Dont shop at the one in Temple, unless you want to do all the shopping yourself, and check yourself out. The cashier was more than rude and had an attitude problem about having to check us out and that we didnt bring a digital copy of the coupon that they had printed out.

Had the pleasure of being assisted at the register by a very sweet lady named Debbie, she was the only cashier there next to 3 self checkout lanes. I will always opt to have a human assist me with my purchase over having to do it myself, lets keep cashier jobs alive.

It would be nice to actually be able to talk to someone over the phone. Their phone seems to be broken since you cant hear anything from their end, as if youre hearing someone talking to you at a long distance. So the call results to them hanging up the phone and none of my questions being answered.

This was the best outing to the Michaels in Temple Texas! There are new employees, and I was greeted and asked if I needed any help from a nice gentleman. Then, when I went to checkout, another new employee asked if I had a preferred customer account. I gave her my phone number and also showed my reward that I was applying to my purchase. I explained that I had numerous credits, and she showed me how to apply more than one voucher towards my total. It was a blessing to be valued, and the cashiers name was Amelia. I didnt get the gentlemans name, but next time, I will.

Well, as often as my wife shops here Im thinking I should be buying stocks by now. We really like this place because we are both artists. They always have what were looking for at a good price. We see sales here all the time. The crew is always willing to help us locate specific things. Michaels is the first place you should go when you need art or craft supplies. There are also some deco items for you if you so desire.

Linda T was incredibly unfriendly and impatient!! I had an issue with my online order and I came back in looking for help with it. She seemed like she barely knew their policies or what she was even doing for that matter, and she would not listen when I tried to ask questions about the exchange. Like why is she asking for my debit card when she said shed exchange the item that arrived incorrectly? She seemed to get mad and huff and puff while calling for help, as if I was just another problem in her day, as if I should have already known how things work at this store. The answer was so simple, they cannot honor their online store promotions when doing an exchange toward a different item of the same base price (the correct item I ordered wasnt in stock). This could have saved so much time and headache if she had just communicated that! I would have kept the incorrect item as it shouldnt have been a big deal! I will never order from this store again because of this person being so miserable.

I wish I could say working at this store was a positive experience. And in some instances, it was. (Morgan and Ashley were nothing but wonderful to work with.) But by and large, management has the collective maturity level of a middle school classroom and is entirely unsympathetic to those beneath them. Employees are just bodies to fill spaces that need filling, and understaffing is so rampant that a single call-out disrupts the entire days schedule. If you are anything other than young, able-bodied, and neurotypical, dont work here. They dont care about you.

I love our local Michaels! They are always well stocked with a wonderful variety of fun items. Their sales are a crafters dream come true! Not to mention they have classroom things, seasonally!
