This is the place to stay in Temple if your going to be there for a week or more for sure. Everything there is nice and clean. Only complaint would be they over cook the breakfast every day, way way way over cook it.

Although I travel weekly, this was my first experience at Home 2 Suites but certainly not my last. The overall hotel is beautiful and clean. The absolute best breakfast and 24 coffee is a total bonus. The suite is beautifully stocked, clean, all things operable and super cozy. I am certainly putting Home 2 down as a preference. Sharell, Margaret & Catherine were great helps. I also adore Jess & Gene!!! I appreciate seeing kind people serving and on the forefront in our customer service industry. Thank you for a beautiful week. Ill be back!

I recently spent two weeks at Home2 Suites and had an exceptional experience, largely due to the outstanding service provided by Margaret! From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome and valued. The personalized message on my TV screen was a lovely touch, but it was Margarets genuine warmth and care that truly made my stay special. Throughout my stay, Margaret consistently went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Her daily greetings and inquiries about my day were sincere and made me feel like I was part of the Home2 family. Her kindness, empathy, and dedication to her guests are truly remarkable. Margaret is an asset to the Home2 team, and her exceptional service has set a new standard for my future stays. If youre looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, look no further than Home2, and ask for Margaret - shell take care of you like family!

Dishonest about room availability. Placed us on the 1st floor when we wanted a room higher up. People in our group checked in after us and they were put on the 2nd floor. Doors in room are in bad shape I told them the bathroom door is messed up. No one came to check like they said they would

Three stars for a three-star hotel lol. But more seriously, if I were the owner, I would be livid with the builder. The tile was very poorly done. Grout was discolored, crown molding and tile was unevenly placed in many spots, and I found a crack that ran down the grout from one end of the room to the other (sounds like a building structure issue). The shower/tub had rust in at least two places, adhesive from a failed attempt to place the shower soap holder wasnt removed, the shower curtain rod was bent and loose, and the tub made hideous cracking noises as I stepped around inside. Toilet wasnt secured tightly to the floor. Sliding door to the bathroom didnt latch. Electric window blinds didnt seal, so outside light will pollute a dark room at night. The lack of seal was affecting the top of the fixture, where the blind housing meets the wall. There were mismatched lightbulbs, oddly placed outlet covers or unsecured outlet covers entirely, and no bathroom vent. Breakfast had a limited selection before 10am. Eggs were running low, ran out of biscuits, and it is a pain trying to grab food in the deep, shallow tray in which they store it. Saw this place is going for $220 a night. This is a decent hotel, but that price is ludicrous for the quality of workmanship, based on my experience. But definitely give this place a shot if youre using points or the price has dropped $100, at least.

August 14th I had another surgery and was in the hospital for two nights and stayed here. Margaret remembered my husband and asked about me and how we have been doing. With all the customers that come through here, she remembered us and was very friendly and personal. Gene is also a very friendly staff member here. He talked to my husband and asked how we were doing all the time. He offered to help us get settled back into the room when I got out of the hospital and stayed here another night. We will stay here again if needed. Thank you so very much.

The staff Margaret and Alayah truly make the difference they are consistently accommodating, welcoming, and go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Whether its a quick check-in after a long day or a simple request during my stay, they handle everything with a smile and genuine hospitality. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, and equipped with all the latest smart technology, making it easy to relax or catch up on work. The wireless connectivity is excellent, which is a big plus for business travelers like me. This place is testing a new breakfast called Inspired Table with different featured sandwiches daily along with instructions to make them. There is also more variety. I think its fantastic. The first-floor room was mostly clean with nice colors and much furniture, but the bathroom needed maintenance. The sink faucet was loose at the mount and felt like it would break off every time I pushed the lever. The shower door had a loose stop that would rattle along the frame whenever the door moved. Found a small worm on the floor I requested maintenance to fix the sink faucet both days I was there but it never happened. The fitness center was great. One of the very few Ive been where the dumbbells went up to 75 lbs. There was also a cable machine. The front stass were not too engaging nor welcoming, but they did their duty. Great location with some good restaurants in the vicinity and hospital across the street.

