines can get long as it takes a while to scroll thru options. Then, if you want beer, you see a staff member, and they set up a tab for you. Again, lines can get long when busy. If there is more than one of you, divide and conquer. At the end of the day, its a fun place with really good eats. There is plenty of stuff to keep the kids happy as well. Very family friendly.

Absolute 5 for the pizza! Probably the best pizza I ve ever had! Great atmosphere and cool building. Great place all around. My only complaint, and this is from a Pacific Northwest beer snob, is that their selection of beers is not that great. I m sure Bird creek brewing is just fine for this area, but they re sub par at best. I d love to see some top shelf beer here: Pinthouse, 5 stones, or even better yet, some west coast breweries: Moonraker, Alvarado st, Breakside, Great Notion. I realize I m a 1%er when it comes to craft beer though, so really I have no complaints about this place. Top notch.

That pizza joint, man, let me tell you, its like theyre trying to set a new record for burnt pizza! I mean, who wants to bite into a charcoal crust, right? And dont even get me started on the prices, way too high for what you get. Youd think with those prices, theyd at least give you a decent-sized portion, but nope, youre basically paying for crumbs. Great ingredients, tremendous crust and perfect sauce... it is going to be difficult to find a combo like this in a pizzeria. We didnt even get a chance to try the huge display of beer on tap. Revisit: Great service. We were in a far off corner that you would think might get neglected but they came by often to check in with us. Pizza was great. They did run out of ice but I cant penalize them for that on my third refill. First time trying the outdoor area which was exactly what we needed for our party.

It is all self service where you have to order at a kiosk and then self serve beer. Then they have the audacity to ask for a tip!? Pizza was awesome but terribly disappointing service. I picked up the only small pizza tray to use as a plate but needed two for my young nieces...this left one child in tears so I explained to the staff why I needed another and was told that they didnt have any more as customers have stolen them. I expressed my doubt that they only had ONE and was assured that was the case. I then enjoyed cookies at the adjoining coffee shop and was surprised that the cookies were served on the same trays and then got a tea refill in Trenos and saw a stack of small trays. The Tap Wall is way too complicated! After waiting 10 minutes to place my order for food, I went to the tap wall to get a Corona. I was told I actually need to go back to the front of the restaurant so I can load a charge card like Dave & Busters to pay for the beer. I wait another 10 minutes in a different line, load my card with cash, go to pour my beer, and I get nothing but foam... I tried pouring again, but the system locked me out because it thought Ive had too much? All I wanted was a beer! I usually just avoid getting drinks here because its too much work. Every time I take someone here they have a similar experience. I would 1000% prefer a bar with a bartender who can provide recommendations, timely service, and correct pours. If it aint broke, dont fix it

Waste of time unless you like drinking half glasses of beer or foam. Go to a bar and get someone to do it for real. Staff is indifferent. I basically paid for a couple beers I never got. Half beers at best. Prepare to be cut off on child like portions of alcohol when their machines clearly have a calibration problem. Shouldnt have to pay for something I never received. No ones there to help you when you come in, much less explain how the kiosk works or how to order anything from the bar.

Ive been twice now. They have a live area that is super cool, unfortunately its going to be too hot for anything in summer unless its late evening. They also have a good sized kid area, well kept. The experience is definitely differen; You order at front on little kiosks, if you want alcohol you go to the register and they scan your license and a credit card then give you a an NFC card to activate their dozens of beer choices. Many choices are local or craft beer but still a handful of mainstream. You pay by the ounce so be careful of foam! Our food took nearly 40 minutes to arrive and was good, but not Fire Street great. We definitely ate it all. The price was as expected. I loved their craft sodas in addition to a myriad of beer options. I will definitely return.

The heavyset, bearded cook left our appetizers sitting on the shelf for 20 minutes, never said anything. By the time our pizza came out, It wasn t nearly fresh. The salad was wilted and the crostini was soggy. It didn t help that he was wiping under his nose with an ungloved hand and then using that hand to push our food onto our plates. I love even more, the salty, condescending attitude that the cook adopted instead of the customer service type attitude we expect from professionals. I told him about his mistake and his tone made it obvious that he didn t take my criticism to heart. I m not going to bring my team here for lunch meetings after this incident. The food is good, but condescending, unhygienic restaurant employees really kill a dining experience for me. Hit me up if you ever retrain the entitlement out of that kid.

Went to Treno this week for date night and our server Katie was a breath of fresh air! She answered every question I had about the menu and refilled our drinks throughout our meal. Its my favorite pizza and beer spot in Central Texas. I love the brick oven pizza and wings. so many beers are on tap to choose from. Just get your beer card, grab a cup, and pour your own beer. I live literally 2 min from this place. My kids and I love it! The food is fresh, customer service is phenomenal! I love supporting businesses in my neighborhood. Id highly recommend everyone going here its sooooo good!

