Was a really cute play area. Train tracks right next to the park is an added bonus & the trees covered most of the play area so it wasnt blistering hot! Please dont bring your dog here, kids playing, trains going by etc is not safe for people.

This park is our favorite one in Temple. I just wish there was a gate at the entrance. Theres a toddler section so itd be nice if parents of multiple kids could bring their toddlers and young kids and let them play without having to worry about whether theyre going to run off while theyre distracted with another kiddo. It doesnt make sense to me that thered be a toddler/baby section and not have a safety gate.

If youre a railfan then this is a park to go to. The north bound Texas eagle Amtrak gets there around 11:00 to 12:00 in the morning. The playscape is big for kids 12 and under and trains are there 24/7. Last time I was there I saw a parked Canadian Pacific Engine. Toilets: Right next to the playscape with picnic tables next to it as well.