I booked this hotel through priceline. Worked 20 days in a row and was in on business. I was not feeling well and desperately seeking some rest. I explained this to z at the front desk and explained I didnt want to talk much. She asks me my name twice when my idea was in her possession. I am then told my lay and bed third party card didnt go through. I explained I booked through priceline. She said oh. Then said priceline didnt go through although my booking was confirmed on my end. I asked if she could call them as Im barely holding on and cant muscle a phone conversation. She said no with agitating voice. I asked for manager she said no. I said can you call one she said no shes out of texas. I then had to call priceline and wait 20 minutes to speak to someone. Explained what happened but am told I will get a call back in another 20 minutes. By the time I get back into my room I will have to go back to work. Was really needing rest. I did not even get an option to pay for my room direct and cancel with priceline. Terrible service and no solutions available. I am not happy right now

It has gotten much worse since I arrived for the first time in 2021. I am a Diamond customer and I dont like at all that after covid the level of services has worsened everywhere. Room cleaning is carried out upon request made the day before. Most of the time, despite the request being submitted correctly, the room is not cleaned. The price per night has increased but not the quality level. After 6 months I managed to obtain the Hilton Member points I was entitled to for 2 months of stay. Although I tried to contact the reception I never received a response. In this hotel you are well seen if you smile freely and dont complain. The worst Hilton hotel Ive been in is this one, the treatment of Hilton facilities in much of the USA is no different.

Being in the Home2 Suites Temple has been a very horrible experience! I am booked from 5/20-5/24. As soon as I entered the hotel room it has this repugnant stench and stained carpets. The kitchen faucet is loose, the dish racks are dirty, dusty and oily. I can t even walk in the room bare-footed, every time I do I notice that my feet are black. I first noticed this when I entered the shower, all the blackness was running under my feet. The soap dispenser in the restroom is loose and coming off the drywall and the shampoo dispenser is broken and does not dispense soap. The toilet gets stuck in the tank. I literally must take the top off, jiggle the toilet pump for it to work and put the top back on every time I use the toilet. The ceiling of the bathroom s paint is peeling off due to moisture. The pocket door in the restroom is hard to close, locks are inoperable and the handles on both sides are very loose. There is a random oval table that is being stored in the closet that does not even fit in the room. The blinds are out of track and very dirty. There is a vent that makes a hissing sound non-stop making it hard to sleep. When I went to the front desk the next day Tuesday May 21st, 2024, to get my room switched out, the lady with tattoos and piercings was not being very helpful or empathetic. She looked very bothered and annoyed. She let me know that they were fully booked, I understand that. She stated that maintenance would be in my room the next day to fix the issues and get the room in order. As of Thursday May 23rd, 2024, no one from maintenance has been in my room. Housekeeping has been in my room, and I know they know my dispensers are broken. They failed to replace the broken dispensers. They are working on the door that s by my room, and they left it without a doorhandle/lock for hours. Compromising the safety of the guests. There was one night when the upstairs guests were being unruly, I attempted to call the front desk to let them know about the issue, no one picked up the phone. I went up to the front desk to talk someone in person and no one was up there. I stood by the front desk and called the hotel from my cellphone, and I just heard the phones ring and ring. This hotel has been nothing short of a subpar hotel experience from the room to the employees and the amenities. All of it has been very disgusting experience. I am writing this in hopes to get a response from the general manager of this location. If I do not receive a response to rectify the issue, I will be contacting the district manager to help me. -JG Rooms: Room should be out of service.

We checked in 5/4 prior to a graduation ceremony we were in town to attend. The room had a putrid wet smell. We contacted the front desk and she came to the room and agreed the smell was awful. She informed us she needed to check her records for the previous person who stayed in the room before anything else could be done to verify they didnt have a dog. After some time the front desk employee informed us they only had a room with one queen bed available which would not fit our family. We asked for two rooms instead and she told us they only had one room left in the entire hotel. She called the manager that was offsite and there was nothing they could do. We asked them to see if they could find us a room at one of the sister properties since there were several grouped together that were also hilton properties. She informed us they had a room that would work for us across the street and we would need to check with them and pay again for a room. She also refused to give us a refund or a print out for charges from our stay; or check us out from the room. She said they couldnt give us a print out because it was booked by a third party, which is absolutely not how it has ever been. Initially she told us they couldnt refund due to booking with Priceline but that she had a special number the hotel could contact and get that processed. After going back and forth several times she then changed her story and said we have to call Priceline ourselves and she refused to do anything else. However, they already checked us in so Priceline can not provide a refund. Terrible staff and disgusting accommodations and I still havent gotten a refund even though we literally checked in and left within 30 minutes.

Unfortunately one of the worst hotel stays of my life. Arrived a day early and they wouldnt let me use the room I booked on the app because it would overbook them. The receptionist seemed almost angry that I was there and greeted everyone coming in with the same contempt. The rooms were nice but were very poorly maintained, as my kitchen faucet could be lifted out of the counter a quarter of an inch, the bathroom faucet was loose, the dishwasher didnt have power, and when it got power all it did was make burning smells. The side door to the building wouldnt unlock from the outside. The cleaning was also unreliable. After a coworker also had issues with their room (no hot water and found an old cheeseburger under a table) and decided to change hotels, I followed but they refused to provide any compensation. Id honestly recommend avoiding this location until it gets better management and some repairs.