Really cool pizza place with a great selection of beer on tap if you like craft beers. The tap is run via a card that you purchase. You can use the card to sample whatever beer you want up to a certain number of ounces. Pretty neat!

This Temple treasure not only survived the road/parking garage construction they thrived! The brand new parking garage(across the street) is open. Hats off to the mgmt, this place is consistently clean and the staff are great! Met my beloved for lunch to try their chicken parm (special this week). It was delicious; the lemon vinaigrette arugula salad was a perfect accompaniment..who needs noodles? Their menu has something for everyone and the ingredients are FRESH.

I originally wanted to go for a better pizza experience. I wouldnt recommend a custom pizza, but I tried the pizza my husband got, the flying saucer and it was really good. The dining room was modern and clean. The playgrounds outside looked fun for kids. I didnt understand the drink pickup bc I wanted a water cup?Someone standing by the takeout sign brought it to me. For the pizza pickup they call the name of the person that pays. If youre trying to go the bathroom, theres a wall divider with a cafe and more seating on the other side?

Another great meal and experience here. Fantastic pizza but I m ALWAYS bummed they limit your toppings to 5-6 I think. Mario came in clutch with some awesome sauces and does a great job keeping the kitchen producing very timely. Great place to bring the kiddos and let them burn carbs on the play area. Thanks Nario for the tips If we pay for special toppings . Let us pile it on please! Consider this an option

Cool taproom. Didn t eat the pizza. Ordered Meatball they were like shoe leather dried out, wings were bland. Got the keto bowl was just meat and veggies, cheese, no flavor. Ordered about 40 bucks in food. The kids there are just going through the motions there you can tell the way the food tasted. She called up my to go order. She said you bag it up in the front. Had to walk to the front and bag my own food up. Very disappointed given the great reviews. First time, last time here.

Trenos has tasty food and large portions. Its a little pricey, but good for celebrating with a group of friends every once in a while. Great selection if you are a beer drinker but not for wine lovers. Nice outdoor play area to keep kids entertained but a very limited kids menu.

I really enjoyed the meaty boy(?) pizza I had here. I cant argue that the pizza is well made. The size could be better for the price, but that seems to be a trend for pizza in the area. Id eat here again though. The kitchen looked clean and orderly. The staff was friendly. It wasnt too loud to go here. The nearby parking was pretty good.

Great concept. Pizza is OK was hoping for better. Fun place for families to take the kiddos for pizza and beer. Im giving 3 stars for a couple reasons. #1 The BEES are an uncomfortable and unwelcome surprise. We sat down and were absolutely surrounded by them. We had to pour or spoon them out of our drinks and I even swallowed one but luckily spit it out before it could possibly sting me. As important as bees are they should definitely do something to curb their existence at the pizzeria. And #2, while i absolutely loved the self pour option, the 3 beer limit per ID is ridiculous. I can drink 3 beers without it being overboard in a normal setting but if hanging out with friends and fam for any length of time it goes fast. Still though, we will go back at some point since it is so kid friendly.

I like the concept of self-serve, but I think there should be more kiosks and one other person to assist. The pour your beer idea was ok. Ill try that next time. My pizza was very good, but the wings lemon garlic flavor were not seasoned at all. Like the location and the restroom was clean.

Great food, great staff. We were there when they had a power outage and they were doing whatever they could to still serve people and make sure we still had a good experience. I enjoyed Treno the first time we came. Our second experience was just as pleasant. Simple pizza out of a wood fire oven. If you prefer pizza that doesn t come from a chain this is a great spot to try out. Good family atmosphere. Their customer service is great. I ordered a margarita pizza that I did not care for and they kindly replaced my order with something else. They have a play yard on the patio for the children. Sometimes they have live music. Oh, and the sweet tea . Bomb dot com. Would love to see another locale in Killeen but it s worth the drive. Kid-friendliness: The patio has a play structure for the children. In my opinion it s most suitable for children 9 and under.

We love Treno, have been here a few times before and tonight got the Relleno pizza which was amazing. We got a dessert pizza as well, the Nutella pizza, which honestly was underwhelming. Just a baked pizza crust with a ton of Nutella and a few strawberries on it. I wish they d either put more strawberries on it, less Nutella, or added some other flair like powdered sugar, caramel drizzle, whipped cream, or some glaze on the crust or even some other fruit. It just seemed like some thing you could make at home. That being said we will definitely come back this is just a point of improvement. The bathrooms were clean, seating and parking were abundant and the playground our back is awesome.