Stayed there for a couple of nights and its a good one. Maggie is the best and made me feel at home. She was just flat out cool and treated me like a friend and is very easy to talk to, courteous and helpful. I had a TV in my room but didnt mess with it I was too busy sitting outside making friends. They keep coffee downstairs 24/7 which is nice if you wake up before breakfast or run out of coffee in your room. They also had free apples at the counter 24/7. FYI they do rooms every other day so day 2 you will walk into your room looking like it did yesterday.

This was our first visit here, all though we had some minor hiccups during our stay February 1-5, 2024..Hot water it took between 20-30 minutes to get hot, we experienced some electrical issues in our room #305 that caused us to move to another floor. And lastly what I really did not appreciate is management LIED in their report I declined any offers that was offered to me, in which I am now still waiting this day 2/7/2024 to speak with management. I did file a report with HHONORS..All incidents were brought up to the staff on duty..Nevertheless this was a Very nice and clean hotel No stuffy smell a good choice for us and a great location. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! There is no restaurant nor bar, however hot breakfast is served every morning..but restaurants are nearby I still would recommend it! Rooms: Clean, not smelly, but the base of the shower can be cleaned a little better Safety: Good area Walkability: Shops restaurants Food and drinks: Restaurants close by..

Where do I start? That s really a question. My family and I stayed at Home2/Motel for our family Christmas weekend with family nearby. We had 3 rooms among us. My room was the worst, room 402. For starters I/we didn t receive our Hilton Honor gift bags, which was on the floor lined up along the wall. With everything going on I forgot to even ask (did I really want it, being they were on the floor ). That should have been my sign this trip was heading down a hill and it was going fast. As we re checking in we are told the phone lines are down at the hotel (unsafe). I had been trying to call before our arrival. I get to my room rushing because the COWBOYS are playing. The volume don t work. I then go to the bedroom TV, this TV don t work at all. Remember the phone lines are down so I have to go back down. The lady at the front desk act surprised (you knew), so she return to my room with me. At this time she call her supervisor and was told to tell me they re in the middle of switching WiFi .the insult was load. I had other family members at the same hotel/motel on the same floor. My brother informed me that his TV is working just fine, then my sister tell me her TV s are working just fine (see the insult) . The blinds in the bedroom are unable to be open because the string is broken laying on the floor. Ok, do the next best thing make a drink .the ice machine on the 4th floor didn t work nor did the one on the 3rd floor. We had to go to the 2nd floor for ice. Ok, getting ready to take a shower (I can t make this up) the water is cold and it s 30-40degrees outside. The dishwasher was not mounted properly, it stuck out away from the counter. At this point we go to my family members home that live local. This was a very uncomfortable stay. Not at any point was I offered another room. The next morning my daughter get a breakfast muffin and it s mold all over it she then make 4 to 5 more attempts to get a breakfast muffin and they all had mole. The sausages were overcooked (dry). To my fellow hotel guests please stop overlooking bad service at your hotels. We work to hard and pay good money to stay at these hotels to receive this type of service. I personally refuse to believe this all happened during my stay. I truly believe others have overlooked just got angry and sworn just to never go back, that s not good enough start calling CORPORATE and hold them accountable. Rooms: TV s not working, WiFi not working, no running hot water, no ice machine on 4th floor nor the 3rd, can t raise the blinds it s broken Safety: Phone lines are down the entire stay Food and drinks: Mole on muffins and overcooked sausage

Keep this in mind, this location has a $50 incidentals deposit. Hilton Garden inn does not. They dont have the kitchenette like this one does. So, you decide. Garden inn is considerably older but is more spacious. This hotel is only three years old. The reason this one is less spacious is the kitchenette.

Not the greatest Home2 suites we have stayed at, but it worked perfect for an overnight stay when we moved to the temple area while waiting for our home to be completed. You can tell that it s a little bit older/rundown than some of the others home2 s we have stayed at. The bathroom shower wasn t the best, and our kitchen sink was not mounted so trying to use the sink was an issue. Overall the staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast options were good. One thing I didn t enjoy was their pet policy was different than what I was told when booking over the phone but overall we were able to make it work with a higher pet deposit. When I called we were told our 3 pups would be welcome, and the check in staff said they only allowed 2. Several things I pondered over when thinking of giving this place a 3 or 4 star rating. Had my trip been for business I probably would have even given it a 5 star, but this was a family trip. Of course, the kids wanted to swim but the pool is tiny! Our family of 4 and another family of 4 and then 3 teen kids in the pool and we felt we just didn t have room to enjoy ourselves. The other family had kids that kept doing cannonballs into the pool and I tried to just ignore it because kids should get to have fun while at the pool but it was literally soaking everyone in the pool every time they jumped in the pool. My son wanted to learn to float on his back without floaters but every time he would get splashed by someone else he would immediately panic. Another downfall, the elevators have no AC or air flow. They are hot and stinky. I know it s just a quick trip up or down and at least the rooms aren t like the elevator but it was just annoying more than anything. The bathroom door in our room was also very heavy and didn t have a handle for a sliding door so my son had a hard time using it each time he needed to potty. Again, I think this place would be a great place to stay for a business trip but not very family enjoyable. Rooms: Rooms were very nice and updated. My husband liked that when we walked into the room, the tv said welcome Kristin and we were able to sign into our Netflix account instead of stuck watching whatever was on. Beds were clean and it had plenty of charging areas for our phones and the kids phones and tablets.

We stayed here this past weekend and we had a great experience. We booked a 2 Queen Suite because we had a party of 5 and the room was perfect. The room comes with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and even a curtain to separate the living room/sofa bed area from the beds for privacy. The hotel is very nice and the staff were super friendly. They serve breakfast in the morning from 7a-10a and although we didnt partake it looked decent (waffles, sausage, eggs, etc). They also offer a 24/7 fresh coffee bar which I did have some of and it was great! Would definately recommend! Food and drinks: Lots of good food restaurants right down stairs - Burger King, Mod Pizza, Zaxbys, Fajita Kings, Jersey Mikes, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. Noteworthy details: The 2 Queen Suite is ideal for larger parties. Theres a living room area with a sofa bed with all the linen that can be blocked off for privacy from the bedroom area.

The room itself was decent, check in was a hassle because even though I was given the option of contactless arrival through the app the confirmation number I had wasn t pulling up in the system so I had to go to the front desk to do that. The most frustrating part and the reason for my review is when I was checking out. It was early and I was tired so I didn t realize that the time it was taking the front desk person to check me out was because she had made a few mistakes and I ended up getting charged three separate times for the 2 night stay, two of them for $100 more each than the original cost of my stay. I didn t notice until the next day when I called and whoever I spoke with said the 2 additional charges were pending and she had made sure they wouldn t go through. I received an updated receipt and assumed everything was fine. The following day was a Friday, I checked my account towards the end of the day and while one of the extra charges had fallen off I still had two posted to my account. The person I spoke with, Margaret, said she couldn t do anything for me right that second and she d get back to me- even though according to her she d be calling management on a weekend (I guess to imply that she was doing me a favor) to get this resolved. I ve never been charged this many times for a two night stay, and I assumed that a National chain like the Hilton had staff that was available on weekends to resolve issues like this but I was mistaken. I ended up just disputing the charge with my bank instead, and I never did get the phone call either that Saturday or the following Monday when management staff was supposedly available. I don t recommend staying here, if you experience any issues it will be a hassle to try and resolve and just makes for a frustrating end to your trip.

Update: i wish they would let me edit stars that I at first didn t utilize due to circumstances. I will add that info here anyways , I would have given 5s on everything else . I was so discombobulated with the news I later realized I was trying to cancel the wrong hotel and night (it was the following nights hotel in Dallas I needed to cancel ) and we ended up staying here . As far as the hotel, it s perfect for us , with two older kids boy and girl who do not want to share a bed ! I wish more hotels offered more than two beds and this one does . Also they are set up very nice for longer stays with dishes a sink and even a dishwasher . We were only staying one night so didn t utilize these but found everything to be a good value for the price . The only thing lacking for me is I like a bath but most people don t so a larger shower is probably a good move . I found the hotel to be clean and staff was friendly . The location is really handy close to many restaurants and services. The below Info of course stands , but if you don t need to cancel or get a refundable it s a good option ! I hated to leave stars as I did not stay here, so it is based on my experience with only booking. it looks like a very nice hotel. But just a warning, make sure you choose refundable when you book this place. We booked though Expedia, had an emergency (my husbands mom had a stroke and he is going to have to fly to Chicago last minute and we had to cancel our stay). It is our fault, we did book unrefundable, but we have in the past had hotels reverse their cancelation policy for us when plans changed for much less. Just so you know, this is not such a hotel. And I guess I need to learn my lesson to only book if there is an option to cancel! Noteworthy details: Make sure you get a refundable/cancelable stay, this hotel does not budge for emergencies.
